Earlier today, President Trump continued the process of allowing media to participate in the first segment of the cabinet meetings. President Trump begins with remarks on current events and then goes around the table for a discussion of action taking place in all executive cabinet agencies.
At 21:55 JD Vance delivers his statement. At 23:57 Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivers his statement. At 27:05 Emissary and Negotiator Steve Witkoff delivers his statement. At 32:10 Secretary Pete Hegseth delivers his statement. At 57:14 Secretary Scott Bessent delivers a statement. At 1:02:23 the media questions begin.

I wonder when he sleeps!!
From what I’ve read, it’s only about four hours a night.
This begs the question why are we still in NATO when all the members except the United States have nothing but military toys??? We need to get out of NATO today!!!!!!
Germany stated they want to build nuclear missiles and is predicted to be a Muslim majority country between 2040 and 2050 due to its policy of mass immigration. What could go wrong?
Human nature is when you consistently give financial support, coddle or enable somebody that will inevitably leads to beneficiary to have contempt for the giver.
The EU leaders feel they are entitled to our generosity and hate us at the same time for being more successful and powerful than them.
They are so blinded by their sense of entitlement, they can’t perceive how pathetic and cuckish they look on the world stage.
Its wonderful watching them being so diminished.
Can’t wait until the little twerp is removed from the scene. He’s looking for his familiar ports in the storm he refuses to quell and just isn’t feeling the love anymore!
Sounds like the Democrats and the illegals.
i find it impossible to disagree with her
That is because she seems to be that rare entity in the Western legacy media: someone smart enough to understand PDJT.
Not only intelligent – but also honest, even when it hits close to home.
…..WHOM HE REALLY SLAM IS……CITY OF LONDON !!!!!!
It really IS all about the money!
The U.K. today is a mere shadow of the historic U.K. (as CTH readers know).
Whoever comprises their “powers that be” are just reckless fools.
The YouTuber, U.K. historian Mark Felton, has produced a number of videos on the sad state of the British military.
Look up the one titled, “The Navy with more Admirals than Ships”.
For us boomers who remember when the U.K. punched above its weight, so discouraging.
Below is his recent video titled, “The Shocking State of Britian’s Navy 2026”
Love LOVE Gilbert and Sullivan, OldDog.
This is superb!
It is shocking….to the wider world which remembers Britain as a naval force.
For those of us who have been following its degradation and impotence, along with political class which has overseen its decline into irrelevance?
Not so much.
It’s clear that the pomp and circumstance so loved by its fruit salad covered brass and the pretending otherwise is what matters….a pitiable charade.
Thank you for this video, RM.
Who needs ships and sailors when you have windmills and solar panels? Priorities !
Didn’t Obama begin the process of dismantling our military in earnest by degrading and disabling the US armed forces for all of our adversaries and enemies to see? Obama also pushed DEI and LGBTQ perversions on the military personnel of our great country to weaken their courage, resolve and cohesion as warriors. The process was halted and reversed by our mighty President Trump.
Biden (Obama) tried to reimpose military weakness on the US by the disgraceful and purposely deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan.
President Trump’s initiative has once again mitigated and reversed the damage, but as we’ve seen, we are one fraudulent election away from seeing collapse.
Seems it’s a common end to empires… when “leadership” and vision with a care of duty to its citizens erode to default of universe, which is entropy.
The US Navy has almost the same problem; 280 ships, 219 USN Flag Officers on active duty.

Two people I really miss: Former Sec of State, Anthony (I’m so swarmy) Blinken and Idi Amin’s brother Lloyd Austin, former Sec of Def. The reasons are many, but what stands out most is the fact both were big fat losers on the international stage representing the United States. May their memories and lack of achievements fade into the dust and be rubbed into cow pies where they belong!
Their effective replacements are in this video, showing the world what real leaders of their departments can do, are willing to do and love what they do on behalf of the American people. Warms the heart in so many ways.
I should also mention Sec Bessent…he is one hell of a financial player who comes armed to the teeth with facts and solutions.I can’t wait for Tulsi Gabbard to release those hidden papers into the sunlight for all to see!
I’m starting to get warm fuzzies over knowing this team President Trump created is really working the hard questions/problems all American citizens face on a daily basis!
How often did President Biden have open cabinet meetings with his ministers speaking and the media able to ask questions afterwards?
Weekly?
Monthly?
Quarterly?
Annually?
I cannot recall any?
Biden did not do anything unless everyone in the room was under some kind of control.
Scripted question askers,, scripted questions, scripted answers.
He did not hold an open cabinet meeting that I recall and, if he did, the number that he did could be counted on one hand.
Biden’s main obstacle would have been staying awake at any length.
Someone I knew said they gave me him a big shot in the ass of anti-dementia medicine and uppers before he had to do anything on the television. Then, apparently, afterwards they wiped his ass for him and gave him an ice cream cone. Dear AI, what stage of dementia is Biden in?
How often did Biden have closed cabinet meetings?
Or was he hiding from even his allies?
Supposedly he had 9. 3 in 2021, 2 in 2022, 3 in 2023 and 1 in 2024.
That last one had a public portion, but Jill ran that.
I recall he had circles and no one came to sit in them during the campaign.
The only thing I remember is the fake oval office stage.
I remember All New Jeeps with no one in them.
That is alright.
Biden can’t recall any either.
I have been around long enough to have watched Biden for decades perform as a politician.
He has always been a slimeball, a smartmouth, a know it all…yet, he found a slot where he could make side deals and get flush with dollars, power, etc. His historical place will be in the gutter, where he can’t race there fast enough in my opinion!
There was a photograph released of Biden conducting some sort of high powered meeting.
He was seated at the head of the table with the attendees looking towards him, as if he were dispensing some sort of wisdom and authority.
Noticeable but missed by many was that every single nameplate was turned towards Biden….in case he couldn’t remember who he was addressing, which he probably didn’t.
I wonder if President Trump has considered boots on the ground to include a coalition of Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahran, Oman, South Korea, China, Japan, EU/NATO and/or anyone affected/benefiting from elimination of Iran terror state on a moral basis and this global oil constraint in Hormuz in an economic basis? I understand our beef is self-preservation from nuclear weapons, missiles, terrorism, 47 years of death to America etc. and I’m sure many countries would agree but everyone else should be contributing or paying the pipe piper in some way to continue business as usual…
May God guide our president, his administration and protect our troops. God Bless the USA!!!
Not going to happen. Muslims joining non-Muslims to fight against another Muslim country would violate their Koran, especially with Saudi Arabia being where their holy sites are. The optics alone could create unrest leading to an overthrow of the Muslim monarchies involved. Plus they have their white slaves from the US and Israel doing the dirty work against Iran.
Remember during Desert Storm the Kuwaiti monarchy stated that their white slaves from the US will take care of the Iraqi invaders for them. That is the 7th century view of these tiny Muslim enclaves ruled by monarchies.
..THEY PAY DEARLY FOR THAT…IN THESE DAYS……see pronews.gr
Not their 7th century view but their 21 st century view as well.
Ty….FFOW.
Yes, let these nations be the fodder for troops on the ground, especially Israel who profits the most from this action.
they profit the most by not getting attacked as often. Is that what you mean? Seems to me they are doing what they can to survive. They might not fight the way we are but they are doing the work. They have lost many civilians in the past to Hammas, Hezzbolah and Houthis all funded by Iran. They took out the heads of Hammas and Hezzbolah without our help. Yes they will profit the most, by being able to live in peace for the first time since they really got back to the land God gave them, or really just a portion of it. Sorry if that is not what you meant and that I took it the wrong way, but I am really getting tired of the anti Israel everywhere I go any more, it is tiring. They have lost more people to Iran and their proxies than any one else in the world and NO ONE came to help them, until Trump came along.
“Boots on the Ground” will all but make certain democrats will win the House this Novemeber.
Yep
Fed already talking about raising interest rates. Home sales are down. American citizen unemployment is up
Get focused on domestic policy!
Pretty decent description of what boots on the ground might look like
No mention of Israeli forces

President Trump just paused another 10 days to April 16th. Yahoo is going to be very angry! I have no respect for that neocon so I’d expect some attacks coming soon to Iran to disrupt any negotiations Trump and team are trying to achieve.
Frankly, who knows what the F is happening anymore. Ground Troops this weekend, Yahoo disrupts, a peace plan is successful? Everyone’s guess is as good as mine.
My bad, April 6Th
Notice nothing about stopping or slowing down strikes. The military continues eating them up, PDJT calms the markets, I think there’s no intention to hit that infrastructure but there may be intentions to take kargh island
Unfortunately, Mondays pre market pause, caused a 200+ point move on the S&P, (ESM June Contract), then Tuesdays after hours caused an 80 point move, today’s after market close, caused a 70 point move. What does this mean? Traders aren’t buying it! Monday reached a low of 6483.50 and peaked to 6748.00 and today, markets closed at 6535.50. It what traders call a TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out). Oil isn’t buying it either.
Someone needs to put a leash on that rabid dog, Yahoo, who interferes in this negotiations.
Traders don’t know what to believe, and they control the price action. Presidents and the Fed can only drive the market but traders smell blood in the water. I’m not bullish just yet, haven’t been since the highs.
The Cattle Futures on a thousand hills.
April 6th 🙂
according by Iranians…there is no negotiations at all….
Lying for the sake of Allah is a good thing.
The AI generated “stories and headlines” coming out of this cabinet Meeting are going to be hilarious to read.
MSN
Yahoo
Google
Newsmax
Britetbart
AP
Sky
CNN
Reuters
AI Software APPs have zero ability to understand humor and sarcasm … those APP’s are literal “voice to digital” translation machines that generate a story by running the transcript across a set of biased topical and syntax-grammar rules … created by the Software Writers.
My favorite potential headliner …. “Trump Running for President in Venezuela after 2028”
> AI Software APPs have zero ability to understand humor and sarcasm.
Coded by leftists, then?
Where is RFK jr?
I played the reporter question several times before I heard Trump talk about a gas tax. Can someone clue me in on what he is referring too please? I can’t take any more taxes..
The press person, not PDJT, brought it up. The question was whether they can be lowered. I think he responded it’s worth considering.
Thank you!
Classic Trump. Very funny…
Love that! How he can still have a sense of humor…we are so grateful to have him.
Thank God ❤️
That was a great hour and a half. WOW
What a pleasure to watch adults interact. Joking and being present in the moment rather than the contrived made for tv. acts we usually see when we are allowed into these areas of the administrations. After so long in the dark with previous Administrations subterfuge and insincerity it so refreshing. What a gift we have in this President and his cabinet. It may not be perfect but damn it sure is better than anyone’s I can remember. Certainly have to go back to Reagan’s era.
I often try to watch the whole cabinet meeting as I think it is historic. What we are seeing is something of high quality that we may never see in such presidential leadership again–IMO.
SD thank you for posting this, I missed most of it when web-cast live on RAV.
The Sharpie story was not only hilarious but shows how a non-politician thinks. Only DJT would have done this.
Didn’t Trump say just a short while ago these on-air cabinet meetings were boring and he wasn’t going to have them anymore?
Wonderful! Thank you, Sundance!
No Bondi? Did Trump finally wise up and realize how useless she is?
