There have been many reports of Christians being slaughtered in Africa, specifically in northern Nigeria.
A recent study by The Observatory for Religious Freedom in Africa, found more than 11,000 incidents of extreme violence from October 2019 through September of 2023. The violence left 55,910 people dead in 9,970 deadly attacks — as well as 21,621 people abducted in 2,705 attacks. {DATA HERE} Things have only gotten worse in the past two years.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has been pleading for help. “In a press release issued on Wednesday and made available to SaharaReporters, CAN said the scale of killings and displacement facing Christians had reached alarming proportions and demanded urgent, transparent action from the government and security agencies. “CAN affirms, without hesitation, that many Christian communities in parts of Nigeria, especially in the North, have suffered severe attacks, loss of life, and the destruction of places of worship,” the statement read.”

A likely viable solution, apart from sending US military after the perpetrators, is for the president to authorize US citizens free passage to the problem destination and US military-supplied small arms for them to “see to the problem as they see fit”.

2. Pressure all nations everywhere to enact economic sanctions against Nigeria and to punish all businesses and corporations who do business with Nigeria.
3. President Trump should issue a proclamation asking all Christians and all Christian churches worldwide to pray continually for the Nigerian Christians who are being slaughtered.
Continue to proclaim the truth and pour sunlight on the genocide. God and the truth are a force more powerful than all of the armies in the world.

I have twice been to Nigeria on 2-week short term missions, the first time to support Phyllis Sorter and help at a Christian school she was beginning for the Fulani tribe, among the lowest stratum of people in the country. The second trip in 2011 was to assemble wheelchairs to distribute at two locations, one of which was in the north. There had been violence shortly before our planned trip, our host church had been burned and its members chased. That we went at all is a testament to the Holy Spirit and Phyllis’ fortitude and divine calling.

I was so happy to see that Trump is giving this attention. Christian genocide! And it’s happening in more places than Nigeria.
Most Christians in Nigeria live in the Southern part of the country. This is a problem, but not due to the rationale being provided. There are Christians in the North, but to a much lesser extent than the south. The country is divided mostly on ethnic/ tribal lines much more so than on religious lines. The skirmishes are commonplace and less to do about religion and more on rivalries. This is not to downplay the issue, but I don’t think we understand the grasp of the issue.
Please, lets focus on issues at home rather than crashing into another contrived event.

There is so much discrimination against Christians in all Muslim lands. In the Middle East, Christians are being done away with in many countries. The only country in the Middle East in which the number of Christians has actually risen is Israel. If you have been to Israel you know that Israel protects all Christian religious sites from harm.
So many countries in the world that were once Christian countries are now Muslim countries. And the Muslims now want to make all of Europe Islamic as well as to make America part of the Islamic caliphate.
