Former New York City Police Commissioner, Ray Kelly, is warning about what will happen if Zohran Mamdani wins the mayor race in New York City. However, at this point the Mamdani victory is almost assured.
Mamdani is supported by both the professional political left and the professional political right. Essentially supported by establishment Democrats and establishment Republicans. Also, supported openly by the DNC and supported passively by the fundraising arm of the RNC.
Mamdani represents the opportunity for both parties to fundraise billions of dollars in support and opposition. This is the UniParty at work.
Zohran Mamdani is essentially a shoo-in for Mayor. He hits a very unique niche spot, fulfilling the role needed for the left and the right. An argument can be made that Andrew Cuomo, financed by those who construct political distractions, entered the NYC race to ensure a Mamdani victory. People have often criticized the way some on the left express their feelings about natural disasters and locations associated with Trump supporters. I don’t like it either, but I understand it. I absolutely understand it.
While I’d rather see NYC MAGAfied and wake up to the destruction of the left (not a natural disaster, but one they specifically vote for often in defiance of nature, of God and of good sense) but to see them will their own destruction is a kind of guilty pleasure I host within myself at times.
I know there are children among them, pure victims of their environment and know no better, and the adults among them who are simply the products of brainwashing as children. Rationally, I know this, but it is the irrationality of the circumstances and controlling power which begs it’s own destruction and it feels necessary that they all experience it while the rest of the world look on as we do a horror movie… with a sense of knowing how it ends and lots of popcorn handy.
It’s predictable and yet preventable.

My fellow boomer Canadians, the former hippies who haven’t changed since the late 60s, voted in the Liberal Party here in Canada after 10 years of destructive policies by the previous Liberal government. Now Canadians are bitching about tariffs, no deal, and handing out billions we don’t have to the lumber industry etc.
Unemployment is rising, cost of everything is rising, real estate is crashing, we have millions of Indians and others whose temporary visas are expiring, but they won’t leave.
Many have decided they are refugees and the government is putting them up in hotels and giving them everything ordinary taxed Canadians can’t afford, etc.
We’re headed for a crash landing. They have it coming. My one bedroom in Toronto is $3000.I’m retired and I am watching this sh*t show. (greater Toronto has 6.7 million people) We are NYC north.
Some provincial premiers have banned walking in the woods because of forest fire risk. Fines range from 25000 to $150000 plus jail time. They loved covid lockdowns so much they can’t help themselves. Many still gleefully insist that Trump is the problem.
