The President doesn’t get to declare the Senate in recess. The Senate does, and of course the RINO “Republicans” refuse to do so. God forbid they do the right thing and let Trump appoint who he wants
Until Trump makes an example of a few of them by exposing their corruption they’re going to continue their nonsense.
There was talk earlier this year that if the House and Senate didn’t agree to a recess time, that the President could step in an declare the full congress in recess. So if Johnson agreed to a recess, which he has, but the Senate has not agreed to the same timely recess, then President Trump could declare them both in recess.

During the process of the Senate votes on C-Span, they were also showing the Democrats making speeches about President Trump and the Epstein files: They demanded their release. Warner of course, first in line.
I can’t help that wonder if the Senate’s complete disrespect for President Trump by the Leader and his chronies, especially McConnell, stems from the Epstein debacle. They might think he is toast because of it. It feels very much like the Russia Hoax 2.0.

Are we being factual when we say there are three equal branches of government when only the President, the chief executive of the executive branch, has term limits? Surely, this reality gives unequal power to the House and Senate.
All the Senate and House has to do if they do not like the voters choice for President is make rules to obstruct and delay the President’s agenda. Senators and Congresspersons get to serve as many terms as the voters will allow, so they have no qualms about doing just that. Many serve in office for decades.
It might even things up if term limits were to apply to Senators and Congresspersons also. Maybe it is time to make it happen.
