Every knocked out drone costs the US/Israel 3 million for the interceptor, and it costs Iran 200,000 to make one.
If this turns into a protracted war, which it could, Israel would have an issue.
That is if its a single interceptor and they actually manage to hit the target, if its a drone.
Hypersonic missile target, like Fattah-1 — I have seen footage of 7 launched patriot interceptors and the thing still hit the target in Israel. That is 21 million US dollars down the drain + damage.
Further tourism has stopped, all of the major deep sea water ports in Israel have shut down, and I am not sure what airlines would want to park their plane on the tarmac with the impending incoming missile alert.
Ultimately the media blitz is going to wear off and the economic reality of a protracted war is going to set in.
The issue is also the US will be forced deeper into the war, when it turns out Israel is getting into dire economic straits. Israel will demand this from the US.

I know. This appears to be diplomacy by “Truth Social”. Which doesn’t mean it won’t work but does mean it is less effective than actual diplomacy.

Later, CNN reported that Tehran never received a ceasefire proposal from the United States, citing an Iranian official.
The official claimed that Tehran would continue the war and that remarks from Israeli and US leaders would be viewed as a “deception” to justify continued attacks on Iran.
Israel has yet to confirm Trump’s announcement at the time of writing.
