You know the IC narrative is falling apart quickly when even the New York Times paints the background as gossip.
Within the New York Times reporting we discover more of the underlying context for the NSA intercept.
According to the Times, the NSA intercept was of “two foreign nationals” discussing an American person with some relationship to President Trump. The underlying concern was about the conversation they intercepted.
Just pulling out the pertinent:
“a whistle-blower report about an intelligence intercept of a call between two foreign nationals discussing a person close to President Trump” … “It is not clear what country the two foreign nationals were from, but the discussion involved Iran.” … “The identity of the person close to Mr. Trump could not be immediately determined.”
[…] “One official said there was no other intelligence that led officials to think the two officials had been speaking truthfully. Some intelligence analysts concluded the two foreign nationals were either gossiping or deliberately spreading misinformation. As a result of those doubts, Ms. Gabbard moved to restrict the report’s visibility. She also provided the information to Susie Wiles, the White House chief of staff, according to people briefed on the events.
The acting intelligence community’s inspector general [a Biden appointee] cleared Ms. Gabbard of wrongdoing after she responded to questions about her actions.” {source}
Summary: The NSA intercepted two foreign nationals talking about Iran and gossiping about someone close to Trump. The NSA snooper documented the conversation. Intel analysts concluded the two foreign nationals were just gossiping. DNI Gabbard did not put credibility on the issue, but to be safe informed Susie Wiles of the intercept. That’s it.
The NSA snooper then got big mad about the intelligence analysis of the conversation labeling it as gossip and took out their frustration by blaming Tulsi Gabbard for dismissing it.
Moving on.

The true excitement of Jackpot Bowling just came on! Bye!
“The Obamas have great jeans!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
More like Elf Bowling.
Just came upon a new recipe for omelets than uses eggs, will review at a later date.
Carry on.
This shiny object has lost its luster. Not that there was much to begin with.
Now, back to non-stop Guthrie coverage. s/
You can’t shine a turd.
Or I might add , Pick it up on its clean side…
“If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with…”
Guthrie has certainly been a useful squirrel hasn’t it.
I keep thinking about Tulsi singing this to Warner and so many others:
Pop up is getting annoying……
What popup?
Google search page……
coupled with a security scan
Not seeing it. sorry I can’t help.
Between Adblock Latitude and NoScript not much gets through.
I’m not seeing it either.
Get the BRAVE browser…
iPhone with safari…..
Yep! Safari is horrible, imo. I had to change my browser to Startpage on the iPhone.
https://www.startpage.com/
Brave browser is available on IOS 14.0 and higher. And it’s great!
I’m getting it on Brave too, but only on IOS. My Macbook doesn’t have the problem.
Same here
I’ve never seen it with Opera.
I got Brave browser after folks here in the treehouse recommended it. I get the antivirus pop ups too, but only at this website ☹️
The pop-up maladvertisement that I had to block redirects your browser to a fake virus protection ad with embedded malware.
Sundance must be over target and really rattling some cages because I only receive this maladvertisement when I try to read an article on CTH. This maladvertisement does not appear when I visit any other webpage.
If memory serves, there was at least one previous pop-up maladvertisement campaign against the CTH community.
I get that Norton popup with Brave at CTH on my iPad
Me too! The Norton ad shows up when I access CTH from my email but not
when I go directly from Brave. Hitting the left arrow immediately seems to work, for now.
I get it but always come to CTH via email. I’m going to try going directly to CTH from Brave
Norton
that’s the one I’m still getting; have yet to find a way to block it.
Try Brave browser, clear all history and cookies, and turn Brave shields ON.
That stopped it for me.
uBlock Origin should fix it.
Norton more annoying than Norton was to Ralph Cramden.
“Norton works in the sewer all day and can’t stand the smell of paint.”
NFW
Norton Antivirus
I was bothered by a different ‘virus’ of sorts when I accessed TheConservativeTreehouse.
It’s called a malicious redirect. Easy enough to block on your browser and system wide, at least on Apple products. Drove me nuts for a while. Just look up block malicious redirects for your system.
thanks; will try those key words in search “block malicious redirects” and see what comes up for the Chrome browser.
I just started getting Norton anti-virus pop-up scan every time I come here to CTH.
I’m on Android……..Samsung Tablet…….I have no idea what you are all talking about and I have absolutely no issues ever when I come here.
Maybe it’s an Apple thing……China is all over and into Apple!
I’ve never used Apple because I didn’t like they were over there in China…..using cheap labor and then importing their products back…with who knows what installled in them!
I know Samsung is South Korean…..but more free than China…..without Ill intent!
All my products….including my TV is Samsung and has been for years….because I’ve never had issues, and this continues to be true today! Phone, two tablets and TV right now.
Oh…..and I purposely bought my TV BEFORE they went smart! And then I made it smart after the fact!
HERE IS THE FIX FOR THE UNWANTED POPUPS
This is not a virus or malware, it is called a malicious redirect. Unfortunately THE PROBLEM IS AT CTH. If I knew how to contact Sundance directly I would send this to him, if anyone can let him know
, he can fix it and it would save his readers a lot of grief. You use the same procedures to block the redirects as you would use to block unwanted mail from any site. I will paste step by step instructions for old and new below.
PROCEDURES
Block the redirecting site using Screen Time Note this is for Mac, IOS,IPAD0S 26
Apple menu → System Settings
Click Screen Time
Select Content & Privacy
Turn Content & Privacy ON
Click App Store, Media, Web, &Games
Under Access to Web Content, Click Customize
Under Restricted click the + and add the URL of the site you want to block and Click Done. Note: I also ad as a separate site the truncated URL.
Screen Time will now block that site completely, for all browsers
Older Operating Systems
Block the redirecting site using Screen Time
Apple menu → System Settings
Click Screen Time
Select Content & Privacy
Turn Content & Privacy ON
Click Content Restrictions
Under Web Content, choose:
Limit Adult Websites
Click Customize… (or Edit)
Under Never Allow, click +
Add the exact website you’re being redirected to
(you can add just the domain, e.g. example.com).
Screen Time will now block that site completely, for all browsers
Again, if someone could let SUNDANCE know, please do so.
Sorry but the posted solution is only good for Apple products.
Sundance has repeatedly stated such pop ups and unwanted ads are due to your ISP. It is not a CTH server issue.
Agree. Happens when on laptop (comcast) but hasn’t yet happened on iPhone.
Could be, I’m on the internet a lot, and the only time I get one of these is when I am on CTH.
Right – they are only targeting certain sites.
VPN for the win in that case.
Have used Brave for years and Norton VPN, and never get pop ups.
What could be more absurd than this?
I know !!!
Tulsi Gabbard , when she was a Mossad Agent, was the real killer of JFK.
Try to top that.
In her prior life before this incarnation right?
Tulsi Gabbard this edition is a 1981 model year…….so yes that scenario would be obscenely ridiculous.
But Tulsi owns a TARDIS.
Tulsi stole the Wicked Witch of the East’s slippers and tried to sell them to the lollipop guild!
#Nothingburger
What are the odds the “whistleblower’s” last name is Vindman? 🥴
That’s Col Vindman and don’t forget it! 😉
Kneepads vindman?
Lt. Col. Vindman.
Vindman was on the list of officers to be promoted during the first term, and he was to retire as a full colonel. Trump refused to promote him.
Let’s release the actual comms from those days and bust him down to Buck Private, then let him live out his days at Leavenworth.
😆 Working with good ol’ Eric Ciarmarellla?
I may have the spelling wrong…
Or first name Marty.. oh my bad… I mean Mary…hehe
I think this sort of thing used to be called a tempest in a teapot.
Why does the DNI report to Susie Wiles? She filters the information that President Trump receives from his trusted cabinet members. That makes my spidey senses tingle.
“gossiping about someone close to Trump”, “or deliberately spreading misinformation”
Don’t you think it is good to prepare Wiles, just incase this misinformation or gossip becomes public? Trump doesn’t need to have his time wasted until that happens.
Your Spidey senses tingle over protecting the President?
Leavitt will get the question, and it’s Wiles (spit) responsibility to make sure the Comms Dept. is ready with responses that indicate it’s already been looked at and has been deemed a big nothingburger.
Anything about Susie Wiles bothers my own Spidey Senses!
I get that James E. Baker the 3rd vibe.
One creepy example about Jame E. Baker the 3rd . . . when he went to visit the late President George H. W. Bush and President Bush asked him, “where we going today, Bake?”
“We’re going to heaven,” Baker replied.
Baker was so dang PROUD of that little exchange he repeated it in the eulogy he gave; apparently, he did not think it was at all creepy.
“Okay” so I asked the teevee, “how come you’re still here? You said we, Mister.”
Wiles gives me the same willies. Willies Wiles.
My wheels-hit-the-road complaint:
– Where are the rescission bills for $220 Billion in DOGE-identified cuts for waste & fraud?
– Where is the NEW CENSUS – with illegal immigrants not counted? Why has that been subverted or scrubbed?
Much ado about nothing. We bid you adieu Senator Mark Warner gossip monger extraordinaire.
Take your faux pearl clutching concerns and go air them to the Hollywood gossip columns.
Another one who should be busted down to Airman Basic and Court Martialed.
This is apparently backfiring fast.
And yet, Warner keeps pushing things like he’s desperate to get Tulsi off his trail for some reason.
Good….
May the corruption get unfixably exposed and PUNISHED.
The IC is really getting desperate. Pray for the safety of President Trump and everyone in his administration who is working to save this nation.
They are getting very sloppy. Panicky people are prone to making mistakes.
From your lips to God’s ears!
If this nonsense is so easily obtained how come we don’t have a decade of verbal evidence for SpyGate, RGate, C19, Election fraud, fraud etc etc…….
What really upsets them is the foreign nationals Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib they used to have a chat and implicate Tulsi but they were too stupid to pull it off.
Ilan Omars husband converted to Pisslam and runs a winery
Alcohol is haram in that creed.
Why havent the Islamists dealt with him?
Ilhan Omar’s hubby’s elusive winery under scrutiny from feds — and it violates Islamic law
https://nypost.com/2026/02/07/us-news/ilhan-omars-hubbys-elusive-winery-violation-of-islamic-law/
I don’t quite get that.
Both Benny Johnson and some other ciizen journalist, forget her name, have both gone there in person and found nothing, no winery in existence.
Looks like Omar took the money and ran to the laundry some time ago.
@stepg_gray Omar used SHOUT because she wanted to get the money OUT of the country
Aren’t Muslims allowed to lie & deceive infidels in order to promote Jihad. Not to mention Vive La Revolucion. I’m sure his handlers will cut him slack for playing his part.
Time and time again … “When the flak is heaviest, you are over the target.”
The original definition of “DNI” was that of an office of extraordinary power. And this was that Congress’s original intent. This was to be a position which could stretch across all of the “silo” boundaries with impunity. Ostensibly, in order to best inform the President.
Well, “it didn’t turn out that way,” and it turns out that members of today’s Congress are the ones fighting hardest against it. So, I wonder what exactly they are covering up?
It’s one of those For It/Against It scenarios. We are for it when the dims are in power and against it when the Rs are in power.
In reading this latest attempt by the swamp to roadblock President Trump, along with the growing awareness of the stolen 2020 election with testimonies now being allowed to be seen in various online reporting sites, there are two quotes by Trump-45 that come to mine:
“We caught them all”
and
“This is the calm before the storm.”
We (the forgotten Americans) are winning thought comes up as that third quote comes to mind
“Winners never quit”
I hope and pray that President Trump is waiting to drop the hammer on Warner and his willing band of treasonous slobs at the precise moment when to do so will get Warner OUT of the Senate.
Open the bomb doors
I notice Senator Cotton did not respond regarding that elusive ICIG Atkinson transcript. 😉
Translation: “Nothingburger.”
They really tried to polish that turd up and make it shine, but….
The intelligence analyst should be fired. Period.
Some highly paid official inside the NSA or CIA decided to nuke his career, his pension and $200K federal salary to file a whistler blower complaint on something as ridiculous as this? Boy, the Democrats must be really desperate!
Russia Russia Russia 2.0 Come on Warner. Is this the best you got?
Amazing how that corrupt NSA can monitor and pass along BS.
They still have them protected freaks working there ?
Secret chat platforms not monitored while the U.S. taxpayers fund that multi billion dollar garbage collection agency building in Utah that’s used to help destroy the 1st Amendment.
Richard Burr . . . he must be so glad to be out from under the shadow of Mark Warner.
DHS fires senior CBP official for allegedly leaking sensitive information
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/homeland-security-fires-senior-cbp-official-leaking-sensitive-information
And they put a farm-league Senator like Warner up to start campaigning for Schumer’s job; what a bunch of losers!
Yawn until dawn!
Nice one!
Me thunks I’ll steal and use that one when the occasion is fitting– Which is pretty much any time a politician opens his mouth.
Summary: Nothingburger.
Prefaceing Tulsi’s assassination??
😉🇺🇲
Tulsi was in theater in the Iraq war. I think she can handle ass wipes like Mark Warner and the rest.
The Grauniad? Blimey the IC are slumming it a bit, can’t even get the Times to support their manufactured hit-piece, so have to visit the Left-Wing’s favourite. Again, they’re showing that without the tables massively stacked in their favour they can’t even screw you 1 day to Sunday’s headlines.
On an analytical level, the same names being mentioned constantly, using the same play-book, might be suggestive that these ‘resistance cells’ are heavily reliant on a small group of close knit individuals because of competency issues, in the same way a mediocre business usually relies on the ‘10% do 80%’ operating model. This is also suggestive that the controlling elements in each institution are small and reliant on a larger body, manipulated by the decades old psyops campaign. If true, then this begs the question why have they not been targeted yet, or are they now under threat, which is why we have the current DS conniptions.
Sigh.
Need to start making these whistleblowers accountable for gossip and innuendoes.
They’ve simply got to get a story – from somewhere – or simply make one up. Then, they attach a “super-duper secret ##classified##” label to it, to make it a super-duper football that nobody’s actually allowed to look at. (So none of them can see, or say publicly, that it’s nothing but garbage.) This is how they get their fifteen minutes.
Their problem, then, is that someone like Tulsi Gabbard, who can look at “anything and everything,” takes one brief look at it and pronounces it garbage. That cuts at least fourteen minutes off their bid for notoriety . . .
Where in the Constitution does it say that the President via his Department Heads, must listen to “intelligence” from their “intelligence” agencies?
Oh…wait, it doesn’t.
These people are the King and Queen insufferables.
One small detail being overlooked: Who leaked the information to the Times that it was a call between two foreign nationals? The only super classified part of the story is that those two must not be made aware that their conversations are monitored. Any bets on who of the great eight may be the source? Any of them in the past go ahead and leak to the Times? The Times article seems like damage control, especially in view of Tulsi’s written take down of Warner. He does a lying interview on video, she documents the truth, he needs a little back pedaling.
Obviously, the word “classified” doesn’t mean very much around these parts . . . It simply refers to which newspaper the story will wind up in.
Did somebody figure out the leak story of a citizen conversation, intercepted via the 702 provision, will have consequences as the 702 authorization is up for extension approval..
Note that this was a “gossip conversation” conducted by TWO FOREIGNERS.
Follow that chain of information and get rid of them. That kind of analysis is “Bush” League.
I am ready to see an A-10 pilot with 2000 hours and combat experience run for office.
While it is laudible the IG cleared ODNI Gabbard, it’s obvious that the IG was used as the conduit for this “gossip report” to save the NSA Snooper from being RIGHTLY FIRED by NSA Director Rubio or the appropriate NSA assistant-director..
Using the IG provides the cover from firing or worse due to rules regarding retaliation.
This was a 2-part trap.
First the part to attempt a frame of ODNI Gabbard.
Second the part to invite a firing or worse to be framed as retaliation.
More whistleblower complaints will be incoming until the whistleblower rules are reviewed and revised to short circuit the frivolous political motives behind similar complaints.
There is one other aspect to this not used for this round of attacks … the notion that the NSA is under the direction of President Trump’s ally … Secretary of State Rubio.
Why does Gabbard have to go through Wiles? Is this a directive from PDJT to be “vetted” from Wiles before giving him information, even from the NDI?
How did Susie Wiles become so important in Trump’s administration? Is she cleared for Top Secret info? She must be enjoying all the info she has been receiving lately.
I would not discount an Iranian spy in the White House, but would be suspicious of anyone employed since 2010 with access to the White House. The Iranians had a meeting out in Anaheim, California whereby they discussed that Obamacare and gay marriage would be upheld by the Supreme Court months before the opinion was made public. This leaked information came to me directly from an Iranian acquaintance as I was complaining of the medical forms and access doctors were attempting to get patients to sign prior to Obamacare being a done deal.
The best spy is always hiding in plain sight and the Muslims are professionals on compromising someone.
In a cage fight my money’s on the girl.
