Apparently, Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Epstein had a considerable relationship together. Bannon is cited frequently in the 3 million+ Epstein files that were released by the DOJ.
Unfortunately, part of the document production includes text messages between Steve Bannon and an unknown individual. Within a segment of the text messages Bannon calls Jared Kusher “the idiot son-in-law,” and frames himself as more important that President Donald Trump who Bannon sees as “transitory.”
STEVE BANNON (SB) – “To do that shows that [Trump] is center of gravity of this movement and not me — will never do — they are transitory figures — the dc game is to succumb to that — it’s why I never did before joining campaign — I could have been the trump whisperer years ago — avoided on purpose”
This rather elevated sense of self-importance likely explains why Bannon was the source for Michael Wolf via leaks, and why President Trump seems to have kept distance from Mr. Bannon. However, people who walk the deep weeds of U.S. politics will also remember when Steve Bannon was the editor of Breitbart and together with financial owner Robert Mercer in 2015/2016 was backing Ted Cruz in the run-up to the 2016 election.
Both Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway were original political consultants and financial beneficiaries connected to the failed Ted Cruz presidential effort, before they abandoned the Cruz Crew and jumped aboard the MAGA movement.
The Cruz Crew has essentially morphed into the Ron DeSantis coalition and this superiority attitude expressed by Bannon is one of the key characteristics of the group we affectionately call the “alligator emojis.”
Perhaps the best two words to describe the brilliant political strategies of Steve Bannon are ‘Roy – Moore’.
I digress.
Trust your instincts folks, and always remember…. It’s ALWAYS about the money!

Who is she thinking Trump wants him to flip on? The IC? The alligator crew? A shadowy benefactor(s)
Tom Luongo has been speculating that Bannon really works for the City of London aka Davos, to push a “Plan B” war.
If you were too smart to buy the Russia Russia Russia hoax, there needed to be a different offering of “the enemy” for you to bite on – and so Bannon was continually pushing China as our largest threat. If Americans couldn’t be talked into war with Russia, talk ’em into war with China. Just so long as the “let’s you and him fight” idea got traction – so the United States would be ruined and depopulated in the EU’s ginned up war.
Getting the US fully reconquered by the European powers was always the end goal. We were,in fact, 90 percent done for, after hundreds of years of DS efforts. Trump threatened to undo it all, so . . . they sent 100 different kinds of vipers, some of them wearing the appearance of white horses.
Luongo may be correct.
Although life is more complicated than that. China really is a threat, as is the Muslim Brotherhood. But it is not a monolith either. There are factions. Xi just finished wiping out whole sets of Red Princes, and also cleared out his military. In the meantime, he and Putin appear to be giving POTUS incredible breadth of unchecked action on the world stage. It’s almost like they agreed to a stand down on Venezuela, and Syria, and now Iran.
FWIW, I don’t think the Brits ever truly left Shanghai – they just melted into the shadows. They may have been cleared out now though. Perhaps.
Luongo is correct that wherever the Brits “left” they always left X and Anti-X. China and Taiwan. India and Pakistan. The US and Canada, etc.
They have a million flavors of koolaid, those inheritors of the British East India Company. Maybe Bannon is one of them.
In this level of fog, though, you never know who’s playing who. Certain figures are very difficult to pin down. Bannon is one of them.
Brits like to partition upon leaving, which leads to civil war.
CIA created South Vietnam and in a different way ran a Vietnamese civil war.
Ukraine is the current version. CIA will lose here to. But they can still win long term if they can pivot to somewhere else.
That is why CIA still needs to be cut up and “scattered to the wind”.
Agree that Russia and China are ready to respect spheres of influence and separate from post WW2 thinking.
MAGA
The Brits were definitely part of that partition, but they were not the ones withdrawing. Indochina was a French colony.
https://www.britannica.com/event/Geneva-Accords
Re “Agree that Russia and China are ready to respect spheres of influence and separate from post WW2 thinking.”
I disagree. They’re just willing to take one step backwards while preparing to take two steps forward. It has always been that way with Communists of all flavors.
This is probably pretty astute. The sad plight of the UK’s indigenous populations should tell us a lot. Perfidious Albion indeed.
Re “wherever the Brits “left” they always left X and Anti-X. China and Taiwan. India and Pakistan. The US and Canada, etc.
They have a million flavors of koolaid, those inheritors of the British East India Company. Maybe Bannon is one of them.”
I’ve long said two things…
America should never have allowed those colonists who were loyal to the King to remain here after the Revolution; because, odds are that many of today’s longtime hardcore anti-America liberals are their descendants.
I do not know if Bannon is one of them, though…
My grandfather fought in our Navy in WW1, born in Belize to a plantation owner. He had great admiration and respect for the Queen Mother, then, Queen Elizabeth. He was anti-booze, smoking, dice and gambling. He was pro silver and freshly baked bread. He had no tatoos. I never talked politics with him, but he never impressed me as a liberal. My mom was more liberal, but she raised to right wing girls.
Having watched Bannon daily……and I am certainly not as into “the weeds” as you are, Bannon daily pushes learning about the scam wall street titans and their economic game. Pushes China’s destruction, their roll and their endgame. He believes in an economic take down of China is preferable to a kinetic war. He is fiercely against the Ukraine War, Involvement with Israels wars. He is anti Cruz, Musk, Fox news, RINOs. and pro Sundance .One thing that is puzzling is he has a displeasure with the FBI, DOJ not going after the deep State and believes it should be a priority to prosecute them, but is careful to not mention Patel and Bondi whom he feels some loyalty to. Maybe he is a snake but don’t you have to be to play in the snake pit? Yes it is aggravating to have to listen to and watch his sponsors of the show constantly push their products but you have to make money to have the show funded, no?
If you listened to Bannon and the guests on his show, you would know that this is complete balderdash! Ben Harnwell is a regular and they constantly talk about the EU. He covers Davos more than anyone I know.
Great summary. I like Luongo too. He’s a recent add for me, after Sundance, then, Bannon.
If Bannon was first behind Cruz, then, Trump. It makes sense that he could be playing interference with the anti-China focus. On the other hand, part of MAGA is moving away from buying from China to making our own stuff. China is guilty of lots of infiltration, theft and bad acts. Still, with the abrupt changes Xi has made to retain power amid their second real estate crisis, Xi is in a scramble to maintain control. While he could use war to retain power, this seems less likely as Trump works with him on deals.
OTOH, if Bannon is not really MAGA, he plays the part magnificently.
THAT Would BE my Question – WHO ?
WITH ALMOST ALL – ” power players ”

I second the above!
ALL these messages are between Epstein and Bannon, proof:
https://kaburbank.substack.com/p/sloppy-doj-redactions-reveal-linked
Interesting. Thanks.
So for Fed and Treasury Epstein pushes “say hello to Snow White” Jes Staley, Larry ” I cheat with my grad student” Summers, rat Fink, and some guy named Schwartzman.
His whole stable, right there.
Its a good thing none of that went anywhere.
Here, friend, read this article carefully, despite where it’s printed, lots of information to the point it’s surprising and puzzling they let that at out at all… Note that every important point has a source reference in there[!]
https://jacobin.com/2025/12/epstein-bannon-trump-elite-populism
Well, he’s not wrong about Chris Christie, proving that even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Sure, but publicly he probably claimed Christy was the coming messiah. That how dems roll.
Bannon is and always has been a buffoon.
You are being super nice.
I liked him as a host/pundit on the Breitbart morning show. After he went into political maneuvering, I lost interest.
Steve Bannon is Sean Hannity with a bad haircut and rumpled wardrobe.
I’m amazed at the number of “disciples” he has.
Three-shirts Steve. Yikes. Calls into question all of his acolytes.
I look down on those who worry daily.. how to adorn themselves. As long as you are clean who cares?
Bannon is the “Bullwalk”.
He’s toast.
Trump super power: removing the masks.
If it wasn’t for those meddling MAGA kids and their darn Trump, he’d have gotten away with it too!
“If it wasn’t for those meddling MAGA kids and their darn Trump, he’d have gotten away with it too!”
Curses! Foiled again!
I never much cared for the man. After President Trump booted him, when I read anything printed about what he said concerning anything to do with President Trump it was with a boulder of salt.
Turns out my gut instincts were right.
Good Dog! All the Biscuits You Want!
Bannon is in it for Bannon and he’s not even that good at it. Big mouth bomb thrower is all he is
I’m not a big Bannon fan. In fairness, though, he went to jail to protect President Trump rather than testify to the J6 kangaroo committee. The other guy who went to jail for President Trump, Peter Navarro, had a similar opinion of Mr. Kushner, calling him Rasputin. I believe that’s a reference to a scheming, non-loyal backstabber.
I’m starting to think we are eating our own.
I couldn’t agree more. What is going on here?
Epstein seems to have been a kinda drug hsbit with so many people including trump. some seem to have indulged more than others.
Epstein had almost unlimited resources and circulated like oxygen. So many people were in some way associated with him or just one remove from it. Some of those people are very bad actors, but a lot of them were probably just within the orbit and got one of the many handouts he gave to bolster his credibility.
Epstein was a psychopath of the highest order.
“So many like Trump”
Nicely done! Short, subtle and seemingly sincere. You are a good little troll.
The actual quote is, “so many people including trump”.
Audaciouscat is not a troll.
It is true that people with private jets and lots of money end up in a lot of the same circles.
Look at any of the pics from these high society events going back decades and you see people rubbing elbows and taking pics next to each other. It’s how that world operates.
Having spent some time around a couple of the super wealthy, I admit my reservations about President Trump were a result of that exposure. These were people I wanted nowhere near me let alone with the power to run our nation.
It’s definitely a concern. Although it appears that SB has done himself some damage.
“Some”? Damage??
Feel the same. We need Steve in the game before these midterms. We NEED everyone in the game for these midterms and don’t even think we don’t. And he DOES get people participating, he’s a big voice. This is NOT the time for this at all😡
Real America’s Voice gave Charlie Kirk his show, which followed(follows) Warroom. Charlie Kirk is not here to give us his opinion, but he was following Bannon and getting the benefit of the Warroom audience.
Bannon is self serving as are many business people. He worked for Goldmsn-Sachs at one point. But I would rather have him on our side now than against us.
Perhaps it is financially to his advantage to be MAGA now and join the momentum swing, or he has become a believer. sigh.
I’m not well informed as many of you, but I think that the problem is that we considered the alligators as “our own”. They’re not.
Their goal is to dismantle MAGA.
I’m at the point where I don’t know what to think.
My world is changing too
“…………he went to jail to protect President Trump rather than testify to the J6 kangaroo committee.”
Or did he prefer sitting in jail for a short time vs having to reveal things he didn’t want exposed, that could have landed in in even more trouble? Saving his own arse by deflecting attention/publicity to the president? Not sure what else he’s been up to, but sitting in a jail for someone else is more involved than just doing your buddy a favor. Bannon is more than just a big mouth. He impresses me as someone who’s deep in the weeds of the D.C. swamp.
He’s an enigma to me, but I’m always cautious about what he says, as he seems a bit shifty.
Bannon went to jail to raise money.
Remember, Trump waived executive privilege and/or Bannon could have just simply refused to answer.
I come here daily because you are in the know. Kushner testified to the J6 kangaroo committee. He didn’t take one for the team, lending credence to Navarro’s depiction.
I had forgotten that. Thanks for the reminder, and I can see how what you say would be true. He did a great job of fooling a lot of us.
Navarro also went to prison. He also argued he was standing for executive privilege. Is he a big phony also?
No…
I had forgotten that. Thanks, Sundance.
Funny, I thought he scrambled to save his show and it was touch and go. His Posse hung in there to support. TPTB wanted his show destroyed. Hard way to raise money Sundance. I think Bannon is hard headed enough to want to make a point but that is just my opinion. He certainly has given you accolades.
Okay. Still, I thought you both were Breitbart disciples. What happened along the way? I tend to view your work and Bannon’s work, though not coming from the same place or against the same evils attacking this country, as leading to saving and strengthening our Constitutional Republic, just as I view Trump’s actions in the same vein.
As I was going to graduate from college and enter the Navy, my great aunt, Anne, knew I wanted to fly in the service; she also knew I was going out with a young lady and looking ahead to engagement. She decided to write a letter to me, a drawing of a two engine aircraft included, with some sound advice: “an airplane flys best when both engines are turning in the same direction”. Extending that advice, if one engine is shut down, you have to adjust airspeed and/or altitude to give yourself either best range or best endurance…the decision is yours.
Agree, 4DB. My two top problems with ‘President Trump 1.0’ are (1) Ivanka/Kushner, and (2) Covid19.
These two concerns still linger in ‘President Trump 2.0’ and are compounded by so much DC smoke, it is hard to decipher a write up the who-dunnit report.
SQ, I have mixed feelings on Kushner. At first I was pleased when it was reported that they would distance themselves from Trump 2.0. But, recently, I was impressed with Kushner’s diplomatic skills when Sundance posted the announcement of President Trump’s Board of Peace in Gaza. Kushner clearly was intimately involved in putting the players together and realistic about the hard work ahead. So I’m going to give him great credit on that. He also has been working tirelessly on ending the Ukraine proxy war.
People can change. Look at Marco Rubio, the most-impressive Sect. of State in my lifetime. Here’s hoping Mr. Bannon has changed.
I very much appreciate the positive view. However, there is zero transparency into the changed behavior of these political characters. I am too jaded to think politics have our American hearts beating bright red.
Little Marko (will be) is running for POTUS. I wouldn’t put much trust into foam boi. Especially considering Trump’s abysmal record on choosing personnel.
Jared has a fabulous future as czar of Ukraine after he gets Russkies ejected ( not likely ) and czar of the Gaza Riviera. Quite the lucrative gig: JARED FIRST!
I’m curious, what’s the problem with Jared Kushner now?
Everything.
Actually, Bannon wasn’t protecting DJT, he insisted he was protecting Executive Privilege.
I listened to him every day at that time…he was convincing about his support for MAGA and DJT. There were also great guests on his show, like Scott Bessent.
I suspect he is done for. Don’t see how he can survive this.
Sundance’s post below stands a a correction to my statement. I had forgotten that DJT waived ex privilege.
Uh oh… Scott Bessent?
“Leaked emails from former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak document how his ‘Cogito/Ergo/Sum’ trio of companies wove together a Manhattan PI firm, Soros Fund, Scott Bessent, and Jeffrey Epstein.”
https://jackpoulson.substack.com/p/ehud-barak-scott-bessent-cogito-ergo-sum
Looks like the TPTB are well on their way to destroy MAGA. Snakes, all of them.
Not really, MAGA is us, not any of those scum. They are in some kind of failure mode right now, too many of us know and more are questioning things and coming to better conclusions…
Always consider those who want to destroy him and why.
I think he’ll survive through President Trump’s second term. He has some good guests worth listening to… Once President Trump is out of office, his podcast will slowly die… I don’t believe JD Vance has the presence and draw anywhere near what Trump’s has to pull in an audience for Bannon’s Warroom podcast.
Excellent post! 🙂
“he went to jail to protect President Trump rather, he was protecting himself.”
There corrected it for you.
From what I remember, President Trump pardon was on the “We Build the Wall” fiasco.
Certainly Jared is all in on JARED FIRST; and will use any stepstool he can locate to accomplish his goal.
Pfft that was atoning for his sins committed against Trump. He wants back in the circle so bad
Bannon is the one who promoted and spotlighted many in PTs economic team well before they were chosen. For that I give Bannon credit.
Bannon didn’t want to testify before congress because he was scared of where the questioning would have led. Easy to do a few months in jail verses years!
I fell for the Bannon fake, and I have been following this shit-long awareness program for more than a decade.
Here’s the rub which hurts the most and begs the question… if Bannon is a dark force, which of his besties are also blackened lava that ran amok? Posobiec, TPUSA, etc.
Isaac Kappy accused Posobiec, and Posobiec got a white binder too as I recall, but damn . . . he’s one of my favorite flavors. We all got ’em.
That would be a real shame.
A certain letter of the alphabet outed Posobiec as well. Mossad connection if I remember correctly.
Yes.
0.o
First, Charlie Kirk had the worst political instincts in the history of mankind. Of course, he was only in his 20’s so what do you expect. He wasn’t MAGA in any sense of the word.
TPUSA attracted all the grifters after Charlies death: Posobiec, Tucker, Glen Beck to name a few.
Bannon’s evil empire includes: blondi, ka$h, john solomon, julie kelly, and the Article III guy.
Bannon is not a fan of Bondi or Kash.
Nobody has done more reporting on J6 and Jack Smith than Julie Kelly.
“The Article III Guy” is great at explaining the law to we lesser mortals.
In the end Trump will sell us out to Wall Street and the Tech Bros for a Nobel Prize.
In the meantime let’s save the Republic by any means.
👎
Kash Patel was one of Bannon’s most frequent guests on War Room serving as co host on certain segments. And he was one of the alternating hosts of War Room when Bannon was in prison
now I have to push back on Julie Kelly being added to a list of “evil empire”. That’s just nonsense. She’s done fantastic work.
what next…accusing Tom Fitton of working for the other side too?
come on.
God Bless America
Yes, I agree, regitiger. Julie Kelly was a steadfast digger on the J6 travesty.
Careful…Bannon has to support Solomon, that is his Real Americas Voice loyalty. They are trying to build an alternative to FOX. Yes there are some questionable things going on at TPUSA that I dont think CK would approve of. Bannon has been very critical of the FBI and DOJ and yes he is careful not to mention Patel and Bondi by name. He is walking a fine line when it comes to that.
You’re wrong about Jack Posobiec, he has been involved in TPUSA well before Kirk’s assassination.
Looks like whoever is demonizing Bannon is casting a wide net. Tearing MAGA apart?
Bannon demonized himself by being an apparatchik of the Epstein Network, trying to torpedo Pres. Trump and take over the “Tea Party/MAGA” movement and drive it further into the filth, etc.
Kindly read this entire article very carefully and note particularly the myriad truthful, objective facts [meticulously cross referenced to sources, by the way], and come to conclusions:
https://jacobin.com/2025/12/epstein-bannon-trump-elite-populism
It isn’t so much (Bannon’s) loyalty to a man (Trump). It’s loyalty to an idea. But what idea?
Kind of like MTG who felt disillusioned by Trump. After Bannon’s ouster, his ego (and ideas) were bruised ? But Epstein=$$$.
Without faith and obedience to God, our Nation is of no use to the heavenly Father.
It is our duty to fight evil, even in the face of defeat, being circumspect but not disillusioned. Trump and Bannon are only men. We must put our faith and confidence in God alone!
MTG walked herself off the field in a huff. Rather than put in the work and be steady, she humiliated here self and everyone who believed she was a fighter. Turns out, like bongino. She was not made of the right stuff. and that’s putting it nicely. Maga had room for MTG…likewise, Bongo could have just stuck with the program and actually done some actual work. But this entire fiasco that both created because they could not have their own way, that the job and the agenda changed and their pet projects could not be satisfied. Well…that’s revealing. You are a public servant, selected by President Trump to perform the executive agenda. Period. If you don’t like that, then you take it up with THE BOSS. You don’t go out and make an ass of yourself and try to make this a problem created by President Trump. No, you own your decisions and that’s that.
I don’t miss either of them. They had an awesome opportunity to become so much more and be a part of what I consider to be the most profound shift in politics and economic prosperity for the United States. And they could have laid claim…I helped do that. But no…both are cowards and put their mess kit in the street for everyone to notice. Not how you do things. No matter what President you work under.
God Bless America
On the other hand. If you came in to save America and thought you would see fires burning and enemies lying in heaps on Day 1, or at least in jail but then see that outcome is no longer the priority, you might feel a little “miffed” and betrayed and leave. Millions of MAGA are not happy with the new, “kinder & gentler” and foreign centered Trump priorities. And I’m one of them.
Another talking head that does nothing, no real career, just pretends he’s a political, national and global affairs expert. He’s fat John Kerry.
Are you referring to Steve Bannon? After serving as a Naval officer, Bannon attended Harvard Business School, earned an MBA and then was an Investment Banker at Goldman Sachs, worked in the entertainment industry and opened his own boutique entertainment industry investment banking firm, Bannon & Co. Bannon advised Westinghouse on the sale of Castlerock to Ted Turner and as payment accepted partial syndication rights to five shows including Seinfeld, at the time in its 3rd season. Those rights were a goldmine. Bannon is a multi millionaire and it doesn’t appear he has the most lavish lifestyle. And he’s served as producer, executive producer, or writer-director on numerous movie and television productions.
All these achievements make the Bannon/Epstein relationship especially disappointing.
I have a fun time on WarRoom Chat being the WarRoom Contrarian. Have to say I have only been blocked a few times and always let back in.
Bannon has taken all the Epstein Heat on Chat but hasn’t commented.
Been my morning go to right after The Treehouse. Listen off and on. Fortunately, as I always tell my family and friends, “Grain of salt… Always take what you are listening to with a grain of salt”. Just damn… Hook, line and sinker… Thanks for the heads up Sundance.
What did those text actually reveal about Bannon…he has a big ego and dislikes Jared? All of us here dislike Jared and our President has a big ego? So what is really behind trying to take Bannon down? These conservative talking heads are in fierce competition for the $$$
I suspect he hopes that by ignoring the talk, it will all blow over. He has so many connections or maybe just seems to.
Well shit… (sorry, but that’s all I got right now…) Delete if necessary, I will understand…
Steve Bannon did go to prison rather than submit to an illegal subpeona to get Trump. There is that one thing.
And it’s not a small thing.
And Bannon stood up a top show and then a national MAGA posse to fiercely defend Trump after the stolen election in 2020. That was something 🇺🇸.
Remember Roger Stone, Trump’s friend who had his house raided in the early morning when they arrested him for not turning against Trump? Bannon sold him down the river trying to score points with the Mueller farce.
And Roger seems to really be sore about it, too.
Bannon was out front and took the slings and arrows after the 2020 steal to keep MAGA relevant and held together.
Not correct
In what way is lindak not correct? As I recall Bannon did not show up for the J6 hearing based on protecting Trump’s executive privilege. And then he was prosecuted and served 3 or 4 months in prison.
Ulterior motives maybe? What else, besides dirt on Trump, could that subpoena possibly uncover?
Bannon will always betray others for convenience. He is calculating and will associate with people if he can get personal gain from said association. Then discard the associate like yesterdays newspaper if it doesn’t help him. Bannon views power as a game and victims as pawns. He’s met his match in Trump.
Trump boot stomped Bannon that’s for sure.
That’s my opinion of SB, too. But I don’t think Trump is fooled even one little bit.
Trump is just making sure he is pardoned, figure that in…
I think everyone is playing their parts in this movie, a mixed review, in my mind. I imagine one of these days President Trump will give the Siskel & Ebert review.
I can hardly stand it.
Sociopath = Bannon = most politicians, especially democraps and rinos.
All JYO.
Bannon and Navarro took bad legal advice. They could have testified and said nothing. You don’t gt points for being stupid.
Not so sure about that.
Well, he sure is projecting full MAGA now. He did go to prison for it. Maybe that changed his tune.
I’ve been tuning in lately and I haven’t heard any more criticism than I’ve heard here. In fact, just the opposite. I can think of a few on the current team that are really MAGA.
I think there is probably a lot of arrogance and jockeying at that level of politics, but he seems to be helping now. Maybe that’s the reason PDJT asked for the action on his conviction.
Then I want to hear it ALL from him, and NO BS!!! No sugar coating. THE TRUTH!!!
I meant really “not” MAGA
Frankly, I am more concerned with the treasonous Republicans who have a vote and can change things that are refusing to do so. Now I am hearing that the “Save Act” is dead. They refuse do even do the talking filibuster.
Let’s put our energy on the more important things. If the elections integrity does not get fixed it’s over anyway! Do you really Trust Bondi and Patel to get this done?
Bannon has been all over that.
Not accurate
Really, I’ve heard it on his broadcast.
Something more concrete that you know about and can’t say? Starting to feel like there is more to this, maybe something personal.
“Really, I’ve heard it on his broadcast.”
Consider the source?
What? Gees!
Yes, he actually was following, and was discussing the Save Act.
What is the “source” you are alluding to?
If you think there are hidden motives that I don’t see, point them out with a stated “source”.
He may be bad news, hell, I’m still on the fence with Musk, but he has contributed at lot of money that helped.
What I have been hearing lately from Bannon is backing Trump. I guess time will tell.
I do not trust Musk. He did good for the country with his DOGE team, SpaceX, etc. But, Musk comes from a dark family and he has professed some dark beliefs. It may just be self-preservation given all the Tech Bros are supporting Trump.
McConnell lackey John Thune said today that he will not change the rule back to the “talking” filibuster. As result, he said, there are not 60 votes in the Senate to pass the “Save America Act”. This is why I standby my “user” name on this website.
I guess that’s what happens when there are a few dozen overt decepticons, another few dozen stealth ones, maybe can count on one hand the good ones.
And on the House side roughly 200-20 – at best – against MAGA.
Congress and IC are the problem – they will fail and do nothing, Trump will be blamed, and the public will be pushed to vote Dem to fix it. Rinse, repeat.
Please tell us more…….What forms your opinion?
Now, being reminded that President Trump WAIVED executive privilege, and Bannon could have testified, shows Bannon slinging his poop all over the place, putting in the minds of people that Bannon was protecting something nefarious with President Trump.
I didn’t see this, I didn’t connect the dots.
I am not as smart as I thought I was. Damn it!
I’ve been saying Bannon has been a slime ball a long time.
Steve Bannon supported Ron DeSantis and later RFK jr. for the 2024 presidential election.
He didn’t hide it and now again he’s part of the ‘divide the MAGA voters’ pseudo conservative crowd so the Demoncrats can win in 2026 and 2028.
You know who we can trust? Our faith in God.
Uh, no he did not. In fact, Steve Cortes who did support DeSantis was gone from the show for about a year. He also did not support RFK Jr. for President. You don’t know what you’re talking about
You are correct. He said Cortes would never set foot on his show again after he jumped ship to campaign for DeSantis. But he later forgave him.
Same with John Fredricks. He’s back on from time to time
Agree 100%, Bannon was always Trump 24, of course he would strategize about a second option if the voters turned on then candidate Trump in the primary season. I remember when he announced Cortes had been bounce due to going to Camp DeSantis.
Rush, to his eternal shame, supported Cruz and not Trump at the beginning.
I followed Rush.
No no.Bannon was full on for Trump ‘24 from 20 January 2021.
No, he never did. Where are you people getting this from?
You statement is BS…..you don’t watch his show enough to form that opinion.
Do you listen to the show ever?
Wrong and wrong
I’m not the biggest fan, but I think that Bannon may be making a half-ass reference to a Calvin Coolidge quote: “We draw our Presidents from the people. It is a wholesome thing for them to return to the people. I came from them. I wish to be one of them again.”
Until Clinton and especially Obama arrived on the scene and wished to remain the Marionette-in-Chief after their presidential term had concluded, that is what most ex-presidents did. They retired with dignity and were largely transitory figures, with precious few of them making a lasting impact on the country.
Of course, I could be wrong and frequently am. -lol
Never liked or listened to him. I’m glad the turd is finally being flushed.
Funny how people that never listened to him, never liked him. LOL
His “pod cast” crap was what I was specifically talking about. He’s just another Klingon. Kling on to MAGA for some quick cash.
I will admit this info on Bannon is somewhat surprising. I am astounded at the reach of this guy Epstein!! This man was seemingly the center of the known universe while alive!! Satan clearly had a firm hold on him it seems. I welcome the Epstein files as they will help bring about a cleansing of current political/professional/entertainment/academic/media worlds.
I keep on praying for God to have mercy on Trump and his current team-to guide them to deeper faith and conversion along with discernment.
Bannon was the White House leaker in 2017.
I would like to know the dates on those text messages. Eppy died 08/2019. I take a wait and see attitude.
Did he?
I don’t follow/watch any of the podcast things, whatever Steve Bannon et al political shows are. I just see the snips here. Has Steve Bannon been unusually jittery since the latest batch of Epstein stuff has come out?
Yesterday 021026 he seemed a bit subdued. The WR Chat had many attackers.
No.
While Trump is probably still mad at Massie and Green, I’m curious if the very public back and forth drama between all of these was a sort of carrot to the media and larger population to keep requesting info?
I don’t know if a correct comparison, but a sort of Brer Rabbit in the briar patch set up.
Sloppy Steve. I will not forget what he did with pushing to get Bob Good re-elected who was a closet snake and never Trumper. Rep. John McGuire, former Navy Seal, who beat Good and Trump endorsed has turned out to be one of the best Reps. in Virginia and is strong pro-Trump. Bannon was relentless and telling lies daily about Good and McGuire.
bannon has always made my spidey sense tingle, hence, have never watched or listened to any of his productions
add to this he is constantly promoted by citizen free press (drudge 2.0)…
need anyone know more?
CFP is annoying because his links are click bait a lot of the time and he has multiple links to the same article to boost his page views. His choices for content are mediocre.
The worst are The Liberty Daily and The Gateway Pundit for using downright lies for their links and article titles. RedState and Breitbart have too many racists in the comment section.
CFP gets a whole lot of their material from Drudge. He just writes his own headline and posts links already on Drudge.
Gateway Pundit usually has the whole layout right there and no useless having to click away to The Hill, or Politico, or New York Times, etc.
.@elonmusk certainly turned out to be right about Steve Bannon.

I’m really confused getting so deep in the weeds. I thought Bannon was one of the main reasons Trump’s campaign did so well in 2016? I followed the war room daily until it wore thin. Now I find out he’s a traitor within? I don’t understand. Of course I quit listening to him a few years back…Why is this in the Epstein files..Im not connecting dots??
The texts (dates?) indicate Bannon expected Trump to get crushed, but Bannon would then be around to continue to be a player in the MAGA crowd with Trump well out of the way.
Which means he wasn’t read in, at all, on the un-hack of the Florida hack that resulted in the 2016 win. He was compartmentalized out of the true action, the shadow war. He may or may not have known about Dominion. I doubt it. I think he just thought the machine would be too powerful to overcome.
MAGA sheep and Bannon well placed to herd them?
Is there footage of Bannon on election night 2016? Does he look stunned, confused, or uncertain?
I know POTUS was a little overcome, like he was standing there taking in the fact that he and the people who promised him a fair vote had just won the biggest dice roll of his life.
Was Bannon equally relieved and gratified?
The point you raise is interesting about Bannon not being near the real action. Honestly, after everything Bannon did trying to sabotage President Trump and raise up Cruz during the primaries, I was surprised President Trump let him anywhere near the White House.
Bannon got a position in the 1.0 White House and started massive infighting. Through ugly leaks. Lost to Kushner et al and was booted.
There was an analysis back then that Bannon wanted chaos.
And yet after this private scheming to throw Trump in jail, Bannon was publicly supporting Trump in 2020.
The wierd thing to me isn’t that Bannon plays the snake. It is the amnesia that afflicts Bannon supporters.
I see it in Tucker supporters too.
After each offense, and there are many, just slip back into the support mode and all offenses are forgotten.
It is like the Snake story except the last bite wasn’t fatal, so we have to help out the snake again.
And again.
Bread and circuses. I never watched either Bannon or Tucker. Nor did I care for fox news. I didn’t watch Rush either.
At the time there were so many obnoxious voices booming over the airwaves and I avoid noisy people.. Bannon, Imus, Stern and yes, even Rush. Not interested.
I just don’t tend to be a follower. In any case, there is only One leader that has ever commanded my full attention.
Back to those booming voices: Calm down. Talk to us like we’re adults. Their bellicose demeanors insult our intelligence.
I actually tried, out of sheer curiosity, to find out exactly what one poster had found so compelling about “sloppy” Steve Bannon. I never got a clear answer, but I walked the desert for a year for my trouble.
So Bannon *was* a poser after all is said and done? I’m glad we’re all caught up now.
I began to have doubts about Bannon when he brought “Big MAGA” supporter Steve Cortes back on his show recently after Cortes endorsed DeSantis in the 2024 Republican primary. Very sketchy!
Shortly after? LOL It was only recently. You people are too funny.
Yeah, I haven’t forgot how liberal Jared and Ivanka were always getting in the way of MAGA.
Jared isn’t an idiot, he’s just driven by shekels.
I have never liked Bannon since all the Breitbart hits on President Trump and the coverage heavily leaning Cruz. But Whisky-Tango-Foxtrot! What is being exposed shows him to be far worse than an ego driven idiot.
Bannon is definitely a puzzle. I tuned into his show everyday since war room began. I have not listened to him so much lately. He worked so hard to get President Trump elected after President Trump won the primary. I would never have believed he had previously sunk so low.
How can a person trust the man after reading those texts. I now have to reexamine my perception that he was definitely pro President Trump. Even to the point of insisting that President Trump should run again in 2028. I maybe can see that as a move toward a pardon. His motives are now suspect.
I wonder how Bannon will handle the revelations of his apparent duplicity, especially since DoJ is moving to have his conviction removed. He really does have to address this issue.
Having stated all of my concerns, I have to say his guests were awesome and many have turned out to be stellar cabinet members. Other guests were so instrumental in getting the vote out in 2024 and getting President Trump elected.
This whole affair saddens me greatly.
What you wrote reflects so much of my perspective.
I did stop being a WR regular when SB was second-guess DJT on the Iran situation last summer; and there was something about his approach on Israel and Netanyahu that bothered me. Now I listen to clips on rare occasion.
I totally agree with you FHPO. I also watched the War Room daily. Steve Bannon’s guests and his ability to draw on history were enlightening.
However, I was disturbed by his attacks on “ Tel Aviv” Levin; and the drum beat against Netenyahu became tiresome and felt to me quite nasty.
I have felt a change in Tucker, Owens, Bannon, and event Joe Rogan since Charlie Kirk was murdered. It’s as if the whole conservative communications structure has shifted and become less reliable, more negative, and less reliable.
I too would like to see the dates on these messages. I no longer listen to Tucker or Candace Owens I will turn on the War Room if I’m home, but I’m no longer a devoted viewer. I simply lost interest ~
I hope Steve Bannon will take a segment of his show and devote the full two hours explaining to us what all these messages mean is like to hear from him directly.
The assassination of Kirk was a message to all of the rest of them. Thune not pushing the SAVE Act is another message. Those messages are being received.
I tune in regularly, but not always listen to the end…. I want to hear what some of these guests have to say. I am on gettr, as there are many good posts and good people that are MAGA and posting…. they may or may not be Bannon fans as it’s rare to never he’s even mentioned….
Bannon has described in great lengths how HE, and only HE, saved the Trump candidacy in August/Sept 2016 when one of the ‘scandals’ took off in the media. According to Bannon, _everyone_ told Trump to drop out of the election but that HE, and only HE, told Trump to stay in the race.
Then, he does think he is the leader of MAGA and says almost daily that Trump transitory. I agree with Bannon on this point. Trump will be gone. The democrats will boot stomp Vance into mulch for sure. The democrat blow-back on the US will be epic and could lead to a break-up.
Then, he also thinks he is the LEADER of the anti-China cabal.
Bannon was the White House leaker in 2017 and attacked all the Trump children during that time period.
Then Bannon has a parade of losers on his show like John Solomon, Julie Kelly, and Mike Davis (May 2025 – there will be 100-200 indictments of the deep state). All of whom have tremendous ego’s with very little to show for it. He loves Blondi and Ka$h and never criticizes them even when Bannon has guests, like the Judicial Watch guy, who tells Bannon that Blondi and Ka$h are trash.
Bannon is always hard sellling Gold on his show like a carnival barker. Very slimy.
I still watch his show on tape display and just fast forward past the questionable stuff.
I like Julie Kelly. What has she done wrong?
That’s why you have the mute button… once that crap starts I mute and leave the room or even turn it off.
Another irritating ad, title theft protection – it’s a scam… If you do get your title stolen, they will not do anything for you – no investigating, no help with attorney fees – & on the off chance they learn your title was stolen… they’ll notify you, hey, your title was stolen as they collect your month fee.
I think that is a scam. If you freeze your credit with the 3 now 4 credit agencies, no one can take out a loan in your name with or without collateral. I think the Delete Me is not as much of a scam except that the internet is forever.
I feel so vindicated for being the lone voice here once regarding the “Bannon Wagon” [2020] everyone was on
i tried to tell y’ll bannon was a bad ombre….I took a ton of heat here (same with DeSantis once upon a time)…… sigh
IT FEELS SO GOOD to see he is finally exposed as the Rat on the MAGA train as will others be – The Big Ugly has just begun
I also went so far in smashing that drunk, stinking pig on here, but I posted a few Pres. Trump quotes about him (“Sloppy Steve”, etc.) and people stopped whining.
And it’s confirmed that Pickled Stink Pig Steve was the one who leaked all that slander to Michael Wolff for his book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House”, we now know how close the dirtbag Bannon was with Epstein, and look at this:
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/11/14/epstein-emails-with-author-wolff-raise-journalism-ethics-questions-experts
Al-Jazeera and ethics??
haaaaa…
Al-Jazeera is a disgusting cesspool, but at least it printed clear, unambiguous, well sourced and linked FACTS in the linked article that accurately depicted Dirty Drunk Sloppy Steve’s stumbling scumbaggery – unlike Faux News or Breitfart, for example…
So, refute the documented facts in that article if you can, thanks.
[Side note: Starting at about 0300 on 7 Oct 2023 EMT, Al-Jazeera [Arabic] was the only media outlet that showed a wide variety of continuous, unedited, live-stream videos from “bodycams” of the subhuman zombie nazi hordes swarming Israel, and showing explicitly exactly what was going on, besides some sporadic features on Telegram, Twitter and Facebook[!] – so yeah, good thing everybody ignored Al-Jazeera…]
Not everyone. Indeed, I remember it well, never personally watched or listened to him. A good handful here were rabid fans. Those folks got nasty at any questioning of their guy. Never followed any of the influencers. Never watched FOX. Or Tucker. bunch of opportunistic coattail surfers, all of them.
Bannon going to jail did nothing for Trump or MAGA. It was calculated to make Bannon a martyr in his own mind.
Better off to read the facts yourself and make up your own mind. All these talkers will waste as much of your time as you’re willing to give them.
.
It is Kristol clear that the subsequent revelations about Bannon, Bolton, Pence et al that PDJT 45 was set up by the RNC.
What happened was that Bannon (and others) recognized that Pres. Trump was riding a wave of broad public support (Tea Party —> MAGA), but they figured PT would get bashed by Hillary, but if they “supported” PT they could “take over the Movement” later to abuse us more.
When PT won 2016, they, including Bannon were shocked and went to work on stymying PT – to the point of trying to help get him impeached! Bannon claimed (highly publicized) in 2017 that “there’s a 30% chance Trump gets impeached on the 25th Amendment”, now look at this, it’s even worse!
https://www.rawstory.com/steve-bannon-2675066678/
Steve Bannon never wanted President Trump to win. He backed Ted Cruz. It was only after President Trump secured the nomination that Bannon gave his support, as he would not be able to make any money backing Hillary.
He did not believe President Trump would remain in his first term, either by impeachment or worse.. which would automatically have elevated Mike Pence – a much preferred President to the UniParty. Bannon is a symptom of everything that is wrong with the Professionally Republicans’ party, the unyielding belief that we are stupid and must be led by, and pay money to, those who declare they know better.

No clue why the edit didn’t work.. Some days bug, some days windshield. ☺️
I got barked at here on the Treehouse back in 2017 by a fellow Treeper when I brought up the question about that stupid son-in-law which would be Jared Kushner who took out a gigantic “line of credit” through George Soros – I mentioned that I had read about it on Wikipedia and so I was just repeated scurrilous nonsense and why was I on here anyway if I was asking about that! It bothered me greatly if it was indeed true and why in the hell did he and President Trump’s daughter Ivanka have to be working IN the White House?
Jared just never appealed to me.
So was Steve Bannon on the take from Jeffrey Epstein and Jared Kushner was on the take from George Soros?
Turns out asking questions is the right thing to do. Sometimes I was vilified as a troll or worse (by some of our best posters) for daring to ask the right questions. And other times my comments were held in high regard by the same people.
Dutchman comes to mind. We had our little tussles but we did come full circle. I miss him. I’m from the good ole days where lively debates were encouraged. We had debate teams in school (and rifle club).
People are so thin-skinned now. If they don’t agree there’s no back and forth exchange. They go straight to censorship and cancel culture. It’s a shame and it stifles the conversation.
We were all so young them…
Steve Bannon is for Steve Bannon, principles are but a pawn while cash is king.
I’ll give him a pass when he speaks the truth, or platforms those who do. Other than that, keep counting the silverware.
F’ Steve Bannon.
Wow what a pile on that awful Steve Bannon guy. But that’s ok Steve’s handled worse. He’s a tough forgiving kind of guy.
And tomorrow will be the same for me as it has been every day for a few years now I’ll read everything that Sundance has to say
and I’ll listen to Steve with guests like Scott Bessent, Peter Navarro, Naomi Wolf, Julie Kelly and the list goes on.
As Sundance says it’s all information, make of it what you will.
Exactly.
Ditto.
Where would you get similar information and in near “real time “?
Let’s focus our energy on the absolute enemies of the state and obvious back stabbers that are in your face everyday.
Signal not noise.
Why is Steve Bannon working toward his own demise? He would have to be.
He calls for action daily, asks his guests what this audience can do to fix rather than fixate on rage bait, and highlights regular folks who have stepped into the arena. He says it is upon our shoulders that the future of the country rests. He’s right.
Eating our own is a real concern here. Granted, he may have done the damage himself I guess. But from where I sit, if everyone were following what Bannon says, never mind him personally, we would be in a much better place.
He even praises Sundance.
FWIW – Trump’s posted about he and Navarro on Truth just over a week ago.
That’s what I see too. He’s shown me nothing to indicate that he is working against Pres. Trump, quite the contrary. Can we trust everything in the “Epstein Files”? I think not. They’ve had years to “doctor” them. The left would like nothing better than to destroy Steve Bannon, second only to Pres. Trump himself. And even if this crap is true, does anyone remember the story of Saul?
Also, he deserves the Academy Award for Best Actor every day for his portrayal of the biggest Trump and MAGA supporter in the land, wouldn’t you say. So I shouldn’t believe anything that I hear and see anymore, I suppose. Is that what you’re saying Sundance, then please tell me WHO I should trust, can you do that?
I have neither been a Bannon nor Kushner fan. I think without more information and context for both and their actions it is important to not rush to conclusions. Have both these men been right about certain matters? Have they been very wrong about other matters? The answer to both is yes. This is like piecing together a jigsaw puzzle when we only have a limited number of pieces and are trying to get an idea of the complete picture.
What I do know is that President Trump, despite many sensible things he has done for the good of the country appears to have had a lack of discernment in the way he has brought certain people into his team. I do not know if this was a personal decision or whether others have influenced the choices but for careful, patriotic observers some of these choices have been puzzling. Perhaps the fact that so many Republican politicians and senators have been so wishy washy has made it so much more difficult for the president. The country needs patriotic and principled leaders and politicians.
I think President Trump is forced to choose his battles wisely. Look how much flak he took during his first term! RINOs hate our president for showing the world what can easily be accomplished when the WILL to MAGA is actually there!
The UNiparty even impeached him twice, had him arrested AND shot him in the head (which led to the greatest FAFO photos of all time)!
And the ENEmedia propaganda has been unrelenting throughout it all.
Now, if I were a thinking person I might get a clue when every single thing our President does is cast in a negative light. He can do NO right in the media’s eyes. And that never raises eyebrows?
Imagine having to run a gauntlet of lying, stealing officials, angry white female leftists, gunslinging nurses and fake news jackals in order to remove violent criminals from our streets?
Poem from another Irishman.
The Second Coming
W. B. Yeats
The Second Coming (1920)
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
Seems a perfect event to finally totally jettison Bannon. Good move imho. May he go down in comfortable enveloping “flames,’ not literal.
Steve Bannon has always been just another rider on President Trump’s coattails, getting quite wealthy off his CON. He is far from alone in that respect however. The entirety of RAV sits atop the apex of fair-weather mostly fake MAGA riding the coattails and being truth managers at best, in their limited hangout.
Sundance is correct, it is ALWAYS about the money.
Sundances’ article explains something I read shortly after the 16 election. It said Mercer regretted buying Breitbart saying it was the worse political influence money he ever spent. Makes sense now if Cruz was the goal and those rascally MAGA people pretty much took over the comment section at the time. It’s become a supermarket tabloid now, and not worth anyone’s time. Never forget that while at BB little Benny Shapiro aggressively supported that stupid female reporter who claimed Trump pushed her or some such nonsense.
Sounds just like a democrat to me
Bannon does have a soft spot for FDR which is definitely suspect IMO. Breitbart had (might still) have FDR fans. I see the FDR Regime as a Soviet Proxy.
Frankly, it’s all too simple. Epstein is a psychopathic master manipulator, and Bannon succumbed to smart guy syndrome (which I think of as knowing you’re very smart, thinking you’re smarter than you are, and thinking that it makes you superior). It’s all very breezy and very amoral.
Sloppy Steve.
If anyone is “transitory”, that would be Bannon, who, btw, has looked like a homeless alcoholic for the last several years.
it is likely true that Steve Bannon did in fact defraud hundreds of thousands of donors who sent him money to do something or the other with the border wall. so for the record, exactly one year ago today, he plead guilty and in return bragg dropped the conspiracy and money laundering charges. the question is why hasn’t he returned the money to givers?
https://www.npr.org/2025/02/12/g-s1-48347/steve-bannon-pleads-guilty-border-fraud
and the actual founder of the “build the wall” group? he is sentenced to prison for 4 years.
I’ve never liked Steve Bannon. very sharp guy, intense, but he always seemed to be just another kind of slimy grifter, similar to that meathead Cohen.
I’ve written before, but it is obvious that President Trump seems to be constantly surrounded by people who are not just very strange, but untrustworthy and definitely not maga…nor christian. That does trouble me. Not meaning I am not supporting President Trump but to remind myself what I need to pray about.
God Bless America
Bannon states that he is a Conservative Catholic. Supposedly his parents where in Richmond, VA so that is what he follows. Bannon is very much against what is going on in Rome.
I never followed Bannon.
Maybe because he was fired. The President has pretty good judgment.
Why Did Steve Bannon Leave Trump’s Staff? Four Reasons For Strategist’s Exit – Newsweek
I stopped listening to Bannon when Trump distanced himself from him. Trump had to have a reason. Another one bites the dust.
Some of the Trump 2 Admin are Bannon friendly (Patel, Bessent, Navarro, Vought, others). Scott Bessent has been WarRoom lately so there is still a connection.
