Through the years I didn’t really have much of an opinion of Steve Bannon, I approached any story of interest that surrounded him by simply looking at the factual details of the current event in question.
CTH well understood that Bannon, and subsequently his expressed opinion and objective, was simply an outcome of his position – downstream from the billionaire of the moment who paid him.
In essence, Steve Bannon always seemed to be, much like Kellyanne Conway, an advocate for whoever was financing him. From Robert/Rebekah Mercer at Breitbart forward to any endeavor thereafter, it always just appeared the same.
That said, with the release of the Epstein files, the relationship between Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Epstein is something CTH did not expect. {HERE} Bannon and Epstein were very close and talked to each other about seemingly everything.
I can never unsee what I have read. Nor will CTH ever entertain the possibility that Bannon was ever a good element within the MAGA effort. There is a solid argument to be made that the Bannon War Room was funded, or organized in the funding mechanisms, by Jeffrey Epstein. {HERE}
The files of messages between them contain some shocking stuff happening in the background while Steve Bannon was in very close proximity to candidate and President Trump. The level of disdain Bannon had for Donald Trump’s family and for Donald Trump himself is really something CTH did not expect to see. {examples: HERE and HERE}
I am left to wonder now how much of the vitriol against Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, ie. “Javanka hatred”, actually originated from the Braintrust behind Bannon and the assembly of people in his immediate orbit. {HERE}
Initially, I saw some Twitter accounts attempt to defend Steve Bannon by saying Epstein did all the talking in their text exchanges and Bannon was less communicative. However, that only applied to the first batches of files reviewed. As a few days went along and people started citing files, reading them gives a much more fulsome picture of the relationship.
Steve Bannon may have been focused on the financial gains and perhaps networks of people in his association with Epstein; but he certainly got deep into it and expressed extreme praise for Epstein, even going so far as to call him a god. {LINK} These were two men in a very close friendship. There is no political or ideological distance between Bannon and Epstein.
The level of expressed skullduggery that has been going on for years in the background is very unsettling to accept, and I say that as a person who doesn’t customarily get shocked by duplicity.
This is not about division; this is about something more akin to betrayal.
While putting on a MAGA face for the War Room broadcasts, in the background Bannon was actually plotting and advising of ways to eliminate Donald Trump from republican politics. This is Brutus level disloyalty, even accepting the guy has no moral compass other than his bank account. I can never unsee what has been seen.
There’s also some weird stuff in the exchanges about contextual things from years past. As an example, in one set of text messages Bannon and Epstein were discussing Patrick Byrne who is now part of the Emerald Robinson/Mike Flynn network. Bannon notes in 2018 that Byrne told him he was working for the CIA, and apparently Bannon did not believe him. {SOURCE}
This is the same November, 2018, message exchange where Epstein is advising Steve Bannon on how to set up a media network to maximize privacy, structure the financing and eliminate the problems with transparency. This is the origin of what would less than a year later become Bannon’s War Room on Real Voice America.
Did Jeffrey Epstein provide the seed capital to assist the start-up of Bannon’s War Room? That question isn’t clear, but sheesh, the creepy irony of the possibility is really over-the-top.
I guess in the big scheme of things, considering all of the potential creepy stuff that is far more consequential to the Epstein file release, the relationship with Steve Bannon is not at the top of the issues of concern. However, the reality of seeing this relationship and reading how much they both hated MAGA is just so darn deflating.
Trust lost can never be reestablished.

Now we reevaluate everyone who openly, frequently and willingly associated themselves with Steve Bannon on that “War Room” platform. Including: Julie Kelly, Mike Davis, Jack Posobiec, Lara Logan, John Solomon, Laura Loomer, Harmeet Dhillon and so many more. Did they know about this Bannon-Epstein network?
… and Kash Patel.

Ben never said any such thing. You’re misinterpreting his words in order to further your own agenda; which is obviously not to strengthen MAGA. Franklin was simply noting that it is the responsibility of every citizen to maintain our then newly formed Republic if it was to last.

The activity of pruning a plant may seem like a destructive past time to some. But it is essential to the growth of a healthy productive plant. Indeed it will extended the lifespan of the plant, and direct the finite energy into the more productive limbs. Trimming back good limbs causes them to grow stronger, ensuring a large crop of fruit will not break the branches.
Sucker branches are the worst. Those the grow at the base and consume precious energy that could have aided valuable growth elsewhere, but consume it without ever really producing anything. They look pretty and green like the others, but are ultimately useless.
We are not “eating our own”, we are in the process of pruning. And the earlier that is done the better for the overall health of the entire group.

I watch WarRoom and have felt there is something not right with Bannon for a while, (and his show pretty much sucks anymore) but what stands out to me even more is the X crew. Harping, harping, harping about Epstein files while Trump is making very big moves to realign and save our country and the world. Now that they have the files, it’s the same thing with Bannon. It’s Bannon, Bannon, Bannon!!! I’m not a great genius but it’s very easy to spot a manufactured trend on X. I have unfollowed alot of people over the last year (again). For a while this has reminded me of the primaries with how the DeSimps would just keep pushing, pushing, pushing the same narrative to its death. This feels bigger.
Not saying the Bannon thing is all narrative. We seem to be in a shift right now. After CK death, Bannon seems to have been trying to realign to the Glenn Beck, Ted Cruze faction. Alot of things seem to be going on behind the scenes.

I think Peter Navarro is on our side. He may be naive in the ways of backstabbing Washington DC, but he is MAGA in my humble opinion.
He was also very naive about the COVID scam in the early days. His familiarity with economic data gave him false confidence in evaluating the clinical data as it emerged on COVID. Put him and the nation in a bad position.
I think he would have been flabbergasted to know the information was made up, truncated or cherry-picked. Not sure he would have known the FDA was so sorry.
I’m an economist with training in econometrics and deep experience in analyzing clinical data (especially infectious disease data). Navarro applied basic statistical analysis to the initial data without asking pertinent questions. A competent and honest biostatistician would never have come to the conclusions he promoted, regardless of FDA & CDC corruption.
Seriously, how many of us realized that our country trained China’s BW expert to use a hard to see trick in GOF, got it released in China, and let China export it to the World.

Bannon was spot on on “warroom pandemic.”One has to evaluate actions in their totality, not in a vacuum.
They expected to use the pandemic under Hillary. Once Trump came along, yes part of its purpose was to remove him. And also to test the waters of compliance. It worked well enough that we should expect another attempt, perhaps with something more deadly.
Navarro also went to prison for four months to protect executive privilege, arrested at an airport with chains on his legs. A true MAGA warrior!
Navarro is the real deal. 15-20 years ago when I used to watch Fox Business, they would occasionally have him on. He has always spoken out against off shoring jobs and standing up for the people of the U.S. Fox presented him as the other viewpoint against globalism and didn’t give him much credence. Also, somehow Bannon seemed to get an easier stint in prison than Navarro.
He is really naive about some things. In his 2022 book – Taking back TRUMP’S AMERICA – page 334 he writes ” The boss should start by choosing a MAGA-sympatico VP as early as possible. Two who should lead the list include former secretary of state Mike Pompeo and Florida governor Ron DeSantis” – Two deep staters.
It will be interesting to hear his explanation today on War Room .

I doubt that he will deal with it. Virtually all political operators are whores and I suspect that Bannon is too. My CTJ moment with Bannon was COVID. Bannon exaggerated the threat at every opportunity and facilitated (perhaps unknowingly) the draconian lockdowns and vax mandates. He clearly is not a numbers guy despite his ballyhooed Wall Street background. Jack Maxey left in part over Bannon’s COVID idiocy. Maxey understood the clinical data and predicted as I did that COVID was a fake pandemic, no worse than a severe flu season. I saw in 2019 that COVID was a fraud, lost a job, and lots of friends over it. So I have mixed feelings about Bannon: He is something of a grifter, and like Trump seems a poor judge of character (Kash, Mike Davis, John Solomon for example). However spending millions on legal defense and going to jail on his part can’t be completely written off either.
Regarding Covid: I was one of the 3.000+ crowd sourced health care professionals who reviewed the Pfizer and Moderna raw medical records of subjects in the clinical trials. It was through the War Room show that I heard from Naomi Wolf that people like me were needed to volunteer for this project. I’m very grateful that I got to see first hand these medical records and how these two companies managed this important process with their human test subjects. it was stunning. I have been a long term fan of SKB for many years. Going back to the Breitbart days on the radio. To say that I’m disturbed would be a gross understatement.
Bannon did a course correction by giving Wolf a platform. However, there were many experienced biostatisticians with infectious disease experience who reached the same conclusions Maxey and I reached late in 2019 and early 2020. We were all slandered and often lost jobs because of our stance. I’ve followed SKB sporadically since 2015 when he was part of Trump’s early team. I have an open opinion about his motives and methods. We should all understand that a forceful voice and large platform can create the appearance of expertise where it is not present.

I think I will be as with many of them, listen with a skeptical ear only to garner what useful info is there. Not really all-in, on almost anyone anymore. But there can be usefulness in almost anyone. Thinking of certain guests and media or Congressional influence campaigns.

Cortes was a frequent contributor to Bannon’s WarRoom until he was hired as an advisor by the DeSantis Campaign in 2023 for the 2024 primaries. Bannon never personally criticized Cortes at the time, which was quite surprising, but maybe that’s because Bannon supported the move.
I think he doesnt want to burn bridges when future money may be involved. And, maybe Cortes’ move was just part of what goes on and nothing more than what Bannon does.

Bannon does do that – steer narrative – but often the “hang on” is to not bury the lead, to slow down and reiterate an important point that a guest is freight training past.
I’ve always found Sloppy Steve to be repulsive. Especially when he proclaimed constantly “when we take back the White House, we are going to do such and such thing”. I think much of his garbage was ascribed to Trump by his listeners after a while.

I have 1 Bannon story that maybe makes him a dual personality, but for sure entitles him a modicum of respect. It was 2016, last sunday before the election and Donald Trump was ready to go home. Steve entered the picture and convinced him to make 1 more appearance in Wisconson, in an airplane hangar. It went well and President Trump is on record as saying when he left that hangar that night, it was the first time he ever felt he could win. We all have a mountain we would love to climb, fame, fortune, freedom from our past, release from frustration, etc. My feeling is that Steve Bannon sees in President Trump a weakness to indulge people unqualified for the task at hand either by their actions or their words..

Bannon’s private life could be separate from his relationship with the Kelly, Davis, Logan, Loomer, Dhillon nexus, with these guests being political allies rather than confidants. I’ll go with that. Thank you for this – especially the comparison to others who “advocate for whoever was financing (him).” While my discomfort with the suspicion of anybody who operates like that is mostly instinctive, I always found it frustrating that Bannon sat on hours and hours of Epstein interviews while he and his highly emotional followers demanded the release from the DOJ. Bannon had info and names. Why didn’t HE release? Turns out he was planning a documentary so keeping Epstein in the news while protecting his own release of a potential Blockbuster increased his chances for a more substantial payday.
But apart from the obvious mercenary intent, I’m a little more disturbed that he may be fostering the antiSemetic antiIsrael sentiment that’s kind of exploding. Shockingly effective really whether or not you’re a fan of BeBe. Is this Bannon lighting another fire?

Regarding Q, I downloaded all the 4chan, 8chan and 8kun (?) data. Wound up being a couple of huge files.
Went back to look at the downloaded files again. Most of the links are broken and many photos are no longer linked. (Thankfully)
It was my first experience with the seedy underbelly of the swamp, or at least what was purported to be swamp-related.

Some of the photos linked were atrocious. Showing terrible activities with certain politicos. This was really before AI, but I’m sure photos could be altered.

Epstein was like a deadly virus, much worse than cancer or COVID, that infected and subsequently destroyed everyone he drew into his orbit. He was the devil on earth.
One of the insidious things about celebrity culture. Everybody knows everybody in “the in crowd” some are good, some are evil, some in between. But, they all hang out together, go to same parties, belong to the same clubs. Not everybody who had contact with Epstein is evil. However, he gained currency by being seen in every place where the “cool kids” hang out. First and foremost Epstein was and intelligence asset of at least three nations – the US, the UK and Israel. They used him not because he was brilliant but because he was corrupt and evil – a perfect fit for their systems. I am much more concerned about the relationships between Epstein world and the Barr family, the Bush family and the Clintons. Paying too much attention to Bannon is a distraction from the real power players. That is what they want.

I’m gonna agree here. I respect the take of Sundance, but I watch Bannon almost everyday for 2 hours at 10 AM one hour at 5 eastern time. His guests are impressive and their takes are all MAGA. I wish I could get a list of names of people he has on and gives extremely important information for President Trump and this movement on everything from economics to the Middle East. I will say, Steve is not a fan of what is happening in Iran because he was there at one point in his naval career. This is one of the few things he differs with the President on. The only thing that does bug me about Steve is that he wants things done yesterday and I believe that is because he knows another President Trump is not coming around again.
He has been down in Texas for weeks, making sure MAGA comes out and supports striking down Sharia Law there. Do we know here that is even happening? Has their been an article here about that? If it was so widespread, if the victims have any testimony, then why hasn’t an investigative reporter uncovered anything. MTG complained but didn’t produce facts. No affidavits, just “Someone needs to do Something”. If the victims have names to share, they need to share them. Where are the smoking guns?
