Mullin did ok with a couple of the questions:
1) What is so hard about asking able Medicaid recipients to work 20 hrs/week? Welker responds that 92% of Medicaid recipients work, Mullin missed a comeback opp to state that 8% is waste, fraud & abuse. Those are real $$$.
2) Infants born to parents here on a vacation visa should be deported with their parents to keep the family together. Of course he’s right!
I would like to dig deeper into those numbers and see how accurate they really are.
I do understand that the Chamber of Commerce aligned big box stores do love to hire people for minimum wage and give them 28 hours a week so that they don’t have to pay benefits, so people end up on Medicaid for health insurance That is not okay!
But how many of the people on Medicaid who supposedly “can’t” work, simply don’t WANT to work? Those are the questions that need to be answered, IMHO!
None of this law stops that. Corporate welfare was not touched in the BBB.

I know plenty of people who draw disability and work full-time “under the table.” I know there are provisions for ” work quarters” that count at half speed for people who are able to “work a little bit” above board and stay on disability but “under the table” cash is not reported and not taxed. I bet most “disabled people” are doing this because one is hard pressed to live on disability/Social Security (and full Medicare/Medicaid benefits) alone. They also draw food stamps in addition to taking full advantage of local food banks. It is a gold mine and triple dipping at its finest. We are not even talking about Section 8 housing and utility subsidies. Much better than the poor Joe Schmo who is drawing 7.50/hr. minimum wage in honest pursuit of employment.
And THAT is the issue that no one seems to want to discuss!
Many “Joe Schmo’s” end up disabled retired because of working hard for low wages and lots of life stress. The amount of money they receive and are expected to live on is an insult and even more insulting after the last few years of giving everything free to criminals who poured in. These people are truly unable to work and I don’t agree with them possibly being treated as criminals. Also how many that might be healed are dumped into disability retirement and Medicaid simply because insurance doesn’t want to pay to make them well or even try? In these cases Social Security and Medicaid amounts to corporate welfare for refusing to do their jobs while making record profits. The amount paid is punishment for getting sick. I also am disgusted at those working the system but they aren’t all in that category.
What % of these disabled people are obese? It seems very few are responsible for their obesity. Same with alcohol, marijuana and other drug abuse. We have a large % of our nation that are fat, lazy, and substance abusers. It begins with tolerance at home and in the schools. We have lowered the standards, so everyone is just wonderful, and it is not their fault. Oh wait! It’s the successful peoples fault they are losers, not them.
Government workers might be a good place to start.

I also know people who are untreated or were maltreated by physicians/hospitals or go without treatment due to living conditions, lack of any transportation or simply have no idea where to go or who to ask that are in need of help. I know elderly who’ve worked all there lives, paid into ss and Medicare that don’t bring in enough to put a roof over their head, pay for utilities etc..and have to choose between life saving medication or food. It’s sick and pathetic!

In my neighborhood, just outside of aSeattle, almost every new house that is sold is going to someone from India, the Middle East, or SE Asia who comes in on a work visa, and then brings their wives, parents, and in-laws, all of whom qualify for some type of aid, usually SSI and Medicare/Medicaid, even though they have never worked a day in this country, nor paid a dime in taxes. But when they all live in the same house, it adds up to thousands of dollars a month, which allows them to purchase very nice homes and price my kids completely out of the market!
And under the current laws, all they have to do is produce one child, who is automatically a Us citizen, in order to keep the racket going forever and ever amen!

The easiest and surest way to eliminate fraud, waste and abuse in Medicaid is to simply require all Medicaid participants to be enrolled in HMOs. The federal government simply pays the HMO premium and the HMO provides whatever medical care is necessary. Of course, there must be safeguards that necessary medical care is being provided however with this mechanism fraud is completely eliminated since the government isn’t being billed for services. The HMO approach has been suggested since the 1970s but runs into opposition from the AMA.

I could give 100s of examples similar to from my little town. They could keep me busy busy 40 hours a week.

What is so hard about saying, “Yes. We should deport the babies along with their parents and siblings. The parents broke the law when they illegally broke into the United States. By definition, that makes them criminals. We don’t want to separate children from their parents so the whole family gets deported.”
Mullins was scared to death to give a straight, honest, courageous answer to the question.

Reports that several firefighters have been ambushed and shot while responding to what appears to have been an intentionally set brush fire near Coeur d’Alene in Northern Idaho. Police are said to said to currently be in a firefight with one or more suspects shooting down from a hill towards first responders, with assistance being requested from Spokane, Washington.
As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, multiple first responders have been shot in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, while responding to a brush fire.
CNN reported that two people were fatally shot and several others were injured after a gunman ambushed them.
Currently, there is at least one active shooter still firing at law enforcement officers.
Kootenai County Sheriff Robert Norris stated, “We don’t know if there’s one, two three or four,” shooters.
Kootenai County Emergency Management has told people in the area to shelter in place and asked others to avoid the area.

The Medicaid issue is somewhat complex, and its requirement changes depending on what state you are in. For example, you are eligible for Medicaid in NY, if your monthly salary is $1800 or less, and you have $30,000 in assets or less. This ‘requirement’ is not the same, say, in Ohio, where the monthly income and resource/assets limit is far lower.

Something many may not be aware of, is Josh Hawley supports a bill within the BBB that would give BILLIONS of dollars to people just because they live in a certain zip code for exposure of radiation. To put it simply, one of the many diagnoses listed is diabetes. You do not get diabetes from radiation exposure. Radiation is not a virus. It doesn’t spread to living things and multiply. It also has a half-life. It’s a total scam.
Do we need “something” to compensate those that were truly exposed to radiation, especially during WWII and the Cold War – yes. Downwinders come to mind in the Western states. Native American Tribes were completely ignored during this time and the exposure was absolutely, inhumane. But, here’s the thing: there’s not too many folks still alive that have truly suffered from radiation exposure. Do we have some sort of compensation for the families of those exposed? Maybe. And I only say this because if we had not done what we did back in WWII, we’d be speaking either Japanese or German right now.
Also, I don’t know about you guys, but this business of adding Bills that couldn’t pass on their own to Bills that have a high percentage of passing, is an insult to all of us as American Citizens.
