Through the years I didn’t really have much of an opinion of Steve Bannon, I approached any story of interest that surrounded him by simply looking at the factual details of the current event in question.
CTH well understood that Bannon, and subsequently his expressed opinion and objective, was simply an outcome of his position – downstream from the billionaire of the moment who paid him.
In essence, Steve Bannon always seemed to be, much like Kellyanne Conway, an advocate for whoever was financing him. From Robert/Rebekah Mercer at Breitbart forward to any endeavor thereafter, it always just appeared the same.
That said, with the release of the Epstein files, the relationship between Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Epstein is something CTH did not expect. {HERE} Bannon and Epstein were very close and talked to each other about seemingly everything.
I can never unsee what I have read. Nor will CTH ever entertain the possibility that Bannon was ever a good element within the MAGA effort. There is a solid argument to be made that the Bannon War Room was funded, or organized in the funding mechanisms, by Jeffrey Epstein. {HERE}
The files of messages between them contain some shocking stuff happening in the background while Steve Bannon was in very close proximity to candidate and President Trump. The level of disdain Bannon had for Donald Trump’s family and for Donald Trump himself is really something CTH did not expect to see. {examples: HERE and HERE}
I am left to wonder now how much of the vitriol against Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, ie. “Javanka hatred”, actually originated from the Braintrust behind Bannon and the assembly of people in his immediate orbit. {HERE}
Initially, I saw some Twitter accounts attempt to defend Steve Bannon by saying Epstein did all the talking in their text exchanges and Bannon was less communicative. However, that only applied to the first batches of files reviewed. As a few days went along and people started citing files, reading them gives a much more fulsome picture of the relationship.
Steve Bannon may have been focused on the financial gains and perhaps networks of people in his association with Epstein; but he certainly got deep into it and expressed extreme praise for Epstein, even going so far as to call him a god. {LINK} These were two men in a very close friendship. There is no political or ideological distance between Bannon and Epstein.
The level of expressed skullduggery that has been going on for years in the background is very unsettling to accept, and I say that as a person who doesn’t customarily get shocked by duplicity.
This is not about division; this is about something more akin to betrayal.
While putting on a MAGA face for the War Room broadcasts, in the background Bannon was actually plotting and advising of ways to eliminate Donald Trump from republican politics. This is Brutus level disloyalty, even accepting the guy has no moral compass other than his bank account. I can never unsee what has been seen.
There’s also some weird stuff in the exchanges about contextual things from years past. As an example, in one set of text messages Bannon and Epstein were discussing Patrick Byrne who is now part of the Emerald Robinson/Mike Flynn network. Bannon notes in 2018 that Byrne told him he was working for the CIA, and apparently Bannon did not believe him. {SOURCE}
This is the same November, 2018, message exchange where Epstein is advising Steve Bannon on how to set up a media network to maximize privacy, structure the financing and eliminate the problems with transparency. This is the origin of what would less than a year later become Bannon’s War Room on Real Voice America.
Did Jeffrey Epstein provide the seed capital to assist the start-up of Bannon’s War Room? That question isn’t clear, but sheesh, the creepy irony of the possibility is really over-the-top.
I guess in the big scheme of things, considering all of the potential creepy stuff that is far more consequential to the Epstein file release, the relationship with Steve Bannon is not at the top of the issues of concern. However, the reality of seeing this relationship and reading how much they both hated MAGA is just so darn deflating.
Trust lost can never be reestablished.
Ugh. All of it. Just, ugh.
Now we reevaluate everyone who openly, frequently and willingly associated themselves with Steve Bannon on that “War Room” platform. Including: Julie Kelly, Mike Davis, Jack Posobiec, Lara Logan, John Solomon, Laura Loomer, Harmeet Dhillon and so many more. Did they know about this Bannon-Epstein network?

Bannon is an alcoholic. Alcoholics are liars and almost always have deep, rooted self esteem issues.
They usually have comorbidity with a cluster b personality disorder or a mental illness
They’ll betray you at the drop of a hat. They’ll cheat, steal, lie and choose poorly every time.
They’re envious and jealous and destructive. When you see through them, they’ll go on a path of destruction against you that is legendary.
Bannon was rejected by PDJT, thus the betrayal campaign. Who best to hurt PDJT ? The most powerful person who couldn’t break him. JEpstein.
PDJT was raised around alcoholics , thus he may still have a soft spot for alcoholics or the troubled and tries to help or promote or try to see the good in those who are bad for him and should never be in his orbit. It’s the trait of a positive outlook type of person who has good will towards people, especially those who are lesser or problematic.
Where PDJT fails in these relationships is he should’ve never trusted them in the first place.
Bannon is gross. His appearance, his demeanor, his messy composure, his associations. He’s just a disgusting person. Is he smart and clever ? Yes. Most addicts are. They can be very charming and very, very manipulative. That’s the pull. But their betrayal will inevitably be epic.
I am no huge fan of Bannon, but occasionally I have listened to his War Room podcasts, his interviews with various “DC insiders”, his MAGA event speeches, etc.
To me — to several of us, to say the least — this article, on the face of it, opens my eyes to a different side of Bannon.
Now, your comment, on which I have no handy way by which I can evaluate it, really lays into him.
But, in view of all of this, my question at this moment is: If Bannon is such a dubious individual, who PDJT should have never trusted, why did Bannon “fall on his sword” for the President and in protection of Executive Branch Privacy … why did Bannon go to jail?
Because he had no choice. It was the law and his lawyer couldn’t figure a way around it.
Not accurate. President Trump waived Presidential Privilege specifically for both Bannon and Navarro. They could have appeared with The President’s blessing.
Both chose the notoriety and fundraising capability of going to prison.
Correct me if necessary, but I believe the waiver was after the charges.
Whether before or after initial charges, with that waiver, they were released to speak. Both refused to do so. I do think Navarro morally objected to the process, because even with the waiver the veil of confidentiality was breached and would be again. Maybe Bannon thought the same. He is disgusting, though. Another strike against him, not as grievous, but quite annoying, is he interrupts more than Hannity!
You are correct – Trump waived right before Bannon’s trial. The Biden Regime wanted Bannon in prison, so they didn’t let him testify.
And, maybe to establish legal precedent for future jail terms of our opponents?
No, Donald Trump did not waive executive privilege at the time Steve Bannon was subpoenaed by the House Select Committee investigating the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack (in September 2021).
Trump did waive his claim of executive privilege nearly a year later, in a letter dated July 9, 2022—shortly before Bannon’s federal trial for criminal contempt of Congress was set to begin (after Bannon had already been indicted in November 2021). Bannon then expressed willingness to testify before the committee, but prosecutors argued this reversal was irrelevant to his earlier willful defiance and did not affect the charges. Bannon was convicted on two counts of contempt in July 2022 and sentenced to four months in prison in October 2022.
According to Grok. By the way – Eric Holder was held in criminal and civil contempt of Congress but never faced charges.

Slick opener btw,
No, Donald Trump did not waive executive privilege at the time Steve Bannon was subpoenaed by the House Select Committee investigating the
January 6, 2021, Capitol attack 👀
The President waived Executive Privilege for Steve Bannon.
He had a choice. He could have testified – breaking precedent of executive privilege honored by both parties for decades – and pleaded the 5th. Then democrats could use his breaking of precedent as a cudgel to force others to expose private conversations with Trump so they could manufacture another impeachment drama, destroy the MAGA movement and possibly even put Trump in jail so he could never run again.
It would have been far less painful and costly for Bannon to cave to the elites and political class.
The man is an impostor if not also a shrewd one. What you’re suggesting is that he do something that would be blatantly obvious to the pro Maga base. That would have exposed his skulduggery and revealed him to be what he is.
Sundance is correct when he tells us in the article above that he has not been outspoken about Bannon one way or the other for a long time.
And if you know Sundance and have been following this blog for 10 or more years, you’ll realize that the man is very cautious about taking any hard position until he’s got the evidence in hand to back that up.
Many of us here in the comments section, including myself a few times have taken a position based on what we thought was factual evidence only to find out later it was false evidence posted by somebody we thought was credible.
Sundance appears to be smarter than that and more patient.
So when he posted this article, I was not surprised.. He did what he always does, waits until he has enough evidence in hand, and this time it was hard evidence from the Epstein files, to reveal an uncomfortable truth about somebody who had been publicly posing as a friend of MAGA for many years.
publicity. Also he writes and talks like he is the original MAGA and wants to control that pool of active populists that is so much larger than his own rabid following. But Trump famously fired him; his connection to Andrew Breitbart disintegrated in his attacks on Israel. Rush is gone and can’t call him out. What better way to improve his MAGA creds than taking one for the BigGuy? He doesn’t care about being a legit felon. He knows he’s a predator anyway and looks like he’s enjoying it.
Now explain why Bannon exposed the covid virus proving it came from China, exposed the 2020 election theft and has continued to expose it for 6 years demanding investigation, exposed the invasion of the southern border and its devastating effects on our country, exposed trans mutilation of our children, exposed the race hoaxes, the BLM hoaxes, gives a platform to all those deplatformed for opposing the narrative of the elites and communist/islamic alliance all the while promoting how MAGA can take back our country through our own agency, promoting MAGA candidates and ways we can get them elected.
And then, show me when Bannon promoted woke, leftist, Chinese, Islamic or globalist initiatives.
🎭 theater
Theater or not he rallied and fought for MAGA. It was very positive.
To further his own reputation with the Maga base. The motivation for what he did is not hard to parse.
This is what I found on Brave Search:
In July 2022, shortly before his criminal trial for contempt of Congress, Bannon reversed his position and announced he would comply with the January 6th committee’s subpoena and testify. This came after Trump waived executive privilege, which Bannon had previously cited as the reason for refusing to cooperate.
However, prosecutors dismissed this shift as a tactical maneuver to avoid trial, noting Bannon had still not produced any documents or actually testified. The Justice Department called it a “last-minute effort” and “irrelevant” to the charges, as his refusal to comply for nearly a year already constituted criminal contempt.
*******
Trump declared Executive Privilege, Bannon went with that, Trump waived Executive Privilege before Bannon’s trial started, Bannon said he would testify and the Biden Regime ignored Bannon’s request.
Biden wanted examples made.
Interesting…
All the text messages were done with iMessage. This is an Apple protocol which is extremely secure:
*****
iMessage uses end-to-end encryption (E2EE) by default, meaning only the sender and recipient can read the messages. Even Apple cannot access the content.
SMS has no encryption, making messages vulnerable to interception over cellular networks.
Sundance has already noted that Trump informed Bannon that he would drop the privilege claim and he could testify. There was no sword to fall on.
What a cheap shot.
Nonsense! Alcoholics are easy to spot if you’ve been around a few. His actions and appearance spoke volumes. I’d bet the farm it’s why Trump canned him.
If you believe Bannon is really an alcoholic. Consider that was the TRUE reason President Trump let him go.
You are both right, be we didn’t move the needle proving this point…
There has been some good coming out of the war room, but just like hanity there is a stench of evil deception there.
Lent is upon us and it clear evil is on the move…
That should give us all hope, because when you feel you are being tempted, you should remember one thing, it’s because the devil knows he does not have your soul. Knowing this should give us Strength. Because it means our goal of making it into Heaven is still intact. Defeating Satan is the first step toward Make America Great Again.
Interesting. Thank you.
If you’ve lived with alcoholics you would know she is correct.
Scarlett’s analysis is good enough to copy and keep for use in our own associations. Ivan very closely matches my own. So I would add a couple of more minor points.
First, sociopaths and other generally bad people are always too charming and too caring. People that seem like they will do anything for you. Perhaps to excess. This will be your first clue that they are also people that will do anything to you. The charm and care are tools in their trade. Certainly Bannon has that trait. But someone like Epstein would be on another level.
The impression that Bannon was involved in the negative communication against Trump precedes the rejection. So, the interest of Epstein in Bannon was self protection using the tool that was Bannon, as Trump was now the chief law enforcement officer in the country. Not a good situation for good ole Jeffrey.
The willingness of Bannon to go to jail serves two major needs of his personality, martyrdom and deception. Ingratiating himself to his audience while protecting his source of capital. If Bannon had gone to the congressional testimony, he could have been cornered if some dem had uncovered his relationship or funding. Taking the other fifth would have been no protection.
Trump’s wisdom is shown by rejection of both of them.
Reading some of the texts, it appears to me that Epstein acts as “the seducer” in their relationship. Bannon’s responses are often terse, as if he were too busy to respond.
Do you take it that Epstein was recruiting Bannon into his network as self protection? Either as a resource or a spy?
Could have been recruitment. Epstein was evidently quite the smooth operator on the surface (and a lying snake).
So you write off all the Bannon’s great work supporting Trump and MAGA since he first got Trump elected in 2016 through 6 years of War Room when no one was telling the truth about Covid, Jan 6, 2020 election fraud, transgender fraud, BLM rioting, Obama, Biden, border, Trump impeachment hoaxes, immigration fraud.
Bannon doesn’t deal with authority well. Neither does Musk (who Bannon dislikes) or Trump for that matter. People who make a big difference in the world are different. Judge them by their actions. Bannon has done far more to advance MAGA than anyone other than Trump.
I sympathize with your position. But Bannon was not the original source of anything you cite. It took no great intellect to see the problematical nature of the 2020 election. Many doctors were persecuted out of their license to speak the truth about covid. Not one of them needed Steve Bannon as a source. I’m sure that had you never heard of Bannon you would have been shocked at mutilation of children. You didn’t need to be told to object to that.
Few people are all bad, and even fewer all good. I have been a Bannon doubter here for a long time and have taken criticism for that. In this website, we have a host whose work holds up remarkably well over time, seeks no acclaim or gain, and is open to all. Use people like this as a standard.
I’m sorry, but plenty of warning signs were out there on Bannon from the beginning. I’m glad that you lack my perspective on this subject. Because mine came from very painful experience with this type of person.
Let’s be straight. Bannon did not get Trump elected. The MAGA base got Trump elected.
Exactly, Susan, I’ve made a similar comment later on this article. “Action, action, action”, speaks louder than words! Thank you. I’m glad I’m not so “paranoid” as some on this site are, to not trust anyone on our side. They may as well go hide somewhere and wait until it’s over. A lot of chicken littles here sadly.
Being around alcoholics in the past, I said much the same thing about Bannon in the early days of the first Trump administration. He was like a small tornado with a red nose and unshaven appearance. I was happy he and President Trump parted ways. It would have only gotten worse.
🎯 👍
Bloviating BS artist.
🔥🌬️
well written
Yikes.
How do you know Bannon is an alcoholic with a personality disorder? Do you have medical records? Are you a friend or relative?
Throwing out clinical terms and personality traits without evidence as well as your last paragraph stating you don’t like his “gross” appearance is more akin to what the left does to PDJT.
The thing I find fascinating about the Epstein files is what must be a very short list of leaders, players and high profile people who did NOT have contact with him.
Seems like Epstein left no stone unturned.
Bannon was not merely mentioned as a one-time, casual contact. From their frequent correspondence, “sloppy Steve’s” ties to Epstein ran much
deeper than a fleeting contact.
Very interesting and perceptive post.
To know a person is to have a hard night drinking together. It reveals. Talk to someone who’s had that with Bannon and we may true up what we perceive. Although, it’s kind of like deer camp.
I’ve known alcoholics, this describes many but not all when they drink. Speak with those who stop drinking and stay off and many are quite different. Not all but many.
Doesn’t drink.
Wow! I guess Bannon’s “betrayal campaign” isn’t working so well, it seems to be having the opposite effect.
I had written off every person listed in the final paragraph long before the Epstein controversy. All part of the “The world will end next week; buy my book crowd.”
So just about every “Influencer” and “Podcaster” who helped get Trump elected twice could be potential scumbags based on the Epstein crap. I liked (and still do many) listening to these folks so this is quite devastating to me. Aparently Charlie Kirk really was the glue that held MAGA together. With him gone the entire MAGA movement appears to be self-destructing and blowing apart at the seams.
“Now we reevaluate everyone who openly, frequently and willingly associated themselves with Steve Bannon on that “War Room” platform. Including: Julie Kelly, Mike Davis, Jack Posobiec, Lara Logan, John Solomon, Laura Loomer, Harmeet Dhillon and so many more. Did they know about this Bannon-Epstein network?”
Charlie Kirk was the glue? Absolutely ludicrous.
MAGA grew out of the Tea Party, long before Charlie was such an influence.
No. Instead of deciding who we will listen to and believe based on what we’ve heard or read that originated from many unknown sources, Sundance has taken the time to read source information recently released into the public domain that reveals nefarious relationships and previously hidden communications that reveal private relationships and political positions at odds with what we previously had been told by alternate “conservative” media sources.
It isn’t the first time we’ve learned that we were lied to and believed the lies because dark actors were skilled actors in concealing their motives.
I dare say this won’t be the last time truth emerges via hard evidence thst we’ve been fooled by skilled liars.
BTW, this negative info about Bannon has been “out there” in the internet milieu for years. But War Room persuaded most of us that Bannon was a good guy who was getting lied about.
President Trump knew the truth but also knew Bannon had captured a lot of the MAGA crowd and up to a point thst was helping PDJT more than harming. That balance will no longer hold up.
What is amazing is the denial exhibited today on this site of hard evidence. Truly the facts do not care how one feels about them. The ability to remove your emotions from the equation should be preliminary to any seeker of the facts.
Steve Bannon is a case in point of whether or not a person can analyze with the requiem detachment hard evidence and reach valid conclusions based on fact. Steve Bannon is a MAGA grifter of no loyalty possessed of an overweening ego.
🎯
Exactly. I stopped listening to Bannon or War Room a year or two back. Maybe longer, I can’t remember because it’s been awhile.
I don’t remember specifically what turned me off from the man, but I believe it was an accumulation of questionable statements, news, reports, and lack of confirmation of whether or not President Trump trusted Bannon or not.
But something caused my “antenna to go up” with respect to Bannon and it just didn’t feel like it was worth my time to listen to his podcast anymore.
also on many conservative websites, if you posted anything but adoration for “Steven K Bannon”, his dementors were absolutely vicious, often vile in response which isn’t really healthy for what should be an open and engaging forum. If I ever had doubts about Bannon being a swine in the hen house, those were quickly resolved by his minions and the combative comments that followed any criticism of their “hero”. They don’t call it War Room for nothing.
It frees one up tremendously not to feel a need to have others (pod casters or media broadcasters) think for them.
One of the huge accomplishments of Sundance is to provoke readers to think for themselves, to examine facts themselves rather than gorge on others opinions of those facts. Every article Sundance produces is supported in background fact to support his conclusions and over the years very rarely is Sundance wrong because of the commitment to do the research for himself.
Gee whiz sounds alot like the current treehouse. This used to be a site welcoming healthy debate around opinions. Now it’s sadly group think in an echo chamber or you’re disruptive. Sad.
Healthy debate over opinions is a great thing provided those opinions have some basis in logical reasoning or facts or both.
Far too often opinions expressed here are based on feels or how “one wishes things were” devoid of any value but venting on that posters part.
I agree and probably observed the same comments but I see that kind of hyperbolic reply to many well-supported criticisms of people in the conservative alternative media who appear to be profiting off of what I have termed “rage bait” type of “reporting”.
No solutions offered, just telling us the latest alleged “outrage” done by the Left or RINOs etc. with little proof or references that can be verified.
The media’s information always seems to come down to money. I wasn’t getting the truth in the news in 1965 any better than I’m getting today. Money decides what truth be told. Conservative news outlets have always left me wanting. I keep questioning everything I hear on the news, no matter which side they are on. What is disconcerting is where our message is reaching the public. Newsmax throws a monkey in the wrench every hour. Sometimes ‘The Last Refuge’ is exactly where I go, and I’m seldom disappointed. This morning was one of those times. Breitbart gave me Bannon, but he couldn’t replace him. I miss Rush. After an hour of muddling through Twitter, I pick up some truth and news. I have to explain Trump economics to a MAGA supporter during that hour. I have to defend Pam Bondi, which is a difficult job. I’m going to leave it to God to put my country back where it belongs, and do all I can to help that. Thank You Sundance, and the commenters on Treehouse.

👍👍👍
Your opinion is “un-glued” from reality.
One has to analyze who they believe, while trust in truth is like the wind.
No, the so called maga glue you speak of is gone because people can’t allow others to think for themselves without getting attacked. Sounds alot like the far left eh?
It requires many many individuals to make America Great, again. The glue is in the core tenants of liberty and the precepts of justice. Not much will sever an individual’s North Star if they have the courage of their convictions. Don’t need a circus barker or “influencer” to tell you which way the wind blows if you can reason fact from fiction.
What about Peter Navarro? He still seems to be close to Bannon.
He gets a paycheck, works out of the EOB, not the WH, and seems to function as an economic educator to the public with short videos he makes on various topics of relevance. My guess is rewarded for loyalty, but not within the inner circle.
I make no judgment on Bannon but here is a contemporary partial list of his contributions e.g. his fruits:
Launching the War Room Podcast as a MAGA Hub: Post-White House, Bannon started this daily show in 2019, which has become a central platform for MAGA strategy, guest appearances by Trump allies, and discussions on topics like election integrity and anti-immigration. It has amassed tens of millions of downloads, mobilizing supporters and keeping the movement energized during Trump’s post-2020 efforts.
Promoting the Precinct Strategy for Grassroots GOP Takeover: Bannon advocated for MAGA supporters to run for local Republican precinct positions, leading to widespread organizing after 2020. This “bottom-up” approach helped election skeptics and populists gain control of party infrastructure in states like Arizona and Michigan, reshaping the GOP toward America First priorities.
Mobilizing for Trump’s 2024 Victory and Post-Election Influence: Through his podcast and public advocacy, Bannon rallied the “MAGA army” for Trump’s 2024 campaign, emphasizing voter turnout and challenging results in prior cycles. He contributed greatly in building the movement that enabled Trump’s return.
🤣. Did you copy that from RAV’s public relations dept?
Good point. He seemed to work awfully hard to get PDJT reelected. All very confusing.
Epstein seemingly had his hand up everyone’s backside which I imagine is why he had to come off the chess board.
Jeff sessions also worked hard to get Trump elected. How’d that work out?
Bad example, Jeff’s a good man, just weak.
Very good assessment, Mrs. Sunshine! Thank you.
I believe that regardless of Bannon’s personal flaws, his motivations, etc., that God does ultimately turn what the devil meant for bad into good. Steve Bannon has done a very good job of giving many heretofore unknowns a platform.
Through his Warroom podcast I have learned about Mike Benz, Darren Beattie, Sam Faddis, Russ Vought, Frank Gaffney, and many, many others. I will not through rocks at Bannon, or assume that many others who were associated with Epstein are thoroughly corrupt, though they very well may be.
I actually won’t stop listening to Warroom when I have the opportunity. This is another lesson in human nature, isn’t it?
Trust, but verify.
I agree JannB and Mrs. Sunshine! Trust, but verify. I have been deceived and bamboozled on several occasions because I trusted someone or something but failed to follow up with verification and due diligence. I had to learn the hard (and sometimes expensive) way. But along the way I have learned to trust God more and to ask Him for discernment in every situation. And having a little bit of common sense can go a long way, too. If something doesn’t seem right, sound right or pass the smell test, take the time to research, verify and investigate. I have enjoyed my brief time in sharing CTH with you all and I have learned a lot from many of you. Thank you Sundance for your dedication to keeping us informed and enlightened. And I will continue watching RAV and the War Room with a dose of discernment, trust and verification! God bless you all.
I was a Treeper before I was a member of the Posse’. I started to listen the day after the election in 2020.
DAILY!!
I knew he didn’t like Jared.
I did wonder what kept the boat afloat. I figured he had his hand in helping Taj Gill start his coffee business, and likely in all the businesses he does adds for.
That he was either silent partner or an investor. What will become of them?
He was heading in the Crypto direction, then changed and switched to Gold.
What about Patrick and Birch Gold? End of the Dollar Empire?
Does it all go down as worthless bullshit now?
He has given a platform for all kind of people who are running for office.
There is some heavy duty angst happening.
The ripples are very far and wide.
I learned a ton about American History from him. I learned a lot in general from him.
He exposed his audience to some very high-end thinkers. Great authors and so much more.
I checked each link, and aside from him calling Trump Stupid, I am not seeing
that he and Epstein were plotting and planning.
What about the theory he was just stringing Epstein along, saying things Epstein wanted to hear.
Epstein seemed to fish a lot. Maybe he is the one who thought of himself as more important to Bannon
than Bannon thought.
Do we all think that Bannon knew that there was baby eating, and blood drinking going on?
I realize he was at the NY house multiple times. So were hundreds of people. Not all of them
were Island or Ranch people I am certain. I imagine Epstien had women who were not underage
around when certain High Rollers were there. He’d feel them out, test them to see what he could
or couldn’t do with them.. How he could manipulate them or if he couldn’t.
Bannon has a big head and a giant Ego.
In 2018, Trump was not who is is today. He made a lot of mistakes.
Bannon probably thought he knew better. He is a strategist.
I am certain he regrets doubting Trump.
I believe him when he says Trump is like Cincinnatus and that he rose from the ashes
to return.
I believe he now thinks he is one of the greatest men he has ever known.
The stolen election would not be anywhere if not for Bannon.
Covid questioning, all of it.
He has been instrumental and inspirational in the MAGA movement.
I hear what you are saying about betrayal.
But, we are 8 years away from 2018, and there is so much water under the bridge,
I am going to have to sit with this for a while.
“gain control of party infrastructure in states like Arizona and Michigan…”. Two epicenters of voter fraud and failed opposition. Now makes me think purposeful.
lol! Good catch. Another mask slips.
Trump won Arizona and Michigan in 2024.
How’d it work out for the Senate candidates which is the epicenter of the anti Trump GOP wing of the uniparty?
Trump won NC in 2024 as well. The down Ballot in 2024 was horrible. Dan Bishop as AG in particular. He won the 2 times ran for the house easily. That district includes Charlotte, Monroe, and Wadesboro. Mark Robinson was railroaded. God forbid we have the first Black Governor of a southern state in history be a MAGA candidate.
Arizona and Michigan cheated sloppily in 2020, the original public voter fraud sin.
My take was the fraud machine let Trump win so the uni-party could destroy him in office. That solved 2 problems. Republicans should have performed better, down ballot. We got trounced. The fraud machine is electing our leaders at will.
Yes, it was the opposite of 2020, when Trump “lost” but other Rs on the ticket won down ballot. Doesn’t make sense.
The Mark Robinson mess lends credence to me re: Tucker’s view that the porn sites are intelligence controlled. Because that was a quick takedown of a rising MAGA star.
In 2020 as well.
Low-hanging fruit needs to be picked once again. Georgia is important to me personally because I’m from there. I have joined the RINO Removal project in NC. Any insight on how to get Win Red off my phone? Grateful.
These are clear facts. Also, many that were regulars on War Room are now part of the Cabinet. Scott Bessent and others.
Mrs. Sunshine’s points are true. Thank you, m’am.
What Sundance wrote is true. Thank you, sir.
I will now have to plug these into the 3 radically different narratives about what the heck’s going on in the western world that I must hold simultaneously… and see if what you both said makes sense in any of those narratives.
For example: In the “Trump is who he says he is, and his agenda is transparent” narrative, Bannon’s pro-Trump work could have still served anti-Trump interests by working up his followers so that if the assasination attempt had been successful, civil unrest might have followed, leading to the most impassioned MAGA followers being imprisoned and martial law declared, making it socially, if not legally, impossible to support MAGA ideals with any political leverage.
I don’t know if any of that is true, it’s just how you have to think your way around this course. There’s so much subterfuge, you have to have at least 3 hypotheses going at all times to remain intellectually honest (and humble) about all that we do not know.
We take the logical liberty of ignoring everything before the “but” in the opening sentence………..
Everything after the “but” sounds like a defense attorney plea to the jury on behalf of a very guilty client.
You’re correct in that “but” is an eraser word. I should have made the opening sentence two sentences and not use “but”.
Therefore for clarity, my position is: I’m not ready to pass judgment yet. I could go either way and I need more information.
An honest reply and my esteem for you went up a few points.
Well said, and spot on. None of us out here can truly know what all this portends, we can only discern by what we see, especially since most is smoke and mirrors or outright lies.
… thank you Mrs. sunshine, for your welcome response.
We’re ALL sinners with some form of blackness in our past lives. I think Jesus for His forgiveness & hope some of my mistakes never become public.
When I went into harms way over VN in ’72, I was accompanied by hard drinking, cursing, two-timing husbands who’d fight for & with you against our NATURAL enemy! We were on the same team despite major differences visible on the ground or in the wardroom.
Actually, we’re all alike, saved by the Grace of God…
Mr. Sunshine had made many mistakes in his past before I met him, crashed and burned, found Jesus and after he found Jesus Christ is when I found him.
His crash and burn and subsequently being saved is what makes him the great man he is today.
God bless you and everyone.
…totally understand & thank you. The Holy Spirit is holding your Right hand❤️👍👏🇺🇸👊
Thank you, and I know you could go on and fill many pages with his “fruits” Action, action, action! Isn’t Steve the one who first mentioned Trump for a third term? Boy, how could he undermine our President like that, what a terrible person. lol
Regarding: “I am left to wonder now how much of the vitriol against Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, ie. “Javanka hatred”, actually originated from the Braintrust behind Bannon and the assembly of people in his immediate orbit. ”
I remember the negative jabs at “Mr Perfect” Kushner and also of Ivanka when Bannon was with Breitbart. I never really understood why, but these new revelations make it make more sense.
Still have a problem with Ivanka being so close to Wend Deng, and that they were also included on David Geffen yacht adventures. Geffen is a real creep.
yeah never understood how boundaries evaporate with all those elites especially when you’d think they’d have substantially different “world views”. But then we see it in government too or among GOP insiders in DC. I remember Tucker Carlson talking about what a nice guy Joe Biden is and how he grew up around Hunter and really likes him.
Polite tolerance is one thing. Affection is something else.
Why is SB’s correspondent unidentified?
If those texts are between Bannon and Epstein, why is Epstein’s name redacted?
If you are wondering if the texts are legit…..
here is a link to see the over 1800 emails they
exchanged. 🤷♀️

Thank you for that link.
However, the DoJ has little-to-no credibility (“Licensed to Lie“) – yet, so excuse my skepticism.
Not making an excuse, but the political world is so vast and full of two-face people always scamming it’s probably impossible to find someone not playing you unless you’ve known (and interacted with) them since childhood.
One of Bannons favorite guests is Julie Kelly
Julie Kelly’s name should not be muddied by the fall out. Nor Darren Beaty, nor a slew of others.
Yeah… it’s really disappointing. I always go with my gut and at some point, years ago, I stopped paying attention to Bannon. I cannot recall why. Something wasn’t authentic and I can’t put my finger on it.
It seems as if… most people are in it for the money, attention, fame, control, or whatever. Very few are principled and genuine.
It’s difficult for me to put much store in someone that doesn’t have enough self respect to shave, shower, or comb their hair. His entire appearance is off putting and grubby.
As we get closer to the end times, there will not be more evil . On the contrary, evil will be exposed. As we are seeing. The ones who fret over being killed by the left as one poster made clear on pg 1 need to get right with God (specifically need to convert to the Catholic faith as I have done). Being martyred will be a direct ticket to heaven. Until then you need to oppose all evil the best you can.
and evil NEVER sleeps.
May God bless you that you would come to a knowledge of the truth. And that Truth is, “the sum of all the word of God” not a worldly cooperate institution whose function is to control or be controlled for the purpose of a different Jesus. In other words it’s more important to know about the Lord (the why first and then the who ,what and where) in narrative from the historical context; the exegesis of Scripture. Study the Word, it is alive and profitable for whosoever. It’s good news, the bread of life the perfect lense to see in the dark. “Come out from them my people” , “my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”
The reason we see this unveiling is because of God’s promises we pray to expose them according to God’s word, and some of us are working a lot of overtime ( for the Love of Pete as you would say can you not see ? If we are not experiencing a modern apostasy then Jesus Christ died for nothing I suppose) we pray that the heavenly Father would remove them , that we should live peaceable lives, that we will behold and see with our eyes the reward of the wicked. Prophecy makes up the majority of Scripture and the whole world is in darkness. Are you in the light or not.
If people don’t know and don’t want to know then eventually they cannot know.
Forgive me if you will but it’s my job my commission, and I’m doing the best I can.

Now it’s working. Thanks.
I saw the Twitter post yesterday while scrolling. It was disturbing. It could have been removed.
It says, “hmm, page doesn’t exist”

There are some matters far better to “know of” than to examine. Some knowledge, some images cannot be forgotten once seen.
The bible speaks of the depths of evil and implies there are no limits to those depths……that is enough for this person. Alice in wonderland and going down rabbit holes just because they exist gets one’s fluffy tail scorched.
Exactly, I have no interest in the sordid details, it’s enough to know of the evil, I don’t need to see it.
I can only imagine what was on the Weiner laptop.
We know enough…..it was said to make seasoned policemen sick.
Yes, and where are those policemen? The ones who gave the material to the FBI trusting that the contents would be investigate or the police were going to expose what they saw/read. What ever happened to them? The FBI has still not answered for the neglect of Weiners’s laptop evidence.
I believe all 12 (?) or them are now deceased in very odd circumstances. Suicide, etc
*12 of them
😭 😭 😭 😭 😭
Remember photos of a dentist’s chair?
The stuff I’ve heard makes me want to puke. Monsters!
Tim Burchett is today’s “Mr Smith” in Washington. I have been following his informative updates, very often filled with disgust and amazement with a barely held Republican House.
There are no others like him.
What he has seen he will never forget.
If the few words above which Representative Burchett has allowed pierce my heart, I can only imagine what he has seen has done to his.
“Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”
Come quickly, dearest Lord…
Please…please 🙏🏻
Congressman Burchett spoke to our Republican Women’s Club a couple of months ago. He was a big hit! He does not represent our district, wish he did. At this point the only Dem Congresscritter in TN is Steve Cohen from Memphis. However, there are plenty of crazies circling the bowl hoping to leap in to the Nashville Swamp, though. Remember Ashtyn Behn, a candidate who nearly won in a Red district special election a month or so ago? Yikes. She came close to winning.
I’d say the same…wish he were our Congressman …but for the fact that ours, after years of a seat warmer Republican, is first term Brandon Gill. Young, but I feel he has started as he means to go on.
I hope he is using Rep Burchett as his signature role model. Long may both men continue to serve their constituents well and honourably.
(And yes, I do remember her…)
I have seen Burchett out to eat on Saturday night clearly having spent the day under the old pickup in which he rode. There is no pretense with him. That said, I don’t think he likes me. I have bugged him severely a few times by email.
He welcomes all in person.
I’m not surprised…
In his videos, he always ends by saying, “Thank y’all for sending me.”
Always…
He also has two precious donkeys whom he loves and who clearly love him.
We can always tell what sort of man one is by how he treats animals.
And that’s an eternal truth.
I remember during the Hillary e-mail scandal (I think it was that one, or maybe it was some other scandal, they all seemed to run together) reading leaked e-mails between HRC and her buddy/advisor/partner-in-cahoots, Paul Podesta, talking in code and some of the vile images that were put in ones head just reading them. If anyone repeated any of the thoughts they created, they were immediately labeled a ‘conspiracy theorist’. Remember Pizza-gate? Talk of children being taken for their blood? Now you read/see/hear about some of this vile, corrupt, unimaginable crimes against children re Epstein and his crowd and it is impossible to digest. I shall read no more; I have seen/read too much already. BTW, has HRC returned from Germany yet?
people will get overwhelmed if they allow themselves to enter the rabbit hole of learning the details of the evil perpetuated. Overwhelmed people become easily manipulated people.
A key may be to learn how to refine where one puts their attention; to stay street smart of the media intentional focuses – the overbearing nonstop focus on the news lady’s missing mother is a good example of how the media is practicing the craft of attention vampirism, sucking people’s attention away from real news and unfolding events –
aware the evil is there instead of falling into the details of what others have done, seems like a purposeful misdirection of people’s focus so the primary then general mid-term elections can sneak in their communist candidates who are already manipulating their messages to sound like they are middle of the road Democrats and MAGA Republicans.
Keeping people wallowing in the filth is easier to slip into position politicians that appear normal and safe, NYC and VA governorship as examples.
Not looking away, aware the evil is there, but not spending time watching the horror show is one way to not play their game.
This lends context to why I haven’t seen Rep Burchett on War Room any time recently.
I wondered what happened.
As a Jewish conservative in Massachusetts, an anomaly as that is, I always saw Bannon as an underground conservative revolutionary. I don’t think Trump’s MAGA was enough for him–he was more radical. The conservative’s counter to Rachel Maddow. Heard him a little–didn’t follow him. Really like Lara Logan and Mike Davis. The problem politically for me is always determining ulterior motive, Are MAGA spokespeople dedicated to America First or their own notoriety and wallets being paid?
Last point, I was not enamored or trusting of Ivanka or Jared seeing them as moderate liberal leaning. I don’t blame Bannon for lack of enthusiasm for them.
But I am disappointed in Bannon–saw him as a fighter for the cause. Now I see as so many political whores….”pay me and pay attention to me so I’m seen as the important influencer leading me to my next gig.”
For me this is a nothing burger. Epstein had big money and was in the business of influence peddling, so communicated with a ton of people in & around DC. Btw, as usual there’ll be commenters here trying to drive a wedge between maga people.
It’s not about Epstein.
The issue is Bannon plotting on ways to destroy Donald Trump, remove him using the 25th Amendment, reposition MAGA to be back in control of the elements who were paying Bannon, and the complete vitriolic attack toward Donald Trump’s family.
Bannon did all that and much, much more. Epstein was just the person giving him advice on how to create the coalitions to assist the plan.
thank you for stating what we all suspected so clearly.
Sundance, I may have missed one of your links. I tried to read them all. While it’s obvious that Bannon is pretty much a scum-bag (never trust a public person who can’t wash their hair), I didn’t see anything about him plotting to destroy President Trump, especially as it related to the 25th Amendment.
Please help if I missed it…
Sundance, never mind. If the answer to my question is in the 4,500 text messages between Epstein and Bannon, I’ll have to go see if I can find it…
That really is the issue – Bannon and the crew around him. Getting people to dive into the filth that happened by those involved does seem to distract people from what the whole Bannon brand of ‘influencers’ have been, and continue to be, up to.
Thank you so much for emphasizing this part of what’s unfolding. It really is a Big Ugly!
Don’t forget that Epstein’s longtime mentor was Les Wexner, huge Ohio Republican Party Grandee, dating back before the 21st century!! In addition to The Ohio State University where Wexner was once Board Chair and major donor to a variety of campus projects, hospitals etc., Wexner was a major factor in the Ohio Republican Party’s continued control of national and state candidates for office — ESPECIALLY those from the more rural parts of the state. Les gives these losers money and then controls them. Not surprising.
When Trump showed up in 2015-16, Wexner’s immediate reaction was to quit the party and re-register as an Independent! Little prick DeWine also snubbed DJT, as did then-Gov John Kasich at the 2016 RNC in CLE. These two were nobody state legislators early on. Taft Repubs from Cincy are more RINO-inclined. Toledo is more old-time normal Democrat, still ethnic neighborhoods and churches, with the longest-serving woman in the US House, Democrat Marcy Kaptur. Her district was redrawn not long ago to practically reach CLE a hundred miles east!
NE Ohio (Cleveland and suburbs) and Cincinnati Republicans are not as bound to the C’bus way of choosing candidates, which is pretty icky, i.e. what we’re learning from the Epstein files;-) I was so happy that Bernie Moreno, from NE OH, whupped Sherrod Brown in the 2024 US Senate race. I’m hoping that VP JD Vance is also free of the contaminants that the state Repubs have. He did grow up outside of Cincy and gets big bucks from out-of-state hedge funds, so there is hope for his future. Gov DeWine and now-US Senator Husted are C’bus focused. What’s coming is ugly.
gotcha…
I guess his “plan” didn’t work out too well, and he seems to be failing miserably at it today.
Ignore this “nothing burger” at your own peril… “They removed the children’s teeth to prevent them from biting during sexual assault and… pic.twitter.com/kvTNtEv4tb” Looks and feels more like a huge, evil “something burger” to me; likely to most sane, good people too. Anythng, or anyone who was even in the same vicinity as epstein, or his ‘in-crowd’ horde, should be suspect, and should have to answer some very hard questions.
Prostitution and politics are the two oldest professions, are very, very closely related and both are driven and influenced by money. $$$$$$$$
this is shocking on so many levels
and a betrayal to so many citizens
in addition to President Trump
and MAGA itself
we will have to sleep with one eye open
when dealing with anyone who attests to be MAGA
I never paid too much attention to Bannon
as I didn’t like his style
however, he was a huge voice
he will be brought down low now
and probably ends up working for CNN lol
although none of this is funny
Bannon may have been pro trump when he was supporting trump during his first administration. Certainly he did not leave on good terms.
Lara should speak up.
Ok, I guess I have my tin foil hat on, but does anyone suppose that Brannon could have possibly been an infiltrator into the Epstein camp on behalf of Trump? You know, keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer?
No. Go read the files.
This scenario is not supported by the depth, breadth and content of the messages…
I have a difficult time believing that most of those guests had any idea that Bannon was so involved with Epstein.
Epstein ( and Maxell) was an influence agent working for an intelligence agency. I think MI6 but there is evidence for CIA and Mossad too. Like this he did lots of stuff not associated with sex as well as the parts that were associated with sex. The latter part is often associated with intelligence agencies. It even has a name-Honey Trap. But they mess with money, media and politics too as did Epstein.
Once children are involved, ANY and ALL justifications, reasoning and/or strategies become null and void. Period.
I watched Bannon occasionally but it became too tick-tock.
Remember his old co-host Jack Maxey and the “laptop from hell”.
My Name is Jack Maxey, and I’m a Fabricator
https://www.yaacovapelbaum.com/2022/04/07/my-name-is-jack-maxey-and-im-a-fabricator/
The Dashing and Debonair Jack Maxey
By way of classification, Jack Maxey is a member of the class of establishment Republicans who produced the Italian Job, the Absolute Proof, and a score of other election disinformation actors that were designed to derail any attempt to conduct a real election integrity investigation.
Jack Forrester Maxey and his former wife, Talbott Maxey, come from old US media families (N.W. Ayer and Media General); they’re true blue-blood American aristocracy. Jack was raised in affluence in PA and graduated from Yale with a degree in History. Following his graduation, he was commissioned into the US Navy. After leaving the service, he worked for Phil Graham, who first served as a Democratic Congressman (1979–1983), then as a Republican Congressman (1983–1985), and finally as a Republican Senator from Texas (1985–2002).
Come to your own conclusions
the jesuit and the jew
Even at his peak I never warmed to Bannon. He just put me off.
Happy to know my gut was right even if my mind didn’t know.
I have never listened to bannon, nor followed any of the intrigue between he and Trump. I found his style to be annoying in a hannity kind of way.
if epstein was a cia asset, which seems to be a given, then his job was to implicate and make contacts and connections with as many people as possible in order to create kompromat for as many opportunities as possible. plant seeds, reap harvest.
ok, thats all I’ll say. let the throwing of stones commence.
Didn’t follow war room but wasn’t Kash Patel also a welcome addition? By the way, I still don’t believe Epstein is dead but merely shadowed placed. Consider some of the stuff and you’ll see he has power even to disappear.
In the last couple of days I have seen two different pictures of who may be Epstein. He has a beard and longer hair and it is said he is in Israel.
Or…could SB have been a mole…?
No
Some of the links in the article are not working….
They all work
I am getting this on several attempts:
https://www.justice.gov/age-verify?destination=/epstein/files/DataSet%2010/EFTA01615455.pdf
Just tried your link. Worked fine for me.
I actually looked at the text exchanges following the links that Sundance provided and did not see what he sees. While there is familiarity, for sure, I didn’t get the sense of Bannon being a Brutus – someone who backstabs Trump. It seems he was more reserved and was responding to Epstein instead of pursuing him (i.e., passive not active). While he was definitely thinking highly of himself (who wouldn’t) and harbored disdain for his perceived enemies like Kushner and Ivanka, it was more a concern with having and retaining influence over the president.
Go read the files. I only shared a few of them. There are thousands and thousands of them. 4,500 just between Bannon and Epstein.
4500 files just between Bannon and Epstein does not sound like a “passing interest”.
I have said this from the beginning of war room that Steve reminds me of Ron Popiel info commercials, every ten minutes trying to sell you something. My favorite is when he has the gold guy on to explain the economy and the guy talks in circles. I dont mean to compare Ron because he was a marketing genius.
I’ve held back from making any conclusions regarding Bannon since I’m a daily listener/watcher of Warroom. However, it has gotten to the point where this cannot be ignored. Within Warroom world I’ve already opened my eyes to some contributors. Mike Davis is toxic and noxious. Not to be believed or trusted. I’m not so sure of Julie Kelly. Laura Loomer is interesting in that I think she stays in Susie Wiles good graces by never criticizing Bondi/Patel so you have to pick and choose what to believe.
I long ago distanced from Flynn and that side of the supposed pro Trump faction.
I’ve just gotten to the point where there’s no one to trust except my own instincts and intellect. I have to pick and choose my way through the media sphere. I’ve shed so many “conservative” podcasters there’s almost no one left. I’m waiting for anyone on RAV to discuss the elephant in the room. Still hasn’t happened.
Bannon became questionable, to me, when it was revealed he was leaking White House insider info to far-left publications back during Trump 45.
I think he did jail time as a way to get back to become an insider. To become trusted and get a foot in again (after that first fallout).
While I was never a Bannon “fan”, I never thought he was such a leper to MAGA.
“Through the years I didn’t really have much of an opinion of Steve Bannon, I approached any story of interest that surrounded him by simply looking at the factual details of the current event in question”
That’s such a polite way of saying it.
Let’s be honest, Bannon’s mask slipped YEARS ago.
It’s amazing how many people can’t see the game that is played by Tucker, Fox News, etc. etc.
Julie Kelly, Mike Davis, and John Solomon. I don’t trust those three. There may be more.
I’ve said before that Steve Bannon is Sean Hannity with bad hair and a rumpled wardrobe. A man with an inflated sense of self and a non-stop mouth. I never put a lot of stock in any of his “grand pronouncements.”
These revelations reveal way more about the real Steve Bannon.
Never in a million years did I think Bannon was part of Epstein’s universe. It appears that Bannon’s “affection” for Epstein was almost worshipful in nature. Financing The War Room with Epstein money is even more shocking.
More will come out in the days/weeks ahead. President Trump is pouring oceans of sunlight on The Swamp. May all truth be revealed.
The Swamp that DC has become, plus “elite” players, has become even more incestuous than one could ever imagine…ALL these people know each other, which explains a lot…like Skull and Bones on steroids. Time to root them out and excise the cancer.
(Bondi – like her or not, has clearly been working behind the scenes, and maybe some of her perceived ineptitude is a ploy – and maybe the IG post is AI baloney, but if true…wow! – – she showed up at that mess of what was supposed to be a standard oversight hearing with a DOJ document that tracked every member of Congress’s search history after giving every member their own login to the unredacted Epstein files. Yet what resulted was how every House Republican, and now Senators, went from not supporting the simple common sense SAVE Act… to becoming sponsors. If this is true, and these Rhino’s and Dems were scared straight, the rot is unfathomable.)
Ps. I agree with others positive assessments of Bannon, always found him insightful and fully MAGA, like a disheveled Charlie Kirk (RIP), who fully supported PDJT for office. He marches to his own drummer, best one can tell…which is admirable. Any ties to this Epstein idiocy (and evil, of course) may be like PDJT, coincidental, as the incestuous nature of politics has these people interacting all the time, something most of us have no clue or visibility what that truly means in the micro.
Over 4000 emails is not coincidental.
No, but these people live on social media and other forms of comm’s, it is their livelihood/brand push…so 4K emails may not be trivial but does not automatically scream ‘criminal activity’, which requires proof of lawlessness. Wasn’t being flippant, just not drawing conclusions quite yet. The man (Epstein) knew everyone at higher echelons, doesn’t automatically make all of them, or even half, or 1%…criminals.
Those involved have been circling the wagons for the past few years, especially now that things are being brought out into the light…watch what they do – the individuals that is – that’ll speak volumes. Bottom line: Nearly everything we are being presented is a lie with maybe a tiny thread of truth to make it sound plausible.
Jay Dyer’s commentary on Steve Bannon is centered on the idea of perception management. Dyer doesn’t view Bannon as a neutral journalist in this footage, but rather as a strategic “producer” attempting to facilitate a pivot for Epstein.
Dyer points out that the existence of this footage—which remained unreleased for years—suggests a “rebranding” project. Dyer references DMs and emails where the goal was to transform Epstein’s public image from a sex offender into a “misunderstood philanthropist” and a visionary polymath.
Dyer notes how Bannon’s questioning allows Epstein to sound like the “smartest guy in the room,” shifting the focus away from his crimes and toward his “indispensable” knowledge of the global financial system.
Dyer highlights that while Bannon is helping Epstein craft a public narrative, their private communications (revealed in the “Epstein Files”) show they were discussing more cynical topics, like how to profit from geopolitical chaos (e.g., the collapse of Ukraine or Somalia).
Even when Bannon pushes back (like questioning Epstein’s lack of “self-reflection” in the jail cell), Dyer sees this as a way to make the interview feel authentic.
strategic “producer”
Literally, at least 18 movie credits as producer, and Seinfeld.
I’ve tuned into Bannon’s W/R site on many occasions over the past few years; all of them pre-Epstein “current revelations” … and I must admit to siding with and agreeing with most of Bannon’s positions and those of many of his guests, MAGA or not. Not ALL of them, to be sure; just “most” …
But as I’m closing in on 80 years of “semi-useful consciousness” and have “been around the block” many, many times during those intervening years … one thing I learned early and often is:
“ALL MEN HAVE FEET OF CLAY … ”
And that has held true of my associations across a broad spectrum of folks in the USN, the commercial airlines, local, regional, and national politics, and working with “at least one” gov’t alphabet agency from back in the dark(er) recesses of my “professional” life …
People lie, cheat, and steal — usually for their own personal aggrandizement it seems — I experienced that early and often and it appears to be the way of the world. Some people are VERY good at it … they can even do it while conveying absolute sincerity and looking you straight in the eye … the trick is to be able to discern who/what/where and when that is the case, I suppose.
So as I get older (guaranteed) and wiser (?) … I find myself relying more and more on my own counsel and making my own decisions on a variety of issues …
I suppose you might say that most of my “heroes” are dead and gone … semi-sad, but true to a degree.
In all the DOJ releases of the Epstein files has anyone come seen a tax return filed by Epstein?
I am so tired of this Epstein thing. In a different world it would be significant. In this world we have big(ger) problems. The Democrats win with false stories and misinformation. This is fuel for that fire.
Thank you
Exactly.
“Complicated business”…..who to trust?
Jack Posobiec-reached out to me on Truth when I responded to a question he posed about the movie, ‘The Sound of Freedom‘. It was his official red check account. Within a few months, he asked if I wanted in on something dealing with bitcoin. I believed it was on the up-and-up since it was his official account. I lost over $8,000-should say it was stolen.
My heart is broken over how my country has been destroyed. We fell asleep at the wheel and were too busy/lazy to stop it. I feel like I have been screaming about this since I was a kid-I took what I learned to heart-but I’ve only been one voice, easily drowned out.
Well, we’re just whittling MAGA right down to a fine point.
I have learned a lot here at CTH over almost a decade and I am grateful. What I am learning now is this: We are in a circular firing squad, killing our own with no replacements.
Our trust in all our leadership is being eroded because of a few.
Soon, a house divided against itself cannot stand.
Conservative voters are feeling unmoored, already sitting out elections and it has had detrimental results. Has anyone noticed?
We have lost most of the special elections in the last year. We are down by 5-7 points in the generic polls for the mid-terms.
Trump is working his ass off to keep his promises and we are here, doing this. Man.
I’m not justifying anything. Bannon has done a lot of good for MAGA and he looks like a real back stabbing jerk in these files. But how ‘bout we take care of the main thing right now and use everybody we have to win the midterms. We need to be rallying the troops.
Then, we can focus on this.
If we lose the midterms, none of this matters.
“Julie Kelly, Mike Davis, Jack Posobiec, Lara Logan, John Solomon, Laura Loomer, Harmeet Dhillon and so many more. Did they know about this Bannon-Epstein network?”
Sundance, it is soul crushing to believe the likes of Lara Logan or Harmeet Dhillon would somehow be in the know. My gut tells me that, in fact, many folks we now look to in order to further the MAGA agenda probably DID know and did NOTHING. It makes every interview or appearance I’ve watched on “The War Room” with any of the forementioned, suspect.
As a citizen, voter, and Veteran, these revelations cause me to look at the many lives lost in the furtherance of our Republic and ask, how much longer will we allow the cesspool of Washington DC to further the destruction of our great nation…all in the name of vast wealth and power.
I recently moved from a leftist progressive hell hole to a red state, vowing to just breath again. These revelations make my blood boil.
That’s a good point – it’s one thing, if you didn’t know.
It’s another thing – if you knew (or very strongly suspected) and did
nothing.
If you just continued, ‘business as usual’ – then your conscience should be bothering you, big time.
Lara Logan has been putting her money where her mouth is, financing and making movies and interviews about sex trafficked minors. I don’t see value in casting aside anybody who’s ever been on the Warroom, which is almost all of MAGA.
If you believe polling, our base is already not enthusiastic.
I saw this with the J6 people, they went back 10 years and released all their private communications. How is this not a 4th Amendment issue?
What is going g to happen to RAV?
Agree that not buying into c-dems narratives ( to imply guilt by association…)
as Sundance wrote
‘ the relationship, with …Steve Bannon is not at the top of the issues of concern. ‘
Not even close.
( but the c-dems, lacking a public supported issue are after the divide and conquer tactic… critiquing each and every cabinet member…trying to winnow them out… )
e ( and his network ) …had a way of working inside and rubbing elbows and sometimes influencing people that wanted to be ‘in the know’ and with alot of people that were or are in the public eye.
There are millions of people like that – starting with high school cliques, clubs etc.
( with some people miss assuming the worst ) and we know what assume spells..
there are alot of people on the e list ( for a wide variety of reasons, some normal, some not )
that will be asked questions ( with some questions including an assumption ).
Again, some know what assume also spells.
Best not to go there without proof.
15 days of intense efforts to find proof in gunthrie.
30 days to find proof of M. Tibbets disappearance. The perp is in jail.
Sometimes there are cold cases.
E co-hort is in prison as she should be. Wants clemency to speak. To speak truth, or lies?
It is sad that people got lured, scammed into the wide e circle.
Many had no prior idea – at the time – what they getting next too.
Using the current known e history ( we do not all of it…we were not there) and convenient 20/20 hindsight to
critique someone that had any contact at all with e… ( for untold reason ) is not much better than
– the old Salem PA. witch hunts ( which took decades to get the miss accusers )
– or the hoax behind artic frost
– etc.
Some lose patience with fbi ‘investigations’ of which many have become dc obfuscations,
but
it is important that facts be quietly gathered and assembled in a legal way in order to bring forth an airtight case in court.
The court of public is only that – and it often temporary.
Public opinion changes over time, with illuminated facts – as accumulated truths get found and then revealed.
SD, thanks for your caring, important parts in helping people to informally gather
to seek the whole truths, over time. It is a positive difference maker for a healthy society – and helps to serve the Lord.
p.s.
As an aside, there are A LOT of people in the scam, fraud illegal business via phone calls, politics, emails etc.
As Grandpa said
‘ don’t take any wooden nickels ‘
Thess 5:21
The key is to be able to rationally sift a bit of fiction, or fake story telling, or innuendos, or wishful miss thinking
…from a verifiable string of facts.
Easier said than done.
A lot of people have experiences of being duped…
Some people learn from experiences…
We are made in God’s likeness.
Yet, No one person may be perfect…except the Lord…
yet, with various peoples different gifts from God,
together, united ( in the United States) we are stronger and as such we can help to become the best version of ourselves ( Matthew Kelly ) to continue to help to make this a better place – for others…
Ash Wednesday is coming… there are a lot 2000 year old experiences and lessons that can be learned from that, today… A lot… that apply everyday, today, and tomorrow…
People know…
…Faith and good works…
James 2:22
Love thy neighbors…
Imho
Every example you displayed of text communication has Bannon’s name on it, but the other person is redacted.
I haven’t read or opened all Bannon’s texts, but a fair number – all I read had the other person redacted. I also see a difference in spelling – some have quite a bit of misspelled words. That indicates to me Bannon was (perhaps) talking to at least 2 separate people.
One person types out “where are you” another types “where ru?” I find most people have typing habits that do not change. I am very picky about my sentences – I hate misspelled words and my punctuation has to be correct (or the best I can do).
I have not looked at emails… I need to look at all the texts first, then hit the emails.
I have to confess that this is eating away at me. I’ve been reading CTH almost daily since way back in 2018-19 and I started listening to Bannon right after the 2020 steal. I’ve seen the division between the two with Sundance sometimes criticizing Bannon. And I’ve agreed with many of Bannon’s positions, but disagreed on others, lately his soft pedaling on the antisemitism emerging within MAGA, as well as his disagreements with Trump on Iran and Venezuela.
But I still read CTH and I’m really torn about turning off War Room. There are so many good guests who bring a wealth of information, and Steve has been one of the strongest supporters of Trump on his show and one of the strongest voices in defense, and offense, on getting to the bottom of the 2020 steal. I don’t know how I replace that source.
I’m not yet ready to completely abandon him yet. But I’ll have my radar up. Also, I’m hearing some things that say we are not seeing reality in the Epstein/Bannon exchanges. But I don’t trust those sources yet.
I think Bannon has been very effective in many ways. What bothers me most, right now, is that he is not confronting this issue and addressing it head on. And those who have benefitted from the association, many I like to follow, are all silent. This is what is most disturbing to me…. the silence, especially from Bannon himself.
I will be watching to see what TPUSA and RAV do – if they distance themselves from Bannon… Bannon is showcased by both organizations.
I will be one of the many who continue to watch and be inspired by his support of Trump and MAGA. His actions are what count.
It’s politics and it’s all very dirty.
Just remember Sundance, it’s all in Gods hands.
He uses everyone for his own advantage and none of us can see what his plans are.
That’s the way I look at this and it’s the only thing that keeps me sane.
God bless.
