Vice President JD Vance was questioned about White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles calling Vance a conspiracy theorist.
Vance embraces the conspiracy label, defines how accurate it is, then delivers a strong set of remarks in defense of Susie Wiles. WATCH:
The overall remarks themselves are not terribly toxic to the White House, but the question of why a chief of staff would sit down for eleven interviews over 11 months with Vanity Fair remains rather curious.
What exactly did Susie Wiles expect was going to happen with all those recorded interviews?

It was not up to her to make such a remark. If the president want to say so himself that is ok. But you do not categorize your boss, your husband or your president in public.
Fire Susie Wiles. Get it trending with hashtag on Twitter/X #firesusiewiles
Still mad because you could not get a job in the Trump administration? You are on a fools errend.
Anyone who views Vanity Fair as a bastion of true, unbiased journalism probably votes blue no matter who anyway, and this seems like a feeble attempt to decoy coverage of the Brown University cover up debacle.
Wiles views Vanity Fair as a bastion of true, unbiased journalism.
Evidently! 🤔
Susie no doubt believes the Bush Dynasty is alive and well and will be returning in 2028.
Fire the turncoat asap.
1,000 likes, if I could!
Will Ms.SusieQ Wiles surprise as get together with star of msnbc Madc*w…..
FIRE SUSIE WILES! FIRE PAM BONDI! FIRE KASH PATEL!
There are very few times when all caps are appropriate. THIS IS ONE OF THEM:)
🎯
Indeed!
It would be easier and take a lot less time to simply list the staff that President Trump should retain than to list the ones he should fire!
Trump has a great team assembled. Are you a government employee on his Schedule F to be soon fired?
Any Conservative who tells a lefty rag that their boss, the President, has an “alcoholics personality” needs to go pronto.
You need to read the context instead of proving you are just on a TDS vendetta binge.
She didn’t call him an alcoholic.
There is a big difference.
In what context does any of this make sense?
What? I understand the context perfectly. What Wiles said was still an insensitive and odd thing to say about the President, especially to the lefty legacy media. How on earth is this TDS???? I’m a Trump supporter for heavens sake.
Exactly – When will Trump wise up to the bad picks he has made (except for Rubio, Hegseth, and above all Miller). Tired of walking on the moving escalator going nowhere.
Russ Vought, “a right-wing absolute zealot” according to Wiles, is one the best picks, but for some reason (Wiles?) Russ hasn’t been given the green light to totally Deconstruct the Administrative State!
Naturally Democrats and the Deep State want to take OMB down. The one place in Washington that knows the true CIA budgets and extent of their dark operations.
Sure points the finger at those who are still complaining about Bondi, Patel and Wiles ….since day one. What are they trying do hard to hide by mounting a campaign against those three.
SeaIA budget being reduced with boat strikes…
And Russ knows it all, inside and out. Maybe SusieQ should pay Right Wing Absolute Zealot Russ a visit for a strong dose of education.
Too late for that old leopard to change her spots.
Don’t forget Tom Homan
Hegseth? Can you tell yourself that the U.S. Military under him, now, would support him in any constitutional showdown between the branches, say, the court dictates national security policy, overrules the executive, Trump has to assert his CiC as supreme against an anti-constitutional overreaching judiciary, corrupt Roberts court upholds usurpation, corrupt congress refuses to weigh in or takes the anti-constitutional side, Trump standing his ground to protect the US Constitution as written, not how it’s “reimagined,” would Hegseth’s military stand with their CiC?
That answer will tell you how good a SecDef Hegseth is. A commander who does not command his own troops has no power.
Go take your meds.
The trolls and their dreaded trifecta are working overtime. What are you really trying to cover up that they know about?
This is a circular firing squad. Fire Susie, move on.
Not gonna happen. You honestly think Trump did not know about these interviews. They take down Vanity Fair, not Trump.
Sly like a fox, Trump scores again against vile MSM.
Good Lord Agnes.
I think President Trump mutitasks as well as any human in history. He goes from complex issue to complex issue throughout his day and has a great grasp of the facts. The purpose of his staff around him is to support him in this critical mission. He can’t control it all though. What she did is troubling beyond belief. This is not something else to throw on President Trump’s plate. He’s got enough to do. She’s not smart enough or America First enough. Take your pick.
I am sure that she believes in her heart of hearts that she, Suzy Wiles, could do the job better than DJT himself!
What the heck – I believe that I could do a better job. Then I wake up and go about my business.
Doesn’t Susie need to spend more time with her family?
they may not want her around since she’s got a back-stabbing mouth
She needs to spend a LOT of time with her family and I would recommend a great deal of outdoor activity, like flying kites and jumping in lakes.
The “Uniparty” membership is not confined to being American citizens.
Fox has an article on their website and it seems that there is some soothing smoothing going on…Mr. Trump was reported to not be concerned. If the picture associated with the article is current, like today, his expression says otherwise.
So if she gets sent somewhere far away, like Alaska, or North Dakota, we will know…?
At the bare bottom minimum, she violated corporate etiquette guidelines, IMHO. So whether she did the interviews in one day or 11 months…she knows better. Pfizer Sue has got to go.
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-brushes-off-wiles-alcoholics-personality-nick-allies-torch-vanity-fair-piece
I don’t disagree with your conclusion, but I was born and raised in North Dakota. Yes I can picture Susie spending harsh winters there, but after traveling to 46 states and 18 countries, there are vastly worse places to put her.
That woman is not that stupid to not believe this would end badly! She let herself be lured into the trap, so she can play victim, and acting like she is innocent as the driven snow.
Bullshyte, show that winch the door.
This is her contribution to undermine Trump to weaken his administration. It was a coordinated attack,
Yes it is constant sidetracked to eat up time, all by design. Another toxic woman strikes again.
Yes. And preferably, discuss with her the advantages of resigning to spend more time with family, against the disadvantages of needing to be fired instead.
Exactly, what was she thinking ? Never go to a liberal outlet!
She’s making new friends.
She’s following Marjorie around
If I were TRYING to 3D chess this, it would look something like this:
The reason Trump and his team go to the media, when his supporters think he should ignore it, is that it is essentially a win/win situation for him.
If they cover him fairly, well, that’s a win for obvious reasons. However, if they perform a hit-job, like this, then it simply forwards the narrative that the media is trash and should be destroyed forever. I think hit pieces turn off independent voters and, of course, they fire up the base to instinctively defend him.
From that POV, there really isn’t a bad time to engage with the media.
I’m not saying I actually believe the above, but I think a reasonable argument could be made by Trump and his team.
Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra
“If You Knew Susie”
🙂 Pretty funny, made me laugh!
By the tIme the low-infos lap up the media bilge, their “understanding” will be that PDJT is an alcoholic! Then, they’ll spread that all over the place to other nit-wits.
Susie Wiles was #66 on the recently released Forbes list of the “World’s 100 Most Powerful Women!” Being on that list sounds impressive, but, it is not necessarily a good thing. The EU Commissioner, Ursula von der Leyen was #1.
Susie has worked for Mitt Romney, Ron DeSantis, Jon Huntsman, and Rick Scott, as well as Ronald Reagan.
Some interesting facts about Susie, that I did not know before:
Her father was Pat Summerall, the former NFL broadcaster and placekicker for the Chicago Cardinals and New York Giants from 1952-1961. He called more Super Bowls than any other announcer and served as the signature voice of CBS Sports’ golf and tennis coverage for more than 20 years.
New Jersey’s Jack Kemp, one of Summerall’s teammates on the Giants, gave Susie her first job in politics.
Susie’s family’s sports connection may well have led to her being in President Trump’s orbit.
Having been an observer of, and a participant in, Republican Party politics for more than fifty years, my sense of things about the upcoming 2026 mid-terms is that the Republicans will be slaughtered. Absolutely slaughtered.
Perception is reality. Trump’s advisors, his senior staff, his cabinet members, and his communications people have done next to nothing to counter the relentless propaganda of the MSM and the Democrats that his economic program is failing.
Lot’s of people are paying attention to that MSM propaganda. Worse than that, the MAGA voter base is coming to believe that it has been betrayed by GOPe Republicans in the Congress, just as it was betrayed by Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell in 2018 and 2020.
Unless something changes, and soon, both houses of Congress will pass into the hands of the Democrats, with the effect that the MAGA agenda will be thwarted and that Donald Trump himself will face impeachment in the first month after the Democrats take power.
Donald Trump must go over the heads of the MSM and the GOPe Congressional Republicans directly to the American people.
He must step away from managing one crisis after another and instead spend a lot more of his valuable time convincing those voters who came out for him and for MAGA in 2024 to come out again for him and for MAGA in 2026.
they absolutely lose the house and maybe by a ton. Trump isn’t on the ballot and GOP voters have a long history of going to the tavern instead of the voting booth. The democrats have no such problems. Their voters always show-up in droves no matter what.
The senate is iffy, but the GOP has to defend many more seats and some of them could be tough. Either way, Trump gets fully blunted legislatively. They better get a mountain of work done in 2026……
Does it have to be this way, that there is no practical means of keeping MAGA voters from going to the tavern instead of the voting booth? Anyway, it is clear to me that no one in the White House is addressing the problem, let alone working hard to solve it.
Seems like that might have been a good project for a competent chief of staff to have identified and and spearheaded quite a few months back.
“the tavern”
Never let the word go out of style.
“Beer hall” has a nice ring to it.
Taphouse or beer garden works for me!
In droves of fraudulent ballots you mean.
bidenlies: “In droves of fraudulent ballots you mean.”
The situation with Trump’s people and the Republicans in general dropping the ball well before the 2026 mid-terms has gotten to the point where the Democrats won’t need the election fraud machine to get control of the House and possibly the Senate too. It’s that bad.
Putting a few of the traitors in prison might help… any action to deliver justice and accountability…. But apparently that ship has sailed.
Their mail in ballots show up also.
“Their voters always show-up in droves no matter what.” …….And the fake ballots, and massive cheating shows up too and without the massive R turnout to overcome the cheat!
“He must step away from managing one crisis after another…”
Even better is to stop creating one crisis after another and solve the problems inherited from Biden!
He started this week in Penn.
VDH spent some time in one of his latest podcasts talking about what the WH should do about the total lack of communication about what they are accomplishing. Trump is not articulate. He just brags about what he’s done. Hanson thinks they should have a team of people to explain in depth what is happening in each of these projects and accomplishments. They also should have quick reactions to answer the media’s BS
Steve Bannon has been saying the same thing for months — there has been a total lack of communication about what they are accomplishing. But nothing has been done to correct this problem. Nothing. And Susie Wiles has to be one of the main reasons, if not the main reason, why nothing has been done. Send this woman packing ASAP!
It has been a curiously anti-MAGA administration so far. Is Susie the culprit??
everyone involved here must really think Trump’s an idiot. A conservative White House talking to Vanity Fair is like these environmentalist idiots that try to cuddle with grizzly bears in the wild and wake up in the bear’s stomach.
and they’re surprised? This was too stupid to not have been intentional.
I am not everyone. The timing of this “exposure” of Wiles (as if she hasn’t been hanging her laundry out to dry with Vanity Fair for a long time) is most interesting.
Sundance has had the mysterious cat re Susie on his website for what seems an eternity now. Vanity Fair is a glossy, slick rag with lots of photos: lots of red meat but no potatoes (substance).
Will never forget how VF lauded Fauci as the best thing on the Planet. As President Trump would say “its a low IQ” magazine.
Little Suzie knows she is going to be FIRED for obfuscating President Trump’s Presidency, but she appears to want to disclaim anything she has done to block his mission.
As the world churns, she will go down in history as a nothingburger.
Who remembers this CTH article from Nov 2024. It highlights the ties between Bondi, Wiles, and James Rubin (who formerly worked in the Clinton administration before Biden’s)
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2024/11/22/ag-nominee-pam-bondi-and-chief-of-staff-susie-wiles-ballard-partners-law-firm-lobbyists/
A clip from the article: “Bondi was working for Susie Wiles as a Ballad Partners lobbyist for Qatar, together with James Rubin who works for Joe Biden to combat Russian disinformation and support Ukraine as the head of the U.S. State Dept Global Engagement Center.”
If Wiles is subtly sabotaging from within it would explain everything.
And due to the relationship with Qatar Bondi had to register as a foreign agent under the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
Interesting that the first day Bondi took office….she paused
FARA office./ department 😳😳🤔
Four minute video showing official documents.
I posted about it couple days ago.

I just think how could anyone in her position be that stupid to agree to Vanity Fair interviews and not know this would be the outcome. It is so beyond belief that it makes me wonder if this was planned. Did no one warn her? I’m s she truly that clueless? If she truly did not foresee this would happen then she has no business working in a position that close to the president.
It wasn’t stupidity, it was intentional. She’s a uniparty snake undermining the Trump admin from within. But does President Trump see it that way? That’s the only question.
Agree, laying the groundwork for her post administration sinecure.
I don’t know why anyone would go and do interviews with Vanity Fair but then again I’ve questioned why President Trump would do interviews with 60 minutes, town halls on CNN so on and so forth.
I guess everyone deserves a major brain fart break! She definitely has used hers up!! Trump should nix any future interviews for her.
Buh Bye Susie.
I suspect Wiles is making friends for when she leaves her job. That might be a ooner than we think, due to her age and the stress involved in the job.
That said, she’s a snake. With apologies to snakes…
I’m generalising here, but when people end their posts with a question it generally suggests that their model might need a bit of recalibration, if they think that an event proves their model they might need to tread wearily.
Politics played at this level is largely strategic, whilst most commentators or outside observers are, by necessity, constrained to largely tactical considerations, with perhaps some operational insight. If a tactical fixation does occur in a political party, usually exhibited by a drive to be popular, or score one over on the opposition, then it generally signals that it’s in trouble. This is especially true if it’s in the early stage of an administration.
The other general points I’ll make, that might very well apply to this situation, are:often what you see is the reverse of what it appears, the way to truly break anyone is sometimes to give them hope and then remove it at a crucial time and, finally, the way to tackle an entrenched system is to first understand it, then turn it’s headline strengths into exploitable weaknesses.
Its distraction people. Look over here…..meanwhile under the radar important stuff gets done. Classic Trump. Trump: “Pssst, look at them! There has never been such a bigger swarm of idiots taking the bait.”
None of what Vance listed as “conspiracy theories” were seen as conspiracy theories; masking of 3-yr-olds during convid, the media and government were covering up B-B-Biden’s mental acuity, and that the B-B-Biden administration wanted to throw their opponents in jail. He totally dodged the question and loitered out factually-accurate happenings. Going to have to try harder than that for the 2028 primaries. Cutesy stuff only travels so far before it just becomes dumb
We love the lovely girl that is the Press Secretary but it is just TOO, TOO much all this business about all of the White House fully supportive of Susie Wiles . . . that was on Fox News this afternoon . . .
meanwhile, many of us . . . well, I know TWO (my Mother and myself) are fuming over the President’s comment regarding the horrific circumstances of the death of Rob Reiner and his wife . . . is this business about Susie Wiles and the “Vanity Fair” article to get our minds off of that? Is THAT Susie’s brilliant ploy, to get us all back on board with the President and “everyone in the White House” over HER “Vanity Fair” adventure while deftly avoiding the topic of the comment by the President regarding Rob Reiner and his wife?
Susie Wiles is chickenshit and so was the President’s comment about the Reiner tragedy.
I want Susie to be gone from the Oval Office and I want President Trump to issue a clear apology regarding his statement about the Reiner tragedy; whether the apology is accepted by anyone is not the point – we expect better, much better, of you, President Trump.
Do you have any idea what Rob Reiner had been doing to destroy Trump and his family?
Yes, I do know . . . and I still think President Trump’s comment was chickenshit.
After both assassination attempts on President Trump, Reiner publicly said he was sorry that they failed. The man openly and publicly wished for the death of our President. F Reiner.
And I think your’s is!
Apology. Never. Rob Reiner worked against the BEST President ever with the CIA who tried to kill him twice.
Go Trump! I commend your brutal honesty.
You and your mother would do well to look beyond Reiner’s movies and research how absolutely vile he has been for more than 10 years with President Trump.
Sundance has covered here that Reiner and Soros bankrolled former Feinstein flunky Dan Jones to really push the Russiagate nonsense. His little Committee to Investigate Russia has Clapper, Mike Hayden, Mike Morrell, and Leon Panetta on the advisory board, so he has been swimming with Swamp Rats for years.
Reiner also smeared Rush Limbaugh the day after he died.
Go back and re-read what President Trump posted, then come back here and list what you believe was factually not true. Research Reiner’s many vile postings dating back years.
After you do that, ask yourself if Reiner could possibly have incited any of the violence committed by the left, including 2 assassination attempts against the President and an actual assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Reiner is dead, he can’t hurt you anymore. Unless you are stupid enough to attack a dead man.
Not attacking him at all. Just pointing out how vile he was.
Which vile dead men can we attack and what are the parameters please.
What was President Trump’s comment about the Reiner tragedy?
“What exactly did Susie Wiles expect was going to happen with all those recorded interviews?”
I’ve been assured by “Our Betters” that she prefers to keep a low profile and stay in the background — out of the limelight and does not seek attention.
What the hell happens to these people when they get to Sodom and Gomorrah on the Potomac — is there something in The Swamp Water? /rhetorical
Right!
On the one hand, all we have heard about from the beginning is that she likes to keep a low profile, blah blah blah . . . and then she does this “Vanity Fair” article?
Was it Susie Wiles herself getting everyone out to proclaim fealty to her in spite of the “Vanity Fair” interview fallout? Who actually orchestrated all of that today?
I think many of us in MAGA refrain from criticism of President Trump if we don’t exactly like the way something seems to be going or something he says, we want to provide a united front . . . and then this wench goes into an interview denigrating the President!
Wait . . . and we are not supposed to criticize Susie Wiles because that would not be in the interest of MAGA when she herself is apparently not for MAGA.
To me, she is James Baker in a skirt . . . or in fashionably loose-fitting pants outfits in flattering pastels.
Wiles (and others) should be tendering her resignation letter.
JV will be the smartest President, ever.
No, just no.
People get flattered and cease to have good judgment. She definitely should have known better.
Who else has been doing interviews? The snake poem is spot on!
Is there not enough foresight to play these journalists in the strongest MAGA America 1st, 2 d, 3 d chess game, or just first rate ego action taking place. I do like the Ketamine Musk.
By the tIme the low-infos lap up the media bilge, their “understanding” will be that PDJT is an alcoholic! Then, they’ll spread that all over the place to other nit-wits. – Texas Rancher.
I’m thinking there’s going to be more to come as time goes by.
Didn’t she just win some award? I give her the booby prize.
Wiles should be fired for stupidity for even sitting down for interviews with a far left rag like Vanity Fair.
What good did she think could possibly come from it?
That they portray you and your boss, President Trump in the worst possible light should be no surprise.
Stop this you clown
So this was the Susie Wiles Circus today, December 16, 2025 . . . many compliments from all around and so just never you mind how stupid she is . . . she is wise!
Nauseating. I remember when Harmeet tried to rig the CA primary against President Trump, and yet she is now part of his Admin, along with her heroine Susie the Uniparty RINO. And both are doing a fantastic job! /s
Remember when Harmeet was going to help Kari Lake in Arizona? She was a no show.
Exactly!
Everyone named in the article + many others have defended Wiles….
Pretty much the same response as Vance, really doesn’t mean much, above his pay grade to say anything meaningful – PT is the one who needs to act … ASAP. Hopefully it’s not a repeat of his Bill Barr is a really nice man moment.
This why are people slamming JD.. What is he suppose to say is he suppose
to call for her to be fired..This is POTUS COS not his..it is up to POTUS
to call her out or to fire her..JD would be overstepping if he did that.
He can have a chat with her in private.. but publically it is not his
call to make what happens to her nor would it be helpful to bash her
that is up to POTUS to handle this mess.
Brother, she is really calling in some chits, isn’t she.
But how many people are we NOT hearing from about how great she is?
Haven’t heard anything from RFK Jr… (“quirky Bobbly” didn’t she call him?)
This is an interesting point being made by Russ Vought. He is a straight shooter and very smart and knows exactly who the enemy is and what they are up to.
It is pretty much the job description of the WH Chief of Staff that their primary duty is to keep the President OUT of trouble and to ride-herd on all the rest of the staff to make sure none of them commit any unforced errors or go off-message.
Fail and big time self-inflicted fail.
New book in the making, “The Wiles of Susie”. 🦨
I think President Trump is trying to save face & he will show her the door soon.
I never trusted her & she is not naive, she knew what she was doing.
Didn’t she recommend Pam Bondi? Actually this is good news if it gets her gone & hires someone loyal.
She is taking her fame a little too serious.
Remember, when Trump first introduced her, she was defiantly not wanting any recognition of any kind and seemed embarrassed to be on stage. Pride in your fame will get you every time.
They worry me!
Today was the first time I’ve read about the interviews Wiles gave to Vanity Fair. WTF? Feeling kind of nauseous at this time to listen to Vance defend her. Why?
Just put some Japanese Knotweed extract under my tongue so that maybe I can purge listening to Vance from my brain tonight. WTF?
I have to wonder why James O’Keefe has to put on glasses to disguise himself and go on dates to get government flunkies to say something stupid on record.
Susie skips the date and gives it away for free.
They don’t even have to drive her home!
The palace intriguers are playing out their hands now out in the open piling on Bondi, Patel and Wiles. Nicely played President Trump. Plus you destroyed Vanity Fair at the same time. Well done.
Flush out those sneaky ones who have been attacking Bondi, Patel and Wiles since day one.
Bondi, Patel and Wiles went to Costco and bought a hundred pies that they are handling out to Democrats to hit them in the face with!
Yes, because Bondi, Wiles and Patel have been the true All-Stars of this Admin so far! /s

Wiles, daughter of Pat Summerall, wants to be invited to DC’s best parties.
Kick her to the curb
She is a backstabber and Trump’s handler.. She is there to undermine Trump, his administration…plain and simple
She might be asking to be fired because her job is done
Even if everything she said was true, she displayed a major character flaw — poor judgment. She’s old enough to know the admonition – “don’t air your dirty linens in public” – and she did so publicly 11 times.
I don’t suppose she had the common sense to record it the interviews? Every single person commenting here would have had better sense than she displayed.
Granted VF probably lied to some degree, but not with every quote.
The President deserves better and so do we the people.
The problem is not her doing the interviews, the problem is her statements and the anti-MAGA sentiments they express. She needs to go.
If Susie Wiles truly believes her multiple interviews were taken out of context or misleading as she claims, she needs to put her money where her mouth is, and sue Vanity Fair like President Trump has been suing various media, recently the BBC for edited Jan 6 comments. Let’s see it happen, Susie. I doubt it will.
