With approximately 120 killed in the devastating floods, President Trump and First Lady Melania travel to Texas today to visit with those impacted. The President and First Lady departed Joint Base Andrews earlier and RSBN will be covering the day’s events.
Together the first couple will survey damage, meet with the families of victims, and President Trump is expected to join local and state officials for a roundtable about current recovery efforts.
Video of the departure is below and RSBN ongoing livestream coverage is below the fold.

Our First Lady – dear lovely Melania!
God bless you and President Trump!
Things like this are just one reason the people love President Trump and First Lady Melania. With everything seeming to go sideways around the President, he takes time out to go to TX and meet with flood victims and parents who lost their precious children. I cannot imagine the anguish of the parents still searching for missing children. President Trump and First Lady Melania deeply care about real people with real problems in their everyday lives. They truly want to help. God Bless them both. 🙏❤️
I truly hope there is time and privacy for them to meet ‘at length’ with the grieving families, in a meaningful manner…a personal and quiet, away from the politicians and press.
I cannot imagine the grief that is being felt….
I don’t know how except through God given strength people who woke up one morning knowing all was well only to lose precious lives within 24 hours carry on from one minute to the next.
My tears for all of them haven’t stopped…
I am grateful for whoever produced this image. If I had lost a child, I would imprint this in my heart and memory, possibly the only thing which could give me peace, which is in the gift of our Lord and Saviour Whom I pray will be near to any grieving souls….
Until they are reunited once more 🙏🏻💔
In Jesus Name. AMEN! 🙏

Watch this 28min video, from a man who isn’t big on proclaiming ‘miracles’ – but can testify to God’s Presence in the midst of his close friends’ great loss. It is a wonder…

I do want, and I will watch….
I sense it is something all of us need right now…
Thank you 💕
Sorry,… this video lost me at 20% off prayer kits.
How do you think ministries pay for the finances needed to spread the Good News?
Good thing you were able to put that discouraging word out right below this beautiful, hope-giving video…
The evil one has his minions out in full force on CTH lately, that’s for sure.
😢💕
Precious Image!
Yes, keep it in hearts and minds.
Story about a little boy who recovered from a drowning. He said, “JESUS holds all drowning children.”
May The LORD’S Comfort surround these families and friends who’ve lost someone.
Saw a comment on X a couple of days ago. A man overdosed on fentanyl and was in a coma. His mother was there when he woke and the man said “do you know that Jesus was Lazarus friend?”. After that he turned his life around, got married, got a CDL and has children.
Darn onions..
At your house too?! 😉
Oh gosh Betsy… a heartbreaking yet profoundly beautiful image. 😭
“…weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
One morning it will come, Alleycats. No more pain, no more tears.
Maranatha 🙏🏻
It will come, this I know. Maranatha 🙏
Thank you sis. ❤️
💕
Oh yes Betsy, and I am so looking forward to that day! Blessings to you Betsy. The best decision I ever made was when I got up the courage to comment here. All you Treepers have been so welcoming and loving. You are considered family and I love you all.
Love you, too, sis 💕
Like you, Pat, it took me months of lurking before I dared to say a few words.
Someone whispered, “Go on…you won’t regret it…”
He was right…🙏🏻
I cannot begin to imagine their pain and heartache. May God give them comfort and strength. 😢🙏🏻
Thank you Betsy. I’m compelled to share this image.
Good afternoon Betsy. I continue to shed tears as well for these parents that lost their children. Thank you for this image. It helps me cope with the grief I also feel for the parents. There is another image out there as well, where Jesus is walking with some of the children from the camp. I saw it here, but can not remember when or what day, but it was not long after the disaster. Tears flowing freely as I type.
Disasters and losses are all hard, Pat. But this one has really gotten to me. My youngest texted me this morning saying she was having trouble, too.
It’s the photos which are undoing me. But I remember those who will go back to homes which will be empty and never the same. It’s that which brings the sudden tears…deep mourning brings us closer to Christ. At least I am finding it so…🙏🏻
Oh Lord of Mercy! How can one painting capture such a gamut of emotions? Incredible heartbreak, assuaged by the comfort of the knowledge of everlasting life with Christ.
Bless all the lost, for they are found.
Oh dear Eagle….more tears…
thank you Betsy, that image hit me right in the chest
don’t know how else to describe it
I can’t describe the impact either, nim. You did it for me, my friend 💔
You are off topic and out of order.
Your post is not relevant to this thread….
Totally off topic…
You have the “wong” thread.
Most of the storms and floods during the past few months cannot be just Mother Nature. I’ve read an increasing number of articles on cloud seeding. Stop doing that!!!
Man is not that powerful. Gaslighting apparently is though.
There’s much more to weather weaponization than just “cloud seeding”.
LOTS of well-researched data and info here:

Those cloud seeders must be awful busy.
livestream of the room where the President and First Lady, along with other dignitaries, etc. will be meeting, people beginning to gather in the room:
I’m watching President Trump, Melania, and Governor Abbott talk to various First Responders (no sound available). I noticed as each First Responder shook Melania’s hand, he took off his cap- a sign of respect. Thank you, Gentlemen.
Texas. I was blown away when I landed in Dallas from New York City 50 years ago. Generally speaking, the men here are still such Gentlemen and that’s how they raise their sons. Good People.
Watch the Live-stream video. All the flood relief guys and officials take their hats off when they shake the First Ladies hand. Texas respect-

I’m in tears. Watch how respectful every firefighter is greeting Trump, taking their hat off for Melania
