I had not been paying close attention to the overarching issues of President Trump removing Fed Governor Lisa Cook for cause – fraudulent filings on her three mortgage applications. However, the appearance of Norm Eisen as her lawyer certainly highlights the political nature of the defense effort.
Norm Eisen is a well-known Lawfare operative, second only to Mary McCord in his high visibility and connections to all of the anti-Trump efforts. Eisen, like McCord, is at the center of the leftist effort to stop the Trump agenda through the manipulation of the courts, ie. ‘Lawfare.’

Me thinks….there is something bigger at stake: IF this case gets appealed and eventual to the SCOTUS, at issue is the question: “is the Federal Reserve constitutional and under the constitution a legitimate constitutional government organization. 1. IF so, it certainly falls under Article 2, the Executive Branch and as such, President Trump can fire her in a New York minute. 2. IF OTOH, the Federal Reserve is unconstitutional, then it should be dissolved, closed down and be done. Thus: the reason the heavy hitters for for representation of an obvious illegal mortgage fraud act by Fed Reserve governor Cook.
Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution. This section grants Congress the power to “coin Money” and “regulate the Value thereof,” which has been interpreted to include the establishment of a central bank to manage the nation’s monetary policy and financial system.
However, the interpretation is ridiculous. Only Congress has the power so if The People don’t like what Congress is doing to the money, they can be voted out.
Verdict: The Fed is unconstitutional.
That isn’t necessarily true, as SCOTUS has ruled in both directions regarding the delegation of power by Congress. For example, they delegated the ability to tariff to the executive branch via several bills.

I keep seeing the term “judge shopping”. Where does one go to shop for a judge? Is there a website or an app? Is there a fixed price or is it like eBay where you can bid for a judge? Are there any Consumer Reports online where I can read ratings and reviews of past performance? I assume a Federal judge costs more than a local one but how does one determine a fair price? Are there any guarantees of performance? Do they increase in value as they age?
Just a few simple questions in case I have to purchase some justice in the future.

Actually, you search the facts in the case to find some kind of connection to a federal court in a blue state (MA, HI, NY, NDCA, DC), and file there, claiming that is the right venue for the case. And the odds are that you’ll get a Biden or Obama judge.
According to Senate practice, senators had a veto over any district court nominee in their state. They used to be able to veto a circuit court judge nomination, but since federal circuits cover several states, that was discontinued (by McConnell, IIRC), as it allowed one senator to veto a nomination that wasn’t limited to his state. So blue state federal judges tilt left for the most part.

Awhile back someone posted a link here about mortgage fraud that I suspect Miss Cook took advantage of since her mortgage was in 2021. Can’t find the link.
It was about a huge boondoggle where homeowners could essentially get free money (time value of money) from COVID assistance funds.
During COVID they had billions of dollars available that were supposed to help people keep their homes because so many people were prevented from working.
If you got 90 days past due on your mortgagee, the bank would just tack the past due amount onto the end of you loan
Your “past due” amount became zero and your loan payments were just extended for as many months you had been behind. Might have been interest free but maybe not.
The boondoggle was was that if you didn’t make the payments for the next 90 days, you could do exactly the same thing again.
It sounds ridiculous, (because it was) but you could just keep doing that over and over and never EVER make a payment for years and years.
It has to be a primary residence. But if Cook did not keep her mortgages current and took that COVID money AND had tenants in there, she was pretty much getting her rental property funded by the COVID funds. And she could not have been claiming the rental income on her taxes because it was for primary residences.
I can’t remember all the details but even if you NEVER made another payment and sold the home, you only had to pay off the remaining balance on the loan!!! So all the equity built over time became yours!!!!!
Such a deal, no? Anyways I bet you Ms Cook took advantage of that program and was consistently 90 days past due.
Actually, if they just tacked on an additional payment at the end of the loan for each payment missed, that advance WOULD be interest free.

We are 19 days away from the September Fed meeting, and the Supreme Court may need to step in to block Lisa Cook from trying to show up to vote at that meeting. Have any of these people ever had an honest job, e.g., mopping floors, digging a ditch, changing the bedsheets of a terminally ill patient, working a 12 hour shift on a construction jobsite, bussing tables in a restaurant, standing for 8 hours taking orders in a fast-food joint, driving a truck, cleaning out manure in a barn, or changing tires in a repair shop? I’ll answer my own question…no they haven’t. It’s sickening.
