However, Trump’s emissary Steve Witkoff never stopped communicating with Iran on peace approach, and negotiated/coordinated a face-saving Iranian retaliation via a happy to oblige Qatar.
Iran retaliated against the USA support for Israel with a pre-planned attack on a U.S. base in Qatar, which was easily managed. Iran saves face against evil Trump. Meanwhile, loyal friend to Israel, Trump has facilitated the request of Bibi. Diplomacy now returns sans operational nuclear sites. No regime change. Prime Minister Netanyahu and Israeli lobbyist Mark Levin are furious.
All the pro-war Israel-First pundits who sold a narrative of Trump duping the Iranians were wrong. Trump never wanted the conflict escalation, nor did Trump pre-plan with Netanyahu to pretend diplomacy. Pure fantasy speculation. The prior diplomatic efforts between the USA and Iran were genuine from the Trump administration, despite the duplicity from the Iranian side.
In a weakened state the Iranian regime and the Israeli government are now directed to engage in “peace and harmony,” against the new backdrop of the nuclear sites out of commission. Trump’s out. We’re done.

I have way too much respect for President Trump to think that Bibi could back him into a corner. Trump supports Israel because it is the right thing to do, and he wants to do it. He sent the bombers to Iran because, as he has said for two decades, Iran can never have the bomb. Israel laid Iran bare with a brilliant series of attacks, leaving the entire country wide open for our B-2 bombers to finish the job. It looks like they did exactly that. I pray the mission was as successful as it currently appears.

So the attacks as Israel being the real threat to peace will return in spades. He would lose any bump in approval in Israel. He would destroy any overarching peace prospects of the Abraham accords. But most significantly, this demonstrates to all, who holds the position of true power? It’s not your Zionist boogie man. It’s the U.S., and more concisely the President. They still need our munitions to continue offensive and defensive operations. We are the muscle that protects their existence. So, Bibi, FAFO! 1) Interesting. Didn’t know that about the approval ratings. But I can believe it. No one in Israel likes the guy. Heck anyone with a small conscience who interacts with him hates him. That’s why there have been huge protests against him for years. He got a small reprieve after October 7 (What a coincidence that something like that happened that could benefit him staying in power). Then everything started back up again after the hostages’ families realized that he didn’t give a damn about the hostages. That may be why Trump has a higher approval. 2) I don’t know about that. I think Trump underestimated how mad people would be with attacking Iran. Especially the way they did. It felt like Deep State actions. With leaks to Axios and Rubio getting on TV pretty much saying oh yeah we made the decision to kill the Ayatollah on March 7 made people feel that the negotiations were a ruse to get Iran to put its guard down so that they can attack. Didn’t help that Trump pulled the same stunt with how he was going to take 2 weeks to make a decision then attacks the next day. That was what made people think Trump changed and was following the deep state. Trump in his first term would have been honest. He was a straightshooter and even people who didn’t like him begrudgingly admitted his foreign policy due to that attribute. After the 60 day window, he would have said time’s up. Negotiations failed. We are going to attack. There would less sympathy for Iran if they complained since everyone would say he was upfront with you guys. This time, he said don’t worry. We won’t attack you and will have another round of negotiations on Sunday. Then attacks and says it was already past the 60 day window. That’s bullshit and would make anyone pissed off. It’s why he was lashing out for a bit saying he defines America First and things like that. Then I think overtime he realized he could fracture the MAGA base continuing on this path and pulled the quid pro quo with Iran.
As I brought up Netanyahu needs the US to be the meat shields and when Trump decided not to put boots on the ground, Netanyahu had no choice but to agree with the ceasefire. He knew he couldn’t attack Iran alone. That’s why he is having a temper tantrum and just dropping bombs everywhere in Iran before the ceasefire starts.
But I agree that the Domestic issues are important now. Ignore Rollins and her buddies to start increasing the deportations, improve the economy, get BBB passed, and give a swift kick to Patel, Bongino, and Bondi into do their jobs and people will forget this in a year.

This is where some of you are missing the boat. Do you not know that Trump was drafted for this in 2015. It is well known by now, that he was approached by a group of military, retired and current, intel and law enforcement, and others in different disciplines, who thoroughly vetted Trump and have been intimately involved, that most are not aware of. They have been back channel emissaries to certain international leaders. The reason Trump doesn’t need the daily intelligence briefing, is because his intelligence is current and accurate, with agreements with some on coordinated actions. Trump has much knowledge of how to proceed, due to this clandestine communications. And he also has moles on the inside to let him know how adversaries are inclined to do. He is not doing this blind, and it is this hidden group that are working with him to expose and take down the Deep State. This is a war, and plans have to be altered at times. But the focus is on defeating and taking down as many of the seditious demons as possible. I can sense it in the air, and so can the UniParty/Deep State vermin.

Iran will be hard to drag over the peace line with normalization towards Israel….or at least an end to open hostility and terrorism.
However, one of the reasons I am hopeful, besides the fact that Trump has an excellent negotiation team, is that:
1). Trump has developed good relations with the major middle east countries; and…
2). Trump has forged good relationships with Iran’s allies (like Russia and Qatar) to help put pressure on Iran.
Yes, and it’s also true there are fewer zealots on the Iranian side. The powerful people who are no longer with us will be replaced. But maybe some of the replacements will see the world is changing and that to live up to their heritage they will need to be part of it.
“Ceasefire” is Iranese for rearm and reload. There will never be peace as long as the mullahs maintain a war oriented theocracy.

We’re just going on satellite imagery and shows some big holes but we don’t know the extent of the the damage to their facilities.
