Everything about the Brown University shooting doesn’t make sense through the ordinary prism.

There are a reported 800 cameras on the Brown University campus, including facial recognition capable cameras, yet school and local police officials claim they do not have any footage of the suspect entering or exiting the building or walking on the campus itself.
Given the nature of the extreme left Brown U ideology, were the cameras turned off or non-recording as part of an ICE resistance effort?
Journalist Mark Halprin received information that College Republican Vice President Ella Cook was the primary target of the shooter. There are a lot of odd contradictions and missing information within the statements by the Providence Mayor, school officials and local law enforcement. The suspect has still not been identified, and the local police are trying to avoid specific questions.
Obviously, if Ella Cook, a conservative Christian student and vice-president of the campus Republican group was the specific target, then Brown University would have a motive to try and avoid admitting that Ella Cook a young, female, Christian conservative student was a victim of a targeted political assassination on campus.

There are a lot of conflicting stories that could be easily cleaned up without interfering with the investigation.
But the authorities act like they are hiding information.

SSRI/Incel/Ex-partner shooters generally plan on murder-suicide. The fact this killer left alive indicates he or she had an operational mission. The odds of a prominent college Republican being one of two people killed during a random attack in Rhode Island, or New England for that matter, are implausibly low. Therefore I have no doubt Cook was targeted for political assassination. The shooting fits a pattern.
In just a year’s time, the political left has not only normalized political assassination in the United States, but created an atmosphere where it is just not tolerated, but celebrated and encouraged.
That was my point in other threads about the lukewarm effort being put into this investigation. Providence officials may not want to let this killer go, but they do not appear too interested in finding him or her either. They may care, but they apparently care a lot less.

The first hinky thing here is Mark Halperin. Until last month, he’d been doing a very creditable job rebuilding his reputation after losing his media career due to sexual harassment allegations. His Morning Meeting show with Sean Spicer and Dan Turrentine on 2WAY had become a highly popular, serious political commentary — until both Spicer and Turrentine abruptly quit at the same time, due to unspecified reasons (we may at least assume Halperin hadn’t hit on them).
Yesterday, the story was that this was an anti-Semitic attack timed to conincide with Hanukkah, like the Australian beach attack. But neither of those killed at Brown, Ella Cook, an Episcopalian, and Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov, apparently a Muslim himself, was Jewish. Whatever the shooter shouted just before he opened fire, “Allahu Akbar!” now seems at best incongruous.

Why target just the VP? If you want to make a statement, go for the top. And a poll from earlier this month said that conservatives at Brown tended to keep a low profile.

Brown’s endowment reached $8 billion after fiscal year 2025 return. Perhaps the endowments of institutes of higher learning are FULL of laundered money and other nefarious undertakings and these “incidences” are meant to open our eyes to just where the money trails lead.

This shooting was clearly premeditated. If Ella Cook was indeed the primary target, then the list of potential suspects can be effectively narrowed down to the number of individuals who knew definitively where she would be at the time of the shooting. How many can that be? A dozen?
That might be more difficult than it appears. If the session was some sort of club meeting rather than a study group it would have been advertised online, making that information available to everyone. Even if were a study session, it would be relatively easy for someone stalking Ms. Cook or another target to establish their schedule or activity patterns over the course of the semester. Identifying a suspect in that case might require reviewing thousands of hours of video covering a period of months.
A conservative club at Brown may refrain from posting their meetings online.
There are many ways to make sure people know when the next meeting is without a public announcement. Email, texts, Signal…
At some point average citizens will wake up to the fact that we are in the middle of what the IC call a “color revolution.” Our society as we know it is under attack from many vectors. The goal is to take out anyone who opposes being a slave to corporate elites. Once AI is fully deployed the battlefield will shift decidedly in the elites favor. Speaking from my conspiracy theorist side: Possibly, the fact that Jews and Christians are being attacked in our own country, is another “ploy” or concerted, targeted, carefully planned (“color?”) operation designed to *finally* get us to pick up our arms and start shooting people? I have no clue. But, it seems to me that the FIB and the national spy apparatus has the ability to do whatever they want – they can find people, or not. They can arrest people, or not. They can prevent crimes or not.
And it’s not just the FIB… so we can’t blame “the government” for all that goes wrong. Free speech… when does it cross the line… when is free speech a verifiable threat? We can’t/don’t want to censor, right? But, we do allow spying, but only on certain individuals…
So the plan to target this young Christian woman went unnoticed by “everyone”, just like with Charlie.

The quickest way to take down a government is break the deal with its people with regard to its primary purpose: keeping its citizen’s safe.
I think one of the conundrums we face is essentially we are damned if we do, damned if we don’t. This meaning: if we join the crowds of saying our government is hopelessly corrupt and must be taken down, we give the bad guys what they want which is the weakening or destruction of the USA. If do nothing, then they get to take over and just “reform it” to their insane dictatorship, that still has all the power of the current USA to further their evil aims.
I fear we are going to face two choices , neither of which is amendable or acceptable to a slight majority of the nation.
Don’t know where we end up going from here but I’m trying to learn just to watch. “Getting active” locally, which I am very much, doesn’t have any impact on any of this. All we can do is seemingly watch and hope, since apparently no one will get off their duffs and vote for the people PDJT needs them to in any “election” where he isn’t on the ballot. Which of course, cheating and all, is ONE thing we can do to impact this. Just seems like we don’t have the numbers there at this time. Hopefully I’m wrong and/or something changes that fact before 2026. Outlook not that great at the moment, however.

Oddly, I was reading about this activist student syndrome in two different novels written in 1973, both of which I finished yesterday. One was a Dick Francis novel (!) Trial Run, the other was Jerzi Kosinski’s The Devil Tree. The analysis applies to the Brown shooting as well as to the Reiner shooting. Both novels deal with essentially weaponized children whose therapy consists of killing the adult–it’s what field the Red Army attacks in the 60s and 70s–the Meinhardt Baader–which goes back to a German psychoanalyst out of Heidelburg who taught children terrorist therapy to avenge and free themselves of their parents. The children of course became terrorists.
This poor girl certainly chose to go into the Lion’s den for her education. To be involved with College Republicans there alone put her at risk. A friend’s daughter, a strong and intelligent conservative Christian, chose to attend Georgetown to take a stand against the “progressive” drones in the belly of the beast of D.C. She says the professors are often surprisingly good at attempting to allow her perspective, but the fellow students are religious zealots for their political ideology and target her in ways that have made her experience awful.
