Democrats have refused to fund the Dept of Homeland Security which means the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials are working at reduced capacity. This is slowing down security times at airports and creating massive delays for U.S. air travelers. The problem has been worsening day-by-day for well over a week.
President Trump announced today that if Democrats don’t fund DHS/TSA, he will move Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers into TSA positions with the benefit of creating an illegal alien catch net.

Many TSA agents continue to show up to work; however, many TSA agents are refusing to come to work without pay. The current airport delays are most significant at urban metropolitan airports.
The airports with the largest percentage of ‘DEI qualified’ TSA agents are the airports with the biggest delays.

When TSA was formed the Democrats demanded that the newly created agents wouldn’t be required to have even a high school diploma. It was a make-work program for people who would otherwise be difficult to place in jobs.
I had a TSA agent almost pull his gun on me because I wanted to look out a window at Hartsfield airport when my daughter and two grandchildren were coming in. I’m sure I had him in a remedial math class when he was a freshman.

It’s nice of Elon Musk to offer to pay the TSA agents, but IMO it’s really a form of enabling the Democrats to keep holding DHS hostage at the peril of the American homefront at a time when the threat of terrorism is at an all-time high due to the war with Iran. I think it would be far preferable for President Trump to deploy ICE at the airports to assist TSA. They will probably be better at screening for people who have no right to be here or who pose a danger to the public. If they identify a suspect they can take action right then and there. Maybe they could even have a plane on standby to deport people who pose a danger to the country right away. It seems like a more effective and efficient way of handling multiple problems.

Hartsfield Jackson). Had a flight back to Ohio at 10am on Tuesday. Knew about the TSA
situation, so paid $62 dollars for a Lyft to the airport. (Would’ve been 83! if I left 10 minutes
earlier).
Got to the airport, the airline app wasn’t working right, so I had to stand in line to
talk to someone at the counter, so I could access my boarding pass. The lines for TSA
started wayyyy back at the baggage carrousel. Got in line at 630, stayed in line 2 hours.
Went to the train to my gate, up the escalator, and my cell phone went off. Flights to
Columbus cancelled. No further ones available that day, unless I coughed up an extra four hundred
dollars. On hold at the rental car counter for 1/2 hour, on hold for the hotel 15 minutes.
Only refunded the flight cost to Columbus, return flight on another airline. Didn’t
get to see my mom, who had a stroke last week.
I plan to rent a car and drive up Monday. My car is like me, getting older, and maybe
not to be trusted for the long haul. I am to the point that I’m ready to give up the
“convenience” of flying. And, don’t ask about Frontier airlines.

Absolutely, this past week I was flying out from Atlanta to SEATAC. The Alaska Air lady who tagged our checked bag told us to be sure to stay in the premium line side. As we passed the general boarding line at 0500 am which was about 200 meters long with 4 abreast we approached the priority gate as the TSA officer informed us there was no priority line today and we needed to get in general boarding TSA line. After 50 minutes in this line and still 120 meter away, we realized we would miss our flight. No one was complaining in this line…bill

A TSA agent can prevent you from sneaking a 4 oz bottle of mouthwash onto a plane, but an ICE agent can prevent the Democrats from sneaking a terrorist onto a plane. Actually I disagree. I hate the TSA! Treating all passengers like criminals. Taking 5 once’s of liquid because it could be a bomb, but 4 once’s isn’t. Then throwing it in a trash can right there where many people are standing so they all would be killed if it actually was a bomb. It’s all about theater, just like covid. We need to go back to security like in the 90s!
I agree about ICE, but tsa needs to go. Just hire more ICE officials to pick up any slack in round ups!

I would have preferred not the threat but MSM having to report that ICE agents are now on site performing TSA duties at the airports.
ICE would be nice, but let’s skip the pleasantries, and just send in the Marines like we did after 911.

But look closer — those ARE check in counters in the background, and you can SEE the signage pointing to security.
No idea what airport that is….but the security delays apparently forced the security lines into the ADJACENT baggage claim area 🤗

In addition, ICE should be at voting precincts everywhere! They should be assigned especially to sanctuary states and cities! That would add another layer of protection for our honest and fair elections!! 💁🏻♀️
