Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

Regarding adam schiff and his mortgage fraud troubles.I just retired after twenty three years in the mortgage banking industry. It is my belief though, perhaps a lawyer who reads here. Could weigh in, that if any of those mortgages still exist,that’s an ongoing crime, because of the fraud that was used to obtain them. And his making mortgage payments presently on them, it carries the statute of limitations forward. Does anyone else have any thoughts? Newsom Funds UN’s “Multi-Family” C-40 City Housing in Fire Ravaged LA
July 18, 2025
The loss and suffering of his citizens look like the least of Gavin Newsom’s concerns.
Last January, I let you all know that the state of California had changed the zoning in the subsequent burn area from single-family to multi-family THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE DEVASTATING FIRES destroyed an area the size of San Francisco.
Another bill teamed up with SB1123.
SB 684, which took effect on July 1 of this year, provides for streamlined, ministerial processing of certain residential projects in multifamily zoning districts consisting of no more than 10 single-family homes.
The law expanded the Starter Home Revitalization Act to further facilitate the construction of smaller, more naturally affordable “starter” homes. SB 1123, passed during the most recent legislative cycle and effective July 1, 2025, expands SB 684’s reach to legalize construction of up to 10 homes on vacant lots in single-family zoning districts, as well.
To expedite streamlining efforts, SB 684 and SB 1123 projects are exempt from discretionary review, environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and the right to appeal.
This Alert highlights SB 684’s streamlining incentives, associated siting requirements, and development specifications and denotes how SB 1123 will expand the law’s applicability to allow for more housing development on previously restricted land.
Ministerial processing or “ministerial approval” means a process for development approval involving little or no personal judgment by the public official as to the wisdom or manner of carrying out the project
Let’s cut to the chase. CA changed zoning BEFORE the fires, then made sure that the people could not rebuild. To date, only approximately 70 permits have been approved. Various authorities are now promising to help expedite. Sure.
Standard permitting time in Dallas takes an average of 8 – EIGHT – days.
Now, Newsom is announcing funding for multi-family residential structures in LA.
A UN Agenda “C40” city is the goal, I believe. Newsom and his band of merry crooks want to show the 2028 Olympics what a world-class C40 city looks like. He has zero desire to help the people as he flaps his jaws about expediting things.

Ron DeSantis, recently pulled something like this over on his constituents. After his reelection at the end of 2022, Tallahassee quietly and quickly (only 6 weeks!) passed FL SB 102. This is the “Live Local Act”, one of the first laws passed in the new 2023 legislative year:
“deleting the authority of local governments to adopt or maintain laws, ordinances, rules, or other measures that would have the effect of imposing controls on rents; providing an exemption from ad valorem taxation for land that meets certain criteria; authorizing local governments to adopt ordinances to provide an ad valorem tax exemption for portions of property used to provide affordable housing meeting certain requirements; suspending, for a specified period, the General Revenue Fund service charge on documentary stamp tax collections; authorizing the Governor, under the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund, to approve state or local public infrastructure projects to facilitate the development or construction of affordable housing, etc.”
To facilitate the construction of “affordable housing”…rather than “bourgeoise”…
This bill is much less direct but it essentially does the same, removing local government from their own control over zoning and taxing ordinances and allowing the Governor to approve local building projects for affordable housing, ETC. What’s the “ETC”, I wonder…? How much more can Tallahassee slip in here?

However, you’re right that the value of the grand jury always has been in its secrecy. The prosecutor can go after organized crime, drug rings, terrorism, criminal gangs or even individuals who might threaten witnesses or destroy evidence if news of the grand jury leaked out.
If a grand jury witness is listed as a trial witness by the prosecution, the defense counsel can usually get the presiding judge to release that witness’ grand jury testimony as potential Brady material.

When I post some content from the article, I like to put that in quotes so that people understand that these are not my words, it’s from the article.
When I use the quotes from the tool bar below, it shows up just as I want in the box, then I hit Post and it’s all gone when it posts.
I looks like I never did all that and yet in the box, there it was looking perfect and then it’s all gone when it posts, I need to edit it.
So now I’m using the Italics to make it look different.
I’m pointing this out because maybe it’s an issue with the workings of the site?
I don’t think I’m doing this wrong because I do this all the time on Disqus and it works fine- here it’s not.

There is a US Government Run Company called Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR). They actually have a catalogue of stuff they make and sell. My old employer used to actually by Mil-Standard cables and wiring harnesses from them. Their products were actually OK.

Well golly geee … construction work is a skill and career …. I am sure the Corps of Engineers would gladly provide the expertise needed , in support.
If you’ve ever visited what remains of that prison, you can see that the fog and the sea has already basically destroyed it. The Bureau of Prisons abandoned the facility, way back then, with good reason. “Symbolic” though it might sound, it’s simply not a viable notion. (Many areas in the facility are already too unstable to be open to the touring public.)
In a few years, the structures – other than the lighthouse – are going to have to be torn down for safety reasons.
Rebuilding with granite is the right choice for longevity – and economy.
Trump knows a great real estate investment when he finds one; he’s not afraid to spend money to achieve profit. He’s really good at it.
He & President Bukele have had good conversations about “prison construction”, I feel sure.
