I hope POTUS does not agree to give Z the Tomahawk missiles. IMO, this would be a YUGE mistake.
Russia knows that any Tomahawks launched against Russia could only happen with the direct help and support of US military personnel operating the missiles. Such attacks would likely be viewed as direct attacks against Russia by the United States. And, Medvedev has recently said that Russia would have no way of knowing if an incoming Tomahawk is carrying a nuclear warhead (Tomahawks are nuclear capable).
IMO, it would be very dangerous and an incredible act of stupidity to give the Ukrainians Tomahawk missiles at this juncture.
This could precipitate a direct conflict between the US and Russia, and would certainly and unnecessarily escalate the risk of broadening the war. Russia will not play nice and will not play diplomatic if they are attacked with Tomahawks.

Anybody else notice that Zelenskyy is STILL talking as if Ukraine is going to be a member of NATO??? He even said it was not for anyone else to determine that, when asked about peace talks. Meaning, the US doesn’t get to have any say in the matter.
He went on to say that security would be the most important thing in negotiations, and there was no better security than being a part of NATO.
I love President Trump but he seems to continue to believe this conflict can be negotiated; this guy sitting in front of him has no intention of abandoning the main issue which stirred up the whole war. I rather President Trump not waste his time.

Tomahawks feels like another look, squirrel moment. They are inferior to the British Storm Shadows, which have done very little damage, just most notably the spans and pylons on the Kerch bridge.
