The Utah Dept of Public Safety and FBI held a press conference to announce the arrest of Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old Utah resident, for the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
According to details released to the Daily Mail, the killer confessed to his father Matt Robinson, a member of law enforcement. His father, a 27-year-member of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, then contacted authorities and secured his son before he could be taken into custody.

He showed (without the most gory pics), how you could see Charlie was wearing a vest, the type of vest most likely worn, still frames showing how his T-shirt moved from the bullet, indicating the bullet hit just under the collar of his t-shirt (the hole in the shirt) and it ricocheted upward, entering his neck.
From what I saw,( slowed down) somewhere, the bullet hit the left side of his chest ( heart area) and seemed to veer up ,like bouncing off into his left neck side. Just awful to watch

Second, a decent hunter with a little practice and properly sited scope can shoot a rifle from a standing position braced against a tree and hit a 1 foot circle from 200 yards (many deer kill shots are made from this distance). Forgiveness is extremely hard for even the best Christian. If you believe scripture God’s divine Word, forgiveness is something to consider. It is something I work on every day. Satan would love for everyone to never forgive, and hold the anger so it tears the people he hates apart.

It’s possible to forgive someone and still seek the death penalty for that person’s actions. We can pray that God has mercy on his soul while at the same time seeking justice … especially when the death penalty can serve as a deterrent and thus save lives.
Absolutely. I truly hope he seeks forgiveness from God and has an opportunity to beg the forgiveness of Kirk’s widow and fatherless children. But he still needs to face the full measure of judgement under the law, which – IMO – should be the death penalty.

I saw video yesterday of the suspect walking to the site. He had a limp. It was explained that he’d cut a hole in the bottom of his backpack, slid the.barrel of the rifle through the hole and down the back of his pants.
I just pulled a rifle out and measured from front of recoil pad to front of fore-end.
It’s 29-1/2 inches.
If I measure up from my beltline, that puts the butt of the gun level with middle of my forehead.
This guy’s backpack would have to be level with the top of his head, which it isn’t.
There is video of him doing just that. Walking with a pronounced stiff legged limp. You can also see his left leg is kicked out weird from the still shots as he goes up the steps.

Something doesn’t add up. Rifle length approx 44”, barrel length approx 24”. Too long and too bulky to fit down pants leg. I’m often wrong but I need more information.
Reports I’ve read said he routed it through the backpack and down into pants leg. So, the butt and action were up in the backpack, a hole fed the barrel down into pants, covered by shirt tail I would figure. In the few pics we have, the backpack looks sort of ‘tight’ against his back, to me anyway. I would expect that if the rifle was routed that way, it would ‘pin’ the backpack against him somewhat.
We on the outside have no idea what the truth is. Law enforcement and politicians lie all the time-this we know.
Let’s see how this all shakes out before we join the lynch mob.
What lynch mob? The kid’s photos match the images caught on the surveillance camera exactly, all the way down to the Converse All-Stars sneakers. You don’t need to believe law enforcement to see that. He will get a fair trial. Nobody here is talking about denying due process. So what are you insinuating? That he was a pawn in some conspiracy?

Usually that is how it is described when spies transfer instructions and stolen papers. So, yes, another person.
But, did he train with his weapon, or shoot it blind?
And he talked about the engraved bullets. A gift from his weapon supplier? Or did he take time to engrave them?
Maybe it was all him, a stash to keep his plans from being discovered? There were lots of suspicions that he might have placed the weapon on the roof in advance. His drop point may have been something similar, just further away.
Or maybe it was a multiple party plot and somebody else provided the gun and personalized bullets.
Guess we have to wait until they deign to tell us. Maybe it will be in the Charging papers they have 3 days to file
