On Wednesday, a confrontation between ICE agents and an aggressive anti-ICE protester in Minneapolis resulted in the ICE officer defending himself while a vehicle was weaponized against him. The female driver named Renee Nicole Macklin Good (37) was shot and killed.
Antifa aligned activists had been chasing and using their vehicles to block ICE officials, while trying to disrupt immigration enforcement operations throughout the Minneapolis area. In newly obtained video (w/audio) from the event, Renee Good and her wife are shown in the moments of the encounter. The video is from Alpha News:

The direction of the SUV’s wheels strongly indicates Good was attempting to turn away from officers.
But never mind that part as it doesn’t support a totally one sided narrative.
And, in any case, an officer standing, of all places, at all in front of a vehicle with a running engine is very foolish unless the officer wants an excuse for shooting if the driver attempts to leave the scene.

Wheels initially to the left. Then strait ahead towards the ICE officer when she hits the gas. You see the wheels rotate when pointing straight ahead until the traction control kicks in.
Also notice the ICE officer moves in front of the car WHILE SHE IS BACKING UP. So deception on her part, and then she gives it the gas going forward.
Go re-watch the video Chad Larsen. Watch the front tires turn from left to right to track the officer like she was aiming a gun.
She was pointing her “gun” weapon (turning the steering wheel, watch where the tires are pointed, always at the officer) the whole time when he first circled the vehicle to get the back plate number. She backed up and re-aimed her weapon again at him and make no mistake she hit what she was aiming at. That she didn’t at first get traction and that the operator was fast, fast fast in pushing away from the car and drawing and firing is all that saved him and others. My opinion she’d have backed up and tried again!
Secondarily notice her eyes as he goes by the first time and body language. She was wound tight and that look is easily recognizable to police, military and even horsemen and cattlemen. You learn to recognize when a mammal is about to blow up. She was there at that exact point.

this would appear to refute those who say that the officer incorrectly posted in front of the car as a tactical and (per the msm) overtly aggressive/confrontational, and unnecessary means to block it, and then shot her.

They could have boxed her in with vehicles and dragged her out of the car. If she then crashes into an ICE vehicle, more evidence to throw the book at her. Instead she is dead and made a martyr to the fruitcakes of the left.

I will try to find the clip reference as it is the only video I have seen that suggests continual movement.

There is some good literature about brainwashing having to do with POWs before and after the whole Korean War/Chinese mind control stuff. They identified the features which make people susceptible. I recall the numbers: 80% of the captive audience go along and try to survive; 15% become enforcers for the tyrant/power authority; 5% stand their ground. If even one person resists and survives and wins then the 80% tend to break through and follow.

When her vehicle struck the officer her actions abruptly crossed the line to the use of deadly physical force. He had seconds to react and he defended himself.
These people had better rethink their protest strategy. Interfering with a criminal arrest and running over a federal officer is not a reasonable plan.
I found myself in the same situation in 2014. During contact with a suspect fleeing arrest, I was standing about 2 feet in front of his car. I saw him shift it into drive and I knew I couldn’t get out of the way in time. He accelerated and I went down on the hood of the car and rolled off of the side as he turned. If that had been an SUV, as is the case in Minneapolis, I wouldn’t have been able to lift myself onto the hood. I would have gone under the wheels. The wheel bumped my foot as it was, as I rolled away after falling.
The issue for me wasn’t his intent. The issue was his indifference. He didn’t care if he killed me. He didn’t care if he killed anyone else, as long as he got away.
Good hit the gas and the front tires can be seen spinning due to the ice. And when the agent is hit, you can see him slide. If there was enough time for him to try to move significantly, he may have slipped and went under the vehicle, likely under the front left wheel. It was very icy here that morning.

I want to be honest. When I look closely at that ICE truck shooting thing, I don’t think the lady was trying to mow him down, I think she was trying to run away.
Problem is, the cop THOUGHT she was coming at him and responded in seconds. He couldn’t tell she was turning to the right to escape – he was too close. So it’s clear that she was a PERCEIVED threat, and that’s what matters.
She was also:
1 – ignoring their commands
2 – behaving aggressively with them too close.

Other than for the fact that Mrs. Good won an award for a very strange poem (look it up), and that she was a very loving and kind mother of 1-3 children, I can find very little biographic information about her, her wife, her former husband, and his and her parents.
working backwards, all I have seen is that Mrs. Good’s mother resides in Colorado Springs. I found her remarks loving, but something about content, structure, and absent remarks/information seemed “not right or complete” coming from a mother. Her mother has a different surname. Nothing is said about her father. Colorado Springs, historically, has has a reputation of being a very evangelical Christian community, conservative, and very heavily military—historically at odds with her chosen lifestyle.
he former husband, Air Force veteran Timmy Ray Macklin, Jr. died at age 36 less than 3 years ago. His marker is in Oregon and makes reference to a loving son, father, etc…but nothing about a wife. He also was a comedian of some sort (clue? Think of Robin Williams). Nowhere can I find any cause of death for a relatively young man (the absense of information is, sometimes, information.) I do not know if Mr. And Mrs. Macklin separated before or after Mr. Macklin’s death. (Nor do I know when Mrs. And Mrs. Good began their relationship relative to these other data points.)
lastly, I have not read anything about or by Mr. Macklin’s childhood family—other than there are many of them still alive.

Re Colorado Springs…it’s reputation has been VERY different than MSP.
Mr. Macklin’s obituary makes no mention of a wife or domestic partner or special friend. He died in 2023.
Mr. Macklin was a guest on a podcast (over Zoom) in 2021, two years prior to his death. At that time, he was not wearing a wedding ring. It likely is safe to assume that Mr. Macklin and Rachel were already divorced or in the process in 2021.
During the course of that podcast, one of the hosts revealed that his own first marriage ended when his wife made the decision to go trans. Macklin gave almost no reaction.
Macklin did mention that he had just received the 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine. All three of the people on the podcast were standup commedians. This was during the shutdown when the bars and comedy clubs were closed.

Good’s friends told The New York Post that the mother-of-three was part of a network of activists coordinated through her six-year-old son’s charter school who were actively resisting ICE.
According to the publication, Southside Family Charter School has publicly boasted of having a ‘social justice first’ approach to learning and ‘involving kids in political and social activism’.
Good and her wife Rebecca moved to the area just last year and enrolled their six-year-old boy in classes at the school.
They are understood to have fled the US after Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 election, going briefly to Canada before settling in Minneapolis.
