It is time to FIRE the Senate Parliamentarian, Elizabeth MacDonough. This is not about partisanship, it is about rule of law. She has failed to apply the rules of reconciliation accurately on multiple occasions.

There is precedent for this. The Senate Parlimentarian was fired in 2001 by then Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott.
I don’t state this lightly. This is a very serious matter. But the current parliamentarian has shown clear political bias, applying ideology and not the rules of the Senate.

In 1886 a new law removed the president pro tempore and the speaker from the line of succession, substituting cabinet officers.
A 1947 law changed the order of succession to place the Speaker of the House in line after the vice president, followed by the president pro tempore, and then the secretary of state and other cabinet officers in order of their departments’ creation. This is the line of succession used

The problem is the republicans and democrats have the same benefactors. If you think otherwise you’re pretending.
So are there any Senators or their staff qualified or familiar enough with Senate rules and procedures to make sure the parliamentarian is making the correct decisions and not doing a ‘lawfare’ type twist in making her decisions?
Isn’t this this the same parliamentarian that allowed the second Impeachment Trial of PT in the Senate to proceed without the Chief Justice presiding?
