Apparently, Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Epstein had a considerable relationship together. Bannon is cited frequently in the 3 million+ Epstein files that were released by the DOJ.
Unfortunately, part of the document production includes text messages between Steve Bannon and an unknown individual. Within a segment of the text messages Bannon calls Jared Kusher “the idiot son-in-law,” and frames himself as more important that President Donald Trump who Bannon sees as “transitory.”
STEVE BANNON (SB) – “To do that shows that [Trump] is center of gravity of this movement and not me — will never do — they are transitory figures — the dc game is to succumb to that — it’s why I never did before joining campaign — I could have been the trump whisperer years ago — avoided on purpose”
This rather elevated sense of self-importance likely explains why Bannon was the source for Michael Wolf via leaks, and why President Trump seems to have kept distance from Mr. Bannon. However, people who walk the deep weeds of U.S. politics will also remember when Steve Bannon was the editor of Breitbart and together with financial owner Robert Mercer in 2015/2016 was backing Ted Cruz in the run-up to the 2016 election.
Both Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway were original political consultants and financial beneficiaries connected to the failed Ted Cruz presidential effort, before they abandoned the Cruz Crew and jumped aboard the MAGA movement.
The Cruz Crew has essentially morphed into the Ron DeSantis coalition and this superiority attitude expressed by Bannon is one of the key characteristics of the group we affectionately call the “alligator emojis.”
Perhaps the best two words to describe the brilliant political strategies of Steve Bannon are ‘Roy – Moore’.
I digress.
Trust your instincts folks, and always remember…. It’s ALWAYS about the money!

Huh? Why are these alleged text messages included in the Epstein files?
Why redact Epstein name if he was actually a participant in the exchange?
And if the redacted name is not Epstein, why is the exchange in the file?
Exactly – I do not trust this at all.
I really don’t care about anything that person ever said, wrote, or logged. He was a pervert, a child abuser, and a blackmailer. He “took a ride on the Orient Express,” and richly deserved it.
Good Morning Sundance, i wondered if you had read the new released Files thank you
Trust your instincts folks, and always remember…. It’s ALWAYS about the money!
Yep
Power and money
Money and power
When the government ‘releases’ files I always have more questions than not. Times were very different 10 short years ago and the corrupt forces were thick.
I have routinely listened to Bannon for five years now, and, while I know he is doing this for cash, I don’t think he has ever mentioned Cruz in a positive light the entire time.
What I do know is that Bannon covers information that Sodom on Potomac doesn’t like being made public, so…
I agree. I get more info from Bannon’s show than all other sources combined. Including Sundance.
Sundance gives me info no other source does but not the same volume as Bannon.
That said, I often disagree with Bannon’s opinion on many issues.
For most of the years before Trump was reinstalled, I listened to Bannon too much. I mostly agree with him on most issues. Since the election, I have tapered off a lot, preferring to listen to a few others less voluminous in video and in print like Sundance. When I have been perplexed by Bannon’s analysis of POTUS take on things, I check Sundance’s analysis. Inevitably, Sundance clears up the confusion. I especially needed reassurance with the Epstein files during MTG/Massie rout, then, during the Iran attack and finally during the Minneapolis retreat. I am learning to trust Trump’s judgment. He knows more about what we are dealing with than I do, than Bannon does, even than Sundance does.
The alligator swamp sure throws a lot of shade on right side politics.
Sundance is in an entirely different league than Bannon, that being said, I continue to remain a very active member of The War Room Posse.
We must not chase after any of the (seemingly endless), shiny objects within these documents, and keep our eyes on the prize. IMO, our republic’s survival depends on it!
This reminds me of the Clinton/DNC/Wikileaks revelations.
Back then, people learned what Clinton, Podesta, etc. really thought of their “friends” and political allies. It was a forced mask-drop that showed the Clinton/DNC machine to be hyperbolically more cynical than even the most rabidly anti-Clinton people believed.
Always hard to get the full context in a few text messages, but the cynical nature of the political class in this country never ceases to amaze.
I’ve said for YEARS that my approach in every political debate/issue is to assume the most cynical and self-serving outcome possible. I’ve never been disappointed by using this approach.
Amen. I have no more benefit of the doubts to give this bunch. Whenever you
SUSPECT them of doing something, they’ve already beat you to the punch.
The Assange leaks figured heavily in my opposition to anything from the Clinton’s peanut gallery, that and Benghazi.
What is the date of text messages?
Who is the anonymous participant in the back and forth?
This anonymous is “working on a security blanket for the family”.
I listen to SB most days. You can glean info from him.
June and July of 2018
Explains why bannon left and took off on his own— he knew there was a wall / he was toxic…
… now go get a haircut
Not surprising to me. I never cared for Bannon. He was always a slimy tabloid weasel looking for a bigger payday. Trump was right to kick his ass to the curb.
Bannon, a narcissist extraordinaire.
To leave all these messages in his triangulated life is super dumb.
are Steve ( public )
and Sundance ( anonymous )
related,
friends,
or the same person?
hmmm…
Sometimes it is good not to know – if both ( both are )
are helping we the people…
Love thy neughbors
Bannon does not write nearly so well as Sundance. They are miles apart.
Really!
NO
And yes, love thy neighbor. But that does not mean follow them into the pit of hell!
Thankfully,
both (or otherwise)
are helping people to seek the truths,
and along with many, many others (team work),
that helps to make this a better place that how we find it – for others.
…faith and good works…
James 2:22
…prove all things, hold fast to that which is good… (i.e. do not take any wooden nickels)
Thess 5:21
…be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might..
Eph 6:10
Love thy neighbors…
Not related, not friends and coming at the politics from very different viewpoints. I did not know Bannon/Kelly Ann were previously behind Cruz. It gives color.
I am glad both are solidly behind Trump. I do think Bannon figured massively in getting Trump re-elected because of his work with the precincts. That was a MAGA game changer.
But, Bannon is a political animal. Sundance is not. Sundance is a much deeper thinker and more analytical.
Wow. Bannon has a great show, WARROOM…I see he has clay feet…
This is from someone on X.
I think it is worth consideration.
“Let’s talk about Bannon…
I’m not here to support or prove anything, but with all the attention being put on the Bannon/Epstein situation, I think it’s prudent to step back and look at the big picture.
My HUNCH is that Bannon was in comms with Epstein as a mole. If you look at the Trump-Bannon-Epstein timeline below, it would seem that Trump and the DOJ are still favoring Bannon, even after these new files came to light.
Trump pardoned Bannon AFTER Epstein was long dead.
Now the DOJ is possibly going to dismiss his contempt charge – AFTER all the Epstien files about him are out.
Heck, just a few days ago, Trump posted a picture of Bannon and Navarro, SEEMINGLY praising them.
It stands to reason that anyone who SEEMINGLY was in cahoots with the world’s most renowned child abuser shouldn’t be afforded all these legal luxuries and positive attention…
Unless he earned them.
See what I’m saying?
Now I’m not a big Bannon fan, I don’t watch his show or engage in that corner of X… and he seems to need some hygiene coaching…but I’m not dead set on pinning him to the black hat map just yet – not without more investigation as to why he hooked up with Epstein after he resigned, only to be pardoned.
Perhaps he gathered the evidence we needed to “get Epstein” by publicly separating himself from Trump, ie plausible deniability.
Obviously, someone who wants to get in good graces with such an evil character like Epstein would have to play the game, and say what JE wanted to hear…
I mean, it’s not like he was a long time player…
And within about a year, Epstein was arrested and is dead.
What do you think? I’m open to thoughts and arguments.

I know the haters will spin this as if I’m supporting Bannon – I’m not. Let me make that clear.
And GTFOH with the spotlight theory… yes Trump does that but it’s not a valid argument, because it’s way overplayed.
I’m just looking at the big picture. These events don’t just string together randomly….”
“…publicly separating himself from Trump, ie plausible deniability…”
That thought occurred to me when it happened at the time. However, I did not connect it to any particular “mission” that Mr. Bannon would engage in after the public estrangement.
There’s also the fact that after 2020 Bannon was all we had to get out info about the stolen election. And he kept the Trump activists motivated and engaged. He may have wanted to be the center of gravity but realized by 2020 that without DJT there is no MAGA.
He also was the only one talking about Hunter’s laptop. Why I started watching him.
It’s possible that Bannon was a mole. He was pretty hard on Epstein in the interview.
I like Bannon. I watch War room, or at least the clips on Rumble, every day.
Well, it’s apparent I cannot trust anyone.
“I don’t trust anyone but you and me, and now I am beginning to worry about you.”
😂😂
“To do that shows that [Trump] is center of gravity of this movement and not me — will never do — they are transitory figures — the dc game is to succumb to that — it’s why I never did before joining campaign — I could have been the trump whisperer years ago — avoided on purpose”
This is what I think about Steve’s comment:
1) all Presidents are transitory (well, except it seems Obama – there is a big vacuum of brain power in the Democrat party – you can hear the suck.)
2) we all (we in the field – not in a political campaign) should take the attitude “we are all important to the cause and must continue to fight.
We all must understand the parts we play – Steve is much more effective as a somewhat outsider (he does meet with Trump occasionally to give input).
Sundance (and people like Sundance – those who analyze and report) are much more effective outside.
3) text messaging is not a robust way to communicate, so misrepresentation of meaning is rampant.
I find it curious and suspicious the person Bannon was communicating with is blocked out.
Makes you wonder . . . Did some corrupt FBI/DOJ lawyer find those texts, redact the other names, and insert them into the Epstein file release? Just to FU Bannon?
I don’t trust Steve Bannon, but I think these comments are unfair. Breitbart was totally pro-Donald Trump in the 2016 Primary against Ted Cruz. Number 2, Roy Moore lost when prominent Republicans, such as Mitt Romney and Mitch McConnell were rooting for him to lose. That is when the Drudge Report turned left and their site was full of anti-Roy Moore headlines.
yes…the rnc stabbed Moore in the back
Well, I only needed to scroll further down to see the Bannon revelations.
As I said in another thread, “This should end Bannon.”
How many other creeps are gracing alternative media.
So now the picture becomes clearer as to why Steve was fired the first time….
Can’t have two cock birds in the same hen house…..
Steve has a place in the movement…..
Just not in the White House…..
It seems to me that some people commenting (dissing) about Bannon have probably never watch his program. The comments don’t match the reality.
We need to stop eating our own. We have a country to save.
My view is that if Steve Bannon was willing to spend 4 months in the slammer for his President,( just like Peter Navarro), then he’s O.K. in my book. He performs a valuable service in the War Room. He’s not ingratiating himself with the Present’s staff, nor trying to influence public policy at the White House, where he only lasted the first year of the first term. His public speeches are well argued and erudite. With all the enemies PDJT has, why should Steve Bannon become one more? We are going to need him right where he is by mid-terms.
I also think that the Epstein business is a dead end. He was(is) a nasty piece of work, but his major crimes are the important ones involving his connections with Lex Wexler, the Royals, Jamie Dimon, and J.P. Morgan, not the Fantasy Island kind which we are forced to follow by the MSM. It’s wasting everyone’s time and no one important is going to jail for it. We should all be laser focused on election integrity in Atlanta, Georgia, Tina Peters in Colorado, and other sources where we will have to prove election fraud well before November 2026.
Thank you for that, Mark B. Smith. I like Steve Bannon. He is doing all he can to keep MAGA together and win the midterms.
I have watched SKB from the beginning everyday. I also watch Jack Posobic and The Charlie Kirk Show before and after.
The problem I have is that neither Bannon, Jack, Andrew and Blake have not said a word about this . It is Very Disturbing. We have been extremely loyal and he should have the decency to address We, the Warroom Posse!
What is the date of the exchange above?
It has to be prior to Epstein’s arrest/suicide on August 10, 2019… I say suicide with a smirk.
So this is Trump’s first term of office.
The reference to Chris Cristy is accurate …
It is important to remember those times were incredibly f’ed up. Jared may have been a big part of it – maybe Trump did have him doing things he should never have, but it got so insane I’m sure Trump knew he could at least trust Jared.
I asked this question about Bannon last week on the open thread here at the treehouse.
I searched His name in the files and a massive amount of these texts came up.
Many of the texts weee about how to make money off of Trumps decisions and what to invest in.
I also saw a text about some Steve Bannon dream team in the first Trump admin. Such as Pompeo and some others…
These people are all snakes and all they want is money.
They have no honor for their country.
The money is more important for them and to hell with our nation.
I take what “all” these people say with a grain of salt, and I suggest you all do the same.
On rereading this text string, it appears whoever Bannon was speaking to had something to do with Trump’s security… that’s why it’s redacted? Maybe someone currently in the Administration?
If this is so, why did Epstein have it? Did Epstein have it?
Very bizarre.
This whole conversation bothers me, especially since the person Bannon was conversing with is blocked.
I have a question:
Is Epstein included in the conversation?
If Epstein IS NOT INCLUDED, I have a different take:
This looks like Bannon was having a conversation with someone in the 1st Trump Administration (perhaps Secret Service?).
If it’s a private conversation between the two, how did Epstein get hold of it? Who sent it to him?
Could this be evidence Bannon’s phone was being monitored? Could this be a conversation sent to Epstein from Mossad? From the Brits? From the FBI? CIA?
Could some corrupt FBI/DOJ lawyer have salted them into the Epstein file release to f Bannon?
Never like Bannon, he is a grifter and a member of the muckraker’s party, the party platform, keep the septic tank stirred up and we can make money off the smell of corruption. The other part of the platform, I’m MAGA BUT!
How do you know Bannon is The Bannon?
That could easily be spoofed? No date, seems like Bannon was on some kind of research mission?
everyone leaves a trail. Sometimes people recognize where they are and veer from it. If you distrust everyone, where else can you go? Ya gotta start somewhere and if Bannon is corrupt, you’d think it would’ve showed up by now. He may have an ego bigger than some, but if having an ego disqualifies someone then we’re all disqualified
“To understand Steve Bannon—it’s obvious that these BETA simps can’t grasp that he’s prepared to sacrifice everything—and even be hated—to accomplish the mission. Tick tock.”

As a staunch supporter of President Trump and the MAGA movement, I’m proud to be part of the Treehouse and the War Room Posse. We need to stay focused on the mission at hand friends. Bannon, whatever he’s done/said in the past, is on the front lines twice a day rallying the posse to engage and pressure our representatives to further our agenda. Priceless analysis and research from Sundance and company combined with grassroots action is what this country desperately needs. Unite the clans! God bless America and our VSGPDJT 🇺🇸
Sundance – Steve Bannon speaks very highly of you. He says that he reads this site daily.
Sundance was on the Warroom with Bannon awhile back.
When was that? I missed it.
Didn’t Bannon through DJT Jr under the bus when Jr attended a meeting at Trump Tower that Hillary facilitated that included a Russian honeypot Natalia Veselnitskaya? Hillary organized Natalia’s entrance into the US and the meeting was supposed to be about the Magnitsky Act, the same subject they tripped General Flynn up on. But then she said she had dirt on Hillary. Jr ended the meeting when that was brought up but Hillary’s gang still stuck to their collusion narrative. Was Bannon working with Pence to oust Trump and get his people in?
In the run-up to 2016, before anybody was taking Donald Trump or Ben Carson seriously, I was a Cruz guy because he was the most serious, out-of-the-mainstream candidate. Maybe he ended up being THE Sea Island guy, but even if so there were MANY competing for their deep pocket love in the early running. Bannon rides upon a pure populism message which may lack the patience for an orderly transition into The Golden Age, if such is even possible, but he keeps his followers pushing forward with current marching orders in support of USA and Trump. For that he has become an indispensable General in the information war.
