We recently passed the fifteen-year anniversary of our assembly here at The Conservative Treehouse. Fifteen years of a conversation that continues; a conversation that questions; a journey upon the road less travelled. This odd little band of misfits, carrying on a conversation in the corner of a vast internet where pretenses drop and ordinary labels used to retain comfortability just don’t seem to stick.
Factually and embarrassingly, amid the whirlwind of sand through life’s hourglass I would not have noticed the date if site admin Wee-Weed didn’t draw attention to it, and I thank her for creating the pause.
Ad Rem, Stella, Menagerie and Wee-Weed are incredible moderators, always finding a way to guide the ship through fog, with a gentle nudge when needed. As a community we are blessed and thankful for their stewardship.
Two website platforms. 15 years. 48,349 articles. 5,128,351 voices in the comments. Visits from every country on the globe. These are the simple statistics of our assembly, yet the value of the conversation cannot be quantified. A loving God has a voice here. We listen. We are all vessels.
There are a lot of different things that can be said when anniversaries are celebrated; however, for our assembly my thoughts are about God and you. All of you, the commonality of you, us, all of us together in this discussion – no pretenses. The journey is the discussion, and the conversation is the point.
You see things differently than most. If you did not, you would not be here. You accept things as they are, not as the crowd would pretend them to be. If you did not, you would not be here. You see the deeper stuff and together we understand that perspective can lead to isolation when the truth cuts against the popularity of the thing. If it didn’t, you would not be here.
You value the truth in all its discomfort, and you have developed a keen perception that leads to articulate questions. If you did not you would not be here. You see the dots and yet you retain a perspective distance, permitting you to see the full picture instead of an image of random pixels. If you did not carry this inherent skill, you would not have found your way here.
You are almost certainly curious, inquisitive and instinctual. You also perceive more because you allow yourself to perceive more, and that is an incredible strength when you consider the luring comfort of the crowd you passed by on your way here.
Your instincts, your senses, your discernment is honed because these things are derived from our journey beside God. Ultimately, it is He who sharpens the saw of discernment while fueling the sense to remain stable while peering into the fury.
You travel with a mindset guided by natural laws and your willingness to accept being connected to something much larger than self. Yet our insignificance does not diminish our merit or worth because we know the equity of His grace.
We all hold value. We are all loved beyond our imagining. We are never alone.
You are an exceptionally intelligent person, carrying great wisdom and value. Your voice, your articulation, your sense and knowledge of the topic is profoundly unique, deep and abundantly evident when you are in a gathering.
Thank you for being here; for being you; for making this journey -this conversation- better, because you choose discovery over complacency.
I cherish our assembly and remain steadfast on the journey.
With abiding love and appreciation,
~ Sundance

Sundance, my career was spent in a company with the most journalists in the world. You are certainly the best investigative journalist I have experienced in my lifetime. We owe you more than you will ever know or that many will ever appreciate. Thank You and the other staff here for all that you all do.
I can’t imagine CTH isn’t a staff of “hundreds”. He’s the most informed person on many subjects. I often wonder how he knows so much about everything! If he’s a robot I’m glad he’s our robot!
Congrats and Thanks Sundance!
Congratulations and THANK YOU, Sundance! Your research, insight, advice and discernment is invaluable. Thank you for your pursuit of truth, accountability and transparency with our elected ones.
I stumbled upon your blog, best I can estimate, about 13 years ago. While mostly an observer in the back corner, I ain’t going anywhere as long as you keep doing what you do.
The TRUTH has no agenda! Sunlight …. The best disinfectant.
Warmest best.

Thankyou Sundance. Your welcome voice of reason and common sense has kept me sane into my 86th year.
CTH has certainly given me a perspective that I vaguely realized, prior to coming upon this site in the first half of 2015.
I finally had found a place where concepts I dimly saw, were laid out with clarity and detail.
It has given validity to my worldview… to beliefs and thoughts, that elsewhere, would not even be entertained.
One of the marks of an allegedly intelligent person, is the ability and humility, to simply say, “I don’t know” when confronted with a quandary.
I would say that these past 11 years have certainly seen how humble I can be!
The more I know, the more I realize how much I don’t know…
Learning is a lifetime process, and CTH is a good place to learn!
That’s wonderful! 15 years! Congratulations Sundance and to your wonderful team as well. Thank you so much for working so hard to keep all of us informed.
The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
Blessings
Thank you Sundance and all who support this site for making the scarey not so scarey and reminding us everyday to live our best lives. My life has been enriched by this Treehouse and by your constant reference to God. Thank you and God Bless
Congratulations!!! Don’t know what I would do without you and your *crew*!
I’ve been here at least eleven years :):)….. Time to Donate!! :):)
It’s nine o’clock on a Saturday
The regular crowd shuffles in
There’s an old man sittin’ next to me
Makin’ love to his tonic and gin
He says, “Son, can you play me a memory?
I’m not really sure how it goes
But it’s sad and it’s sweet, and I knew it complete
When I wore a younger man’s clothes”
La, la-la, di-di-da
La-la, di-di-da, da-dum
Sing us a song, you’re the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we’re all in the mood for a melody
And you’ve got us feelin’ alright
Now John at the bar is a friend of mine
He gets me my drinks for free
And he’s quick with a joke, or to light up your smoke
But there’s some place that he’d rather be
He says, “Bill, I believe this is killing me”
As a smile ran away from his face
“Well, I’m sure that I could be a movie star
If I could get out of this place”
Oh, la, la-la, di-di-da
La-la, di-di-da, da-dum
Now Paul is a real-estate novelist
Who never had time for a wife
And he’s talkin’ with Davy who’s still in the navy
And probably will be for life
And the waitress is practicing politics
As the businessmen slowly get stoned
Yes, they’re sharing a drink they call loneliness
But it’s better than drinkin’ alone
Sing us the song, you’re the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we’re all in the mood for a melody
And you’ve got us feelin’ alright
It’s a pretty good crowd for a Saturday
And the manager gives me a smile
‘Cause he knows that it’s me they’ve been comin’ to see
To forget about life for a while
And the piano, it sounds like a carnival
And the microphone smells like a beer
And they sit at the bar and put bread in my jar
And say, “Man, what are you doin’ here?”
Oh, la, la-la, di-di-da
La-la, di-di-da, da-dum
Sing us the song, you’re the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we’re all in the mood for a melody
And you’ve got us feelin’ alright
That is a good piece o’ writin’, beachbum31. Are you the author? If not, please tell us who is.
It’s a Billy Joel song
as we shuffle, run, walk, sit,
The Lord knows that we are not alone, far from it …and we contribute because we are Gods’ children, with a loving purpose because we care about others, a lot …
u tube, of the lyrics, with music… piano man…
👍 💯 😎 I just shared this last week with an old school friend back in England. It was 50 years ago, the first time most of us saw Billy across the pond. It’s from our only TV source of quality music at the time, The Old Grey Whistle Test.
Thanks.
Wow! It has been that long?
It is hard to put a value on truth and the bonds we have shared with you and your team.
Thank you and God Bless everyone, especially those who shared with us, but and no longer with us. God rest their souls!
Congratulations to Sundance and all Moderators: Thank You for welcoming all of us into your home. I promise to always use the door mat when I come to visit, and clean up my mess when I leave. 😉
God gives us all a mission in life. Some hear the soft voice that calls us to that mission. Others don’t. Many spend their lives wondering what that mission is. I am, for one, very grateful that you found and accepted your mission from God. Bless you.
Sundance lovingly refers to our assembly as a “little band of misfits.”
Oxford Languages defines a misfit as, “a person whose behavior or attitude sets them apart from others in an uncomfortably conspicuous way.“
One of the biggest things I’ve learned from our assembly is that, for the most part, the only people who are uncomfortable with our behavior or attitude are those poor souls who still pretend that government is our friend and that the globalist rules based order forced upon us after WW2 was a good idea. In other words, Deep State UniParty functionaries and the Useful Idiots who support them.
I thank God that He is leading us on a different path here at CTH.
You’ve made the bumps and bruises of the last 14 years easier to endure. You and the commenters here kept me on the right path when I would have given up. My life has been like that video “always alone”. Thank you and thank God for leading me here.
Personally, I am extremely grateful for your existence, your spirituality, and for allowing me to hang out under the tree & I have recommended this site to numerous people over the last 8 or 9 years (2017 or 2018).
Many of your sayings I quote, at least weekly, to other people, a few being;
The Truth Has No Agenda
and
When the Truth Comes Out, Do Not Ask Me How I Already Knew.
Instead, Ask Yourself Why You Did Not Know.
By The Way;
Our home we bought in 2016 is named; The Treehouse because instead of a large post supporting the superstructure between the 18′ tall living room and the 9′ tall kitchen & dining room, there is a 9′ Cedar tree with a few large branches that the builder cut down from the property to make room for the concrete slab.
Thanks!
many of His blessings to you and yours
Boy, aren’t we great!
I wish everyone had all the answers and were as smart and perceptive as we….
N/M
Nevermore?
WORDMAN, you’re the best! 🙂
To the next 15 year guys, where peace and harmony falls upon our lands
Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us!
We Celebrate Everyday with Sundance, the Monitors, and the Treepers comments!
Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough to express our appreciation for seeking truth here from the fog out there.
Praise God. Thank you all.
God bless the CTH team. Have been a silent follower almost since your inception. Many other sites have come and been cut over these years, but CTH has always remained that shining light on the hill. Thank you.
Wouldn’t it be fun for all of we Treepers to decend on the actual Green Dragon for a day?!!!
Sundance, you do the good kind of brainwashing. Twelve years ago my brain was full of gunk, susceptible to bad propaganda from the mainstream media and dishonest politicians. You began the cleaning process for me and for that I thank you. May God keep you strong and resolute.
Thank you Sundance and all moderators. Many blessings.
I have to say the Treehouse has been crucial for me to learn the real truth about the historical origins of the enemy that goes back thousands of years. I know I am not the only one here. Thank you to many of you, too many to name.
“The American people have endured a dark age. But today they are choosing courage over comfort. Order over anarchy. Truth over technocracy. And in doing so, they are giving birth to a new moment: A chance to rebuild a republic where men are strong, women are cherished, children are protected, and God is honored.”

Carthago Delenda Est! Sadly, there are places in our own time and place that need the Roman-style salting of the earth! CTH has been a great help in pulling back some of the layers that have prevented seeing where they are more clearly! Thank you for that Sundance, and for your courage as a Winter Patriot!
Furthermore: Maquis used to say that all the time about destroying the deep state. I love this site. Thank you so much Sundance.
Still here. Still loving this.
When I first looked at the Tavern picture, I thought it was Tun Tavern where our Marine Corps was founded (1775) in Philadelphia. All good things begin in Tavern’s or so it seems!
God bless you Sundance and the moderators! Thank you.
Scripture says that you judge whether or not to take heed to a person by the proven accuracy of what they predict.
Sundance…as my Mother would say…in correctness YOU take the cake! So rarely wrong!
Can it be FIFTEEN years!!!??? Wow.
BTW my home in the mountains is known as The Nest on Eagle Drive! ;>)
Congratulations and thank you for all you do to publish the truth. God Bless You!
From early 2016, I began to recognize “truth” in your posts. Honest, sometimes brutal, truth. After I found your blog, I found that I valued this site above all other news sites, for analysis and understanding. Thank you!
It seems much longer than 15 years.
As one who has lived with what is described in the item concerning lonlyness for many years, can you provide the link to the
item? This I want to process in silence with a bit of Mozart in the background – Be blessed Sundance and all, for providing much needed affirmation or the light for the road ahead .

Enjoy
God bless you and all who keep the Treehouse running. It’s been a place of sanity for me. My go to for the truth as best as it can be examined. I found the treehouse over a decade ago – a very quiet lurker for a long time until I felt it “safe” to speak. And I so appreciated being allowed to speak my opinion during a time when speaking out was out of fashion.
I pray you continue and that the Lord protects and keeps you. Amen.
Thank you, Sundance. I’m wiser because of your contributions.
A great milestone. Thanks for all the work you do.
Happy anniversary and thank you for having thought provoking discussion and observations. Happy to be a part of the rag tag misfits.
Grateful to be here with you, Sundance and crew. May the blessings of God be upon you all.
Ps 119: 105– Thy word is the lamp unto my feet and a light unto my pathway. Congratulations and may God bless you.
Thank you for sanity!!!
Discovered The Treehouse through a link on the_donald (remember that?!) in 2015, and have been grateful to Sundance and the amazing moderators ever since. God bless you all❤️
Been here 10 years and counting. Unsurpassed insight and unwavering dedication to truth telling.
Thank you for keeping me sane, well sort of sane.
Some days it’s overwhelming but I get what I am looking for—documented truth and excellent analysis.
Happy 15 years!
Sundance, Wee-weed, Ad Rem, Stella, and Menagerie, words cannot express how thankful I am to God for all of you, and for this refuge. I do not exaggerate when I say that I do not think I would have made it through the lockdowns and 2020 election theft without this place.
Thank you.
I know it took, and still takes, courage, and great Christian faith, to do this very important thing you have been doing.
As someone who was able to swim in the artificial stream until I was no longer able to unsee what I had seen, or un-know what I had learned, the consequences of refusing to avert my eyes have been profound in my own life IRL, and not in a good way.
Refusing to pretend that what’s obviously false is true is a very lonely spot. Sometimes I am like the little match girl, looking in at the Christmas feast and envying the warmth of that happy community among the blissfully, willfully, ignorant – whose joy in being together is available only so as long as they cling together to false realities so as to preserve their fragile ontological construct. Rather than play the role of Toto, I have simply mostly departed and shut up, except here.
I miss the friends and family and home I used to have. I do. I recently had someone pay for my lunch out of the blue out of empathy, just for my looking so terribly alone. That’s pretty awful, when you think about it, huh? The Alan Watts video brought a tear to my eyes. Too much truth.
I nevertheless do not regret choosing to see the world as it is. We must be voices raised up, or the silence will kill us all. Truth carries a cost. Walking in faith carries a cost.
The Treehouse has offered community, information, spiritual support, and more. I’m glad we are all here to share the burdens along the way as we strive to forge a future in which, God willing, Truth is set free.
Maybe some day, I can get my friends back, and be unrestricted in speaking with family about things other than the weather. That would be really nice.
If that happens, it will be because the Treehouse was here.
I always look forward to hearing your voice.
Agreed. Alex1689 has become one of the revered voices here and we’ve lost too many. Alex I could succumb to loneliness but for now I just remember all the wrong people that I have been around and grateful to be alone and really don’t want or need too much of or from others and the video was great for affirming that. Truthfully most of the people in my life couldn’t be bothered with the entire video) 😉
It is very hard to know what we know and not share it with everyone we know. But I have learned that sometimes it is best to *be* a living example of God’s grace, instead of trying to preach it.
For those who are open and searching, by all means enlighten them. For those who are closed off, be there for them with love for when they might open up.
We don’t have to fight with everyone. Not only is it exhausting but it doesn’t solve the problem at hand. Fighting will invite more fighting, when what we truly need in this world is peace.
Even God treats us gently, with all that humanity has done wrong, perhaps because most are ignorant of their transgressions and not of malicious intent. And maybe it is because we humans also manage to do much that is right in His sight.
I feel we are nearing the end of our ‘grace’ period. So I am compelled to spread love, even to those who have wronged us. *Especially* to them.
Like the prodigal son, God seeks to shelter every single lost sheep under His loving care, before it is too late. So I don’t want to drive them further away.
We know. The best thing we can do for our God is to help Him gather the stragglers. Leave your burdens to Him and be lifted in His grace to shine His light into the darkness. Not yours. His Light.
They may even be moved to reconciliation if you teach by ‘His’ example. Blessings to you, Alex. May you find your special place within the fold.
CONGRATULAIONS SUNDANCE AND FELLOW TREEPERS!
BEEN HERE SINCE CTH MADE ITS DEBUT. I MAY NOT TALK MUCH BUT I AM HERE! 💁🏻♀️ How fast the time goes!!
Happy anniversary, from my perch on Spokane’s South Hill. Censorship is the greatest threat these days, and each day you set an example in favor of Freedom of Speech for all. Thank you.
Congratulations!! While I enjoy all your articles, I feel there’s a higher calling for you. Your knowledge, intuition and investigative abilities are so valuable I sometimes wonder why you aren’t in an elevated position somewhere changing the world for the good of mankind.
Quite a ride, Sundance.
Some very dark years have been passed by reading your articles Sundance. Some good ones indeed as well, including the amazing rollercoaster we are now currently riding in. Excited smiles and screams of excitement as each new unanticipated corner or drop is safely navigated, continually bringing us to new heights. Thanks for the words of calm wisdom through the years.
I am so very grateful for the wisdom that this tree house contains. A heartfelt thank you to you sir and a prayer to God for at least 15 more years.
THANK YOU!!!
Thank you Sundance.
I can’t remember the first time I visited CTH? I thank God for you! May the showers of His Blessing be upon your life always! Thank you! Warmest regards! Kb
