I am stepping off the Trump train today for the reason of his having passed the Real ID Act. When I can’t get my unconstitutional driver license renewed because I have to prove I am a US citizen and I hear him talking amnesty for his corporate buddies and the greedy Pig Farm farmers, I have reached the point of no more passes for Trump from me. I made an appnmnt for renewal of my license 6 months ago and went today by appoinment with my expired Passport(expired because I travel nowhere), Social Security card and my current driver license and was turned away because the REAL ID ACT requires current documents. I have no Birth Certificate because I was born in Havana, Cuba and I was naturalized when my parents became citizens as a child. I have been an outspoken activist and staunch Trump supporter from the beginning but this today ended my unquestioning support. I have reached that point where I can’t continue overlooking many of his liberal tendencies.

IMHO, Bob Dylan is a unique and very talented person and I am glad for any recognition he might receive. As said above, by Caius Keys, at least Dylan DID something as opposed to Obama! His songs ARE poetry. Used to play my brother’s records repeatedly – “Subterranean Homesick Blues” – his ratchety voice was part of it, it sounded like the gray windswept regions and was quite different when we first heard him when he came on the scene (Mom, brothers and I were listening – not our Dad so much, he was into Dixieland and jazz standards). After the Kingston Trio, for example (which we still loved), Bob Dylan was quite different!
I am glad he survived and thrived to some day so many years later be awarded the Nobel Prize! He eluded the Col. Parker-type promoter/manager that took over Elvis.

our old “big screen” (for us, 50″) conked out the other day (the backlight) – well, we had it almost 10 years – so I we got another one, this time delivered from Amazon (instead of driving to Best Buy) – the old one was 1080P, this one is 4000K, which would have been much more expensive in 2016 when we got the first one (1080P for $350 at Best Buy, this one – 4000K – for $279 through Amazon – so I set it all up on Saturday and we have been watching things to see if we can discern any difference. The sound seems better so hopefully she can really enjoy listening to Bob Dylan again!

My take on Mormons is nothing like what you have just said. I have known a lot of them during my lifetime and I still know a few of them and I have never had any conflicts with any of them. They are somewhat clannish, just like most religious groups. I will say that most Mormons have a habit of stopping to give coin to every loser they find begging for money.
