CTH has continually said that almost no one in Canada has any grasp of what is about to happen within their economy, specifically because only a handful of people realize what President Trump intends to do.
This interview with Kevin O’Leary is a case study in what I have been warning about. If you have any financial affiliation with O’Leary Ventures or ancillary investments that touch on a dependency therein, be forewarned.
O’Leary is only a few months away from exploding against President Trump in a manner that will make the Elon Musk statements about Epstein and Trump seem small by comparison. As yet another Canadian financial voice that just doesn’t get it, O’Leary has no idea the USMCA is about to end. And when it does, oh boy… he will go bananas.
.
[BACKGOUND STORY]

Canada, the welfare client of the U.S.
Maybe two years ago I watched a documentary about Kevin O’Leary which argued he was nothing but a welfare-bum from the standpoint of companies he destroyed by poor leadership on his part and yet he got rich.
…
Even when KOL says the right words about Trump, I have been…brace yourself…leary.
lolol 🙂 🙂 🙂
Honored my friend. Humbled, actually.
To God be all the Glory of the Trump administration.
AMGD
oops = AMDG
It is fine as well
AMGD: Ad Maiorem Gloria Deus
AMDG: Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam
Same meaning. 🙂
Do gratias tibi. Rident stolidi verba latina.
At the risk of offending, I view Latin as akin to speaking in tongues. Unlike tongues, we can learn Latin. Regardless, what value is it when so few understand the language. It edifies the speaker. The Church not so much.
Some pf us studied Latin in middle school. I did. Didn’t speak it, just read it and ingest ed the key root words. Extremely useful later in life but when you’re 11 you have clue of that fact.
I just use Google Translate…. 😎
earned!
AMEN!
Ba-dum … tsss
Exactly! I wish Fox Business would stop inviting him to comment. He is all about himself and how much money he can grab from a venture.
It’s called CAPITALISM…
The likes of which create wealth…
Not (D)estroy it.
If you’re gonna hate on capitalism…
Hate on Elon…
I won’t.
In God We Trust
{All others pay cash}
Trust God
Fear not
No, he is NOT about capitalism… he is a VULTURE.
In that business…
Bulls {buy} make money…
Bears {sell} make money…
Hogs get slaughtered…
CAPITALISM is self policing.
Well, someone named O’Leary had a cow in Chicago…
Even Mrs. O’Leary’s cow knew Chicago was too full of BS.
You should meet his brother, “Really”……
😂🤣😂
Or his other brother Timothy who was really leary
I wouldn’t call him a welfare bum . The success he had with Softkey made him extremely wealthy. One Massive success can make a person rich even if that person goes onto to destroy many other companies😅
O’Leary was a big promoter of the FTX scam.
That’s T E R R I B L Y punny!
“wait for it” would have worked too.
I see what you did there…(1000 is referencing the recent minority opinion on the SCOTUS 6-3 Restraining Order decision)
One of the welfare clients of the United States.
Canada is the cold water Puerto Rico
Hope it don’t tip over.
Most socialists around the globe live large on the backs of the American tax payer.
I don’t care what O’Leary thinks, I’m smart, I’m observant, and I don’t need others to tell me things. O’Leary is an attention whore and it will be glorious to watch him implode.
He only goes on TV because other attention whores want attention (and to keep their jobs).
It’s glorious not to watch him. Give it a try your day will be brighter!
I don’t have a TV; thus don’t watch Fox , but this guy that introduces O’Leary is as dumb as a box of rocks.
He “loves” this guy…he doesn’t even know who he is nor what he stands for.
It takes a dunce to know one.
You’re not missing out with no tv. Mine went when they created surveillance of every home with the digital signal. Such easy bs to spot. People are so gullible and foolish, not so much anymore but the genie is out of the bottle.
“Mine went when they created surveillance of every home with the digital signal.”
I suspect you are unable to explain that…
Do not connect a “smart TV” to the Internet
None are so blind as those that refuse to see.
More people would learn from their mistakes/errors of judgement if they would just admit them.
Kevin’s not there yet…
But he will be.
(Don’t fly too close to the sun, Kevin…)
One aspect of the Canadian economy that not many are talking about is the absolute massive immigration that Trudeau and now Carney have embraced.
Every family we talk to has children that can’t get summer jobs. It is crushing wages as millions are now available to do any job. I don’t think the liberals ever expected massive shrinking of the economy at the same time as they brought in millions of migrants.
It is a perfect storm. If the US thought the Mexico border was an issue, wait until millions of Canadian migrants have nothing here. I wonder if their next move will be to the US.
The US needs to take very seriously the northern border and address its security very soon.
I’m watching in real time what is happening here. Every sector of the Canadian economy is shrinking. People feel it. It is the talk of everyone. Just this afternoon my neighbor said that her company is seeing massive sales decrease. Bad news.
I say bring her down. It serves our liberal voters well!
DD
We live approximately 120 miles from the Canadian border, and the crossing we often used was totally open and unattended. Lately we’ve noticed a lot of Canadian cars going south, passing through our small town.
We used to see a lot of Canadians traveling this way to shop when they could get a good deal on this side of the border, but that can’t be the case now.
So the migration may have already started.
Or some of them might be Canadian criminals hired by the cartels to bring drugs across the border. Since the southern border is too difficult for them they are moving to the northern border now according to what I’ve been reading.
Absolutely this.
Last time we were at the Canadian border — where it is essentially wide open — I remembered being at the Canadian border where the lines were long and we’d been pulled over and inspected by the Canadian police.
Big, big difference in border crossings, which lets us know our “protected” northern border is anything but protected.
As happened here, Dan, liberals there always cheer policies which are bringing Canada low because somehow they as rabid supporters of such must believe they are immune from the consequences. That they can escape the inescapable.
Until they get what they voted for, and get it good and hard like the rest of Canada (hat tip: HL Mencken), Carney will continue as he started and means to go on. The man is a cancerous menace.
Perhaps it will take these brainless ideologues and know nothings going through a sort of economic/financial purgatory before it hits them that they occupy no special “safe” place in Carney’s world. And then Canadians can begin to return to some sort of sanity. Not a short term exercise I grant you.
I pray so, dear sir…
The pendulum is always moving.
Canadians will move to some Mamdani of the North.
Well, Carney has admitted that the whole of Canada would be better off it it were all Islamified. Yes, he actually said that.
Fair warning.
😲
I know!!
That was my face as well.
WOW!
Canada
07.06.2025, 12:19 EST
CANADA: PM Mark Carney, installed by the EU, is normalizing Islamic values by adopting them saying that ALL Canadians “must come together” around the values of Eid, “These are Muslim values
Yep…
And “WOW!!” was all I could manage, too, Mycroft.
WOW….now that we have the Southern border reasonably secure, we’ll have to bring resources to the Northern border. Because of this DH? Huge border…
I’m afraid it is too late.
He’s just plain insane
Be that as it may he holds the reins of power.
What is Carney’s religion?
Globalist atheism.
If that happened Carney would be out of a job and as every other Muslim ruled country, under sharia law.
The UK is essentially there now. There are over 130 Sharia courts operating in the UK. The mayors of some of the biggest cities are Muslim, including, would you believe it, Oxford.
All according to plan.
See NYC and tell me we’re not heading g that way, too.
Betsy,
I don’t doubt your word because I’m sure that idiot WOULD say something that stupid. That said, could you please provide me with a link? I don’t want to tell people this without being able to back it up.
Thanks in advance.
Search Mark Carney ALL Canadians “must come together” around the values of Eid, “These are Muslim values. Many videos pop up.
Beyond confused in siding with factions…Red blooded American First…traveling to Alberta next month…do we sport red white and blue or do we feign ambivalence to the Patriot’s true?
I’d hate to advise. Scope out the environment, then, follow that old saying…when in Rome etc etc.
Alberta seems to be the only Canadian province friendly to the US, over energy policies. Liberal governments in Ottawa have stymied Alberta over it’s oil rich status, Albertans have had enough. Read that as you will.
“Every family we talk to has children that can’t get summer jobs.”
Summer jobs for teens is a CRUCIAL foundation for a healthy and productive society
I started paying into social security as a dishwasher at 50 cents an hour at age 12, did a bit of newspaper delivery on a bike with a basket before that
Teen summer jobs teach them to show up, to listen and pay attention, and to do hard work under the observation and guidance of their superiors
They foster a sense of accomplishment and personal productivity that are diametrically opposed to a handout/welfare mentality
…and a good dose of reality. What I learned on my paper route: There are some real @sshole people out there; there are some generally nice people, but the majority of the people are just there. 😏
Hear Hear!
Up at 5am to deliver papers before school and than trying to collect from deadbeats and the branch wouldn’t let me stop the deadbeats.
Now there are few papers to deliver and they seem to be motor routes.
My two oldest grands, twin lads, both got jobs when they turned 16, nim, at a local upmarket ice cream/burger restaurant and held them until they graduated from high school.
Their younger sister, a senior this year, has two jobs.
I agree with your every word…and they all three would as well.
They’ve learned more about life from those than anything they’ve been taught at school.
You said it!
I started doing jobs for a neighbor and mowing lawns at age 12, usually $1/hour.
At 16, busboy at coffee shop, then “chef” at Der Wienerschnitzel, summer at lake renting out boats.
At age 18, recreation leader, busboy at Sambo’s restaurant, U.S. Forest Service slash/fire crew in summer, Speedee 7-11 clerk.
These jobs taught us the importance of showing up for work, taking orders, doing a good job, getting paid, having your own money. This was a big deal, especially when coming from a big family (7 kids). Working in restaurants was great, because meals were included. Also, gas was $0.33/gallon during the gas wars, and I could fill up my 3.5 gallon tank on my 1969 Honda 350 Scrambler for a little more than a dollar. Plus, get 30+ miles per gallon.
They were also starter jobs, held by teenagers and college-age workers. It is much different today, where we see full-blown adults (mainly from third-world countries) doing this work.
Most of my colleagues who have had long professional careers started out the same way: McDonalds, Baskin-Robbins 31-Flavors, packing cantaloupes, painting houses, pouring concrete, chopping vegetables in restaurants, you name it. We were not too proud or lazy to work.
I feel bad for the teenagers who cannot or will not work. I think it is bad for any country. Thomas Sowell mentions this issue in one of his recent books dealing with minimum wage laws. When enacted, millions of teenaged blacks lost their jobs. In many cases, it sets a pattern that is never broken.
Same here. Had a job at 14. All my 4 kids had jobs at sixteen and first thing they bought was their own cars to get to and from work.
My family was pretty poor. To get school clothes we picked Strawberries and daffodils when I was 12 years old. Then when I was 13 I worker as a motel maid in a seasonal fishing town. It build character and you learn the value of a dollar.
My “Summer jobs” were more widely defined… they were “year-round”, and chores began at about 6 years of age (bed-making, sweeping, etc.)… earlier than that, my elder sister and I pulled a wagon about a block to fill and haul water to the house from a ‘community’ pump (I used to hang on the handle to bring it down)… the chores multiplied when we moved to an even more rural area (prairie). We started receiving a nickel each week at about 6 yrs. of age. Lessons learned early. Yes, your last sentence hits the target.
Agreed D.D.
Here in British Columbia our “ hobby” is small time real estate investing.
We no longer see any potential for profit as a direct result of government taxation, and regulations.
Folks all around us ( even the moderately wealthy) are noticing a shift.
Our restaurants in the lower mainland are generally dirty, grocery stores too.
We have become very third world like in so many ways.
A good friend of mine that happens to be a Sikh, born here fifty plus years ago, mentioned to me recently that the stink of new immigrants on a recent ferry trip bothered him 😟
To me it is little about race, but culture.
We saw it at work decades ago during another wave of migrants/ refugees.
Cheers!
Deke, it’s always about culture but the Marxist liberals turn it into a race issue.
” We saw it at work decades ago during another wave of migrants/ refugees …”
Perhaps around ’97 when Vancouver became “HONG-COUVER” ???
To Dan Dale, Dekester, and all other Canadian Treepers. Love your commentary. I wish more Canadians would post/comment on CTH and identify themselves as Canadians.
I love PDJT and I also love any Canadian that supports PDJT. Treepers from every country recognize that PDJT stands in the way of the globalist onslaught. Canadians are good people. Unfortunately, nowhere near enough Canadians have been red-pilled. BTW, I donated $50 to the Canadian Truckers and a year later Interpol was looking at my LinkedIn profile.
I just returned from an 18 day Italy trip and saw Canadians proudly displaying their Canadian flags on their clothing, hats, luggage, etc. I saw one Canadian couple on the first day of our cruise wearing “Elbows up” shirts, flaunting the phrase originally attributed to Canadian born/Detroit Redwing hockey player Gordie Howe and recently employed by Hollywood Canadian Mike Meyers during a SNL skit to attack PDJT. My Italy trip ended a week before the USA Bunker Buster bombing so I can’t say if the Canadian tourists are still showcasing their Canadian identity, etc. Canadians are in need of MCGA (Make Canada Great Again) training, just like my fellow Americans that suffer from TDS. I will love and pray for both groups (Americans and Canadians) that they realize that they’re being lied to every day by the Legacy Media in both countries and finally see the light. Long Live PDJT!
I was involved with the trucker protest too. Standing on the side of the highway waving my Canadian flag while they rolled past. Donated. My credit card wasn’t linked to my bank account so no problems there.
Amen to that!
All of these guys have their own agenda and when it algins with Trump’s agenda it’s all peaches and cream. When it doesn’t, they will turn on Trump and just like Elon, will blame President Trump for everything bad in the world. But give Leary a few weeks and all will be great again.
No plan is a plan!
Apparently, he took one look at the walking economic train wreck Paul Krugman and said, “Hold my Molson.”
Bring it
Sooner the better
O’ Leary must know and not believe it will happen or he does not want to cause a panic.
Someone call Dom DeLuise, from now on I’m referring to canada as the modern day French mistake.
Canada’s backup plan is to make a nuclear weapon, in a lab under a mountain, to use as negotiation leverage in trade talks with Trump. It turns out that Carney is as dumb as the Ayatollah.
O’Leary said that there should be no tariffs on either side between Canada and the United States so that we can “join against China.”
Surely he’s aware that China and the Snow Mexicans are joined at the wallet in the international drug trade. To pretend not to be aware is the height of idiocy.
As mentioned earlier by Mr. Sundance, Canada has of its own free will de-industrialized, because of “Climate-Change” Fear, unable to make much of anything, e.g. refine oil into gasoline.
It has become a lackey of China and any other country producing necessities for its people.
How far was the United States from becoming just like them, until President TRUMP began stopping the idiocy of “off-shoring,” “Free Trade,” etc. ?
We have been too close to becoming Canada for too long! And much work is still needed: e.g. a few hundred shoe companies have survived here, but certainly the largest market share is held by the Communist Chinese.
That – and many other similar production atrocities (televisions, clothing, and too many other items) – must be reversed!
I haven’t been able to find decent socks in 8 years without tight elastic bands. They’ve been adding and shrinking band sizes continuously. Clothing in general has less material in it all the way around. It would be nice to know where decent clothing is actually produced and made in the USA.

Still seeing plenty of “elbows up” attitude out there. I would expect that to turn into full scale anti-Americanism when things get bad.
Abelard: I think the only anti-Americanism in Canada is from the same people who are anti-Canadian as well.
Isn’t 0Leary a rich oligarch?
I dgAf what he thinks-says….
O’Canada….you been pimping off U.S. (like Zelenskyy)….
He looks like a Libtard DemocRAT as well. And yes, I do believe they have a certain ‘look’ to them.
Hey all, everyone just take a big sip of your drink and relax. I’m a strong supporter of PJDT and I also support Elon. Musk and O’Leary are trying to protect their Business interests, nothing wrong with that. The only thing that bothered me is his accusation that Trump is part of the Epstein scandal. Could it be, this was an effort to get the list public?
“Could it be, this was an effort to get the list public?”
No
Kevin O’Leary isn’t interested in the welfare of US citizens, he’s talking his book… just as Elon, Jeff Bezos, and the others talk their book. There is no goodwill here. At this level, the messaging is self serving and deceitful.
Bert Piels
The unmistakable voices of radio comedians Bob and Ray. A gentle tug on that thread and you will learn how I chose the name “Smelly Dave.”
Thanks, Longshoreman!
Bob and Ray, what a great memory from too long ago! Kind of a forerunner to Penn and Teller in low key humor, but not quite as endearing.
Bulk up and fight the Chinese? What a doofus.
Wasn’t he big mad about his investment in the thing that Tom Brady was touting?
I thought to myself that he wasn’t all so smart if he bought into that –
it was his mother who was the brilliant investor who had built up quite a massive nest egg over many years.
let the nuck economy implode, then purchase our 51st state on the cheap
our northern neighbors haven’t a snowball’s chance in hades of prospering on their own, especially since their leadership is infiltrated by the wef crowd
they couldn’t run a lemonade stand if their lives were dependent on it
listen as their cries for economic assistance grow in pitch
the eu is in not so great economic shape themselves, so who they going to turn to?
the usa
interesting times ahead
I don’t particularly like the idea of Canada being in anyway part of the United States – we do not need any more leftists here, which Canada seems to have an over abundance of.
We don’t need a northern neighbor overrun by migrants with no intention of assimilating and adopting Western values.
make elections free and fair and that problema is moot
leftist comprising 50% of the voting population, here or in oh canada, is a myth and a psyop
Kevin O’Leary may be wrong about a lot of things, but he is not wrong about the fact that New York has become a socialist mess, and it’s only getting worse. But, I’m more worried about the spread of Islam than I am about rent control.
Mayor Bill DiBlazio showed ’em how to pillage the NYC coffers.
Corrupt minority ventures will be rampant.
Imho.
Mr. Wonderful is about to become Mr. Wonderfool.
Isn’t Kevin MAGA???
I’m kind of surprised at the comments. I always thought the guy was very supportive of President Trump. But there are always wolves in sheeps clothing.
If a folks as supposedly smart as Kevin O’Leary and Mark Carney have no clue that USMCA is about to blow up in their facese then they are living in an echo chamber.
Echo chambers are useful morale builders for depressed, woke politicians and financiers in desperate need to keep their delusions alive in the face of hard, cold reality.
To build an echo chamber all you need is a room full of liberals with an open bar and a dart board with Trump’s picture on it.
Perhaps O’Leary is perhaps unaware, however, I think it is inconceivable that the Prime Minister of Canada has not been fully briefed on the terms governing the USMCA Agreement including what rights participating countries have to withdraw. Given all of his talk of late about Canada being the most European country outside of Europe, my presumption is the minute the U.S. notifies Canada that it intends to withdraw from USCMA, Carney intends to lead Canada through a highly emotional, anti-American campaign in which he pitches Canadians that Canada should join the EU. I also presume all of this has already been discussed with the like-minded globalist leaders of the EU, the UK, King Charles, and the political leaders of France, Germany, Denmark and a host of other European countries, and they will all work in concert to smother Canadians in niceties including but not limited to the right of Canadians to live and work in Europe (and vice versa of course for Europeans).
I may be wrong but Carney carries three passports and has lived in the UK the last decade +/-, i.e., he is more European than Canadian at this point. And for all his posturing in DC after he was elected PM and met with Trump I think he loathes him. Trump ditching all of them at the G7 meeting Carney just hosted was more salt in the wound.
Knowing Canadians pretty well I also think quite a few of them would also enjoy the opportunity to give the U.S. the middle finger.
The question then becomes how the U.S. would respond. That I haven’t gamed out.
Not only when the USMCA ends, but when Trump enacts reciprocal measures against Canadian banks operating in the US. That’s where they make a ton of money…
When the Canadian Banking system falters, Toronto will go in a depression never ever seen. 100,000s financial jobs are in Toronto.
There was once a man named O’Leary
tried to sound and act so cheery
he was a disgrace
fell flat on his face
and made us all just weary.
“The wailing and gnashing of teeth you will soon hear on Canada is only the sound of their Chinese gravy train de-railing. ” some dude on facebook…
USMCA which President Trump authored, wanted and agreed to doesn’t expire until 2036! 🫡
“The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) does not have a specific expiration date, but it does have a 16-year term with a joint review in the sixth year (2026). If the three countries do not agree to extend it during the 2026 review, it will terminate in 2036.
Here’s a breakdown:
Initial Term:
USMCA has a 16-year term.
Review Process:
A joint review is scheduled for July 1, 2026, to assess the agreement’s operation and consider recommendations for action.
Termination: During the 2026 review, if all three countries agree to extend USMCA, it will continue for another 16 years. If they don’t agree, the agreement will terminate in 2036, unless they reach an agreement to extend it during annual reviews over the following 10 years.”
The not-an-idiot-king does an idiotic thing. Canada is in good hands!
Thank you, Sundance.
Noted.
O’Leary calls little Trudeau the Idiot King but says Carney is pragmatic.
-Carney was one of the advisors who set Trudeau’s policies.
-Carney has kept the same team who ran Trudeau, in mostly the same positions.
-Carney has kept the same “idiot” policies, or even doubled down.
(global warming, citizen replacement, wokism and other oppression, …)
-Carney is infamous for his disastrous tenure at the Bank of England (and other things).
…And O’Leary knows all that.
When a pundit goes on institutional TV to pretend something false, he has an agenda.
Maybe he’s buttering up Carney to promote a company he’s invested in.
Maybe he’s leveraged against the Canadian stock market and wants a disaster.
Maybe he thinks he’s helping Canada come to a trade arrangement.
And the Fox talking heads tittered at his insults and called him on nothing.
Maybe they’re really that stupid.
Carney cannot end the dairy cartel as Quebec won’t allow it so the USMCA could indeed be done.
This would give Canada a long recession and its economy would revise to Canadian provinces or Canadians trading mostly among themselves.
Canada would become smaller, immigrants would avoid it. (A good thing) The recession would make it much poorer.
Ending the USMCA would also turn Canada into a thief nation like China as the provisions on intellectual property would no longer exist. Canada could in fact become the largest thief of intellectual property in the world overnight.
Did anyone here listen to the interview? I had seen it live and realize that when O’Leary speaks of the idiot king he means Trudeau, not Trump.
O’Leary from what I’ve seen has been extremely supportive of President Trump and his policies including Tariff policies.
2:14 “So, what, are we all idiots? Why do we have tariffs in either direction? There should be no tariffs whatsoever.”
I think your last sentence is generally true, but – as Sundance noticed – it appears that for some reason O’Leary can’t bring himself to realize that Trump really does intend to impose enough tariffs to balance trade, and at some point O’Leary and the whole Canadian establishment are going to reach the limits of pretending, hit reality, and go nuts.
(We just saw something similar with Iran, where Carlson, Barnes, Jones, Bannon, et al couldn’t bring themselves to believe that Trump really would do the most practical thing and wage war to bring about peace. He did and they went nuts. Luckily they didn’t have the power to harm anybody in their hysterics.)
The HUGE ore deposits of Au, Ag, Cu, Ur, Ni, Pt, etc. in Canada are simply amazing. They are absolutely, hands down, the largest yet highest concentrated ore bodies on the planet… in Canada! However, the Canadian government makes it “easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle” than to open a mine in Canada. Multiple mine owners talk about turning the locals on Ottawa to get jobs is the only consistent way to get operating permits. If Canada ever decides to really return to a value added manufacturing and mining economy they will be a powerhouse. Regrettably, “stupid” dies hard; is very resilient. The moronic woke, progressive-Marxists that run the government will risk losing entire provinces rather than reform the “Vision Of The Anointed.” They could care less about impoverishing their populace as long as their odious social-experimental goals are pushed until either achieved or the nation is destroyed.
This is why I only American etfs now. I believe the Amaerican economy is going to skyrocket and Canada is in trouble. I wish it were different but it seems Canada must learn the hard way that liberal politics and economics are ruining the country. I would rather see Canada suffer than continue on the path it has chosen. I was so disappointed when carney beat Poilivre.
Leary tried to run for Conservative party of Canada but it didn’t work out well. He tried to pass himself off as Canada’s version of Trump and got smacked down mightily.
Almost all of O’Learys business is in America. As in all of his companies etc.
I’ve always been of the opinion that Kevin O’Leary is something of a “successful” snake-oil salesman equivalent … w/ apologies to legitimate snake-oil salesmen equivalents …
It seems as if he uses the word “BRANDING” for something or other in every other sentence — he REALLY LIKES that word and concept — but that’s when my 80 year old eyes begin to glaze over and I start looking for my glass of warm milk and a place to take a nap …
Sorry “Kev’ ” … your time is up.
Mark Carney PM , Canada 🇨🇦
IDIOT KING part 2
Canada is LOST
Mark Carney as a Trustee of the World Economic Forum is bringing WEF values to Canada, shaping Canada’s economic policies to align with the WEF’s vision. to reduce the influence of western populations who only want more stuff. Fewer people, less consumption, less pollution, less disease and less fear of running out of food. It all goes back to Paul Erlich and the Population Bomb, later taken over by The Club of Rome.
Thank you Sundance for leaving in the part about NYC’s next most likely Mayor! O’Leary says move out, pretty tough when you’re stuck finally saving for retirement, have elderly parents, children and grandchildren needing your help. Thank the Lord I live far away from that city at least!
And in a remarkable demonstration of “failing to read the room”, Canada’s CD Howe Institute, which declares itself to be “…Canada’s most influential think tank…” posted the following on their website.
https://cdhowe.org/publication/tariffs-are-bad-uncertainty-is-worse/
LOL
If Carney really wanted a trade deal done, as O’Leary said he did, he had a funny way of showing it. If Mark Carney is pragmatic, he’d start thinking about how to develop Canada’s natural resources including natural gas instead of going to net zero.
Anyone who CHOOSES to go net zero is either a naive fool, or purposely trying to destroy an economy.
So Carney’s behavior shows he doesn’t want a trade deal, [he simply wants money from the US] and his behavior re:net zero shows he’s the opposite of pragmatic.
I didn’t listen to the entire segment when they were discussing why developers want to leave NYC if Mamdani wins. You don’t have to be a genius to understand why.
It is looking like Marc Carney is going to have his head handed to him on a platter if he keeps going down this route. Perhaps he feels he is untouchable, that no matter how much he messes up Canada it won’t matter because he’s a rich globalist and part of the rich globalist club of predators.
Carney is exhibiting signs of being a psychopath given the world of pain Canadians are about to experience which they are completely unprepared for due to his choices and decisions.
I disagree with the premise that O’Leary does not understand the events that are about to happen. He is fully aware of the problems that the Socialist government has caused Canada and the prices for such stupidity that are about to unfold!
And everything he said in that interview was reasonable.
