Through the years I didn’t really have much of an opinion of Steve Bannon, I approached any story of interest that surrounded him by simply looking at the factual details of the current event in question.
CTH well understood that Bannon, and subsequently his expressed opinion and objective, was simply an outcome of his position – downstream from the billionaire of the moment who paid him.
In essence, Steve Bannon always seemed to be, much like Kellyanne Conway, an advocate for whoever was financing him. From Robert/Rebekah Mercer at Breitbart forward to any endeavor thereafter, it always just appeared the same.
That said, with the release of the Epstein files, the relationship between Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Epstein is something CTH did not expect. {HERE} Bannon and Epstein were very close and talked to each other about seemingly everything.
I can never unsee what I have read. Nor will CTH ever entertain the possibility that Bannon was ever a good element within the MAGA effort. There is a solid argument to be made that the Bannon War Room was funded, or organized in the funding mechanisms, by Jeffrey Epstein. {HERE}
The files of messages between them contain some shocking stuff happening in the background while Steve Bannon was in very close proximity to candidate and President Trump. The level of disdain Bannon had for Donald Trump’s family and for Donald Trump himself is really something CTH did not expect to see. {examples: HERE and HERE}
I am left to wonder now how much of the vitriol against Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, ie. “Javanka hatred”, actually originated from the Braintrust behind Bannon and the assembly of people in his immediate orbit. {HERE}
Initially, I saw some Twitter accounts attempt to defend Steve Bannon by saying Epstein did all the talking in their text exchanges and Bannon was less communicative. However, that only applied to the first batches of files reviewed. As a few days went along and people started citing files, reading them gives a much more fulsome picture of the relationship.
Steve Bannon may have been focused on the financial gains and perhaps networks of people in his association with Epstein; but he certainly got deep into it and expressed extreme praise for Epstein, even going so far as to call him a god. {LINK} These were two men in a very close friendship. There is no political or ideological distance between Bannon and Epstein.
The level of expressed skullduggery that has been going on for years in the background is very unsettling to accept, and I say that as a person who doesn’t customarily get shocked by duplicity.
This is not about division; this is about something more akin to betrayal.
While putting on a MAGA face for the War Room broadcasts, in the background Bannon was actually plotting and advising of ways to eliminate Donald Trump from republican politics. This is Brutus level disloyalty, even accepting the guy has no moral compass other than his bank account. I can never unsee what has been seen.
There’s also some weird stuff in the exchanges about contextual things from years past. As an example, in one set of text messages Bannon and Epstein were discussing Patrick Byrne who is now part of the Emerald Robinson/Mike Flynn network. Bannon notes in 2018 that Byrne told him he was working for the CIA, and apparently Bannon did not believe him. {SOURCE}
This is the same November, 2018, message exchange where Epstein is advising Steve Bannon on how to set up a media network to maximize privacy, structure the financing and eliminate the problems with transparency. This is the origin of what would less than a year later become Bannon’s War Room on Real Voice America.
Did Jeffrey Epstein provide the seed capital to assist the start-up of Bannon’s War Room? That question isn’t clear, but sheesh, the creepy irony of the possibility is really over-the-top.
I guess in the big scheme of things, considering all of the potential creepy stuff that is far more consequential to the Epstein file release, the relationship with Steve Bannon is not at the top of the issues of concern. However, the reality of seeing this relationship and reading how much they both hated MAGA is just so darn deflating.
Trust lost can never be reestablished.
Ugh. All of it. Just, ugh.
Now we reevaluate everyone who openly, frequently and willingly associated themselves with Steve Bannon on that “War Room” platform. Including: Julie Kelly, Mike Davis, Jack Posobiec, Lara Logan, John Solomon, Laura Loomer, Harmeet Dhillon and so many more. Did they know about this Bannon-Epstein network?
Just a question…. Aside from the known and seedy side of Epstein do we have any real picture of is politics. Clearly money would be a motive as he appeared to be transactional in that sense but other than that what drove his political side.
Epstein was texting some Democrat politician what to ask at a live hearing.
Democrats attacked the lawyer who prosecuted Epstein in Florida when Trump tried to appoint him, but never once did anything about Epstein under Obama or under Biden.
Democrats are the ones who are being embarrassed by the Epstein files.
Isn’t Epstein’s politics evident?
Between those two statements I would say… no, not really unless you are implying that Democrats paid him better and therefore he had better leverage over them.
How do we know he had a political side?
He may have seen the whole world through an entirely different lens.
I tend to agree. Dude approached politics like a completely different animal than what we are. He was clearly part of the “big club”, that we here will never even sniff.
Harmeet Dhillon eviscerated the Liberal legal Swamp in the Civil Right Division within weeks. Hundreds of Liberal attorneys were released, or resigned.
Simultaneously, she filed lawsuits protecting Christians and European Americans, something the CRD wasn’t known for.
So her track record so far is superb. Top 10 law school, fought the good fight in San Francisco for the GOP for years.
But I know Sundance despises her.
The CRD has also changed Obama/Biden’s positions on parental rights, school choice and religious liberty.
The CRD, along with the Appellate Division and Solicitor General’s office, are the two rare areas in the DOJ where there have been solid gains.

Proximity / on a list does not indicate bad intent. Especially Harmed Dillon did not appear to “suck up” for notoriety only appeared as a means to get a msg out!
I will not “cast a wide net” to catch co-conspirators, but just have antenna up.
She and Mike Davis secretly conspired to change the primary process in California so as to minimize the number of electors that President Trump would receive. Once they got called out, they quickly shut down the proposed rule change but the damage to their reputation was done.
I believe she also left Kari Lake high and dry in Arizona after promising to “fight to the end” in the contested 2022 Governor’s race.

And she left Arizona early leaving Kari and others on the ticket high and dry to run to Georgia, where she also left the Georgia voters high and dry in the general election as well as the additional later special Senate races.
Her record against Mark Elias in arguing election cases is also rather dismal.
But who knows, maybe she has seen the light and is now in the right position to right the wrongs. I’ll continue to watch her current and future actions and results to see what and how she does.

Thank you. This is true. They both were part of the RNC who repeatedly voted for Ronna McDaniel until enough pressure from Trump/MAGA and light was shed on who exactly the individuals were who kept her in charge. She should not be in the administration.

I had no opinion about Harmeet Dhillon until a month or two ago. On X, there were people who were disappointed with Bondi for seemingly doing nothing (I was one of them) and the comments and actions of Dhillon were so childish. She called people names (I don’t remember exactly, but something like “fools, idiots, and other derogatory names). She even blocked several people.
That sure turned me off. No matter what good she now does, her behavior in sticking up for Bondi showed she is too much like the left who can’t stand any viewpoint other than their own.
She’s done good work so far…but I’ll never forget her bailing out on Arizona during the results of 2020; to head over to Dana Point to campaign for the leadership of the RNC.

Good guy or bad guy, Bannon added real value in the ’16 campaign and again in ’24 rallying the AF base. That said he’s a scurrilous sort with an enormous ego and the grandest of plans. Still, I consider him a Patriot on the whole.
Add this for consideration… The vitriolic attack on Trump’s family could be Bannon was using manipulation and influence techniques as was Epstein doing the same. Bannon could have been saying things he doesn’t really believe to present as an ally to fulfill an ulterior motive.
One such technique is Mirroring (deceptive version). Pretending to share the same opinions, interests, values, or background to build false rapport (e.g., “I hate that band too!” when they actually don’t). It’s not authentic similarity; it’s mimicry to make the target feel “understood” and more open to influence.
Evaluate people by their fruits. This situ is still playing out. I’m not ready to pass judgement. Trust only in God and Jesus Christ.

So, Bannon publicly and loudly encouraged thousands to get involved locally at the precinct level to support MAGA while secretively and privately plotted a party of two to scheme against MAGA? I need to read more and verify if any of their sinister plans came to fruition but from what I have read seems like two egotistical pricks in a disgruntled state of mind talking smack about the Boss that kicked out/fired them. Occam’s razor theory thingy. Also, the timing is off with Epstein dead date and show launch, seems more likely financed by Chinese billionaire Miles Guo.

The precinct strategy is good civics, but I saw this as another ‘let’s move on’ from the machines and the lawlessness of the stolen election(s). Self aggrandizing and very loose with the facts are hallmarks of Bannon since I started paying attention to him in 2015-16 when he was running Breitbart.com.
The epstein stuff is shockingly unexpected, to see the depth of these traits, but it rings very true to what he has showed for the last decade.

It is a good thing. Congress passed a law, telling Pam Bondi to release the files. She did, to her credit. For one thing, it is causing the British government to collapse. I find it so ironic that Bannon was an Epstein mouthpiece, among others. Now, Pam Bondi has set an example of government transparency and accountability will follow. She has taken a great deal of power to herself with this move. And it is making the anti-Bondi jeering section reconsider.

Sure they did. They are in Washington. I never considered any of the above true MAGA. To me they are the 2nd or 3rd string players of the WarRoom. In the beginning, there were far more interesting and credible guests and far more interesting information (even if we were being steered at the time). Any viewer would have to notice that over time those guests of early years disappeared. Some of them making negative remarks about Bannon on X back then to do with Mile Guo (who also was starting a media company). I feel like our energy was being steered in a certain direction of little consequence to the bigger picture. Especially after the election when emotions were high. Lately for the past year at least it has become obvious he is having a hard time booking guests. Talks about the same things day after day, same people day after day.
I would simply caution you that “Epstein was a blackmailer,” and that there has been plenty of time to invent “Epstein materials.”

Good point. Can we even trust the info in the Epstein files? Did the people on War Room know Bannon’s motivation for allowing them to get their message out? Naomi Wolf, for example, tried to get the message out about the dangers of the vax and the vax mandate and where it would lead.
I did watch War Room a lot during covid but never really figured out if Bannon was a traitor to MAGA. I had read some of the anti-Trump comments attributed to him sometime after he was fired from his WH job. That was followed by his complete devotion and respect for President Trump. Was Bannon a supporter of President Trump or an opportunist?

• Both the pervert himself, and that his sidekick is still “fully functional” from inside prison.
• The years(!) that [an unknown amount of …] material was sequestered in government hands, in which time no one could know what was “original” or “added.”
• The profoundly devastating effects of blackmail.
• The “incredible, today” motive to inflict damage. With a now-released “indiscriminate list.”

Why did she come back to the US and straw purchase a large estate in New Hampshire? What did she hope to gain? How was this going to improve her prospects?

Emails are verifiable. They leave a footprint that never goes away. Ask Hellary, who allegedly tried (but failed) to erase her own.
The only way an email can be faked, that I know of, is if more than one person has access to the email password. But even then, the primary user could later view the exchange somewhere inside their own email box.
I agree with you. It all became much cloudier on what this guy was involved in and up to. Epstein is a Pandora’s box of contradictions, unknowns and bad intentions. He ruled over such a vast mix of connections and people that it will take years to untangle even some of it. The real truth has left the building and just got further away with this Bannon info. I highly doubt any of it can be taken at face value anymore. Perhaps that was the plan all along by those who were his evil companions in crimes too horrendous to be unraveled. Cover up and lies and disinformation and diversions. We will never know most of it.

Just watching the sea of eels from the cheap seats sometimes I think the eels have no core values other than personal. They do what they do for power, control, influence, and $$$$. That would be their core values rather than some ideology.
They then use people that are driven by ideology to achieve their own personal goals. They can change with the wind to achieve their goals and that’s why it’s so hard to trust the eels to get things done.
President Trump has always had to watch his back and there is plenty of evidence to that effect.

I judge not by words but by actions and Bannon has shown himself to be very MAGA with his exposure of covid as the China virus (which was the origin of War Room) to demanding investigation of the stolen 2020 election to showing individuals how to turn the tide by becoming precinct captains, demanding an end to child sexual mutilation and other woke horror to daily showing the border invasion and its intent by elites to destroy our country, our culture, our middle class.

Warroom is not an Epstein brainchild. Rush Limbaugh had his own EIB network years and Joe Rogan was coming out of no where with his podcast at a time when the media was 100% mockingbird, You Tube was deplatforming and Twitter banning dissenting views. Meanwhile the internet bandwidth had grown to be able to bring streaming video to people’s homes, computers and phones. Bannon was media savvy. He had a show on Breitbart pre 2016 – and, by the way – all his Hollywood producer stuff was early MAGA, not Obama.
I don’t always agree with Bannon and wish he would take more care with his appearance, but when I look at his actions there can be no doubt that he has done more to advance America First, MAGA and the Trump agenda than anyone other than Trump.
As for Ivanka and Jared – I have more doubts about their friends than I do Steve Bannon.

Trump got Trump elected. With a lot of help from a lot of people. Bannon is one helper with a good sized contribution, but he is far from being the cause or reason Trump won.
You should recalibrate your blind faith.
Also plotting against Trump is an action. And leaking to Wolfe to tear down Trump is an action. So too was incapacitating Trump 1.0 with massive internal fighting and massive leaking.
It always amazes me how we can keep accepting back stabbers even when the blood is still flowing out of the wound. Once we put blind faith in someone, it is very hard to let it go.

I have been introduced to so many experts, authors, and historians from watching War Room who have all proved to be credible (so far) and pro AF that I am left with the conundrum: I am receiving all of this credible information from an incredible host? It’s disconcerting. Yes there are reasons to be skeptical of him due to past endeavors, but his work product of late has been worthwhile to me at least.

Many of those ‘contained’ within the Epstein files were merely mentioned by others who were under surveillance. For example, someone could have texted, “Hey, did you catch that Janis Joplin video on You Tube?” And that is all it would take for her to merit a ‘mention’ in the files.
This is why the whole
idea of releasing “the names” is a big nothing burger, absent the evidence needed to bring these people to trial. It is not a crime to be a name in a file cabinet.

I deem our community to be far more complex and diverse than the simpleton-heavy left. We have a conscience and watch each other with a jaundiced eye. We call out inconsistency and demand accountability when it is needed.
I’m not a Bannon fan nor his mind reader, and he’s the only one who can shed light on his motives. But in the heat of battle take any support and genuine help when it’s offered.
There’s time to get to the root of things after victory. Let’s await his explanations, and if he can’t satisfy us then thank him for his past service and move on.
Bannon’s biggest mistake right now is not coming out and making a comment on these texts. He will probably never do it on his show and I believe if he does it will be done through some kind of interview in the future when he is asked about the subject.
I’m just trying to be objective here. First, who didn’t know that Bannon disliked Jared and Ivanka? And yet, both Eric and Don JR. appeared on War Room multiple times to sell books or to present Trump’s case when the lawfare was going on. They all knew this and they still appeared.
Bannon is two faced. Ok, who in politics isn’t in form or another? Trump is the one who hired Bannon, praised him and then he got out of line and he became “Sloppy Steve.”
I believe that many people who dislike Bannon have seen the opportunity in these emails and are trying to use them to destroy him. There are certain podcasters and influencers who have hated Bannon for years who are right now been all over X trying to make these texts into more than what they are.
People are missing something. At the time of these texts, Bannon was involved in making a documentary about Epstein. But it was not supposed to be just about him. Bannon had said when asked why he was doing such a movie and he said show how Epstein’s perversions and depravity toward young women were part of a life that was systematically supported, encouraged and rewarded by a global establishment.
As a filmmaker, in order for you to gain trust in a subject to get disclosure and info from you can’t be a jerk to that subject. These texts may have been some way to get build trust with Epstein so that when he was being interviewed he’d be more open to disclose to someone who is not coming off as an enemy.
I mean, do you really think that Bannon would risk his reputation not only as a filmmaker but as someone who wanted some kind of leadership role in MAGA or politics in general by making a film that tries to paint a sex offender in a good light?

One thing I have learned. There are very strong forces usually driven by money that want MAGA or even just the Conservative Movement split up, especially right before Mid-Terms.

I am going to research this “ugly thing” before I believe crap or files that have been left with the radical left for 12 years. Literally the most criminal two Administrations in the History of this Country. They overthrew the country. Remember this is an information war. Looks like MAYBE a “dossier” type of narrative COULD have been inserted into the Epstein files. Bannon could have had money – financier doings with Epstein. But consider that is what Epstein’s M.O. was. Be the financier, the liaison between banks. If you have a business or project why wouldn’t you get involved – if is money and huge connection. Until you found out what he really was. We don’t know the entire story. Get it, then decide.
Perhaps Epstein was pursuing Bannon, trying to find his reason for blackmailing him. But never found it?

This was my first reaction when I read this. The effort to divide MAGA is stronger now than it has ever been before, and the fact that these files were in the custody of the communists for so long destroys their credibility. I always trust my gut. I’m sure many here do. Bannon fell off my radar when PT kicked him out of the WH in 1.0. War Room was never my mainstay news source. Whenever I happened to tap into the vids, it was to watch vids that were getting news.
Bannan and his close team have ALWAYS been team B in my view & gut. Bannon never ‘set well’ with me. Call it discernment. Call it my gut. PT just put him to good use for his viewship vote in ’24.
But, I didn’t expect the Bannon-Epstein hand-holding, but I accept the facts of this article for what it is — confirmation of my gut, and, by extension, his close ‘army’. You can’t be in his close ranks without discerning that something isn’t on point.

I watched the warroom pretty faithfully for a while. Bannon sure fooled me. He acted as if he was 100% behind Trump. I never heard him say a bad word about him. I’ve been fooled by certain people in the past, but this takes the cake!

No one likes to find out they have been betrayed. Bannon, I thought, was being honest in his intentions..he was not. Pretty much Judas now.
Actually we don’t know anything for sure. His communications with Epstein seem very suspicious, almost too obviously suspicious. SD is quite conflicted too about what is going on here. More needs to be revealed here before any definitive conclusions are made. I want to hear from those guests named what they think. So maybe we need to wait and see what pops up now.

I think everyone has that question. It’s probably one of the biggest corruption scandals in my lifetime. here you have a billionaire, hired first by bill barr’s dad, who also wrote two sci Fi with graffic stories of sex with young children, and gets fired because he’s already having “inappropriate” relations with his students. Then the same kind develops a hedge fund after a short stint at a major brokerage wall street firm. Ends becoming a money launder (I mean broker and money manager) for some of the wealthiest people in the world and become record breaking wealthy himself and yet not a single sec violation…not even any investigation about the nature of his “investments”. At the same time, he is screwing young girls, and seems to be friends with everyone in the who’s who of celebrity, political and wealth class. Owns a sex island. Jets with all his pals on a regular basis. Is given for free, the single most valuable home at the time, in Manhattan from wexner, a billionaire, who also just happens to have a major model agencies that is in the business of trafficking young girls and boys around the world for “modeling”…marketing ads and fashion shows. the law finally catches up to him and he’s allowed to strike a deal where his only conviction is solicitation of prostitution. However, that isn’t the crime that was committed. He was not soliciting prostitution. he was having sex with minor girls. The prosecutor, who would later be named a labor secretary by President Trump but then quickly fired from that job when this all came out, was responsible for allowing that deal to happen. And there’s more. This prosecutor helped the defense of epstein buring the evidence and allowed the defense to make sure non of the evidence could be used against any potential co conspirators.
WHY? Why on earth would a prosecutor allow that to happen?

I don’t know of a single person who credibly believes that is true. now, you start to understand the interest. And why it matter to want to know more about this. It’s about a very wealthy bunch of people who were screwing underage minor girls. and for now, getting away with it. The law on this is very clear. Young underage CHILDREN do not have the moral principle to understand why this is wrong to have sex with old people. Older people consequently must never take and violate a time aged principle that young children must depend on and trust those older people. This trust was destroyed and these young children violated in the most monstrous way. Took away their intimacy, the basic self respect, the promise they would be treated nicely fairly, protected, dashed all that away…it’s a type of theft. Innocents is thing. It does exist. A young person cannot understand this. This is why older people must be held to account for that kind of crime.
But when you see this on the massive scale that must have existed with this demon epstein, it becomes so much more than just a bad actor. The more you look, the more you realize there are people who knew about this and did nothing. Bannon speaks out daily for MAGA points of view and has a decent following. Epstein was once viewed by many as just another successful rich guy that thousands of people wanted to rub up on, just like various other rich individuals. It seems a weakness on the morality of the human experiences throughout history. Pretty sure it will continue.
It is also important to note that people change. Thomas Sowell has stated he was a committed Marxist at one time, yet it is doubtful we can find a better example of America First Conservatism today. Similarly for current administration members who were opposed to President Trump such as Vice President J D Vance, and Secretary Marco Rubio, who both seem to be changed and getting things done! This one has me struggling. It’s hard to believe.
It is always hard to accept that our trust has been betrayed. But refusing to admit it is foolish. Betrayers keep betraying.
The awkward part is we often try to make up stories to legitimize the betrayal. Been there. Done that. And you can read lame attempts to do so across these pages.
The betrayal is in black and white. Easy for all to see. Yet many refuse to see.
The awkward part for me is when you use the language of faith. Yeah, I know that believe has many non-religious uses. And that you aren’t saying that this shakes your faith. But the religious meaning always accompanies those words.
When it comes to our fellow men, we are all fallible. Not hard to believe at all that we have been taken in by a confidence man. Unfortunately, that happens all the time.

Also, who was using whom? After he left the White House, Bannon may have been using his outcast status to get close to Epstein and try to unravel the deep state from that direction.

14th district GA voter here. He has covered the fraud in our state relentlessly in 2020 and has all the GA groups-people on defending them and the fact that Trump won GA in 2020. I have never heard a single word of doubt about President Trump from him and I listen daily.
When he was President Trumps advisor during the first term everyday he went in and crossed off the promises made to us as they were completed.
I know from reading, that President Trump called him to ask his opinion on things even after their fallout.
Dan Scavino posted a picture on X of Bannon at his wedding this month at Maralago making a toast.(and I really trust Scavino there’s no one more loyal).
I have to believe that Trump knew this was in there in the files. I don’t believe Bannon would still be around if any of this were true.

The Epstein files show the deep,deep rot that has infected all of our institutions. From religious, to higher learning, to our political branches. Some say we are back to the time of Noah. If you read these files you will start to agree. I continually Pray for God’s judgement to rain down on these perverted men and women for their evilness. Bannon is one of them. His hatred for President Trump is almost palatable.

I did question the storyline on Warroom regarding Julie Peters and the Capital bomber . When everyone thought the Capital Police female ,now working security at CIA, was the suspect, Julie Kelly came on Warroom with a story that her sources indicated this suspectwas not the bomber, despite all the evidence linking her to the case.
The perp became the black autistic guy, a democrat, who they will never prosecute instead. I thought that was a heavy lift at the time.

I appreciated Bannon for roughly a year, before something just went off about him. This does not surprise me at all. I mean to say none of this surprises me.
I take this all differently because I remember precisely the things that Donald Trump himself has said.

If we learn that Steve Bannon has committed crimes, that is another thing. But as it stands right now, I’m not going to myself throw out a member that played the game as the game exists- just as our President has done and yet we love that man.

This is really potentially awful news. No wonder Bannon got bounced out of the WH perhaps. Maybe Pres. Trump found out about Bannon and Epstein and fired Bannon immediately. I hate to think of people like Navarro who was a frequent guest on Bannon’s show being involved in any of this Epstein mess.
Very surprised about Bannon. However, anyone on his show or associated with his network could not know of these texts. Working or being associated with someone like Epstein doesn’t necessarily make you guilty of anything; however, I think Bannon has some explaining to do to all of those who were behind him and what this means. Same with anyone else who were in the files in any odd email or text. At this point, many of them will just lawyer up. The court of public opinion must hold them accountable because pretty much everyone doesn’t believe that our legal system will – they will call in a favor from some judge or buy someone else off and be right back where we don’t want them to be. We must be adamant in it and why the pressure has to keep on about accountability. And, we must trust in God’s timing in all of this.
I am waiting for Steve Bannon to address this personally. Not through surrogates. I want to hear from him directly what his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein was.
Hopefully he will do so quickly….
He must have known this would all come out if the files were released mostly un redacted. Why wasn’t he ahead of the game here? This whole deal with Bannon just seems off. Nothing makes real sense here yet.

Reading so much about ‘divide’ MAGA stuff. From my point of view, MAGA is and was created by our great President Trump. Therefore, dividing us can only be done by getting people to turn from him. If you think everyone is going to be pro MAGA 24 seven then you should not. MAGA are humans. Keep your eye on the master Trump and if others fall, so be it as long as they leave him alone.
MAGA roots are in the tea party movement. Pres. Trump just took those and ran with it and created and expanded a safe haven for all those not willing to give up the tea party ideals. He provided a leadership too strong to break apart like the tea party was due to lack of that kind of leadership.
