The EU members of NATO have COMMITTED PUBLICLY at least 8-10 times, over the past 10 years, to have those spending lines GREATER THAN 5%.

Here is a thought: for every Percentage Point below 5% in spending … the nation not spending 5% or more gets a PERCENTAGE POINT or more ADDED to their baseline 10% tariff.
Looking at the dates of these spending increases, they are all after Trump’s Presidential term. The earliest date is 2029, with more in the 2030s. They are promising to do absolutely nothing. Trump needs to push for immediate increases to 5% of GDP because we are subsidizing their defense. None of these NATO countries are capable of defending themselves, much less attacking anyone. They should, at a minimum, be capable of defending themselves.

The idea being sold to the people was based on economics with the proposals for common borders, money etc. to provide mich improvement in trade and finance. Somewhere about 1993 they formed the EU and decided they needed a parliament, central Brussels location, a president and sovereignty over individual governments. Following years ramped up the control and socialist policies. My point, the EU continues to “refine” itself ever devolving into more useless but more invasive control. They really think they can walk AND chew gum. Set the fools straight Godzilla Trump.
