There is actually an interesting story here, if the media was interested in telling it. Why are members of the intelligence community leaking incomplete reports against the elected leadership of the country? Why have the same reporters who have gotten so much wrong learned so little? What is the purpose of these leaks–who is behind them, and what are they trying to achieve?
The media won’t investigate that story, though it would be in the public interest to do so. So pay attention to the reporters who are laundering talking points from junior careerists in the intelligence community.

That was not an emotional argument. He focused on the fact that this is not a video game.
We the people are individual human beings trying to live our best lives. And our country and civilization are real because we make it so. We care what happens in our communities and our country.
The men who flew the missions care deeply. They risked their lives to carry out that mission. They gave it their all — they are real people with real families and they care about this country. Unlike the media, they don’t make money by going in front of cameras and making up propaganda so as to rake in millions.
President Trump called our attention to the fact that these men are heroes. More importantly, they are our heroes. He reminded us all that we need to treat them accordingly.
The secret to President Trump’s success is that our lives are not an abstraction to him, or an avenue through which to gain money and power. His secret us that he cares about people. He also honors achievement, without which we wouldn’t have a country.
Like President Trump reminded us, we are advised to honor our heroes because they show us and our children how decent people live.
I’d have to disagree with you. These people should be being celebrated but instead they are being negated. We should be celebrating the end of an era of terrorism.

If only they tried a tiny bit. Here are some facts. The Iranians built these underground facilities under stable mountains of rock. After bunker busters they are now unstable. No one will be able to safely clean out and enter these underground cavities for a long time. Even a brand new tunnel entrance would eventually get to the unstable area which would take extensive efforts to progress to any rooms that have not collapsed. Sure they could send in probes and bots but actually getting people inside may not be possible given chemical or radiological contamination.
No one will really know until people try to look. Even getting there by truck may not be possible after Israel bombed the access roads.
I saw a video where two males were headed down into a huge hole that I presume was one of the sites bombed. I wondered if they went down there how they would get back to the top. It was a huge black hole.

Firstly, Sundance isn’t ALWAYS clear. Sometimes he speaks a bit too “insider” assuming we can see the details and nuances that he sees. He’s often too smart for the majority of this audience… or well… maybe he’s just too smart for me. I actually think that is intentional though — he wants to speak to SOME people or CERTAIN people often times and I suspect it works. And other times Sundance is crystal clear and I’m grateful. But it’s the distinction between two modes of clarity which makes me think it’s intentional and probably even necessary. So now, when I don’t quite understand what he sees or understands, I just go “oh… ok, another ‘red october’ kinda thing…. ”
Second, Trump’s communications in public are expressed and directed at the specific audience. He knows if his audience will be CNN viewers, he will express himself in terms THEY will understand. THEY understand emotional arguments and not facts, logic or reason. If you try to use facts, logic and reason on emotionally driven people, those people think you’re lying to them.

This is a war with multiple fronts. The front we have witnessed over the last 45 years is the forever wars in the Middle East facilitated by the corrupt US IC community on behalf of the multinational corporate military industrial complex. My view on Operation Midnight Hammer: bold, brave, necessary and highly effective.
I agree with President Trump that the military strikes against Iran’s nuclear facilities were highly effective.
The Israelis have also said as much.
In terms of deterring the ayatollah’s desire for a nuclear weapon, I don’t believe anything has changed.
I am going to ask the intelligence community whether or not they have seen any evidence since the strike that Iran is changing its stated goal of having a nuclear enrichment program and whether or not it’s still the policy of the Iranian regime to destroy the State of Israel and attack the United States.
Early indications seem to be nothing has changed in terms of the regime’s goals. The head of the Iranian nuclear program, Mohammad Eslami, said yesterday that they’re restarting their nuclear program.
My goal is for the Iranian regime to change its behavior, ending its desire to obtain a nuclear weapons capability, destroy Israel, and target the United States.
