As background for this interview, I’m going to say something that generally will not be received well by many. I have it on very good authority that FBI Director Kash Patel’s organization is currently one of the biggest impediments to successful execution of Trump administration domestic policy goals.
Specifically stated, DC operatives within the FBI are creating, manufacturing and leaking information against the goals and objectives of the White House, DOJ and other administration executive offices. In short, Kash Patel does not have his arms around the agency and subversive operatives are actively successful because of his incompetence. Accept it or disregard it, but that is the honest expressed sentiment from officials who are having to deal with the consequence.

They will attempt, again, to imprison Trump after 2029, and then go after his Administration and the American People who supported him.

I think President Trump will do what obviously needs to be done. Nominate someone like Homan to be the next director of the FBI.
The President will need to pick someone who has already been confirmed by the Senate in some role that does not require a new confirmation. If there is a potential nominee with the ability and drive to do everything possible fix the organization, but that person has to go through the confirmation process, then forget about it. The Senate as it is will never confirm that person. There will be enough GOPe to defeat that person in order to protect the Senate’s influence and objectives. In such a case, he will once again be limited to choosing someone like Patel who they would be happy to confirm but who sadly will be insufficient for the task. It is the GOPe wing in the Senate that must be flushed out and replaced by true Conservatives.

In any bureaucracy, there are opportunists who ingratiate themselves with the leadership in order to advance themselves. So you would think they would be on board with Patel — but they are not. Who are they answering to? I find it difficult to accept that ideology takes precedence over both duty and economic benefit.
