Everyone can see the play by President Trump. Essentially, the “coalition of the willing” (U.K, Germany, France) are not willing to go to war against Russia without the United States in front of them. Giving the coalition the weapons puts the consequences of their use on the heads of NATO allies.
Despite the majority of Washington DC, specifically the Senate thirsting, pleading and demanding an expanded NATO war, President Trump does not want to go to war against Russia. However, simultaneously Trump has to try and steer the war machine controlled by DC, the Senate, USIC and NATO.
The INERTIA for expanded war is evident. President Trump is now trying to split the baby regarding Russia, by sending patriot missiles and weapons to NATO as opposed to sending them directly to Ukraine.
In February Marco Rubio earnestly and honestly said, “The Ukraine conflict is a proxy war for the United States against Russia.” President Trump has concurred with that statement and through his prior comments he attempted to extricate the U.S. from this dynamic.
The shipment of missiles to NATO instead of Ukraine is simply a way of trying to stop direct support, yet Trump is forced by the inertia toward war to maintain a footing of expanded conflict with Russia.
To be very clear, Russian President Vladimir Putin is clear-eyed on this situation with NATO, and he has been all along.
Putin has said repeatedly that NATO was/is in direct conflict against Russia despite Ukraine not being a NATO member. This conflict with NATO well precedes Putin’s decision to conduct a ‘special military operation’ within Ukraine.
Now, we see through Trump’s approach the dropping of pretenses. Putin was correct. With NATO directly providing the war weapons to Ukraine there is no pretense, no doubt. NATO countries are funding an offensive war against Russia using a non NATO proxy state, Ukraine.
As I have said, this western triggering has always been the inertia for war, and that war is now likely to expand as a result of NATO and even, unfortunately, President Trump’s approach.
The only thing that works in his/our favor is the cowardice of the U.K, France and Germany to fight Russia without the USA.
President Trump may try and distance himself and by extension the USA from this consequence of expanded conflict. But the consequence exists regardless of the obfuscation. We are parsing terms.
The US is going to fund expansion of the conflict directly with arms to Ukraine or indirectly by sending arms to NATO to give to Ukraine. The destination and intent of the weapons is the same regardless of the procedural process.
I came to Russia this time to understand the nature of how western inertia to war can exist, despite the people of the west demanding the opposite. I wanted to see for myself exactly what Russia was preparing for, and exactly how the people of Russia were reacting to that preparation.
Russia is well prepared, both physically and psychologically to go to war against any adversary. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s approval rating is between 70 to 80%, and despite what you might have heard in western propaganda media, the economy inside Russia is doing very well. In addition to the two-year service requirement (18-20 years old), all men aged 25 to 35 have been refresher trained in preparation.
The psyche of the Russian military is ready to get rid of the Nazis. Also, the sentiment of Europeans’ dislike of Ukrainian Nazis is easy to spot, albeit not well known outside the region. Despite decades of Brussels and USA provocation and political manipulation (perhaps because of it), there’s not a lot of pro-NATO support for the west here.
I am not a big fan of Russia; nor do I agree with the way the government constructs societal life within it. There are a lot of negatives to daily life in Russia. However, I do have a complete understanding of the govt positions and reasons for them.
Western media have pretended that Ukraine was not a U.S/NATO proxy war against Russia. Now, those pretenses are dropped. Conversely, Vladimir Putin never pretended.
Putin always accepted that Ukraine was, and long has been, a NATO proxy state for conflict against Russia; which is exactly the reason he ‘invaded‘ Ukraine in the first place.
President Trump may be trying to split the baby amid the retention of pretense, but it’s a pretense Russian President Vladimir Putin never held, he could not afford to.
Thus, the inertia of war and people asking “how did this happen?”
If I am accurate in his exit strategy, President Trump hopes to extricate himself from the Russia-Ukraine problem by putting the conflict directly into the lap of NATO, more specifically into the lap of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz; the so called “coalition of the willing.”
President Trump is giving the weapons to NATO, again Starmer, Macron and Merz, for transfer to their buddy in Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. President Trump then stands back and draws distance from the consequence of what they do with them. However, this is also a massive provocation because NATO is now essentially operating on behalf of a non-NATO state, Ukraine, against another non-NATO power, Russia.
President Trump cannot remove the fact that the USA is the lead in all things NATO. As soon as France, Germany and the U.K start bombing Russia albeit from the geography of Ukraine, the conflict will expand.
NATO -thanks to President Trump- would then be baiting Vladimir Putin to attack France, Germany or the UK in retaliation, which would trigger Article 5; subsequently the USA is drawn into the conflict by agreement, and voilà a full expanded war between NATO and Russia commences.
But why?
If neither Russia or Ukraine are NATO members, why is NATO involved at all?
Good question. Perhaps President Trump will answer that question on Monday.
President Trump told NBC News, “I think I’ll have a major statement to make on Russia on Monday.”
.
Live your very best life, but prepare for war.
Like a fat kid playing dodgeball, I’m out of here tomorrow (hopefully), and will hold an AMA on the topic of all things Russia next week.
Love to all,
~ Sundance

Thank you Sundance! Your analytical mind amazes me. Thankful for you and the Treepers.
From Vietnam to now U S vs Russia
I have a 23 year old son. How could we possibly fight a war with Russia without a draft? Please God, help us.
CONgress has passed legislation to include our young women in the draft, as well as our young men. This tactic will surely blow up in their smug little globalist faces.
IMHO one major theme holding Putin back from directly attacking the United States is that, despite the ENemedia’s incessant propaganda, he knows our *people* do not have the stomach for a protracted war with Russia or anybody else. He (and likely President Trump) are counting on *our* refusal to feed this banker’s war with precious American lives.
Euroweenies will need our *complete* participation. What if they do not receive the American cannon fodder required for escalation? It’s not like EU has anyone who is gung ho to put their lives on the line, either.
PRAY.
CONgress has passed legislation to include our young women in the draft
I don’t believe this true.
…”the final version of the bill that became law did not include this provision, as it was removed during negotiations between the House and Senate.
In 2024, the Senate Armed Services Committee approved a version of the NDAA that would require women to register for the draft, but the bill still needs approval from both chambers of Congress and the president to become law.
Some lawmakers, including Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), have strongly opposed the idea, arguing against the forced conscription of women into military service.
A separate bill, H.R.5392, was introduced in the 117th Congress to amend the Military Selective Service Act to allow women to elect to register for the draft, but it did not advance beyond committee consideration.
As of July 2025, no final law has been enacted that requires women to register for or be subject to the draft. The issue remains under debate in Congress and has not yet received final legislative or executive approval.”

that means lindsey won’t be sent, right?😏
Not funny. Lindsey should be the first on the front line if any sending is done.
Nobody’s in shape for the military anymore anyway, between obesity, ADHD / Ritalin, mRNA heart issues, low T, and poor education / thinking, so what’s the difference? 😉
Unless we’re talking about sitting around remote-controlling drones, in which case the world will bow down to our unbeatable video
gaming teams. 😀
It is true I dont know the date they passed it but it is true
You’re correct, not true. They backed down.
DEI demands the the diversity of having women in combat, the equity with men combatants, and the inclusion of women in the battle.
Anything short of that would be raccisss.
Maybe the honorable completion of mandatory military service by US youth as a condition for getting into college would shake some sense into the fools who think war is wonderful.
Yes!
The military excelled in one important fact of becoming a man, it taught the trait of discipline to its people! That is really missing in today’s youth/young men!
Hey it sounds like you’re channeling my dad and granddad!
Getting that law passed would be … interesting
Something to think about……
Ukraine just lowered their draft age….to 25 years old
in April 2024!
🙄 🙄 🙄 🤷♀️ 🤷♀️ 🙄 🙄
Gonna be a big old can of worms if our
government wants to draft our 18 year olds!
😉 😉 😉
Ukraine lowers conscription age to 25 to replenish troops | AP News

As US pushes Ukraine to lower conscription age, why won’t Kyiv draft younger men?
Kyiv Independent- December 2024
It’s getting damn hard to believe anything anymore! As far as I’m concerned I quit pretending when I got into my teenage years! I was amazed to hear that our POTUS has zero control over the Intelligence Community AND Pentagon! Is not the POTUS “Commander-in-Chief”? Time to get rid of the alphabet agencies! They are falsely accusing POTUS as a “dictator”! In reality it is these agencies that are “dictators”.
Haven’t you heard, the “technocrat” class is in charge and an independent branch of government for the past century.
Modern life is too complex to be left in the hands of a mere political man or body of men, and must be ruled by highly-trained experts. Leave them to their academic priestly ivory towers.
Why would we fight a war with Russia?
Russia is a far more honorable ally to America than the members of the EU and NATO.
might not need to worry if nukes start flying around.😳
Do these idiots think a little bit of nuclear war will be okay? Heck, we’ll just hole up in our designer bunkers for a week or three!
Bend over and kiss your @ss goodbye.
I thought this went out with the 80s and Yeltsin standing on a tank.
Same
Don’t intend on fighting for these bankers wars
I’m sorry. I don’t get why he has to do it.
Exactly. Trump is expanding the war and we are doing circles trying to excuse it.
This is precisely what I see!! I heard numerous folks say “Pass the BBB and then Trump will finally be free to do the right thing.” So they cheered on the BBB, and bad-mouthed Massie for standing against it, because he was “holding Trump back.”
Well, the BBB is passed. And so far, Trump is governing worse.
lots of boomers with short memories on here. figuring out where to send my only son. got any suggestions?
Good question. My sons are too young for consideration. My oldest daughter, on the other hand…
I still can’t believe they tried to place girls in the draft. And I can only assume they’ll try again.
“Trump is governing worse”, says the crowd of plebeians.
Congress is demanding it.
Europe is demanding it.
NATO is demanding it.
The USIC is demanding it.
Who cares what they demand? Isn’t Pres Trump the Commander-in-Chief, responsible for all military decisions? Color me stupid but I don’t get it.
>> Isn’t Pres Trump the Commander-in-Chief, responsible for all military decisions?
Well, you might like to think so. On the other hand, this could be an aspect of pretending.
Just recently Ukraine launched a drone attack against Russia destroying many aircraft, without President Trump’s knowledge, but surely with the help of our IC. Next, Netanyahu launched an offensive against Iran, again, did trump approve as we were drawn into that conflict?
PT decision to destroy nuclear site was a no brianer.
Trump’s flip flopping on his promises makes no common sense. MAGA constituents are seeing a pattern of things they didn’t vote for and getting very concerned.
I guess my vote must have been a pretend vote.😡
this should answer your question

Wasn’t PDJT also CiC when US troops were ordered out of Syria?
Did that actually happen?
It did not!
Retired Magistrate here: Because President Trump really isn’t in charge and Presidents haven’t been for quite some time.
US Presidents haven’t been in charge since November 1963.
Since 1913, you mean. Woodrow Wilson.
Before even then in my estimation. Filthy greed prevails: The love of money is the root of all evil.
The 1871 thing?
Eisenhower said as much when describing the MIC, even exclaiming “and I’m one of them !”
Hell, even Truman stated he deeply regretted signing the CIA into law.
Putin agrees….
Look friend it doesn’t have to make sense, and it doesn’t. It just is what it is and they have Trump in a box.
Congress appropriates the $$
This should help to explain, posted just yesterday:
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2025/07/10/a-significant-geopolitical-problem-for-president-trump-and-us/#more-273979
I don’t get it either.
The premise of the article is doubleplusgood.
Thinking that the President is the Commander In Chief, responsible for all military decisions, is Schoolhouse Rock Civics thinking. It’s not accurate.
The non-pretending truth is that the intelligence agencies of the West have grown into an all powerful, uncontrollable leviathan. The IC is wholly unaccountable to the President, Congress, the Courts or We the People.
Sundance has explained the two choices President Trump has to change this dynamic. He can publicly expose the truth, letting everyone in the world know what CTH readers have long known as the truth.
The second choice is to attempt a hostile takeover of the IC and destroy their power.
Both choices are extremely dangerous for reasons that should be obvious.
As Sundance explained here, President Trump is trying to “split the baby” between the two choices by supplying weapons directly to NATO. The chances of this strategy succeeding are slim, but it’s all President Trump is able to do at the present time.
I pray that God intervenes and burns the maggot infested IC to the ground.
47 has played one too many rounds of golf with warmonger Lindsey Graham!!
He needs to stay out of the Sun. In the picture of the sit down with nutteryahoo, he’s turned the shade of “Magda” in “There’s Something About Mary”, say nothing of palling around on the links with Flimsy Gram.
Because congress will impeach him AGAIN, and this time the senate will convict him and throw him out.
You know, if that has to happen… well, so many things have to be exposed. How many of those Congress were legitimately elected? Start there. Feels like we’re teetering on the edge of a pretend – vs – reality world. Or two realaties, good, bad, could go other way. Are enough people ready to be dis-illusioned? Red pilled? Black pilled? Ancient Chinese curse – interesting times.
“Responsible for all military decisions”, rinse and repeat from the crowd of plebeians.
https://x.com/TheLastRefuge2/status/1944186091428282679
I understand, but what would be the consequences of refusing, resisting, or just foot-dragging, now that the BBB is passed? Seems like this is a poor choice to expend political capital when the people want out.
Recision bills?
Impeachment & Senate conviction or see JFK.
The only other play that may be successful (or not) is to do what he is doing now & to refuse to engage troops unless CONgress declares war.
Possible consequence-Assassination of President Trump, his family and his allies.
The IC has power over ALL of the government, including the Secret Service.
Going to war with the IC will produce mass casualties. Are you prepared to witness the same kind of bloodshed within the government of the United States as we see in various third world countries around the world?
The end result of that level of chaos and violence would be the collapse of government and nation wide warfare in the streets like we have never experienced in America.
When did President Trump ever care about what anyone but the American people demanded?
Good point. And what, exactly, are the American *people* demanding when it comes to this reckless NATO expansion? How many Americans are even aware of the NATO aggression towards Russia AND THE USA through proxy Ukraine?
It’s not like faux news spoon feeds this critical information. All we get is propaganda.
Many are convinced that Russia! Russia! Russia! is the bad guy. They don’t recognize the NATO BEAST for what it truly is.
But we will soon find out.
Since he and his family have been threatened with death.
“Tool” for sure. “Nut”, keep posting and we’ll confirm that too.
If CONgress has not availed itself of its A1S8C11 power it is not actually demanding anything.
We must force their demand into their A1 power or… we’re part of the war inertia.
If the theory of the IC running the USA is accepted then one must look at NATO and the EU being run by their own or an overarching IC.
Screw 5 eeyes as an open sacrifice of national sovereignty.
Safe travels.
That also seems likely. The US IC is not the only IC, and our military industrial complex is not the only one of those.
It’s all one big IC, and we ain’t in it!
Absolute Truth!!
Soooooo…….who is ACTUALLY running our IC?
Someone is in charge, behind the back of President Trump…..
JMO possibly a group of wealthy psychopaths who are foreign and are Globalist OWG creeps.
Possible answers:
1. The oligarchs behind the world’s Central Banks (Federal Reserve, Bank of England, European Central Bank, etc.)
2. The oligarchs behind The World Bank, comprised of The International Bank of Reconstruction and Development, The International Development Association, The International Finance Corporation, The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency, and the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes.
There are trillions at stake.
Would it help if we were able to apply pressure on Congress? That’s where the push is coming from (Lindsey Graham, Bloomenthal, and all the other sneaky hiding back-stabbing liars).
Is it possible for “We the People” to flood their inboxes, their mailboxes and their offices with protests against NATO/Ukraine funding to get some of the weak sisters to not agree to the funding?
Congress is the problem. They don’t care what “We the People” want or don’t want
I only know about Lindsey. You are wasting you time if you write Lindsey. The constituents in SC have no trust in Lindsey, but the Democrats can always find a candidate who is less than an idiot. Lindsey will have at least two primary challengers. One is a successful businessman who says all the right things, so there is hope.
IMO, we don’t have time to wait for another rigged election.
One is wasting time sending a note to Amy K. in Minnesota, also. The last time I wrote to her the reply I received was laughable and had not a thing to do with the topic addressed in my letter.
But her note rambled on about how ‘she is fighting for me’ .. hahaha.
I doubt Amy, the dirty comb salad eater, could fight her way out of a paper bag!
These day’s writing to any of these grifters is a total waste of time! They do not care one wit about what we care about!!
They care only for their “donors”
1 – Splitter Strategy
1A – RNC funding of only Uniparty
2 – Open Primary
True in way too many states.

CONgress at your fingertips (on apple devices) brought to you by Grace Chong via WarRoom.
Your last sentence answers the question.
Congress doesn’t care about we the people because we have no real authority over them.
Truthfully, they don’t work for us. They work for the IC, the gazillionare banks, and the powerful billionaires behind the banks.
Writing letters to Congress is a waste of time.
despite all the stirring calls for INaction in the replies,
i agree with you, JannB.
“Congress is demanding it.
Europe is demanding it.
NATO is demanding it.
The USIC is demanding it.”
we can call, email, twit, tok, insta, FB, etc. our opposition to congress members, R and D alike.
public pressure is a real thing.
might work, might not.
won’t know unless we try.
we can summarily ignore Europe’s leadership.
what are they going to do – refuse to visit?🤣
i would like Stephen Miller to take a good look at our NATO “contracts”,
maybe find a work around.
if not, reduce funding.
i like this idea –
the U.S. will fund NATO at a level MATCHING the #2 highest contributor now, but no more.
so we’d be in for what, like 3%? 😂
seems fair to me.
the last one is the ball buster.
i pray PT can thread the needle.
i understand he is renowned for “owning the downside”, but yikes!
our show of support could make all the difference.
let’s make “keyboard warrior” a verb, not an adjective.😁
Oh no, doesn’t mean we don’t fight… to the death if necessary (and take a few of the bastards out with us when they come for me & mine) but it is a fight, and too many are still only concerned with their nightly Friends rerun or local book club. (mind you, I wish life were like that, so I will fight if need be so others can live such an oblivious life… because life was better for me knowing such people were all out there.
The demanders are the swamp.
Might a President’s National Emergency Broadcast
-with receipts help ❓
The swamp backed off of barring states from legislating AI by a vote of 99-1 because of pushback from the public.
If it wasn’t for public pushback, the swamp would have passed a sweeping amnesty in 2014 & many times before that & since.
They can be forced/coerced into backing down.
Well they’re sneaking it into the “must pass” NDAA as we speak so have more pushback needed.
According to the RNC, the answer is fight fight fight by sending them more money.
What a joke that isn’t funny.
It will be a cold day in hell before they get another dime from me.
It’s time for our President to use martial law and bring in our military to root out, by force, every single Swamp Creature across the broad and wide board. Then Military tribunals for all, each and every one.
Every Department, starting with USIC, then the Congress, Senate, and Judiciary: including every single traitor that is set against OUR Nation.
Restore OUR Constitution which has been slowly raped and murdered since before the first World War.
This is my opinion. However, I pray God’s will be done.
My last dime was for the “stolen election fund” Nov / Dec ’20 which they used ZERO of. Never again.
btw, still waiting for those Kraken too 🫤
It’s that last one – “The USIC is demanding it.” – that’s the driving force, IMHO.
We can ignore Congress, Europe, and can opt out of NATO via logistics starvation.
President Trump, though, has a rogue Intelligence Community on his hands. Not just one department, but several.
They WILL not answer to the Commander in Chief, save in platitudes only.
Get below the Directors and Deputy Directors, and the agencies will ignore any directive they feel does not comply with their own agendas.
What is worse than a corrupt and bought Government (which we have)?
A bought and unanswerable Intelligence Community.
It’s not that President Trump “has” to do it of his own free will. He’s has been boxed in by the Swamp (including the previous 5 non-Trump Presidents) and forced into this path.
And yes, Putin knows this. He’s former KGB, after all. The question that should be rolling through American’s minds – will Putin show the KGB side, or will he be more thoughtful and merciful (as his Orthodox fealty might suggest)?
Like Sundance – I’m no cheerleader for Russia or Putin. I can, however, understand what the positions are, and Presidents Trump and Putin are stepping through a very delicate dance. Neither want to succumb to the suicidal pressure for war, nuclear war, and genocidal depopulation that the current controllers of the West so deliciously desire to occur.
I still don’t get why he has to do it, though, either.
Seems to me the better move is dumping out of NATO altogether.
Fortress America!
Our defense products, contract, etc. are so deep into our NATO allies that we have legal obligations just for the supply of materials that run very deep. They all make pieces and parts, assemblies, etc. for our defense companies.
At this time we cannot live without them and vice versa.
We are NOT a sovereign nation wrt our defense systems.
Do we even make our own steel & aluminum anymore?
Do we even build more than one capital ship per annum while China builds a ship monthly?
Didn’t our wonderful representative pass a bill stating only they have the authority to opt out of NATO? or was that a rumor?
Congress did indeed pass legislation, signed by Biden-pen that prevents the US President from unilaterally withdrawing fro NATO.
How many in the Senate, and how many in the House are actually in favor of expanding the war against Russia? Not very many, I suspect.
Maybe it’s time for President Trump to rally those who want him to stop this war, with a speech to the Nation laying out the alternatives: “Either we stop this now, or we have to start drafting your sons and daughters. You choose.”
Trump needed Senators’ vote for his bill. Now he needs to give them what he promised them in exchange for their votes. It’s politics. Dirty, ugly politics.
satan is driving it.
April 2024 Congress passed a bill to give Ukraine $174 billion to assist Ukraine in the war, to include munitions, combat, vehicle, vehicles, missiles. Thanks to the Biden administration, it’s the gift that keeps on giving.
But 90% of the citizens demand he not do it…….when it comes to our children we shall see how it rolls.
The bankers are demanding it.
MAGA demands otherwise.
It’s obvious to me that he’s being told to do it by those in the pay grades above him.
I am so ashamed of our government and Prime Minister that I will henceforth drop my U.K. national designation from my username, until we have rid ourselves of this disgraceful, lying, hypocrite and the web of intrigue and relationships he increasingly continues to foist on us daily.
And I apologise to all you patriots on your side of the pond for the pond life we seem to harbour!
My prayer is that when PDJT visits his golf course in Scotland later this month he will be safely guarded and warmly greeted. The bulk of people here that I know support his efforts, even though we are very wary of expressing that support in the public arena. Free speech is so last year!
And Sundance, thank you so much for your care and comms to us all. Please keep safe!
God bless you,
Reader.

Be safe bro. At the end of the day we are still sending weapons we need to replenish our bare cupboards to fight a war that the Uniparty created. I guess it’s not technically a “New War” so President Trump thinks he has semantic wiggle room.
President Trump’s sudden embrace of the Eurotrash Death Cult is nauseating.
Appeasing the bloodlust of the United Kaliphate isn’t going to get the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates. It’s just going to further alienate The Base and drag us off a cliff.
This whole thing is getting dumber and dumber by the day. President Trump needs to take control of this and explain to the American people on national TV if necessary the futility of this war and that we must walk away. I believe most Americans will back him. He is The President of the United States and needs to make this happen no matter who it upsets. It’s within his power to do so. At this point I can only assume he is being played as he was on Covid. Another “two weeks to slow the spread” fiasco may be happening.
If we have been shown only 1 thing, surely it is that Presidents don’t actually control much at all.
The other 3 branches of gubmint have usurped executive power.
It was one of his campaign promises so we know there is a lot of public support to end our involvement.
But Trump has never fulfilled those campaign promises of ending the Russia/Ukraine war in 24 HOURS!!!
Walk away is a good idea until we are faced with the next false flag?
Hope it isn’t just an announcement of more support for the Ukraine including new additional sanctions on Russia. If so I’ll be terribly disappointed and the war will continue on and will continue to escalate!!! But Putin is wise enough not attack any NATO country directly “which would trigger Article 5; subsequently the USA is drawn into the conflict by agreement, and voilà a full expanded war between NATO and Russia commences.” – Sundance
To me I hope President Trump announces our withdrawal from NATO and leave the Ukraine to the EU weenies to deal with!!! But I know that won’t happen!!! If he did it would be cause for celebration then give the anti American UN walking papers, treat the UN like illegal aliens!!! JMO
From dd_sc upthread: “Congress did indeed pass legislation, signed by Biden-pen that prevents the US President from unilaterally withdrawing from NATO.”
Thanks didn’t know Biden’s auto pen signed that legislation!!! Under the measure, advocated by Sens. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), the president is prohibited from withdrawing from NATO without the approval of two-thirds of the Senate or separate legislation passed by Congress.
Retired Magistrate here: Well, there is nothing new under the sun. I was born in 1947 and the United States has either been involved in a war or preparing for war ever since.
Live your best life today because you may not have tomorrow. I am sure that the campers in Texas never dreamed that the Independence Day weekend would be their last day on this earth.
I grew up in that Texas area…
The rivers there have limestone bottoms… The limestone does not soak up excess water as sandy bottom rivers do… A rain, which may be miles away up stream simply causes the river level to rise to flood levels.
The flood then flows down the river bottom at high speed… It may be oncoming as a wall of water of 20+ feet or higher…
In that area, the floods are known as “Flash Floods”, and are common during the rainy season… When I was there, we were always cautioned by our parents to stay out of the river bottoms during the rainy season,,,
In addition, there were signs on roads/highways warning of “FLASH FLOODS” as the road or highway approached the river bottoms…
What I am trying to say here is that the rivers in that area have ALWAYS flooded after a rain and follks that lived in the area were taught to stay away from the rivers at certain times of the year.
Have the “FLASH FLOOD” warning signs been removed? Have folks just stopped teaching their kids to avoid the river bottoms during rainy season?
Or, did the adults that took the kids camping simply ignore the signs and other warnings?
The flood came on in the middle of the night. WWIII will likely be just as swollen, and just as predictable.
So what are we doing to prepare for that?
Yes, the flash floods can come at any time, night or day, with little or no warning.. That is the exact reason we were taught to stay out of the river bottoms during rainy season…
I didn’t comment on the WWIII situation… Since you broached the subject, perhaps you can tell me how to prepare for it?
Just trying to reel this thread -which btw has nothing to do with floods or Texas- back to the original topic of this discussion, that’s all.
I simply replied to Marcia’s comment about the campers in Texas…
If that somehow offended you, perhaps you should take it up with her.
Down thread you’re bringing up Epstein too. I’m not “offended.” Just *politely* trying to herd cats, and not succeeding in my efforts, apparently.
Stock up and keep the gas cans and gas tanks full.
And pray…
From my time in Texas (’70’s)…the only flooding I remember was when the Trinity River overflowed its banks near the Metroplex. And it was nothing like this recent event.
The Trinity River is in North Texas, actually north of the Dallas/FtWorth area…
North Texas rivers, the Trinity, the Red river, etc., are very different from the rivers of the Southwest, the Guadalupe, the Pedernales, etc..
North Texas has sandy soil and the rivers have sand bottoms which soak up rainwater and help prevent floods.
The rivers of Southwest Texas, west of Austin and north of San Antone, have limestone bottoms which do not soak up the rainwater which has no place to go except racing down the river bottom… They are truly “Flash Floods”, occur in a “flash” far up stream… It may not even be raining at a particular place on the river, but a wall of water may suddenly come at you like a freight train…
When I lived in the area, there were “FLASH FLOOD AREA” warning signs on all roads and highways that approached a river or a stream… Have the signs been removed? or were they simply ignored?
Our country is very low on munitions. Why do we continue to give our money and munitions away?
I see that as a real risk to our country.
You have to admit, President Trump is a pretty smart strategist. He’s playing with the hand he was dealt. And doing it pretty damn well in my opinion.
Yes, I voted for this.
CONgress must be forced to declare war or back down.
This is one way to force them to make the decision & to own it.
Most in Kongress are so old their children are retired, so have no hesitation to sending YOUR sons and daughters into a nuclear holocaust and they get their slice of money-laundering and MIC dividends. At this point Kongress is incapable of agreeing on anything!
AMERICAS GREATEST ENEMY IS POLITICS!
“Incapable of agreeing on anything” works in our favor.
I was the fat kid playing dodgeball. Appreciate that analogy. Fat kid tip: Try to stay on the backline behind the guy with the gun for an arm or next to the cute girl the opposing side is reluctant to peg.
Safe travels! ( I always appreciate how SD adds a little sense of humor even when dealing with the most serious of topics).
Dodgeball? Kids today don’t know the game. Could hurt their feelings.
Oh, I LOVED dodgeball!
The red textured kickballs that were slightly deflated could be pinched when thrown between the thumb curled trigger finger and with a snap of the wrist upon release would put “English” on the throw “bending it like Beckham” making your intended target think you’d gone wild, only to be nailed by a high velocity stinger!
Sorry for the off subject flashback..
I added one in this thread…you are good!
We played without shirts on , if you had a shirt you were called a pussy. The real fun started when the whistle blew and the teacher hollered “wall to wall” no place to hide.
When we played dodgeball as kids……it could actually hurt more than feelings!!!
Yep… When we played it only hurt our arses..
In the old Canal Zone…we had our own variation…it was called
“Battle Ball”.
My junior high and high school gym teachers called the game “battle ball”. We used fully inflated volleyballs.
So, if I’ve got this straight we’re supposed to send more s*** to Nato so that we stay out of the Ukrainian conflict? What?
Yes. That is the line of reasoning as I understand it.
President Trump’s only other choice was to send weapons directly to Ukraine.
One of MAGA’s and PDJT basic principles is “We are a nation of laws.” PDJT was legal bound to send weapons because of Congressional funding. PDJT is trying to put the blame where it belongs.
Maybe some of the NATO members will not send those weapons to Ukraine.
PDJT’s refusal to send weapons could be grounds for impeachment.
President Trump had multiple other choices, one of them being to keep the weapons so our Military can defend us if necessary.
Yep, makes about as much sense as the epstein crap does…
This fails the shift test. Trump needs to extricate us from NATO. Why weaponize an entity that has outlived it’s usefulness when NATO is conducting a proxy war?
It makes as much sense to arm Ukraine as it does to arm NATO. We should be doing neither.
I wonder if there’s any chance this will be followed by beginning to withdraw from NATO.
Beginning? How about a full-on total withdrawal?
U.S. legislation restricts Presidential authority to withdraw from NATO – National Security
🤷♀️ 🤷♀️ July 2023
That is what should happen, but due to recent events I don’t think our President is in control of the situation…
re: getting us out of NATO.. Should have been done on day one ’cause zelenskii wanted to become a member of NATO in hopes NATO would then have to fight Russia…
Had President Trump pulled us out of NATO, we could kiss this ukraine/Russia war goodbye.
One of ChiCom Mitch’s last acts was to pass legislation barring any President from unilaterally withdrawing from NATO.
A bill cosponsored by now SoS Marco Rubio.
Can PT get us out of NATO or did Congress vote themselves the power?
“On July 21, 1949, the Senate passed a resolution giving its advice and consent to the ratification of the North Atlantic Treaty, the multilateral collective security agreement that established the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). On July 25, 1949, the United States officially joined the treaty, becoming one of NATO’s 12 founding members. Since that time, the Senate has approved every request to increase the membership of NATO—enlarging the alliance to 32 members. Congress has also enacted numerous
statutes implementing U.S. obligations under the North Atlantic Treaty and conducted oversight as to the executive branch’s participation in the alliance. Among the many statutes related to NATO is Section 1250A of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 (2024 NDAA), which prohibits the President from withdrawing the United States from the North Atlantic Treaty without the approval of the Senate or statutory authorization—the first (and thus far the only) statute prohibiting unilateral presidential withdrawal from a treaty.” — from “The North Atlantic Treaty: U.S. Legal Obligations and Congressional Authorities”, Congressional Research Service January 2025
PERHAPS the President is about to proclaim that NATO’s involvement in Ukraine, and any ramifications there from, will not trigger a miltary responce from the US, and that includes any retalitory attack against a NATO alies. Yes there is a treaty but we can clearly distance ourselves from a provacation under taken by a NATO allis by so staing in advance. When Europe is faced with the consequences of their own actions with the clear proclamation that we will not come to their rescue, perhaps they and the deep state will have second thoughts about their continued provications. At least that is in my prayers.
Their handling of JFK, Nixon and Carter shows how they handle Presidents that do not obey! American politics is a puppet show!
A5 is not triggered by a retaliatory attack on an ally.
We aren’t required to backstop a member’s offensive attack on a nonmember state.
Correct:
“Under Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, parties agree that ‘an armed attack against one or more of them … shall be considered an attack against them all.’ Under the Charter of the United Nations (U.N. Charter) and customary international law, an armed attack permits a country to potentially use force in its defense—one of the exceptions to the prohibition of the use of force against another state set forth in the U.N. Charter. In the event of such an attack, Article 5 obligates each party to exercise this right of self-defense by taking ‘such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the territory protected by the treaty’ (emphasis added). Article 3 of the treaty contains complementary obligations for NATO members to carry out these mutual defense obligations if necessary by ‘maintain[ing] and develop[ing] their individual and collective capacity to resist armed attack.’ — from “The North Atlantic Treaty: U.S. Legal Obligations and Congressional Authorities”, Congressional Research Service January 2025
Excellent Analysis.
Cold, hard, facts.
Thank you, Sundance.
I am proud of this counter strategy by President Trump to give the weapons to NATO and let disperse them to Ukraine.
Prayers for our President and our country . 🙏🏻🙏🏻
..we can just hope after arrival of those weapons to Ukraine Dr.Oreschnik/Hazelnut will visit them …Lisa
I thought he was selling them to NATO to be giving to Ukraine. Maybe small difference but it is different.
NATO is, in theory, a defensive treaty. If war expands by NATO directly attacking Russia first and Russia responds by attacking Germany France or England I’m not sure we are bound by Article 5 to join in as NATO was the aggressor and fired the first shot.
I’m pretty sure that is the President’s view but not the Senate’s or the IC’s. So he will not only be fighting with NATO members about entering but also his own government.
The only way I see stopping this is the President needs to make it known publicly to NATO and the Senate that we will not be dragged into a war started by NATO. Unfortunately, right after he does, the IC will stage a false flag attack on a NATO member.
We live in interesting times.
Haven’t we already seen a False Flag attack on Mar-A-Largo a few years ago and assassination attempts too?
Mar Al Lago was a warning shot across the bow…
NATO members are not required to backstop another members offensive against a nonmember or even a member.
The U.S. is stirring up trouble for Russia in Belarus, the Baltics, the Arctic, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Kazakhstan. Who’s the dang president? Samantha Powers? John Bolton?

I know it’s not practical, but I’d love to see PDJT publicly state that if the Senate wants a war with Russia, then they need to use their Constitutional powers to declare war against Russia……..then Drop the mic and walk off the stage.
It’s definitely pragmatic.
Trump tells is to believe their lies and shut up about Epstein; he’s going to get us more deeply involved in the Ukraine conflict with Russia and I hear he’s endorsed the war pig Lindsey Graham.
I’ve listened to politicians lying to me for 50+ years now. I’m effing sick of it. He’s lost me.
I totally agree with you about the pig, however YOUR pig on a leash is way better then a wild boar on the loose.
This might go a little off topic and i certainly don’t want to start a new thread but I wanted to respond to your statement that “He’s lost me.”
I kind of think that is what the deep state wants. President Trump trusts the people he put in charge and when they say “Nothing to see here” he backs them up publicly and the net result is what we’ve seen since the Epstein announcement, division within MAGA.
I think that is the deep state’s new strategy on dealing with Predident Trump and his supporters. Keep doing what they’ve always been doing and feed him bad info or shield him from info to give the impression he’s not in control of draining the swamp or he is now suddenly aligned with them. The Epstein announcement is the perfect example and it has definitely divided the a lot of the President’s supporters.
So… Are you saying that the decision to ignore and not prosecute epstein’s criminal pedophiles was planned and executed by the deep state?
Yeah and I think President Trump is in the dark about how much his base cared about the Epstein case as evidenced by his comment on “why are people still talking about it”.
He is kept in the dark about why his base finds it important and the DS uses that as a wedge. We see it as a way to stop the corruption of the deep state and bring justice. He isn’t aware of that or he never would have asked the question at the press conference. I think he sees it as the scumbag is gone, why keep talking about it? The net result is division among his supporters. A net gain for the DS.
Think of SD calling Susie Wiles his “handler”. She’s his information filter.
A perfect example about him being sheltered from what his base wants is he didn’t know why people were booing him when he brought up warp speed and the vaccine at his rallies until he asked country singer John Rich at dinner one night. No one in his orbit had the willingness to tell him. Here’s the link to what John Rich said in an interview about that conversation:
https://www.whiskeyriff.com/2025/04/07/youre-not-going-to-like-it-john-rich-recalls-president-trump-asking-him-why-he-was-getting-booed-for-talking-about-the-covid-vaccine/
The deep state manipulates what he hears so he won’t follow through or act.
So the DS will continue to do what it does and take every opportunity to turn any actions or lack of actions by the administration to its advantage with, I believe, the goal of peeling off supporters of the President.
PDJT is trusting to a fault.
Or it could be…
I’m anxious to hear what President Trumps says on Monday.
To be frank I’m not.
I’m kinda tired of being kicked in the balls personally.
We need a 3 or 4 day vacation between soul crushing setbacks.
“We need a 3 or 4 day vacation between soul crushing setbacks”
That’s a good one. 👍
On the other hand, all of those soul crushing setbacks seem to be waking up a lot of people here to the fact that Trump just ain’t gonna be able to save them.
i hope he shouts from the rooftops….’they are not nato nations and none of our business’. let them work it out
Yes. …and hope he also asks … ‘Why are U.S. citizens paying for Ukraines ENTIRE BUDGET – salaries, pensions, security ….EVERYTHING?!…’
>> “The Ukraine conflict is a proxy war for the United States against Russia.”
How about: “The Ukraine conflict is a proxy war for the Deep State within the United States against Russia.”
Getting at and excising the Deep State is becoming the most important thing that needs to be done, not just more important than balancing the budget but evidently necessary even in order to think about balancing the budget.
The problem is that the term ‘Deep State’ is simply too vague. It is sort of like blaming problems on ‘society’, again too vague. The term Deep State needs to be pulled apart and anatomized. And we need to focus upon which parts of the Deep State are causing which problems and how.
President Trump has had time to identify and list most of the deep state persons in the Executive Branch. Now fire them all and withdraw their security clearances.
I am doubtful that it is as easy as you say. If it were, I imagine that Trump would have done it by now.
Pretty shortsighted. Putin has angered Trump by not capitulating to his whims. When Russia retaliates against NATO, will Trump be strong enough not to get dragged into sending NATO more lethal weapons? Doesn’t seem so. One might say that Macron, Merz, Starmer have Trump by the nose. He looks weak.
I’m very impressed that you’re able to read Trump’s mind like that.
Why would Putin bother with them, he will just destroy and take over the entire Ukraine area in retaliation.
Manny, Moe and Jack have PDJT snookered… Rrrriigghht. 🤣🤣🤣
My granddaughter is in the Navy, and a Russian linguist,,,I will dig out the blue star banner i flew for her mama and daddy
simply put
if the President doesn’t declare War on the IC
and take action before this Russia War breaks out,
then He is not the real Leader of this Country, its all pretend
and we do not have a Country anymore
He has every justification and back up support of 80 million
this will be his defining moment
IMHO President Trump just demonstrated that Congress can be forced to do their job by putting the public spotlight on them. He is more president than any one since JFK. And the only reason the IC succeeded is that JFK never saw it coming. Trump is wide eyed and awake to the real threat
Sundance,

Trump’s best move to prevent war against Russia would be to NOT endorse Lindsey Graham.
Patrick Lancaster independent journalist is close to the war frontlines and has been interviewing Ukrainian soldiers who have defected and are now in a Ukrainian battalion fighting AGAINST Ukraine and saying they want to free Ukraine from the Zelinsky crowd. So there is a growing movement within Ukraine of revolt.
Good luck with Starmer if he thinks he can send British troops because there are hardly any and those USA missiles? They are no match for the Russian ones.
The West is going to get badly whopped by Russia.
The Chinese are just waiting to see what goose gets cooked first, so they can feast on the ordeal. They will enjoy a European goose, just as much as a Russian goose or a USA goose. They need land cheap and this is the cheapest way to acquire it!
SO WHO IS THE IC, REALLY?
The Soviets paid by far the greatest price in blood in “The Great Patriotic War,” both in Germany and later with Japan. They were the force that handed the Allies victory on both fronts, and they lost far more young men than any of them – including us.
To these ends, they celebrate “Victory Day” as one of their most-somber national holidays. Everyone, including Putin, has a black-and-white photograph of a family member lost to that war. Their so-called “Ghost Regiment.” These people will never be forgotten – nor the circumstances that caused their deaths.
The Russians, today, clearly understand the reasons why “Real Nazis” are in Ukraine. They have fought Nazis before. They will never forget.
France, England, and (ironically enough) Germany already have. They forgot that: “War Is Hell.”
They didn’t forget, they saw nothing.
Those in charge today think of war only as a racket. H/t Smedley Butler
Please tell us how the USSR paid the highest cost in blood with Japan from declaring war on 8 August 1945 to its ending on 2 September 1945.
That picture of Putin… He has a “moon face,” like you get when you’re on steroids — e.g. prednisone — for health reasons. Health reasons like cancer. Just wondering.
Best not say too much bad about someone who has been serving for as long as he has. He still appears to be firmly in control. I do not observe a man whose body is yet turning against him – unlike Biden, and Reagan.
Good points but consider this…Prednisone is a known cause of personality changes that include what we know as “roid rage”.
Roid rage is primarily associated with anabolic steroids, which are different from corticosteroids like prednisone. Anabolic steroids are often used to enhance athletic performance and can lead to increased aggression and violence.
The Blob has been saying that the Big C has had a stranglehold on Vlad for at least 4 years now.
Love the site. Not buying this line: … “yet Trump is forced by the inertia toward war to maintain a footing of expanded conflict with Russia.” Trump forced!?! His domestic agenda is secure with passage of the Big, Beautiful Bill. So that’s not hanging over his head. And President Trump forces Congress, not the other way around. I can think of just one thing that would prompt HIM to continue the proxy war and that’s a belief that President Putin now will not stop until he has most or all of Ukraine. The eastern part for the Russian-speaking population and the west for buffer.
What a learning curve these last ten years have been.
I correspond regularly with a childhood friend in Scotland, and just this morning we kept the content to to family and golf.
We grew up playing links courses like Carnoustie which was a few miles down the road from home.
Why do I mention this, because my good mate a guy that held an important position, and one with a lot of authority, and responsibility prior to his retirement.
Chooses not to “ get into” the various messes that Europe is enmeshed in.
He is no shrinking violet..but is now only concerned with family and friends.
He stated several years back that Scotland and the U.K. was ( a very bad word) that war, led by NATO and migration would break the nation.
Negative or realistic…
I grew up there, the class system is very real. One city London determines everything.
The mayor of Englands two largest cities London and Birmingham have Muslim mayors, until recently Scotlands first minister was Muslim.

Brilliant move by 47. Looks like he sees through Putin’s lies about Ukraine. Putin wants ALL of Ukraine, and will scuttle any peace efforts that would back him into taking only the Donbas.
There really is no American national interest I can see involved in Ukraine, but the Europeans are understandably nervous and upset about the invasion of a European country. Long memories. They are SO upset that Sweden and Finland, both long-time NATO holdouts, have now JOINED NATO. All of Europe now recognizes who the threat is. It is an expansionist Putin. Putin didn’t “invade” Ukraine. Putin invaded Ukraine.
So, 47 says “Not America’s problem, but we’ll be happy to supply YOU (meaning NATO, not Ukraine) with everything you need to take care of YOUR problem. What you do with it is up to you. Keep it. Ship it to Ukraine. We don’t care.”
Putin must be absolutely fuming about this. Oh, and the DC war hawks must be fuming about it as well. No direct US involvement. F all of them.
Keep drinking the Western Intelligence Cabal’s grape Flavor Aid, trapper.
The whole thing is a setup to keep the DEEP STATE in power. It goes like this:
Trump has great MAGA ideas to make america great again. He makes signed declarations that the Government will move in this direction, with much fanfare!
BUT
Congress needs to AGREE with Trump’s Declarations and he needs just 51 percent of Congree to agree with what Trump signs!
NOW since CIA is EVIL Deep State enity… and hires people like Epstein to entrap congress people in sex child kid porn, and make videos of it, … Deep State tells these congressmen how to vote … and if they don’t “stories will come out to remove them”. So, Trump has to add pork to bills to sign stuff, unless they are told say NO to bill.
Do you see the game! Trump has to get the votes but it compromises Trump to stay “pure as snow”, and he has no choice.
Sundance can correct me if I’m wrong.
Bondi was going after Epstein, but she didn’t go after the CIA for hiring Epstein, that keeps the game going on.
How do we defeat the Deep State. I don’t know, maybe Sundance can explain. 🙂
I’m sure you are well aware of the FSB tailing you all of the way. I lived in Ukraine for 7 years. I knew people in the SBU, US Embassy in Kyiv and US Dept of State (security) in Odessa. I met the US military attaché to the Kyiv embassy. I’m well aware of Ukraine population’s psyche. They WILL fight.
Safe Travels
Not just the FSB.
Our own and other ICs are now watching this, and certainly also our host and his travels.
Living a best life, completely in the open, is the best way to navigate those situations.
Why would the US have an obligation in the war between Ukraine and Russia through its NATO membership when neither Russia nor Ukraine are members of NATO? Also, if President Trump is not in charge of whether or not to send weapons or money why doesn’t he say so and publicly give the specific names of agencies and people who are taking our tax dollars and doing this. When more American voting citizens know these facts there will be more to raise a public ruckus about it and vote accordingly to take away or reduce the power from those who currently are getting us into these wars.
I hate the way people in power over institutions in the West look down on the intelligence of the average citizen and take the ‘noble lie’ approach. These pretenses when it comes to Russia/Ukraine serve no purpose at this point. I wish President Trump would speak plainly to those who voted him into office. Maybe he’ll surprise me Monday.
But the reason I was converted to supporting President Trump happened when he gave that first foreign policy speech back in the Spring of 2015 during his first Presidential primary, saying the unthinkable about NATO and the Iraq War. He trusted the people with honesty then, and we voted him into office.
By sending weapons to NATO doesn’t this give Trump the power to withdraw the US from any escalated conflict by declaring Ukraine is not part of NATO? Couldn’t he stop sending weapons to NATO citing their violations?
The whole enterprise is crazy beyond all belief. We WON the cold war, and now we have lost the peace. Clinton should have pulled us our of NATO when the Russian’s overthrew the Soviets.
From the apex of winning to the bottom with this disturbing development in what, 1 week? The “COVID” of President Trump’s second term. It feels like an existential gut punch.
The rapid trajectory of our position with this war in just 6 months is stunning. Knowledge is power, so they say, so it’s time to spend more time in prayer and communion with the Almighty, summon strength and deal with what is to come. So very grateful for this site and all of you!
No way is Ukraine a sovereign country in the first place. Sovereign countries pay their own bureaucrats, pensions, and other costs of government. The United States pays for all of that for Ukraine, which keeps Ukraine in the fight even more than providing weapons and ammunition to Ukraine.
Even the name of the entity comes from the Russian phrase u kraya which means “borderland” (literally “at the edge”).
The way to force all those groups to drop the pretense is for PDJT to call the Ukraine conflict “a proxy war for the US Senate, not the American people, and not me.”
He’s not getting anywhere by pussyfooting around the obvious. He needs to rally the American people to rise up and rebel against the IC and Senate.
He should also start talking about how he’s trying to negotiate with Russia in good faith, but the Sevate and IC are conducting unilateral and unauthorized attacks on Russia WITHOUT PRESIDENTIAL AUTHORIZATION.
If we are to prevent a nuclear holocaust, we must confront this bravely. Make the Congress declare war on Russia while Trump gets the public riled up to oppose it.
Time to break some necks.
I tend to agree (again) Hokkoda. Just like I wish he had turned the question about Epstein over to Director Ratcliffe instead of Bondi. I think its time to put the IC “on blast” as the kids say including, and in particular, the SSCI.
Exactly Hokkoda. When something IS broke, don’t fix it. Get rid of it. There’s no bartering his (President Trump) with the war mongering Senators and Reps. Their war grift is too great to satisfy.
He should also announce a 90-day review of the NATO treaty and whether the US is going to remain a member.
Putin started out in a similar position, wedged between oligarchs and our CIA. I suspect he still struggles with these same forces to a certain extent.
JULY 11 2025
This is a dangerous situation. But PDJT didn’t create it.
I think he wants to end it, the slaughter, and wants peace. No more death.
Peace here requires both combatants to come to the table. That requires pressure, and dealmaking. A deal.
The thumbscrews were on Zelensky. Putin may have misread that, and moved too quickly in the wrong direction. Perhaps he didn’t read Art of the Deal carefully enough. It was an opportunity, not an opening.
So now the pressure moves back on Putin a little more. Hopefully, Zelensky and the international warmongers don’t misread the move, as Putin did the last one.
Because this President could decide to flip the script again against them next month if they do.
Art of the Deal, folks. The stakes on this one are very, very high. There are nuclear chips at the corner of this table.
But this President wants peace. Two weeks ago, he was anointed the Peacemaker by many here and elsewhere. And he wants a deal. A peace deal.
This is the way he wants to navigate it. Let him exercise his artistry. Let him orchestrate this to a deal. There are few better at making great deals.
Art of the Deal, folks. You’re watching it in real time.
