“In recent weeks, federal agents used several City-owned properties—including parking lots near Harrison and Kedzie, and a vacant lot at 46th and Damen—as staging sites for immigration enforcement,” the mayor’s office said in a release about the order. “Such use of City property undermines community trust and runs counter to Chicago’s Welcoming City Ordinance, which ensures that all residents—regardless of immigration status—can live, work, and seek services without fear.”

The Illinois Governor, Chicago mayor and police requested immediate assistance from the FBI and DOJ to help find these terrorist.
The FBI and DOJ replied that they have limited resources and will not assist in the investigation. The Illinois and Chicago governments sue and demand that this is a terrorist issues and demands assistance and resources to find and arrest the people responsible.
It goes to court and a Trump appointed judge rules it’s a local issue and local problem. The DOJ and FBI have no jurisdiction to get involved in a local crime issue.
So what would be the response of Illinois government officials, Establishments Media, Leftist,etc.
I suspect they would say the Trump admin is protecting White Supremest, he directed them to blow the building up, he’s anti Chicago, on an on.

What is so specular about the National Guard?
There are tens of thousands of ICE, CBP and FBI Agents. The FBI alone has 13,700 special agents. The Border Patrol has 19,500 agents. ICE has more than 20,000 law enforcement and support personnel , so maybe half law enforcement?
Why not send in several hundred of them ? Or a thousand if needed? They are probably better trained and better disciplined than weekend warriors anyway.
All those law enforcement agents are spread across the nation and working on various missions. Not all of them are going to be available for Chicago operations in the near term.
Beside the point anyway, the Illinois Guardsmen can supplement the CPD and ICE with maintaining security of the Federal detention facilities with their manpower freeing up law enforcement agents needed for deportation operations in a hostile environment.
I wouldn’t even involve the FIB anyways, they would be coordinating with local Antifa.
