CPAC is one increasingly irrelevant cog in the machine trying to split the MAGA base. They are failing bigly.

A new poll from J.L. Partners shows that 83% of Republican voters support Epic Fury.

CPAC, Ted “Wolfman Jack” Cruz, the oafish Steve Bannon and “Change the T to an F” Carlson are irrelevant. They represent a fraction of the 7% not supporting Epic Fury and President Trump.

Let’s all focus on making the 83% even stronger and ignore the noise making buffoons.

Put a cherry on top of CPAC, invite Mike Pence.

I opened the link to the list of speakers, and I wish I hadn’t. Gordon Chang? Ken Paxton? Tim Burchett? Hopefully these aren’t 100% political opportunists – maybe they’re a few outliers to make the establishment types use their brains?

I wish that people would stop talking about “MAGA,” as in “Tea Party,” and start focusing on: Make America Great Again!”

No one, other than you, is ever going to fight for you. Why should they? They’re preoccupied with fighting for themselves! So, if you are not fighting to protect your own [national] interests, you are losing. And no one is going to correct you. Why should they?

To me, “conservative” has become an epithet. It connotes mentally bankrupt politicians who bandy about the word solely to gain a money-making position. This website is the exception to the rule.

IF this is the Trump team’s way of anti-endorsing the Schlapps and CPAC, then that makes it even more interesting that DeSantis is also not appearing. Is this an updated measure of MAGA’s political sway, that future contenders must now bear the MAGA brand–even as camouflage?

I’m also curious if, by default, this makes Cruz the keynote speaker?
Will the Sea Islanders use the event to audition some potential future talent from within the fold*?

* While “fold” is the appropriate structural term for a sheep pen, the proper term biologically is a “crash” of rhinos.

The final nail in the coffin for me with CPAC (and Bannon), was when Jake Lang was thrown out of CPAC last year, and Bannon completely ignored the story. I am not a huge fan of Lang, but they are very biased on who they determine to be a “conservative”. CPAC is nothing but a grifting organization that has basically become RNC lite.

Of course lying Ted will be there.🤣

I was invited two years ago to appear on a panel at a CPAC event on the left coast. I appeared but was ashamed to post about it on social media. I simply didn’t want the public association.

That’s one way to deflate the old guard.

Attended CPAC once, in 2009. The CPAC that Rush was the speaker. It was fun, had 6 of us gals who all listened to Rush everyday who attended. I’d never go again but for Rush – YES!

From his actions Bannon is concerned with saving Texas from an Islamist takeover and getting Paxton in the senate, not with Cruz. All Bannon’s topics are very MAGA.

Everyone knows who Cruz is and his ambitions and shifting loyalties. He’s a problem like Lindsey Graham is but for different reasons. There are a lot of problem people in Congress and the judiciary.

If you haven’t noticed, President Trump and his entire cabinet are very busy. It is up to other leaders willing to step up to organize and rally the base for the midterms.

President Trump needs to spend what time he has available at his rallies in the important states and endorsing candidates for the midterms.

You may not like the event or who is funding it, but do not disparage because you were told to do so.

There are other names which are equally laudable.

Let’s not treat CPAC as an irredeemable enemy. That might be “splitting” the electorate we need for future winning. Criticize, yes; enemy, no. IMHO.
