The govt shutdown made a mess of the economic data surveying and statistical analysis generally needed for accurate snapshots of the economy. However, the Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) was able to release the September jobs report data {SEE BLS REPORT HERE}.
The geopolitical trade reset continues delivering domestic economic fluctuations, as each sector and specific international dependency reacts to President Trump’s shifts and turns in targeted economic policy. The September jobs report caught the economic pundits off-guard, as it showed a much bigger gain in jobs than they expected.
As noted by MSM, “The US added 119,000 jobs in September, far more than the 53,000 economists expected, and unemployment unexpectedly increased to 4.4% from 4.3%.” President Trump’s immigration enforcement continues to capture and remove illegal alien workers from the U.S. economy. This is also driving up domestic wages.
.

Amazing! If you fall into the sewer formerly known as X you would think everyone has abandoned Trump and MAGA has collapsed. SD is right. Don’t take the bait. Now if all the people who think PDjT is there to satisfy their personal needs and have it done by yesterday they could see the priority is fix the economy and the country and the revenge can wait
Not everyone gives a damn about Candace Owens’ theories or Tucker’s musings on Jews. I read X everyday and like anywhere you’ll find grousing there. But the Ds are so over the top and ridiculous they aren’t making the sale as a serious alternative.
You go into elections with facts and make your case. When the voters get a chance they vote their wallets and their sense of normalcy. ICE is bringing dramatic disruption, which we knew it would, but once the economic data supports the deportations the complaints will sound shrill and petty.
I do.
Good for you. It’s the new shiny object—and you are falling for it. .
Thank you I do as well Bill. Even more important is the younger generation who care and listen to Tucker, Candace and Nick Fuentes. The blatant disregard for this generation is staggering to me. I see and read it everywhere. The Boomers completely disregard their feelings and dismiss them with a flippant “it was worse when we were young, shut up youngster”…..All over the internet and I see it here at the treehouse….The kids are angry, rightfully so. We are dismissive of themand disregard them them at our own peril. This is the generation who will shape our country for years to come and its not looking good…
This generation is a bunch of snowflakes who are entitled and want everything for free. Why? Because they have been told it’s what everyone owes them. They don’t want to work hard to earn anything.
I knew it wouldn’t take long! Thanks bfkkb for proving my point
Thanks Michele!
I work with dozens of gen z’ers. These kids are in various trades and yes they are pissed about the bs that the boomers have allowed to happen. They are pissed about the double standards in the judicial system, they are pissed about the grifting politicians, and they are pissed about all the taxes and fees they pay out of new paychecks. All the stupid crap that us Boomers have allowed to happen.
They are tired all of that and more. Especially the loss of freedom.
Yep. and all the Boomers do (I think I am technically Gen X) is deride them and say suck it up and it “was worse when we were kids”…when, in fact, it was not…I work in employment and the endless stream of recent/2 year grads with no jobs is endless…the visa and offshoring of employment is staggering…they did what they were told, went to college, got loaded up with loans, and now are saddled with debt before they even start out! most are defaulting on…getting jobs (if lucky) as bartenders and retail….and when they complain the response is as above “suck it up kid”…
yeah, these kids are very very angry….they will run our country sooner rather than later….let’s see what they have in store for us….
The intergenerational bickering today on this feed is depressing and counterproductive. Each generation has its challenges. Mine, the Baby Boom, was the first to see most of its women leave the home and join the workforce. Many of us, buying our first or second homes were faced with double digit mortgage rates. Car prices seemingly doubled in the early 80s due to inflation. The so called Greatest Generation gifted us all of that. But, you know what, we sucked it up and worked through it. So let’s quit carping about which generation had it the hardest and get to work making things better for ALL American citizens!
Agree!!!!!!!!!
Ed Dowd, in a discussion I listened to quite a few weeks back now, suggested that after the detritus left by a “Biden” administration, it would take a good year at least before everything President Trump was effecting would be felt by struggling citizens…after all (and to be factual but uncharacteristically unladylike), we all know what runs downhill…
The back biting and accusatory finger pointing serves no purpose except for those who are orchestrating it in the run-up to the 2026 midterms. Demoralization is a virulent poison, and it is being liberally, deliberately spread by operatives within the Democrat Party. And by evil wealthy benefactors like Soros pere et fils, to name only two. There are many, many more.
Divide and conquer…
A house divided against itself cannot stand…
The two pronged modus operandi of the repellent, nefarious many faced enemies of the Republic and despisers of humanity.
If we do not hang together we shall surely hang separately, to paraphrase Benjamin Franklin.
I believe the war being waged against us is an existential one.
So I suggest we gird our loins and secure our Armour…we always knew the war against us would only escalate. And so it has done. We mustn’t give aid and comfort to the enemies which intend to secure permanent power by whatever hideous means.
Blessings to all in our Tree…
We are family…
Please, let’s not forget it.
Amen and Amen, Ms Betsy!
Good, as usual, Betsy… Thanks.
Thank you USMCLt. I am a boomer and I began working at the age of 14 at a Burger King, and continued to work until I had my son at age 24. I sucked it up and stayed home as long as I could while he was young while my retired Marine husband worked his tail off so we could have our little 1-1/2- bedroom, 1 bath house. Then with prices going up thanks to the “demon”crats in the late 70’s, I had to go back to work so we could eat and keep our house, and worked into the early 2000’s and then worked my tail off at our ranch until 2021.
My Grandson went to college for two years and got a job out of college and has been working ever since, so it can be done. They are just lazy and probably chose an easy college course. Should have gone to tech school as those youngsters that did that have great paying jobs and are never without work.
I am tired of being blamed for all their problems. The boomers who are worthless are the overaged hippies and politicians that are boomers and want to keep their wealth and the hell with everyone else. Start putting the blame where it belongs.
I see it everyday, the children are coddled and told they are wonderful, blah blah, blah. They never get dicisplined and they get a trophy and atta boy/girl whether they’ve earned it or not.
There now I am done ranting and getting it out of my system.
Thanks again USMCLt.
Excellent, Pat.
Those hippies with their “free love”, wacky baccy, and disinclination to ready themselves for the adult world of self sustaining work took their failed ideologies and slid into academia (far too many of them) where they could isolate themselves from the world the rest of us lived in…cloistered and marinating in their delusions.
And then proceeded to indoctrinate the university bound generations which followed with their historically illiterate inbreeding.
Institutions of ” higher learning” with steadily increasing costs which saddle ill prepared students with eye watering debt have morphed into nothing like centres of educational excellence which our universities used to be.
My son has a degree in a field which, had he relied upon it, would have left him struggling. But he joined the Navy, was afforded the opportunity to learn a trade based skill for which he developed a passion; and on re-entering civilian life he turned what he knew into a lucrative livelihood.
I noticed when Mr Bessent was speaking of how many jobs and where, he spoke only of manufacturing/trade jobs.
It’s a tragedy that such jobs….blue collar ones…are still viewed in the main as inferior to those for which a degree seems to be preferable, even with the debt which inevitably comes with it.
The blue collar jobs which so many defamed “boomers” had, were good at, and which contributed at one time to making America the exceptional place it was once upon a time…before the political “elites” with absolutely no concept of what those who actually built this country contributed. And then proceeded to destroy the backbone of this nation by offshoring those jobs.
Mirrors are useful things. And I’d hope the younger generations which disparage and blame the older ones condescend to take a good hard look into one or two, consider, discern, grow up, then proceed accordingly. For their own sake…
Mr Bessent, whether he was cognizant of doing so or not, gave them some very good career advice.
A good rant, dear sis.
I applaud you for it.
Years ago I came across a quote complaining about the younger generation disrespecting their elders, showing self entitlement and a general laziness …the quote was from 200 A.D. 🙂
I don’t disagree but there is an element of a victim mentality creeping in that is not productive. Okay, one point I will mention is that although the younger generation is decrying the inability to afford a home they are also the ones demanding their first home be 2800 square feet with all the mod coms and they don’t drive old beater cars.
The generation I grew up in had very modest homes to start with and I never had a new car until my forties. So yes, they are entitled but we allowed that to happen as well.
Who told these people to get saddled up with loans for a 2 year degree? In my state, Pell grants have covered everything including free tuition for illegals / new immigrants. I don’t know of anyone suggesting to take out a loan. In fact all i here is people warning against it.
Communism is what.
Listen to yourself Michele. How are you being any different than the Boomers you are railing on.
Agree with you Michele. Have a 28 year old still in the home due to the increases in rent, etc. She doesn’t want to be here.
Now. What could be defined as “evil”. Could evil be defined as always thinking goals can’t be achieved, there’s no way out? That you’ve played by the rules, and it’s all for naught? That what you normally saw growing up was no un attainable? That persons basically fresh off the boat are living in much nicer digs, driving much nicer wheels then
they are? Could evil be defined as the complete opposite of hope? I think we’re there. I also think that we are not
participating in the one thing that the Z generation was doing in droves a few months back.
Returning to Christ. They’ve figured out that it messes things up when you rely on man to correct the issues
that man has created. Encourage them in this belief. It’s also the reason that we’re hearing about college professors
hijacking turning point USA meetings and bad mouthing participants as “evil” . It’s evil recognizing possible
“good” and preventing it from happening. Relying on man to correct their interpretation of “evil”. Because,
otherwise , they might actually have to reflect on what the spiritual definition of “evil” is. What they actually
see in the mirror.
They NEED to return to the Lord. Period! Stop being so P —- ed about everything and get moving.
Nothing new under the sun. Do you think this all just started? The Rockefeller and JP Morgan types have always existed. The well connected and rich have always had the advantage. Taxes put into place well before the boomers came along. Kingdoms, surfs and taxes. What did Matthew do for a living? Wasn’t it a Judicial system the put Jesus on a tree? Boomers no, nothing new under the sun. If you want to blame someone maybe Adam and Eve.
It is all just chasing the wind. Can’t beat Ecclesiastes.
hey Bugsdaddy, based on all the responses I see below, our point has been proven in a huge way. The Gen Z’s will be getting no help or understanding from the Boomers or others. I fear for what our country will become with these angry youngsters…they are being called spoiled and derided…sad sad shame what has become of other generations…anyone watching Nick Fuentes for 5 minutes will see what is coming their way
Boomer here, graduated from high school in 1978, in the middle of the Jimmy Carter malaise. High unemployment, double digit inflation and double digit interest rates. I grew up in family of 6 children, and was handed nothing. I do think Gen Z is a whining bunch generally, but I can appreciate that transportation, housing, insurance is much higher now than it was then. The problem is Gen Z is looking for Uncle Sam to solve the problems they created with tax and monetary policy
Boomers are not 1978 grads. I can tell you being 10 years old in 1955 was nothing like being 10 years old in 1965. Or being 10 years old in 1975. or 1985.
It’s nonsensical to lump everyone born in a 20 year span together. It makes no sense.
Gen Z is simply screwing over the generations following them right now by not fixing everything right now.
I don’t care if Gen Z doesn’t have the power to do anything right now.
All the generations before fixed everything before they had power to do so.
The intergenerational thing is just so moronic.
Indeed; want to talk about entitled? I mentioned that social security should be capped on people earning over 6 digits a year and you would have thought I was a pedophile by the reaction. You are pulling in over a million a year in income and going to lose your mind over $2000-$3000 a month in government cheese? God almighty they won’t be happy till they have stripped the cupboard bare.
Not sure which generation you’re talking about & regardless I think you’re painting with a very broad brush.
My son is a Sr in HS. He’s taking college physics with calculus. He’s going to graduate HS with an Associates degree and plans to study aerospace engineering.
He also has a part time job and helps us with a charity (Op Christmas Child). He’s not a snowflake and doesn’t expect anything for free.
You may well be one of the rare (seemingly) families that “did it right”.
To bfkkb,
That has not been my experience with generation Z. My daughter is working (full time) while going to college, she will have no student loan debt. She’s a future conservative teacher who wants marriage and a family.
She and her friends work hard but they have grievances and rightly so.
1. They know they will be responsible for the huge debt being left to them.
2. They can’t find jobs.
3. They can’t afford apartments much less a home.
4. Cost of basic necessaries is still too high. Gas, food, electricity, etc.
They see the system for what it has become. Corrupt and out of touch with American citizens.
It’s our leaders who want everything for themselves by hook or crook including the old south slave system that is currently at the indentured servant phase. It is total greed. How do you expect them to respond? Look at the world they are being left. What happened to our promise to leave them a world better than we had? They have been betrayed.
Your daughter chose a Major in Education knowing that jobs are scarce and starting pay is low..I did the same thing in 1977. It took me until 1994 to get a full time teaching job in PA, where starting pay was high. I worked as a waitress, RE Agent, banker and admin asst prior to getting my teaching job.I managed to buy a home with 300 out of pocket at 7% interest rate.. I suggest your daughter change her major or plan on moving to a state where they need teachers(FL Marion Co starts at $48000) and housing is low.
She is still in college. Finding a job while in college to pay for college is the problem.
She is no dummy and has her eyes wide open. The district she will be placed in is the highest paying district in Georgia and the college arranges her placement after graduation. She gets a contract.
She is not looking to be the primary bread winner. As I stated she and her fiancé want children, 3 to 4 children. She wants a traditional marriage.
She is not chasing wealth, she wanted a profession that is fulfilling and that she is passionate about. A lot of gen Z are going this direction for a happier life. As far as I am concerned, it’s good to see.
The bottom line for me is this:
I still 100% back President Trump and MAGA. The issue is with the GOPe. They are not backing MAGA and the President. They are not codifying any of the Executive Orders into law. They are just chasing shiny objects and running out the clock.
Trump has stopped the possibility of WWIII and fixed trade. He is now pivoting to jobs and the economy. It takes time.
He just needs good messaging. I am sure it’s coming. Full speed ahead!
He knows the consequences for us and for his family. Bigly! He will not fail.
From everything we hear and see, being a “conservative teacher” is no picnic. Is she prepared for the opposition?
Oh yes.
We have talked about it at length and saw it first hand with a wonderful conservative science teacher when she was in middle school. She was able to navigate high school and kept her beliefs. She was outraged by the subversive tactics.
It was shocking to hear what she was up against. One teacher even threatened to make life hell for any student who told their parents what she was saying and they started calling her. Threatened failing grades, etc.
She’s not afraid of the fight.
Another broad brush. My grands do not fit that category. If your family does fit it, you’ve got some work to do.
Homes have always been hard. When I was a Z’s age I needed 20% cash down. It was out of reach for me until I was in my late 30’s after years of sacrifice and savings. Owned several homes and never had a mortgage. Leaned the trades and bought the worst house on the block and fixed it.
Never owned a vehicle that was within 10 years of being new and most of them never seen a mechanic other than myself. Had to go to the library and read books to learn how to repair them. Today you have it easy with YouTube how to videos.
Really don’t see that some of these things have changed so much. It’s all about priority’s. I have found God will provide what we need not necessarily what we want.
” Even more important is the younger generation who care and listen to Tucker, Candace and Nick Fuentes. The blatant disregard for this generation is staggering to me. I see and read it everywhere. The Boomers completely disregard their feelings and dismiss them with a flippant “it was worse when we were young, shut up youngster”
75% Of Gen Z take their parents on job interviews and they listen to Nick Fuentes, Tucker Carlson and vote for Mamdani.
…and you want us to take them seriously?
Suck it up cupcakes! Signed—boomer
They disregard their FEELINGS???? Of heavens no! Not their feelings
Broad brush there.
You are right that the younger generation Like the generations before it is looking for fast track answers.
You could chalk it up to the instant gratification of TicToc but that would be a mistake. We all took short cuts to knowledge in our youth and developed our own trusted sources.
These were mine; Cliff Notes, Walter Chronkite, Martin Luther King, John Lennon, Alan Watts, Eric Frohm, Jimmy Carter and the list goes on.
Each had their place, but in youth we trust our sources as imperical. We dont have time to chase truth, instead we look for those things in juxstaposition to our elders.
Facism is a populist movement it requires a justification for force. Preferable a readily identifable group that has a history that can be called up.
Germany had a long history of playing the blame game with the Gypsies and the Roma people. They leverage that mind set of Racism to ratchet up the Jew hatred. After all the trope that the Jews killed Jesus had carried water through out Europe for Centuries.
They then leveraged the Jewish banker trope that was all the rage on Wall street with the industrialists.
SO. Am I accusing Tucker, Candace, and Fuentes of rolling in Fascism. In truth I have serious concerns with Fuentes, the other 2 NO. Tucker tends toward contrarienism and Candance, I see alot of click bait in her reporting.
Fasicsm is always just under the surface ready to be.the political answer for a failing political class.
Unfortunately that nuance is lost for now on the tictoc generation just as it was lost on us. We knew “Fasicm bad” and some of us knew its players and workings. We understood it as super rascism.
What was missed was the universal and organic nature of blaming others for our failures. It is that little piece of sociopath.that exists in all and is easily manipulated.
History Ryhmes. Watch Europe they will decide.to move against their immigrant class. Something that needs.to be.done if they are to retain nationstate status (easy to identify, history of Jihad)
The size, age and most rescent history of violence of the migrant class and there self ghettoisation makes them an easy focus. (easy to identify, history of Jihad)
The current levelnof chaos almost guarantees the rise of a Fascist Power.
The current group of leaders will introduce it. They have already begun the shift in position.
The current position is we did not welcome the immigrant invasion the Russians pushed them in.
So they leverage the existing failures and frustrations with Russia to fuel the fires. And begin the slight of hand.
I belive 2030 Is not about Russia it will be the deadline for ethnic cleaning. The current leadership group will grease the skids and set it up just in time for true dark forces to take over the leader ship and minds of Europe.
Europeans are use to kings . A strong leader would have no problem taking all of Europe with only bribes, promise, and a populist mandate.
In truth this is what may fuel their “apparent irrational “focus on Russia. What they may fear most from Putin, He cannot take over Europe by force but could easily control a mandate to ally into a mandate to retain. Crimea and Donbus the models.
If your looking for evidence going forward watch for european purchases of relatively short range weapons rather than long range missles and bombers. Expect to see straffing drones and helos on the wish list
Do tell…..
Amen. Democrats polling at 16% favorability and get 55% of the vote…….. The voter fraud is massive.
Soon the Turnout in blue states will top 90% like the old Soviet Union. A few of them will not get their system straight and will top 100%.
Obama got 140 and 150 percent of the vote in some cities.
Apparently, people don’t understand how that happens.
Facts in politics rarely change anybody’s mind. Obama ran on Hope and Change. Facts are optional in politics. People vote on emotion far more than logic.
Noted. Thank you.
That is excellent point: PDJT is not here to satisfy our personal needs and have it done yesterday. His priority is to fix the economy and the country.
Revenge is not a healthy spiritual principle. Justice is the Lord’s. Government and appointed people are supposed mete out justice fairly. We have a mechanism for that – in our own judicial system. But is broken and will not be effective until we re-empower the people economically
Justice demands the economy for the People be righted first, then stopping , then punishing the perpetrators and abusers.
Fixing the economy = power to the people.
The greatest return on investment for any of us is helping others learn and follow the principles of our Creator, doing that by letting the fruit of our own conversion be something that others desire.
President Trump is ministering to us by opening our eyes to the sin of our dependence and expectation to be taken care of, and the destruction being caused to our country and each of us personally by world wide predators.
What can we do? Back MAGA in all government functions, carry the message of MAGA to everyone. Study so that we can answer questions about why MAGA is better than communism, socialism, wokeism, Islam, hedonism economically and politically.
The most powerful contribution we can make to MAGA is to show others how submission to the will and Truths of our Creator is the fastest pathway to a happy and functional/purposeful life – and that our Creator designed us to be fulfilled in Him and doing His will, reflecting His glory. That our joy comes from loving and serving others, helping them optimize their own lives.
Communism and Socialism destroy
Islam conquers and destroys both the Muslim and non muslim.
The love of money and power, physical pleasure, emotional experiences are dead end pursuits that destroy.
Leading others to be followers and disciples so that they too seek to serve others — That is about the most powerful return on investment that any of us can ever make to others and the world.
Effort that strengthens and causes growth in our own character: That is the best return on investment we can make to ourselves.
Great post.
Thank you Country Doc. Wonderful comment. You are greatly appreciated.
Amen. Start talking to persons grousing about things that are actually going to work towards achieving better solvency for the US.
Many of the things that are being achieved also has another spill over improvement. It’s drying up the bribes/ mischief making money for the bad guys/ NGOs and globalists.
Every time a big drug bust/ confiscation happens, it’s money back in our pockets in the long run. Less ODs, less medical deaths, fewer burial expenses. It’s money out of the pockets of the Cartels, gangs, judges that are bribed, politicians that are bribed, bad cops that are paid to look the other way. It’s also possible that it’s money out of the pockets of hedge funds. Narcotic sales have been used to “balance
the books” for the big boys for decades. Katherine Austin Fitts can tell you all about it.
Talk about the jobs that are being promised, by trade deals. Ask your friends when you tell them about it if they have heard anything regarding it. The answer will, of course be no. Then, ask your friends if they ever hear anything being said about major goals that Trump has achieved.
Again, the answer will be no. Then, simply remind them that the MSM is required to only say bad things about Trump. Ask them if they are achieving that goal by omitting anything that might be consider favorable towards him.
Ask them how much better a given area’s safety will be afterwards by getting rid of Tren de Argua gangs. Some of then might even know of persons that live nearby. Ask them to give a call to those friends, and see if things are getting safer in the areas where it used to be bad.
Basically: when you hear your friends and acquaintances being eeyores, ask them to do a little homework, and start keeping track of things like I’ve just cited. Tell them the chances that they hear it from the press are few, less, and none. They will know why. They might even considerrewiring their thinking a little.
Ad rem: Can you reformat the above, pretty please? I apologize for my complete lack of computer skills. It’s an ongoing curse.
Might even read up on how to do better. Thanks.
😘
Thanks.
Well done, President Trump!!
MAGA FABULOUS!! 👊👊🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸

Making mirrors is a job I could see myself doing 🙂
A reflective comment for all to contemplate.
I see what you did there.
This comment reflects on you in a positive light
I’m thrilled every time I hear an illegal alien isn’t showing up for work, or keeps their kids home from school. Go home! Take the free flight and collect the incentive check!
20% of Charlotte NC students stayed home monday fearing ICE..Did a little research and found that almost 50% of Charlotte residents are foreign born..wow.
Even a bitterly determined media and DS can’t hide the truth forever. The times, they are a changin, even on the heels of an intentionally disastrous previous administration and its planted land mines.
Guess the markets didn’t like this news, another big drop today.
That’s not why the Markets went down. We needed a well to do correction from the highs so tomorrow could see a bounce and maybe one more low into the end of November. Once this happens, it’s off to all time highs again.
I realize President Trump is gaslighting the economy and there’s just certain things he should probably keep to himself as it doesn’t bode well for confidence. Nonetheless, it’s Trump, so regardless, you’re seeing a correction in the markets.
Everyone will actually get a second opportunity to go long the market soon.
One would think with this kind of good news the markets would have rally
Yes, one would think that. But since the lows back in April, the markets had a tremendous bull run and a serious correction was needed, not those tiny sell-offs we were getting. Expect a little more downside. This is where the guru’s get their chance just like they did back in April, ya know, “The sky is falling” BS. It’s been that way for many years, it used to be the newspapers but now it’s CNBC, Fox business, Bloomberg, etc. like Fangdog said, “cycles.” Everything is cyclical.
When you can learn the structure of the markets, you‘ll never , ever, listen to these folks again.
Lots of profits to take.
The markets have normal Bull and Bear cycles within cycles. It has been this way since forever. There are cycles within cycles and it is perfectly normal.
Hi stake crap shoot …. One must pay attention at all times! 🙂
It’ll level out…..
How many other billionaires would take a bullet for the middle class.
Bless that man.
The Schumer Shutdown, as Bessent says, will depress the GDP and other numbers that would have been much more favorable had it not occurred.
Dems are doing all they can to subvert the economy.
That’s how much they love their countrymen.
Can I hate them more?
Perhaps but not nearly as much as they hate US
As a Trader, I want to express what is going on.
When I’m looking to take a position, long or short, it serves me no purpose to cherry pick the news, good or bad. The markets are controlled by algorithms but they follow the up and down movements with precision. Our country has a serious debt problem, CC debt reached $1.3T, autos are hitting records for repossessions, household debt is also at all time high, bankruptcies are climbing both personal and business.
I read the the numbers the day they come out, I watch what the Federal Reserve is doing, I see that Quantitative Tightening is ending December 1st, the banks reached a four year low on reserves at $2.8T. The Treasury has been loading up on cash reserves which removes the banks reserves along with QT from the Fed. Businesses are hesitant in hiring according to the Fed, unemployment is up and will most likely go higher.
These are the things, plus much more I look at. $38T in government debt is not the concern, the concern is selling new debt to pay off the old debt because without that, our country collapses. Markets go up when Capital flees other countries debt problems. War, Borrowing and Spending are the major causes for inflation.
We can blame everyone else for our issues of why things are the way they are but what I’m expressing above is all that matters, the rest is for you to rinse and repeat. So blame whoever or whatever makes you happy because that keeps the “Shiny objects” always in play.
Nicolae Ceaușescu managed to pay off the Socialist Republic of Romania’s external debt in full. The people; however, did not like living in abject poverty and being worked as slaves for years to accomplish that objective and so it ended with Nicolae and his wife being put against a wall and machine gunned to death for it. What’s a communist dictator to do?
Sovereign debt repudiation creates more problems than it solves so that’s off the table. The U.S. government will likely eventually resort to a planned “financial repression” (an implicit form of debt monetization) in which inflation is raised to erode the real value of the national debt over a decade or two. So $1,000 becomes worth $100. Afterwards, they may adjust the currency (i.e., redenomination). The generation they do it to will suffer but it gives the next generation a new start.
That’s why the Genius Act was passed aka. Stablecoin. I’ve known since 2013 digital currencies were coming.
We are the only country that has never cancelled its currency and that’s why our dollar is the world’s reserve currency.
Stablecoin is where we are headed. Digital ID’s and Digital wallets is what’s in our future. 1n 1996, the NSA created Bitcoin, I actually have the documents. And what are the initials of the creator of Bitcoin who mysteriously can’t be found? lol…
The U.S. government will put a Stablecoin into their mix and promote it. Time will tell. Were you getting into Bitcoin in 2013? At the start of 2013, a bitcoin sold for $13 and by November it was up to $1,132. Time to sell, check please. Then the bitcoin bubble popped for the first time lol.
It will be interesting to see what the U.S. government backs Stablecoin with. I’d like to see a market basket approach, a mix of various items rather than just back it with our fiat currency.
Have you seen the deficit lately?
Yes, the U.S. national debt is approximately $38,000,000,000,000 as of November 2025. VoteAllIncumbantsOut is asserting the government has a plan to eliminate the national debt in the context of a currency swap from our fiat currency to a national Stablecoin. I’m suggesting they may use inflation to remove a zero from the national debt. Maybe they’ll do both, or more, or something else, or nothing at all. My crystal ball is broken. Last time I tried to use it I got “Reply hazy, try again” and then when I tried after that it read “Don’t count on it” so I guess we’ll just see.
Really? is that all Ceaușescu did to suffer the fate that he did?
By all do you mean was that 100 percent of the reason? Well, no but it was a primary driver along with other drivers. Do you live in an all or nothing world? Is something everything or nothing to you at all times? Asking for a friend.
Didn’t the Weimar Republic try that to pay off their war debts? It didn’t work out too well.
The Weimar Republic’s debt obligations were about twice of its annual gross domestic product. As of 2025, the United States’ national debt is projected to reach approximately 125.4% of its annual Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by the end of this year. In both cases, the total national debt is greater than the country’s annual economic output. But they had hyper-inflation to deal with, we aren’t experiencing that. Inflation yes, but not hyper-inflation. In the Weimar Republic, a loaf of bread cost 3 marks in 1922 but 80 billion by late 1923. Now that’s HYPER-inflation.
The Fed has stated it will nevertheless continue to burn off MBS security holdings. I haven’t kept track on its policy statements vis retiring holdings as they mature.
Guess we’ll learn more once the new chair is ensconced next Feb. Rate cuts likely in order as 2026 AI driven white collar job losses mount.
You are spot on vis Federal debt. How does the trillions in investment deals PDJT has achieved play into future prognostications? How do the obvious attempts by the left wing of the Dem party and aligned RINOs to tank the economy play in all of this?
“$38T in government debt is not the concern, the concern is selling new debt to pay off the old debt because without that, our country collapses. Markets go up when Capital flees other countries debt problems. War, Borrowing and Spending are the major causes for inflation.”
The first rule of holes: When you find yourself in one, stop digging.
We haven’t stopped digging.
Commodities and necessities will be King, after the economic collapse.
Trade and barter will be the “coin of the realm”. Those that have something to trade or barter with will be in good position to survive the debacle; assuming, of course, that they can keep others from stealing and robbing their commodities and food.
For 2025, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) reports there have been 135,137 H1b visas given to foreign born workers to work inside the U.S. for U.S. companies displacing U.S. native born citizens from those jobs. For comparison; in 2024 the number of H1b visas given were 188,400 so 2025 represents a noticeable decrease in the overall number of H1b visas given out.
135,137/12=11,261 averaged H1b visas for the month of September in 2025 (but in reality September’s usually a slower month for H1b visas so it’s likely under 10,000). 199,000 new jobs-11,261 H1b visas for September 2025= 187,739 jobs that did not go to H1b visas so that’s a real improvement over last years.
For comparison, the BLS August 2023 data showed that over 1.2 million native-born Americans lost jobs from July to August 2023. However, over the same period, nearly 700,000 new jobs went to foreign-born workers and boosted foreign-born employment to a record high inside the U.S.. See https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/empsit.pdf
President Trump is to thank for this amazing turn around. The data is definitely trending in the right direction now. More jobs are being created inside the U.S. with relatively few of them going to foreign-born workers. We like this, we like this a lot. :).
2025 has a month snd a half left to go. Division by 12 is inaccurate, unless this is some govt fiscal year thing.
Federal fiscal year is October 1-September 30, btw.
I was just averaging 12 months for a very rough estimate. Very rough. No worries.
I just watched the movie The Big Short. I learned a lot that I didn’t know. I remember that time well. I was just cruising along with no debt and a $1k per month house payment. I don’t remember what it did to my 401k. The movie really shows how dumb Wall Street was/is. I think it was on Prime.
The book is even better.
I’m always amazed at how off expectations are, and how contradictory govt numbers are.
Jobs increased yet unemployment went up.
The increase in jobs exceeded expectations.
Yet dismal jobs expectations weren’t expected to increase unemployment?
I’m guessing you might not have listened too closely. Bessent explained it.
Driving up domestic wages, wages that stay in the country. Wages that are not wired to some other economy.
Like those polling numbers are accurate? Democrats fake everything.
Great comment on the Biden people told us that things were great when they were terrible. Democrats fake the numbers, all the numbers. Their policies lead to failure.
Once you quit watching these kinds of things….fake face, fake lips, fake questions. It is a chore to watch. Bessent is really really good. Maybe radio will make a comeback…… when the interviewers have blue hair and nose rings
Check out Micheal Crichton “Gell-Mann Amnesia Effect”. He will describe it far better than myself. It will not shock me if you are already familiar. Carry on.
Was not familiar with it but have lived it. It was a great explanation of what we do. Finally quit completely all the fake news. I hung on to the NYPost for an aggregator but the anti Trump slipped in all the time was finally too much. The truth is much more work. But seeking the truth makes the Treehouse much more valuable. Sundance is great and the Treepers are also pretty darn good.
These are the successes that the entire administration needs to be trumpeting. The socialists are working the “affordability crisis” angle of attack as though PDJT47 demolished the sterling economy of President Autopen, and the holiday season is the perfect time to do it.
Poor little Johnny and Joanie won’t get the latest $2000 smartphone under the tree this year because of the Orange Menace and his hyper-destructive tariff war, the kidnapping and deportation of billions of hard-working undocumented Americans, and the massive tax breaks he gave to his billionaire and millionaire cronies.
The socialists have already announced their plans to shut the government down again in January over 0bama’s Unaffordable Care Act subsidies because they know that’s one way to help tank the economy.
Sometimes I don’t think there are ANY grownups in the room. Hhhhh. Happy thanksgiving treepers…….im taking a break. God bless!
How many more times do the so-called “experts” get “unexpected” good news before we stop even listening to them? They have been wrong for so long regarding America First that they need to have all of their prestigious degrees revoked, along with any awards like the Nobel Prize in Economics, and start again from the bottom.
While its refreshing to hear of jobs increasing, it would be uplifting if they’d talk of growth in various states. NC, SC, KY, etc. is often mentions as well as several others but what of those who are watching and wondering ‘what about our state’. Just like elections, it sometimes seems there are the valued states while others never hear a word about them. It would be more optimistic to know you a valued too.
The good news is adding 119,000 jobs in September.
The bad news is that 43,000 of them were in healthcare, and nearly all of those were in non-care providing positions.
The monster that is a fifth of our economy just keeps growing. Can you afford it?
And if SCOTUS rules against Trump on tariffs, and the fans are refunded, all of this is a moot point, we collapse
Congress needs to legislate the tariffs into effect and make the SCOTUS case moot.
But Congress (controlled by Republicans, but not MAGA) will not codify any of Trump’s executive orders.
Think about that.
The supposed split in maga is fictional, as Tucker & Candace are on an island with their Israel conspiracy pap.
A couple of things, that immediately come to mind, that will be good news in the coming months are the requirements of 80 hours a month that people need to work in order to get Snap benefits, and the construction industry will be forced to TRAIN people in construction as their cheap foreign labor is deported. 😊😊
The BLS has been lying about the unemployment data for years to twist it into a politically advantageous number. Just because Trump is in office doesn’t change that fact. I simply don’t trust them to publish accurate data.
Good news is ALWAYS “unexpected” when a Republican is in office.
My progressive left relatives are telling me that the US economy is now in a free fall because of Trump’s tariffs and will be in a serious recession if not a full-blown depression by the fall of 2026. This is clearly their hope, anyway.
Sorry…unfortunately, most families have one or two nut jobs. 😆
Roughly 80% of my extended family relatives are progressive left, twenty people or so. Facts mean nothing to them, because most of them are well off financially from inherited wealth and inhabit a world which doesn’t suffer from the downsides of fifty years of sending our jobs offshore.
Very interesting watching Ingraham’s facial reactions to Bessent’s comments.
Head slightly shaking no. Sour puss smirk. It’s obvious someone is talking into her ear giving instructions what to do next.
To think how many people once thought she may have been an America First gal and Trump supporter need to get a cup of scalding hot coffee thrown into their faces to wake up.
Great picture!
In order for both employment and unemployment to go up , the labor force has to be getting larger. It could be that some of the adults who were both not working and not looking for work have heard that there are good-paying jobs available and have started applying for them. Indeed, the Labor Force Participation Rate has been starting to tick upward:
How many of those jobs went to American and how many to others?
I estimate somewhere north of 187,739 of them went to U.S. workers legally able to work in the U.S.. That includes foreign-born green card holders, those with dual-citizenship, etc. in addition to U.S. native born citizens though.
And as Old Bama Guy pointed out, “43,000 of them were in healthcare, and nearly all of those were in non-care providing positions.”
Just wondering if the 43000 health care may be a result of reshoring billing clerical and tech support. I know the big boys are all jumping on AI for customer service and tech support fired tons of oversea workers thats alot of cross continent chatter.
Bo mbay is taking big cuts right now. I wonder how much of the infrastructure of that is being restore here. Might be nivia chips involved that can’t leave or, leave in significant enough numbers. 2 or 3 to 100 I imagine to run the machines and field what cant be program handled
