In addition to being the main economic engine in Europe, Germany is the epicenter of the European Union’s overall goal to chase the green energy agenda.
For the past several years Germany has been deconstructing their fossil fuel energy production and replacing it with far more expensive alternatives. This has led to large increases in overall energy prices, and downstream increases in manufacturing costs.
The consequences have been snowballing throughout 2025, while cheap competitive alternatives coming into the EU from China have compounded their problem. Recently a survey of major industries was conducted in Germany to determine the forecast for 2026, the results are not good.
Approximately half of the industrial sectors in Germany are anticipating job losses, cuts or layoffs this year.
22 out of 46 business associations are preparing to downsize their labor force. Only 9 of the 46 are expected to increase hiring.
At a top-line this looks bad. However, when you look at the sectors contracting versus the sectors stable or expanding, you suddenly realize there is a bigger geopolitical problem within the forecast.
Job losses are expected in auto manufacturing, the textile sector, wood and paper fabrication. Job gains are expected in aerospace, shipbuilding and defense production – i.e. the war machinery.
When the largest and most developed industrial economy in Europe is pinning its economic survival on war machinery, a particular momentum is created. It is never a good outcome for Europe when Germany becomes reliant on war to maintain employment.
Unfortunately, that economic forecast does provide context to the German position for continued Ukraine/Russia conflict. You might say that without a war, Germany could slip into a severe economic contraction; not good.
BERLIN, Dec 29 (Reuters) – A majority of German business associations expect job cuts in 2026 as the country’s economic crisis persists, with industry hit hardest by global protectionism and weak exports, a survey by the German Economic Institute IW showed on Monday.
Of 46 business associations surveyed, 22 anticipate workforce reductions next year. Only nine expect to increase hiring and 15 foresee stable employment levels.
[…] Some bright spots emerged in sectors benefiting from increased defense spending, including aerospace and shipbuilding. (read more)
We will keep watching with additional background context for the Ukraine/Russia negotiations.

Self inflicted wounds are the worse kind as they are preventable.
I don’t believe these wounds are unintentional.
They aren’t at all.
We’ve been suffering from the same plans and it’s not like we’re outta the woods at all yet.
There is a Silver Lining, when one hits the bottom the only way is UP 🙂
UP is not guaranteed.
Yup, there’s still six feet left beneath the bottom.
“It is never a good outcome for Europe when Germany becomes reliant on war to maintain employment.”
The desired globalist-EU-CCP-WEF (and the multinational banks) outcome is piling up.
The one million (estimated – TPTB hide the real numbers) dead in the WEF-DS-EU vs. Russia war, for now being conducted in Ukraine, are mostly killed Europeans.
The goal of the usual suspects is to kill off Europeans. They are succeeding beyond their wildest dreams.
Wars, mRNA shot deaths, gain-of-function diseases, abortion, pesticides/other food chemicals, etc.
Death, death, and more death.
The globalist goals are marching along.
When those pesky, independent thinking White people are killed off, the dictators/strong men have no pesky “elections” to get in their way.
Banks do not want wars. Politicians that want wars want the uneducated to blame banks. Economically is it insane for a bank to want war.
You pay for weapons, that blow up factories and houses that Banks have loans on, You pay to take away the debris, you pay to rebuild those factories and houses……. All in all to have the same economic value as before a war you have to spend 5 times what those assets are worth.
Bankers are not fools. They would never do something that stupid. But Politicians would do something that stupid and then blame banks.
After WWII Britain never recovered. It was turned into a hollowed out shell of a country. And the Socialists to their credit figured out a way to hollow it out further for another 80 years. But the piper is about to be paid in full.
Many acres of fertile farmland in the center of the USA are covered with wind turbines that pose long-term challenges.
Nothing that could not be mitigated with a D11 CAT or two and some well placed explosives. You might be able to recover the material, but wind turbines are a colossal misallocation of resources.
When one does something stupid, they are usually stuck with said stupidity.
I’m sorry, why do we need AI data centers that suck (will suck) enormous amounts of energy? Oh right, so we can make more useless memes and be monitored more. My bad.
Technology is not the problem, its those that Program it, given time this will all change for the better of Mankind 🙂
Um, no.
I think our representatives saw China’s social credit score, where they monitor people’s every move, and decided they too need that level of control.
The German phrase for this is known as woken-broken.
Ain’t that the truth.
Classic example how cheap affordable reliable energy
can have an impact on economy. ….. nordstream💥😉
Combine that with pouring money into a lost
cause…..Ukraine 💥😉
And having EU running your country. 🤷♀️
Yet another reason to decouple.
Take on more refugees….
That ought to help…..
Maybe shift from making BMWs to Korans and prayer rugs…
There are mosques to be built and prisons for the non-believers….
They have all that opportunity just waiting to be tapped….
Great comment!
Uh…about BMW…solid, yes…good mileage yes….nice ride, yes….sustainable, NOPE. I had one and when things started wearing out and breaking, it was bankrupting me…got rid of it…Never again.
Went back to Ford…
My next car will be a low milage 70s something with a 225 slant 6…..
New cars no more….
I’ll drive that to the grave…..
Never should have sold the 66 Chevy short wide with the three on a tree. What was I thinking/
I’m with you….
I would kill for the cars I parted out as a young man….
I put some serious thought into my next car….
This Summer I’ll be plunking down some cash for my last one…
It won’t require a computer to fix…..
My partner just did this.
Spent a lot of time researching and decided that an ’07 Ford Ranger was the one.
Then he spent some time locating the best one he could..he was willing to go to wherever to get the right one, turns out he found one from Florida already here in New England (kid drove it up, grandpas old truck down in FL, then he didn’t like it, being young).
It runs like a top, no rust and it’s within his knowledge with some Youtube videos to fix the entire thing himself- and he has been with no trouble.
It’s a great little runner for a retiree, good on gas, much nicer ride than he expected for an older truck and it’s a truck so he can haul all my junk I buy at the yard sales home- so I was all for it 🤣🤣🤣
It’s no coincidence that B Hussein rolled out that cash for clunkers program to get all those great dependable vehicles out of circulation. I still see those commercials.
What globalists really want is to get all the reliable gas-powered vehicles permanently off the roads and replace them with computerized electric models for “sustainability.” Hah.
Of course they can pull the plug at any time so they’ll run out of juice just like the energizer bunny. In the meantime, the new technology is easily hacked to smack those non-compliant, disposable drivers into brick walls.
Another depopulation event waiting to happen? Maybe they could blame all the carnage on a computer virus that causes sudden left turns?
“It runs like a top, no rust…………….”
Oil ’em up good if you want to keep it that way. Take advantage of one of the many oil undercoating services in NH and get that frame treated every fall. Those old Rangers, while wonderful machines, are particularly susceptible to frame rust(rot) when anywhere near the salt. Treat it every fall and the truck will outlast all of us.
My first car was a 1964 Dodge Dart, with a push button transmission and a slant 6…belonged to a friend of my Grandma and only had 18000 miles on it in 1979!
Creampuff….
That’s what I’m talking about!
In the 80’s I found a ’69 Dart GTS under a pine tree in VT with no engine or transmission which I got for $100. Then, since I was the proud owner of a ’73 Town & Country (continent?) station wagon with a 440 that I got for $300, I spent some time putting the two together. It was a fun bracket car for NE dragway, though I needed all of the shutdown area to slow down. Total cost was around $1200 (the headers were expensive!).
The first time I pulled onto the highway I could barely see because all of the pine needles came out of the air vents and swirled into the car…
I would love to find a 70-75 A body with a small block…..
I’ll be hunting soon…..
We have a 1995 GMC 2500 4×4 extra cab, automatic and a 1998 Chevrolet Crew Cab 4×4 5 speed. ( both too big for our forested roads.
We find our 1997 Suzuki JLX Sport Sidekick 4×4 best for the climbs, and tight spots.
Up this way (British Columbia) the two door 90’s hard tops are in huge demand by hunters and the outdoors enthusiasts.
Cheers!
My 2012 Challenger v6 went to it’s knees due to a cam bus issue…..
Because the sensors can not communicate the car goes into limp mode….
It is useless due to a simple communications issue (dead short)….
Yeah…no more…
A good choice. They look completely innocent and do not weigh all that much.
Fresh out of the army, first car was a new 1977 Corolla. Not much charisma, but it saw a lot of good times.
Now driving a 2007 Corolla that I got used several years ago. More good times.
Amazingly low maintenance costs.
“My first car was a 1964 Dodge Dart, with a push button transmission………..”
Guy I was in school with had something similar, with the push button transmission controls. He hauled us around to parties with it. We called it his “typewriter taxi.” Good times………
VM, that sounds like my Grandma’s car! It was appliance white, and was a low low mileage garage queen in Long Beach, CA. After she had passed in 1978, I was driving it on the 55 Freeway in Orange County when the car next to us lost a wheel! Fortunately, the driver was able to maintain control, though the loose wheel rolling along by itself touched the rear fender of Grandma’s car and left a dark scuff mark from the tire. My uncle sold the car and I lost track of it as I was much more interested in V8 powered machines. Still am.
A lot of people are doing this actually..
Smart people want vehicles they can fix themselves..
I would love to have the ’68 Barracuda fastback that mom sold cause she didn’t want it in the garage no more.
She had loaned it out to my SiL #2 when she was preggo, was told to put oil in it every time she put gas in it. (200K miles on it)
So it ran outta oil in Indianapolis about 45 miles away. Once we/I got it back… I was going to trade school at the time and I popped the slant 6 head off of it for a class I was taking on engines.
So I reworked the head, it was still perfectly flat, machined the valves & knurled stems.
It was all ready to be put back on a new short block, unfortunately I graduated trade school & got a job out of state so I was unable to do anymore to it & she probably sold it cheap as everyone that looked at it didn’t like the fact it had a slant 6 in it as it needed…. as Tim the toolman would say MORE POWER…. rah…rah..rah.
Looked like this, only worth 85k now in this mostly restored condition.
I think this was the color it was originally but had a more light green paint job on it from a front end collision.
Not a slant 6 tho…. i’m guessing the S version was the 383 engine option.
<sigh>
https://www.volocars.com/vehicles/17969/1968-plymouth-barracuda-formula-s
Sounds like something that I would have been scooped up and made a hot rod or a race car back in the day…
If it had a solid body it’s probably still around….
I’ve played with Mopar muscle cars since the late 70s, when they were cheep….
I built a lot of cars over the years, up to a Super Comp Dragster my daughter competes with….
I really dislike working on the new stuff….
I’ll be that old guy in the ruff running Duster in primer you see zip by….
OK. So…..how many people had Ann and Nancy Wilson singing “Barracuda” in the back of their head while reading the above post?
Same with my Volvo. Went to a Honda Accord, soon to be deemed antique.
I bought an old Subaru off an elderly lady, it was perfectly maintained and it’d been sitting in her garage for the past 5 years.
It’s wound up being without a doubt the best little car I’ve had, I love it.
My newer pain in the ass car now sits in the garage, I wanted to make sure this little old Subaru would be good before I sold my ‘real car’- which I will be and very happily.
I think you’ll enjoy this ad of one of the best VW oldie car ads of an old lady selling her old VW.
They don’t make them like they used to…I meant the old lady, not the car🤣
The Farvinugen (sp) was the stupidest marketing campaign ever, second to the Bud light dude dressed like a chick.
Give me a Toyota Landcruiser Amazon with All Terrains + it will blend in with Multi ethnics of England 🙂
There are signs that the new leadership in Japan wants to keep Japan, Japanese.
Which means people who make good vehicles will exist.
Plus the Toyota leadership is deliberately dragging its feet regarding so-called “electric vehicles”. One would think the Japanese auto makers have retained the designs and process/manufacturing knowledge of the simple, reliable designs.
Don’t count on it.
I bought a reintroduced Technics (Panasonic) Grand Class turntable to play my vinyl LPs.
QC is terrible for the built in Japan product. Especially considering the $4000 price. Had to return two to the NA dealer to get a third that finally met
published specs.
Beware – that product is NOT Japanese-built. It is not built by Panasonic (Matsushita) of Japan.
“In the tradition of Technics, SL1500-C is a Direct Drive turntable. It is different, however, from the SL1500 models from the 1970s and it is not manufactured in Japan like its bigger brothers, the SL1200 and the SP10, but in Malaysia. In 2021 the production of all Technics turntables was moved to Malaysia.”
In other words, most likely using Chinese-made parts (IMHO).
FYI, mine is the 2020 vintage 55th Anniversary Edition SL- 1210GAE Grand Series model -advertised and actually labeled “Made in Japan” on the back of the plinth. One of the major reasons I paid a premium……. all for naught.
Ok. That agrees with the notes I found on dates & models vs. manufacturing location. I agree with you that for $4K the turntable should have been flawlessly reliable. I guess nothing is sacred anymore. I used to have a German-made Dual 1019 turntable (made circa 1970); it never once failed to operate flawlessly. I don’t believe any consumer hi-fi components have been made with equivalent quality for the past 20 to 30 years…..
insightful comment 🙂
No prisons needed, just believers with sharp swords.
Have your source of cheap reliable energy source 💥💥💥Nordstream.
Keep pouring massive amounts of money 💰 into a lost cause – Ukraine.
Lose your Sovereignty when joined EU.

2001 Toyota Tacoma with 120,000 miles. It was my dad’s. There is some computer stuff but no GPS (as far as I know). Made in America in October 2000. It may not be one of the big 3 but it’s dependable.
Germany shooting itself in the head out of White guilt.
Or being Green…without envy.
Makes me wonder where Wordman has been. Professor Sundance’s articles and all of the serious bickering are too heavy for his light & airy humor.
Orrrr, TDS
Their plans to erase national sovereignty and preside over a one world reset were mapped out long before President Trump appeared on the scene. His presence merely threw a wrench in the works and smoked them out for all to see.
More likely, out of stupid allegiance to the UK-Netherlands Globalist Bankster cartel….
Unfortunately, all they have to do is wait out President Trump’s term and the butchers in CONgress, MIC, Globalist will be back in business feeding the meat grinder…There will never be another President Trump. Best president in my lifetime…God Bless and Protect the USA…
Agreed….the Brits have already stated they are planning to run the clock on Trump. Then back to business as usual.
Your post illustrates completely why President Trump needs to quit messing around with out of control courts. The next Dems prez is going to go wild. Border back open two weeks in, ya think? Sooner? USAID spigot turned back on day one.
The 2029 Democrat agenda begins January 21, 2027, unless you vote MAGA in the mid-terms this coming November. If the Republicans don’t keep the House and Senate, all the good that has been accomplished over the last 11 months will be destroyed by the Democrats, MIC, IC, Never Trumpers, and the DC Deep State.
The republicans have not codified any of President Trump’s EO’s. That is what is gonna lose the midterms.
Hold tight your faith.
Also a good argument (there are many) for discarding the filibuster.
Either we do it first and entrench the SC at nine justices or we wait for the left to do it and create however many they need to completely rid us of our Republic.
Either we do it first and enforce election integrity, or we wait for the left to do it and kiss goodbye to any vestige of a “free and fair election.” Even the appearance of … to which we’ve been treated for so long.
This is entirely the fault of CONgress. These feckless snakes -our so called Republican majority- could easily codify their president’s MAGA agenda immediately, as in TODAY, with MAGA legislation that is not so easily unwound by the next administration.
Or.. we can have executive orders that will vanish the moment the next globalist occupies the oval office. Hmm
Correct. The average lib does not realize the GOP wants Trump gone even worse.
America First agenda has revealed how much the Euro Union was reliable on the US open markets
Now that the one sided traded deals have been destroyed by President Trump, all it will take is a peace deal in Ukraine and the European Union will put all of Europe in a bankruptcy.
The EU has been bankrupt for a long time now, this isn’t a new and recent development.
What Donald Trump has done is pulled the life support tube off the dead patient.
How do the German people not see they are heading down the same path as Jonestown by following such a nut job?
They see.
If they didn’t see there would be no need to ban opposition parties and have so many of the opposition candidates die suddenly.
That is the German government.
Its people like much of the western world are simply spoiled children.
We meet many that travel to our Canadian west coast, they are not inherently bad, we encounter many have become rather obnoxious.
We have the same personality type here in our community.
Oddly enough we knew two hardworking German immigrant families to Canada that came out in the 50’s.
Upon their passing, their Canadian children inherited large soles of money, and property. Their 💩does not stink.😎
Our nations leaders in the west have become very, very soft, and corrupt.
Cheers!
Don’t forget the censorship- which is nothing but feeble efforts to quell their rising opposition- and then, see that they are monetizing their new censorship gig !!
Elon Musk stated that the AfD is Germany’s future and guess who just was whacked with a massive fine.
The others respond like Swedish rape victims.
Ossies do see it – reminds them of Soviet Union. That’s why they created AfD. retards in West Germany would rather have clean skies, clean water (same as before) with Green Sustainable energy taxes and electricity 4x more expensive! Win win win! Chyna approves…
For the same reason American citizens vote Democrat. They are entirely absorbed in total instant gratification and seem unable, or unwilling, to comprehend that making America more secure and energy independent benefits all Americans, not just a few hand picked winners.
They are stupid with sin.
The West is anti-God and as a result they fall for all manner of stupidities and lies. They also are hedonistic, selfish nihilists that don’t have children because children require sacrifice.
Europe has not had even replacement level birth rates in decades – and the US no longer has children either. Societies without children have no purpose/ no future and no reason to control degeneracy/sin.
Thank you. That’s the ultimate problem behind everything we are seeing.
^ This. I learned a new word over the Christmas holidays, “anti-natalist,” one who refuses to bring children into the world in its current [supposedly terrible] condition.
I had seen an article I believe in the NYT discussing the huge number of women who had implemented permanent forms of birth control, afraid as they were that this administration would eliminate access to same.
Shocking to me. And very sad that the globalist’s histrionic narrative could have so much sway.
If it weren’t for President Trump we wouldn’t be far behind.
or leading the way.
yes, dems are a lot like Germans. their hubris prevents them from understanding how little they actually know and they linearly extrapolate proximal data points far past out the cyclical inflection curves resulting in preposterous positions. i.e. they are linear thinkers in a cyclical universe.
We ARE in the same mess. It’s all been the same plan.
President Trump is a bandaid that we’re lucky to have right now- but to see him as some sort of a savior that is ending all their ambitions, that is naive and dangerous thinking.
Correct. Serpent schemes 24/7, 365.
The American people were smart enough to vote in President Trump. This must continue. Lots of work to do.
We have only ten months to secure the elections. Time to get busy. Write your representatives. Elections are fixed locally.
That is exactly why the RINO do nothing Republican leadership is doing nothing. After Trump it will not take us long “to catch back up”. They have to have the US collapse.
Reminds me of “Die Hard”, they have a play book and are running it step by step.
Refresh my memory on how well the FBI guys did. My recollection is they died in a ball of fire.
It’s like these people have never seen a movie. AI already wants to kill the programmers trying to reign it in. This is known at this early stage. Yet…
Seems we’re building more of everything too.
when the germans think they find an answer to something, they do it until it kills them
Woke + Green + Stupid = Economic Disaster
Multiply by lots of Commie Corruption and you end up with civilization disintegration.
Stupid is redundant.
Woke = Stupid = Disaster
Green = Stupid = Disaster
and
Woke + Green = 2 × Disaster and 2 × Stupid
or is it Disaster ^ 2 and Stupid ^ 2 ?
I guess that would be Woke × Green.
Exactly!
“Green, Woke, and stupid is no way to go through life, Son.”

Loss of Nordstream….💥💥 the only affordable reliable energy.💥💥
Pouring huge amounts of money into Ukraine. 💰💰
Having EU run your Country. 🤪
Europe is in such a dire failed welfare state situation that it would take a long article here to lay it all out.
I can’t imagine the EU holding together long- just what exact economic advantage are all these little countries getting from the EU that aims to send them all to war- chasing the Russia monster that is no more valid than their green dreams were.
I remember Europe before the EU was formed and they were far better off then they are today, the people are soon to figure this all out. So this is but one crisis that they’ll deal with.
Then we’ve got this situation; there are hundreds of Islamic sleeper cells in Europe and like this article is saying, it’s not IF, it’s WHEN they’ll start attacking their hosts that welcomed them all in- imagine that this will all be happening at the EU breaks up.
I agree with this assessment here, yes they have been trained to focus on Russia when the danger is right there in front of them with all these hostile foreign invaders they’ve allowed to destroy the place.
ALL of what they’ve been trained to look at and fight is but distractions from the real and serious crisis that has been completely forced upon them, and that is where it’s all going to go because of these foreigners that are weapons of mass destruction that have been unleashed upon the people.
It’s hard to have sympathy, they’ve done all this to themselves- we all have because no one dared to do what needs to get done.
We’re not exactly in the best position here ourselves. It’s all been the same plan, the same people making the same plans and carrying them out across the entire West -and we’ve all been trained to stand down and allow the enemy right into our front yards.
So we can’t exactly sit here and gloat because take a look at the rising Islam problem we’ve got here and this is aside from all our other messes. Sheesh. The more you know, the more you wish you didn’t know.
EX-MI6 Spy Sounds Alarm: Hundreds Of Islamist Sleeper Agents In UK Poised For New 9/11
He slammed Europe’s fixation on Russia as a distraction from the real peril: “The biggest threat to the UK and Europe right now isn’t Russia but the spread of Iranian influence. We’re going to see many more lone-wolves acting for the regime. When it comes to sleeper agents in the UK, it’s impossible to tell how many there are but there are hundreds.”
“Islamic fundamentalism is much more sinister as it undermines from within,” Dean explained, adding “It pushes people to distrust institutions and in some ways is much more dangerous than violent extremism. The violence is just the tip of the iceberg.”
This dire assessment arrives amid Starmer’s latest blunder, where he gleefully welcomed Alaa Abd el-Fattah—a British-Egyptian extremist with a track record of Holocaust denial, praising Osama bin Laden, and calling for the killing of Zionists, police, and even declaring “I hate white people.”
Starmer boasted on X: “I’m delighted that Alaa Abd El-Fattah is back in the UK and has been reunited with his loved ones, who must be feeling profound relief.” He dubbed it a “top priority,” ignoring Abd el-Fattah’s vile posts like “can we get back to killing zionists please?” and urging rioters to “hunt police fools.”
Critics like Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick blasted it as “an absolute disgrace,” demanding citizenship revocation for this “national security risk” who “hates Britain.”
Starmer’s virtue-signaling diplomacy rolls out the red carpet for radicals, while Dean’s intel screams that Iran’s proxies are already here, blending in thanks to porous borders.
Mass importation of unvetted migrants under globalist agendas has turned Britain into a powder keg, where fundamentalists erode society before detonating.

Woe be the enemy in MY front yard
But the problem is that your enemy isn’t going to show up in your front yard.
Your enemy is teaching your kids in school and poisoning our food supply, THIS is what your enemy is doing.
Your enemy is pushing for vaccines, sex change operations and the ending of ICE deportations using the tyrannical Judiciary, THIS is what your enemy is doing.
And with Germany the only one likely to benefit from arms build up how long will it be before the EU members refuse to pay and the industrialists states start demanding tribute.
I found the announcement a few months ago that Russia was responsible for the Immigrant problem. Incredibly careless talk designed to instill fear and prepare the country for an ethnic cleansing in my opinion. But I see fascists everywhere I look in Europe.
Germany went all in on the Green Scam just as the Globalists pivoted to AI as the preferred control vector of us Deplorables. And AI requires massive amounts of inexpensive energy. So they will not only contract their industrial base but will be forced to import AI / data center capacity for the future control of their population.
That might be their plan, but I don’t think that it’s going to go this way.
They are now well-positioned for their “20-year war” against Russia …
European freeloaders.
What amazes me is that they are stupid enough to believe they can rebuild their economy through a war with a nuclear power. Within two weeks, nukes will be deployed. Good luck retaining your military industrial complex to keep the war economy going, Germany.
China controls the WEF. WEF controls the western politicians. Western politicians are selected for their positions because they are idiots. Who benefits most from a nuclear war between NATO and Russia? China.
And the globalist politicians don’t see it, because they are idiots who want to keep getting their WEF paychecks.
Ya know, when you watch it all for long enough and then read history, this is interesting- the clear pattern that emerges.
Yes, Margaret Thatcher was right! you will run out of other peoples money!! This certainly is a fact at this point- it’s now very provable.
If you take that quote for an example “Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he’ll eat for a lifetime”.
They are in a constant, non-stop search of that free fish, they are obsessed with finding the free fish and then creating the conditions for getting the free fish handed to them- it’s like this is entirely all they know how to do.
Yet if they’d just learn how to fish… which isn’t that hard.
Its like they have no idea at all that if they need urgently to modify their Socialist states to something that is far more self sustaining because it’s now impossible to continue supporting their socialist utopia- and it’s all grown so ugly- who wants to do this?
It’s critical that they find some sort of a balance that isn’t dependent on American support or wars because we’re certainly not saving them again.
When the cost is dropped on us they can do anything they want.
I never knew how bad it was, I heard it revealed many times but EU has to be removed from our inheritance.
Also heard Zelenskyy is buying a retirement spread in Montana? Our money.
Good luck to Z if he thinks he will be a welcome addition to the U.S.
Already owns beach front in Florida I think?
No offense, but I find that hard to believe. Would those cowboys welcome that piano player? Nada.
Rep Anna Luna (FL) and Martin Armstrong both claim last year that Zman has been transferring $50M/month to bank accounts in UAE. I don’t think this crook is going to settle down on ‘home, home on the range’. WOuldn’t be surprised if he welcomes UKR election as part of the peace plan, so he can plan his exit of the country. THe SWHTF.

Florida is what I heard…maybe both?
Spit.
Something about those “defense related” sector growths …. they may grow but the number of jobs created will not be enough to impact the rate of growth in UNEMPLOYMENT.
In the US, the MIC at it’s height in current times rarely exceeded 5-10% of the US economy. Since the end of the cold war. the asset value of the TOTAL MIC did not even exceed the value of single LARGE US Company.
The number of “development” and “manufacturing” jobs just WILL NOT BE that many DUE to ever increasing COST of Military Stuff … rates of production will be countable on your 10 fingers.
The economy of scales for amount of military stuff built by ANY of the Major EU members will just not be that large … which means even as a war indicator the growth in defense industry is a poor indicator of hostile intent by the EU … they just cannot build that much equipment and recruit enough soldiers for the FALSE cataclysmic war with Russia the EU is predicting.
In fact if the EU really wants to rearm to the levels necessary fight some mythical major war … the big winner will be the US, who’s MIC will make up the large deficit to equip to levels needed … of course that also implies enough soldiers are also recruited.
I will also note that even Russia does not have the finances nor industry to execute the major invasion the EU claims is coming … that is of course as long as the EU acts as a “United Entity”.
Also, do not count on the member nations of the EU settling on “common designs and commonality” to gain some sort of economy of scales. I watched the commonality games for 15 years Europe …. lots of talk, lots of coffee and cookies consumed at meetings, lots of bloviating as to whom had the best stuff …. the only common stuff bought was US and a few fighter planes.

The arrogance and myopia of self-awareness of a one time German friend has caused to me reflect upon the self-inflicted woes of les Bosches with a certain degree of schadenfreude.
Purge your green new steal, TDS-adled, russophobic, caliphate embracing virus and you may have half a chance.
Just to be clear .. In order to avoid a severe contraction, caused in part by Ukraine destroying Russia’s Nordstream Pipeline, Germany must increase tensions with Russia, which could lead to a war where millions will die to preserve something called the Rules Based Order
But gee Wally, doesn’t destroying a pipeline kinds sorta break a rule .. and doesn’t it cause a kind of ECONOMIC disorder
What they seem oblivious to is that Russia and Putin get all this and see it all- and he’s not playing because he gets the game.
And working with Trump, they are wrapping it all up- so then what are ya gonna do Euroweenies? how about create some jobs?
‘global protectionism’. heeheeheehee…..
Let’s not overstate Germany as a so called “economic powerhouse”. Their per-capita GDP is lower than that of West Virginia and barely beats out Mississippi.
Problem is Germans are overachievers when they set their minds to war.
But for some stupid reason they always Peter principle themselves.
They also tend not to think things through properly.
The Germans make great dishwashers, they should stick to that.
This is true BUT Germany is the economic engine of that region.
One major thing is missing from the thought process of the EU Parliament as well as the leftist Governments of major EU Members ( as well as even major portions of their populations).
The following pearls of wisdom were imparted by the guest speaker CEO of a Company at one of my Graduate Business Classes.
Rule Number 1 … A Business exists to make money for the owners, investors and shareholders.
Rule Number 2 … If Rule 1 cannot be met … and the product the Business produces has a profitable demand if made somewhere else …. move the Business.
Since the EU green movement started German Businesses have been moving their production and development centers to ASIA and to some extent the US.
By the way those rules also have always applied in the US, as well.
The only side of the equation we control is whether or not we accept this philosophy when deciding which products to purchase. For this reason I try to avoid the walmarts and amazons of this world and prefer to shop my local downtown.
Of course, I may spend a bit more to purchase products made in the USA by Americans who earn a living wage instead of some random, Asian sweatshop. But as the saying goes, you DO get what you pay for. In spades, I might add.
I can’t describe my immense gratitude for my German ancestors that left for the USofA as the Weimar Republic was disintegrating.
Two world wars wasn’t enough for them, they’re going all in for a 3rd. It’s long past time to walk away.
Moral conditions of the Weimar Republic are being duplicated in today’s USA. That has been a progression for years.
It’s almost as if every commie expat since WWI has decided to set up shop in the land of the free, right here under the wire, within the USA.
When we are teaching deviancy in the schools, Weimar is not far behind.

“Germany Moves Away from Woke Regime Politics. Will America?”
This is from 2024 and is by Dr. Srdja Trifkovic, the Foreign Affairs Editor and a consistent supporter of President Trump for several years.
He excels at explaining details and news that few people can find very easily on their own.
https://chroniclesmagazine.org/web/germany-moves-away-from-woke-regime-politics-will-america/
Isn’t it amazing how moving away from woke caused Germany to shut down Christmas Markets?
People setting policy who don’t have the first inkling of a clue just how little they know about anything.
Language alert
That was a great episode. This last Sunday was beyond the pale. Reminded the wife and me of the sexual deviancy in 1923. Totally unnecessary, yet Sheridan keeps doing it. Growing up in the Permian basin, the scenes are realistic & the plot historic. Sheridan’s brilliance is greatly diminishing with the vulgarity. Happy New Year fellow Treepers. God’s richest blessings in 2026!
The historical Russian “Pale” (~1800-1900) explains much of the current Ukraine-Russian hostility.
Completely agree.
Epic. This will be a Zeitgeist.
Or high-priced native German labor being replaced by lower cost migrant labor.
For the most part, migrants don’t invade to work, just to consume. Like a swarm of locusts.
We can all thank Angela for this dark cloud.
One must always preface her name with the title, “East German Stasi.”
The reunification of East/West Germany was a complete failure.
Yes, for the immigration and the breach of Minsk Agreement, for starters.

“Germany’s AfD Derangement Syndrome”
By Dr. Srdja Trifkovic
Comments to the article excel in the linguistic efforts to disparage and smear any and all efforts to be patriotic by native Germans.
https://chroniclesmagazine.org/web/germanys-afd-derangement-syndrome/
I don’t understand Germany because of stuff like this. If you consider their history and culture, it’s brilliant. Good music, food, festivals, thousands of years of sociopolitical and religious history all the way back to the early Teutonic clans. But then you see behavior like this, where the government screws up everything to the point that it can’t be easily repaired, and Germany just reflexively gears-up for war with somebody else. Poor government? Let’s butcher a bunch of regular citizens!
Instead of responding to government malfeasance with outlandish violence, why not make an effort to correct the problems that led to unfavorable outcomes? I hate to compare Germany with the crazy joggers attacking people on the street, but that’s what they’ve done over and over for the past 100 years. Do the everyday German people really support this kind of behavior?
Einstein, Bach, on the positive. Marx, Engles on the other. Proponents of the latter seem to be ruthless enough to take over.
It’s ideological. The reunification of East/West Germany was a complete & utter failure.
As the reunification of the Koreas would also be.
Sing after me…….”Deutschland, Deutschland, uber alles”….I wonder what Merz looks like with that special Aryan moustache?
NATO has outlived its purpose–we can’t want European security more than the Europeans want, and our umbrella emboldens the capons to a danger point for us. Let them bolster Ukraine’s military with soldiers and see how long their appetite for war lasts.
Get trump,no matter what. Heck with our countrymen! lol
One has to ask why a country would purposefully destroy it’s economy and future?
There are other countries destroying themselves like the UK, Australia, France, Canada, and honestly the US is barely fighting off those who would destroy it.
The globalist puppet political leaders of western countries are bought and paid for by global elites. They use leftists and immigrants to accomplish their take over, destroy countries and their traditional cultures thereby furthering their agenda.
They just wanted to institute their own brand of communism all along, while we were busy raising our families, working and unknowing what was happening to our normal lives behind the scenes. It is all about control, power and compliance.
Obama/Biden destroyed quite a bit of our economy. Harris would have pushed us ahead of Europe. It is why Thune and Johnson doing the delay, delay, and then too late is sealing our fate. Trump will be a temporary bump in the road to ruin. Gone in a day and the decline intensifies. There will be massive vote fraud without action. If they win the house in November, Trump will be impeached until he is either hobbled or toppled.
RINOs want to lose in November.
If Europe gets their land war with Russia, they will set complete annihilation of ethnically European peoples. One has to wonder if part of the goal isn’t to kill off as many white people as possible.
If you look at the EU’s policies and the behavior of most their members, you can only conclude the end goal is the eradication of white people.
Orthodox Christian Russia won’t play like that- they’ll be far more apt to cut off their energy supply so they freeze and eat a whole lot of cold food.
THIS will unleash their own people upon their rulers and then guess how this goes.. history is clear and Putin will laugh because he knows this.
What exactly does Germany still make ?
Anyone purchased anything other than a car that says made in Germany ?
Cuckoo clocks🤣🤣🤣
Clueless.
President Donald J. Trump’s paternal Grandparents were natives of an area in western Germany.
His Grandmother Trump was a very remarkable woman in her own right, especially after her husband died.
There is a photo that I have seen of his Grandmother Trump and the family resemblance to President Trump is visible.
“GREEN” ENERGY 🟰 AN UNWORKABLE SOLUTION TO A NONEXISTENT PROBLEM
“Green energy” is burdening Germany, like NAFTA did to the USA. Both voluntary, both self-destructive, both ultimately benefitting China. President Trump has been driving hard to reverse the damage of NAFTA; will Germany see the light in time to save its manufacturing base?
History is about time.
It never repeats but rhymes
The Europeans are fools to treat Germany as an “ally.” Just sayin’ . . .
What was the German economy like in the 1930’s:
The German economy in the 1930s was profoundly shaped by the Great Depression, which began in Germany before the Wall Street crash of 1929 and led to severe economic collapse. By 1932, unemployment had reached 29.9 percent, industrial production had fallen to 58 percent of its 1928 levels, and the unemployment insurance system was on the brink of bankruptcy. The economic crisis was exacerbated by the collapse of international credit, the withdrawal of U.S. loans, and the imposition of tariff barriers that cut off key export markets.
Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in 1933 was directly linked to the economic turmoil, as widespread unemployment and social unrest created fertile ground for extremist movements.
And in 1939, we had the invasion of Poland and the commencement of WWII …
History may not repeat, but it sure does rhyme!
Decoupling is critical and urgent. From the EU and NATO that is.
This ArmstrongEconomics article “Germany Is In A Recession” was posted 8.25.2024, so stats relate to Q1 & Q2 of 2024, and things have continued to go down thereafter. The only alternative is a war economy. They shot themselves in the foot with the climate hoax.
The German economy contracted 0.3% on a quarterly basis, according to the Federal Statistics Office. Germany’s stronghold on manufacturing is at risk. The government implemented new provisions to bypass the constitution and spend in perpetuity on the incoming war. Spending is up, revenues are down—the German economy is in a recession.
Annual GDP reached 0.2% in Q2, a 0.1% decline from Q1. Around 10% of all German exports are sent to the US, and some are blaming tariffs for the downfall without seeing that the trend was already in motion. Germany’s economy has been in a multi-year downturn caused by ignorant economic policies that directly damaged Germany’s mercantile stronghold in Europe.
Politicians suffocated automobile manufacturing through net-zero regulations. Sanctions on Russia caused Germany to lose 50% of its oil imports. Its willingness to bend to Brussels has reshaped the demographic landscape with a spike in the population due to migration. Lawmakers have adopted a war posture and are pushing to increase military spending while abandoning their austerity policy. Germany may be the wealthiest nation in the European Union, but individual households are not experiencing any benefits. In fact, the average German has far less than those living in countries with a smaller GDP. The cost of living has never meaningfully dropped since the pandemic and lockdowns.
Germany has not experienced such economic weakness since post-World War II. Estimates believe that the economy will decline 0.3% for the year or remain stagnant at best. Manufacturing has dropped 10% below pre-pandemic levels. Construction has shrunk by around 3% in recent quarters due to high costs. Exports, which are 34% of Germany’s GDP, are down as demand from the US and China wanes. If Germany tanks, then the entire European Union will sink, as Germany alone comprises nearly a quarter of the Union’s entire GDP.

Armstrong is okay, but don’t forget that he wants to sell gold -so he likes discontent and doom porn.
Then they start hiding the decline. The numbers are probably already being adjusted.
Have spent time on Germany. Saw magnificent catherdals no longer being used. More interest in soccer than Christianity. Drug and prostitution zobes in cities. Homes that newer generations could only get when the oldest family member died. Unionz that dictated what work was done. Conceded rights and economics to the government. Gave in to prohibitively expensive energy. Allowed government to mandate unchecked immigration and social reengineering, allowed conservative political parties to be denied. Great people with formerly great culture no more. The rest of Europe is no better.
Germany has a tax on registered members of churches. The Government collects it, and gives it to the churches.
They can’t figure out why the number of registered churchgoers has dropped.
I have an idea !! Tax the members of the “green” religion in Germany as the sole support for banning of all energy sources !!!
Who has the most windmills in the EU? Will Germany soon be invading other countries again in order to capture their windmills?
This reconfirms what my high school world government teacher taught us – when a nation’s economy reaches the point of crumbling where the citizens begin to realize the corruption and ineptitude of their government, the time-tested solution has always been to begin a war, start small with a skirmish to a neighboring nation and see if they can drag other nations into the fight, all to divert the attention of the governed onto some bad guy ‘out there’.
That Germany is staying true to form should surprise no one.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, taking the European Union’s (ruled by Germany) bait confirms that all of Europe, including Russia are simply continuing to fall into old habits.
Sooner we’re out of NATO, the better.
I think Mertz would look fantastic with a monocle. He is like an evil Colonel Klink.
