I met Rob about 5-6 yrs ago. I happened to being sitting directly behind him at a show. It was John Cleese & Eric Idle of Monty Python (they showed old MP clips and told funny stories). Anywho, Rob and I chatted briefly before the show started. He was nice and I’m glad he’s one of us.
I figured no one man or woman could replace Charlie. I’m glad they have a team to keep the fight going.

But, I think he will be great at doing what Charlie did on campuses. If he is trying to get publicity for his governor race and further political races, this is a win-win.

The available Republican choices for governor were not obvious, and Ramaswamy runs the table without much issue. So while, there are questions re Ramaswamy (his H1B position gives me hives), he is young, and looks long ahead, and eyes the presidency.
That sets up the situation in a way that may well profit Ohio. Ramaswamy will want to establish a record of accomplishment that can be sold nationwide to MAGA. We’ll see if given lemons, we can end up with lemonade. At least insofar as the next years for Ohio.

I haven’t watched Glenn Beck much since he left TV, but I occasionally hear him when I flip to Triumph on Sirius XM and I have never heard him say anything about religion. But again I don’t listen faithfully. On the day after Charlie’s murder, he was crying so hard on a video I saw that he could hardly speak. His daughter was there in the crowd in front of Charlie and called them after the shooting.

Saw a clip this morning of some kids interviewed on the U. Minn. campus. Several supporters of Charlie, and a few that admitted their views were polar opposite. Whoever was in charge of Charlie Kirk’s security detail should be tried for involuntary manslaughter. Before Charlie Kirk was killed I watched at most 30 to 45 minutes total of little two and three minute clips on YouTube of Charlie going toe to toe with some over privileged college student. I thought they were funny, I knew of Charlie’s work but after Trump’s election November 2024 the Left was rapidly was losing ground on all of their sick causes. Last night I watched on YouTube, “Charlie Kirk vs. Texas A&M”. It has Part 1 and Part 2. Each are over one hour long. Not that I have any problems of what Charlie was delivering to the college students but after Butler, PA any roof top is a potential sniper’s nest. Getting to Trump is a hardened target but Charlie in a college quadrangle is an easy target. Get up close to the tent, shove a gun through the crowd and get off at least three rounds before being stopped. Oh you say he wears a bullet proof vest, sure but getting pumped full of lead in your gut, or in your leg or perhaps the perp hits your head will ruin your day. Just look what happened to Governor George Wallace or Larry Flynt when a bullet hits your spinal cord. I’m just as heart broken at Charlie’s death as anyone else because he was saying what I’ve been saying for the last fifteen years but I’m not sitting under a tent surrounded by liberal 18 to 21 year old men telling snowflakes how they have been brain washed by the left and MSM. Glad to see others take up the cause in Charlie’s name but no one will ever hold a candle to his legacy.
It is great that they are reaching out to a range of voices to represent Turning Point on the college tour. However, they need to make sure none of them veer off on their own to push their own agendas, which may not match what Turning Point would want to say, and might even tar them with supporting views that Charlie Kirk would not have supported. Their presence at these events needs to honor him rather than deflect from his legacy by stirring unwelcome controversy. I speak mostly about Tucker Carlson, though others might veer off as well.
Maybe these guest speakers should agree in advance to speak only to specific topics and only from points of view that reflect what Turning Point is on record agreeing with. Some debaters from the audience will try to get them off course, so they should be prepared to say “I would be happy to engage on that topic, but at one of my own events and not at a Turning Point event” or something like that. Otherwise maybe some of these speakers would be best left off the schedule.
