Secretary of State Marco Rubio updates the media on current activity surrounding Operation Epic Fury.
Secretary Rubio begins with an update on what Americans in the region need to know. Rubio asks all Americans to record their status with the U.S. State Department. [State Dept. Website] To get the latest updates visit http://travel.state.gov/destination and enroll to receive alerts directly at http://step.state.gov. Americans who need consular help can reach us 24/7 by phone: +1-202-501-4444 (from abroad) and +1-888-407-4747 (from the U.S. and Canada).
Rubio then outlines the latest report on a drone hitting near a U.S. embassy in Dubai. A drone struck a parking lot adjacent to a chancellery building and a fire broke out. No Americans were hurt or injured. The consulate was already on minimal staffing.
Secretary Rubio then provides an update on the general disposition of the conflict effort. Rubio notes the two most powerful air forces in the world are about to go even more severe in our combat activity deep inside Iran.
The traditional frame of reference for pundits surrounds “the escalation trap.” Most of them are so stuck in their old Washington DC view of nation building they just cannot see another approach.
How do you avoid the trap? You don’t play the game.
You don’t try to control the outcome on the ground. You change behavior, without being on the ground.
Eventually, having killed or destroyed everything you want to see killed or destroyed (including their ability to wage war against you), you withdraw – then demand terms.
You don’t need to be there on the ground.
It’s a version of the Venezuela model.
Tell the governing body, whoever that is, whoever surfaces to claim lead with the support of the people, what you expect. Then you hold them accountable.
If they refuse to change behavior, bomb them again – select the refusers as new targets. Wash – Rinse – Repeat.
Again, pull back, await the governing authority to surface, tell them the expectations, if they balk, reject or refuse, bomb them again…. Pull back, await the next crew, tell them the expectations; if they balk, fail or reject, bomb them again…. Then pull back.
Is there an escalation trap? No, you are trying to change behavior – full stop.
You remain open but cold, hard and indifferent to any non-compliant replies.

New Ayatollah has been in the UK getting treatments for impotency. I would hate to get a penile implant engineered by Mossad.
BOOM!
Too funny! Love your sense of humor!
He definitely won’t have a use for any virgin goats.
I view a lot of You-TUBE for information. When viewing Forbes News regarding congressional testimony the headline and the excerpts always favor the Democrats, with few exceptions.
“As of early 2026, Hong Kong-based investment firm Integrated Whale Media Investments (IWM) remains the majority owner of Forbes, with the Forbes family retaining a minority stake.”

I see Erik Prince says this campaign is a big mistake and the Iranian’s have far more assets and land than Iraq; they will be tougher to capitulate and any war there will be bogged down for 10 years. Thoughts? Is Prince a deep state actor?
How much money does he get from China?
He’s a good guy playing by the old rules.
He’s fishing for a lucrative contract for his security company.
I’m not following… you can’t change behavior without being on the ground… but you don’t need to be on the ground…!just blow stuff up. It’s the Venzueala model?
I’m guessing this is a “let them run out of assets” game.
If the objective is regime change than you need boots on the ground.
If your just trying to destroy their weapons capabilities than you don’t need ground forces for a full scale assault.
If Trump has to get out the discombobulator they won’t like it.
It might start to make sense if you think about the need to change British, EU, and Chinese behavior.
They are not religious zealots who want to die for their God in Venezeula.
If Trump thought they were just like Venezuelans, he has some learnin’ to do.
I was thinking, how many people are in the US supported by the ChiComs?
Is Tucker or megyn Kelly?
The Chinese have a lot to lose in this if Irans crazy regime is thrown out.
I think both Tucker and Kelly are basing everything on past war behaviors by politicians and the war machine. I am having a hard time with this but I am going on faith and trying not to jump in the deep end. It’s hard but I think ramifications will be with us for awhile. I don’t think it’s clear yet what happens. So in short they are talkers and they are talking hopefully they take a breath soon.
Bat s…t crazy people like tucker and kelly surprised me (esp Tucker) the first time, the second I don’t even see.
I don’t have anything against them, they can have their opinions all they want.
I don’t normally listen to a lot of people on these issues.
Have you watched Tucker’s latest podcast with his take on this war?
It’s called “Israel’s War on Iran”:
Tucker Carlson – YouTube
You should watch it. You will be illuminated by the truth.
Cucker Qatarelson is off at least a half a bubble.
I think there are a couple things at play here. First is analyzing it according to our past experience with neocon forever wars. But I believe the second is the disillusionment with Israel, which they share with a great number of Americans both Right and Left, and an analysis in accordance with that abandoned Israel First requirement of American foreign policy. I would ask them both to step back and really LOOK at what they are seeing.
Let’s take our first strike on Iran where we eliminated their enrichment program (did or not is not the point). Israel was beating the war drums in preparation for its attack on Iran, using the same “weeks away from a nuke” mantra they’ve used for decades. America steps in declaring ourselves “best bestie of Israel,” and flattens the program in one night. Israel sees that and sort of harrumphs away. What happened? What did we do? What do you see?
After our one-night elimination of most if not all of Iran’s nuke program, did all of Iran look like all of Gaza? Did Israel bomb all of Iran into a smoking pile of rubble? No. Iran was intact. We saved Iran. You’re welcome.
So Epic Fury. Israel again was going to attack Iran. We had a plan in place to take out the rest of their nuke program along with the missile program, navy, domestic security forces that would prevent a popular uprising, as well as the leadership that pledged “Death to America.” We activated that plan. I expect this to last a couple weeks, tops, after which precisely targeted attacks will leave Iran intact. It will NOT look like Gaza. And the zionist leadership in Israel can’t really complain about it, because we will have accomplished their stated objective. But we will have saved Iran again. And again, you’re welcome.
You sound like you’re Israel-First, not America Firs.t
Why attack Tucker Carlson?
Have you even bothered to watch his last podcast with his take on why we started this war and what he predicts will happen next?
You should. You might learn something. You will definitely be treated to the absolute truth.
Just go to Youtube, search for Tucker Carlson, and it should come right up as his latest podcast — “Israel’s War on Iran.”
I thought his program was informative. I don’t want us to be seen as Israel’s lapdog who goes to war on the decree of Netenyahu. They have a well-established army – let them do it. After all, it is supposed to be “America First” – NOT Israel first. I am beginning to have a poor opinion of Netenyahu. He is too sure that he controls the U.S.
I look at it like this, Israel has been having to deal with Iran and it’s proxies for decades if not longer, we haven’t. Also the USA is dealing with the navy, and missile launchers, surface to air, surface to surface and air force while Israel is dealing with the regime. We are providing support but not the main attack at this time. Israel took out the building where they were voting for the new head of the regime, Israel is also hacking the radio and TV’s to let people know where they will hit next to evacuate before they start, usually giving them about 3-4 hours. Israel is who had their spies in Iran and hacked the traffic cams so they would know where, who, and when things were happening. Trump knows Israel had all this info and he and Bibi talked about it and I do believe that Trump is who decided to go for it. It did not help when Iran said they were behind the assassination attempts on Trump. Also all the countries in the ME also had to deal with this evil regime. The only 2 Shite (mainly) countries were Iran and Iraq. There are more non muslims in Iran than many thought because they only looked Muslim outside the homes, inside they could wear what they wanted and do what they wanted. This is being reported on many social media sites like X, instagram and even some on facebook. The fact that Iranians world wide are celebrating is great, the fact that those inn Iran still are cheering is awesome. This was a preventative strike, if Trump had not done it and Iran attacked they would say Trump did not protect the country. He does attack and they say he attacked unprovoked and did it for Bibi. There was no win for Trump but a clear end when objectives have been met.
“Why isn’t this over yet??? It’s been 4 whole days and it continues to drag on.” I have heard this from two media sources. So pathetic.
lol ty for the chuckle
I cannot help but remember the old Saturday Night Live skit where Belushi and Akroyd sent up “Roots”.
“Toby not a bad name.”
Just got to watch the video of a mark 48 torpedo destroying one of Irans ships.
Great job guys.
From a former squid.
The Vatican has come out in opposition to Epic Fury, and has stated its opposition to preemptive war generally. This from the same folks who preach against border walls, as they sit behind THEIR wall defended by the armed Swiss Guard. Hmmph!
So, a guy is standing in front of you with a revolver in one hand and cartridges in the other. He is chanting “when loaded I kill you” as he loads the cartridges. There is no moral or legal authority anywhere that requires you to wait until he loads, points the gun at your head, and pulls the trigger, before you act. He has declared his intention to kill you, and has acted in furtherance of that intent by loading his revolver. You are entitled to shoot him first, as he is loading, in an act of self defense. That is a preemptive strike. That is Epic Fury.
Chanting death to America as you enrich uranium to weapons grade and mass produce ballistic missiles are the declared intent and the acts in furtherance. Epic Fury is our preemptive act of self defense.
The analysis of this is simple stuff. I don’t understand why some folks don’t get it.
“Rubio asks all Americans to record their status with the U.S. State Department.” <- That’s not going to happen. I’ve survived this long packing my own chute and that’s what it is.
Rubio admitted on Monday that Bibi dragged us into the war.
A clear admission that we are fighting this war on Israel’s behalf, not for America and its interests.
So not America First.
Not MAGA.
And a deep betrayal by Trump of his loyal supporters who believed him when he said, “No new wars.”
Zzzzz…
