Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) Director Dr. Mehmet Oz and Deputy Director for Health and Human Services, Jim O’Neill, just released a stunning video from Minnesota. They discuss a former linen factory that was transformed into 400 Medicaid businesses that generated almost $380 million in billing to CMS.
It doesn’t make sense. One industrial building housing almost 400 individual Medicaid businesses that cost taxpayers $380 million in payments for services that are now under investigation. It is almost guaranteed these complex houses fraudulent fake businesses. Director Oz dropped the video on his X account.

I guarantee that the building owner had political pressure to set this up. It was also probably a vacant property that was contributing to blight.

You could be right but I don’t think so. I live in the Twin Cities (unfortunately) and am very familiar with that area. Originally this property was redeveloped as a trendy place (kind of like how lofts are) but when that didn’t pan out switched to office space. There are some legitimate businesses in there (a candle maker for instance). My guess is rents got cheap, a Somali or two opened up there and when their fraud worked other members of their clan piled in. It would be interesting to know whether all the 400 have individual offices or if a bunch are “sharing” the same location. It is a very large building. I am going to be in that area today or tomorrow and will try and check it out myself.

This is why I keep saying “Trump has to take control and shut this stuff down NOW, not next year or next month but NOW. I voted for Trump but I voted for him to do this kind of stuff and it’s not happening at the level it needs to. All it would take is a threatening phone call from him to make this happen. Trump led a round table where people like Nick Sortor told him more needs to be done. People in Minnesota are breaking into FBI vehicles and stealing weapons for heavens sake. All he would have to do is appoint somebody to take this on with authority from the President to do whatever needs to be done to clean this mess up.
The president needn’t do a thing except this one thing: direct his subordinates to revoke all funding to this state. This country is a republic comprised of free and independent states, so states have some autonomy. However, because of this fact, there should be no federal money appropriated to states whose leaders violate the law.
You shut the money off and the problem will be resolved tomorrow morning.

The local Civil Servants are your problems. Try to fire the person(s) who gave the licenses. Get the name of the person who took the application, the one who reviewed it and the one who authorized it. This is not just at the beginning of this fraud but through all the stops put in to catch malpractice. Incompetence and deceit. The government union employees are your cause. The base of the tree. If it runs to the top even better, but find the root cause. Someone(s) are not following the guidelines. Governments are not run like a business if there is a cash shortage they don’t downsize they start government jobs programs and raise taxes.
