President Trump delivers remarks from the oval office, outlining the result of demanding pharmaceutical companies give the same pricing structure to USA medication users as they do to the rest of the world. In addition to noting how his administration has begun reducing the number of federal workers, President Trump announces that 100% of all job growth is in the private sector.
Nine, visibly strained, drug manufacturers were present as President Trump makes the announcement of their new drug pricing structure. Even the buckets of winnamins will be lower priced. WATCH:
A large part of healthcare costs overall are the costs of prescription medication. President Trump is putting major pressure on all of the drug manufacturers to give the lowest price to the USA. “As of today, 14 out of 17 pharmaceutical companies have agreed to drastically lower drug prices for American patients,” President Trump noted.

The fact that no one before him ever demanded this is so telling. Why should Americans pay higher prices to subsidize other countries get this stuff for a fraction? We shouldn’t.
Never forget ,every single politician in Washington ,elected or otherwise ,was fully aware that this has been going on for years.
None of them has ever done anything meaningful to address the situation.
Sorry to say there exists many instances where similar situations are going on.

Because the UniParty doesn’t get enough in salary, lifetime pension/medical/benefits and immunity from the laws they impose on us, so they are entitled to extra compensation from pharmaceutical and other industries to make up the difference.

Good physical conditioning with excellent fitness. Good self care skills. Good mental health habits. Good relationship habits. Attention to character development.
Instead the medical industrial complex keeps patients and healthcare workers sick and enslaved in order to grift the 4 Trillion dollars we hand off to Big Insurance.
Most of Congress is getting kick backs from big pharma….and most Presidents stayed away from disturbing the apple cart so they could get other things they wanted through.
That was the way negotiating was done before Trump!
They would look the other way….to get one of their agendas through.

Or maybe that was just to warn others what was going to happen to them if they don’t get it together. I am thinking that the four big meat packers would look great in that position.

My experience this past year has been higher prescription costs. My Medicare Part D has paid very little toward meds I take. If I were to have a large surgery or be chronic, like my husband was, it might be different. But, I pay monthly to be covered and since i am in relative good health, I’m not seeing anything but higher prescription prices. Fix it.
If they ask me to take a flu shot one more time, I may puke in their faces at the pharmacy. Just this week, I was asked to get out of my car at the drive by window and come in and get the shot. The last one I took affected me adversely and I doubt I will ever take another flu shot. Most of us believe they push them hard to make up for lost revenue from that horrible Covid shot mess.
It’s best they say to take the flu shots even if they don’t work, bc who cares if they could have adverse effects AND are useless?

The agreements will implement a pricing model where new drugs will be launched at prices equal to or lower than those in other wealthy nations. Note “wealthy,” meaning that drug prices will still be far higher than non-wealthy nations. The U.S. drug companies have to comply for now, until the political situation changes so they can pay the grifters in Congress to do their will again without executive branch interference, lest President Trump begin to allow foreign companies in foreign nations to compete directly against them here in the U.S.. The days of these vultures picking on the carrion of poor sick Americans without accountability is being temporarily halted by the Trump Administration. This is another feather in Trump’s hat, for sure, that everyone who needs Rx will benefit from while it lasts.
Both of these, lower drug prices and the reduction of DEI federal bureaucrats, is a pleasant sight for this holiday season.
Does this transfer to what Insurance wants you to pay as copay? They will benefit from lower prices but will they pass it on?
I watched it yesterday and @the very end President Trump revealed that as he was watching these blowhards grovel it occurred to him that he is going to call in the insurance titans and hopefully read them the riot act also.

Amazing! How did he get those pharm executives to line up like that in a wall of shame while he listed their shameful abuse of the American people.
I wish sometimes he could not ramble. I love to hear what he has to say, but its a friendly, casual style that forces people to listen to every word, especially if you are not for the American People — becuase he is going to throw some zingers in there.
He just got them to agree to lowering prices (we haven’t really seen it yet) but even after accomplishing that, he makes them stand up with their nervous awkward smiles — these rich, high falutin’ executives, and gives a 1 hour speech while they stand there on the whipping post.
Then, they have to go back and talk to their staff, their peers, and their stockholders, and families — and explain how life is going to be going forward with the agreement they have just made with the president of the United States on National TV.
I wonder what stock prices will do. I wonder what kind of restructuring they will have to do. What will they say to the stockholders.
Frankly, I think it might be less painful for them to be convicted of swindling the American People and perp walked through trial and conviction and go to high class jail than be where they are.
I wonder if they knew this national media production was coming. Or how he got them to walk out and stand behind them like that.
