The Wall Street Journal has published an article [SEE HERE] essentially trying to smear President Trump by saying they have gained custody of a leather bound book, put together by Ghislaine Maxwell for Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday in 2003. The book reportedly contains a “roasting style” letter sent by Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein outlining their sexual prowess.
There are some who have speculated the recent tone and response by President Trump to those who requested release of the “Epstein files” may have been a proactive decision by Trump who knew the WSJ story was being assembled. However, the entire thing seems so over-the-top ridiculous it’s likely fake news or manufactured foolishness; akin to the Chris Steel claims of “tapes” showing President Trump standing on a bed in Moscow peeing on prostitutes (completely untrue and stupid).
President Trump responded: “The Wall Street Journal, and Rupert Murdoch, personally, were warned directly by President Donald J. Trump that the supposed letter they printed by President Trump to Epstein was a FAKE and, if they print it, they will be sued. Mr. Murdoch stated that he would take care of it but, obviously, did not have the power to do so.
The Editor of The Wall Street Journal, Emma Tucker, was told directly by Karoline Leavitt, and by President Trump, that the letter was a FAKE, but Emma Tucker didn’t want to hear that. Instead, they are going with a false, malicious, and defamatory story anyway. President Trump will be suing The Wall Street Journal, NewsCorp, and Mr. Murdoch, shortly. The Press has to learn to be truthful, and not rely on sources that probably don’t even exist.
President Trump has already beaten George Stephanopoulos/ABC, 60 Minutes/CBS, and others, and looks forward to suing and holding accountable the once great Wall Street Journal. It has truly turned out to be a “Disgusting and Filthy Rag” and, writing defamatory lies like this, shows their desperation to remain relevant. If Trump proceeds with a lawsuit, he will have an uphill battle. He will have to prove that the letter in the leather-bound journal is fake.
According to the report, the DOJ had this journal as evidence that they examined while investigating Epstein and Maxwell. This means that the DOJ had a chain of custody for the journal, which was almost certainly seized during a raid on JEs home in PB. The DOJ will also be able to verify if the journal had been tampered with, i.e., if the letter from Trump was added to the journal after they returned it to Epstein.
The journal was assembled by Ghislaine Maxwell, who is very much alive and can attest to its authenticity. Included in the journal are letters from Alan Dershowitz and Les Wexner, both alive, who can be compelled to testify as to the authenticity of their letters.
Given these facts, I will be surprised if Trump proceeds with a lawsuit. If he does, he will have to submit to depositions by WSJ lawyers who will ask Trump all manner of questions – under oath – about his relationship with JE.
If that is true then why did the they WAIT till NOW to release this supposed letter?
Why not use it in 2016, 2020 or 2024?

Maybe the letter is fake, but the fact that it was in the possession of the DOJ, who no doubt seized it in a raid on JE’s home, means that it will be very hard to prove it was fabricated. This is just basic logic.

The letter itself is a big nothingburger. Nothing is incriminating in it. Everyone knows Trump and Epstein were good friends during that period. It would be normal for Trump to exchange birthday greetings. So what if the letter included a sketch of a naked woman? Big deal.
Trump should have just brushed it off as no big deal, but instead, it appears that he is digging a hole for himself with this one. Who does Trump rely on for advice?
