The frustration with the Rand Paul and Thomas Massie political opposition is understandable. However, this approach by President Trump comes with the possibility of a backfire.
PRESIDENT TRUMP – “Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky is not MAGA, even though he likes to say he is. Actually, MAGA doesn’t want him, doesn’t know him, and doesn’t respect him. He is a negative force who almost always Votes “NO,” no matter how good something may be. He’s a simple minded “grandstander” who thinks it’s good politics for Iran to have the highest level Nuclear weapon, while at the same time yelling “DEATH TO AMERICA” at every chance they get.
Iran has killed and maimed thousands of Americans, and even took over the American Embassy in Tehran under the Carter Administration. We had a spectacular military success yesterday, taking the “bomb” right out of their hands (and they would use it if they could!) but, as usual, and despite all of the praise and accolades received, this “lightweight” Congressman is against what was so brilliantly achieved last night in Iran.
Massie is weak, ineffective, and votes “NO” on virtually everything put before him (Rand Paul, Jr.), no matter how good something may be. He is disrespectful to our great military, and all that they stand for, not even acknowledging their brilliance and bravery in yesterday’s attack, which was a total and complete WIN. Massie should drop his fake act and start putting America First, but he doesn’t know how to get there — he doesn’t have a clue!
He’ll undoubtedly vote against the Great, Big, Beautiful Bill, even though non-passage means a 68% Tax Increase for everybody, and many things far worse than that. MAGA should drop this pathetic LOSER, Tom Massie, like the plague! The good news is that we will have a wonderful American Patriot running against him in the Republican Primary, and I’ll be out in Kentucky campaigning really hard. MAGA is not about lazy, grandstanding, nonproductive politicians, of which Thomas Massie is definitely one. Thank you to our incredible military for the AMAZING job they did last night. It was really SPECIAL!!! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.” (LINK)
(VIA AXIOS) – President Trump’s political operation has launched an aggressive effort to unseat Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie, its first such effort to defeat a sitting Republican incumbent, Axios has learned.
Trump’s $500 million political apparatus is the most powerful, well-funded force in American politics — and gives Trump a weapon with which to target any lawmaker who crosses him.
Trump’s team has launched Kentucky MAGA, a super PAC devoted to defeating Massie in the May 2026 primary.
The organization will be run by Trump’s senior political advisers, Tony Fabrizio and Chris LaCivita.
LaCivita said the PAC would spend “whatever it takes” to defeat Massie.
Plans for taking on Massie were in the works before the congressman decided to call Trump’s attack on Iran unconstitutional, a Trump aide said. (more)

Let’s hope after the BBB passes with all the treasonous crap the Senate inserted….PT will go after those Senators with the same zeal.
So then .. this doesn’t matter?
AMERICA – We need to fight this. Our congress must strike this from the Big Beautiful Bill
The Big Beautiful Bill – The GOP has included a 10-year Big Tech moratorium giving Palantir Technologies free rein without oversite and regulation in every state, denying the 10th Amendment and state’s rights. Big tech is in overdrive creating a MASTER DATABASE on all US Citizens. Everything about you will be in one digitized system. Can you not see the total control of this?
This was the reason for JD Vance candidacy then
It does matter. Did Massie say this? You don’t say where it’s from. But whoever wrote it is right. This is a HUGE problem. There was a senator I believe who was against RealID even up to the point where it was implemented. RealID goes right along with the things Palantir is doing. Trump can’t see it, he thinks it’s a good idea and will help the US fight terrorism, crime, etc. whatever. This will be the downfall of his presidency like the vaccine almost was. He didn’t understand earlier when he was giving speeches and he would talk about the vaccine that everyone would boo him. He finally asked a friend who told him the truth. He said I guess I don’t talk about the vax anymore then. Someone needs to tell him about who Palantir really is and their end game with their surveillance garbage. Maybe we need to do a huge mail campaign to him regarding this issue and quickly. The cabal is still working and working right through President Trump.
If you are under any misconception that every scrap of info about you is already on file, you are sadly mistaken. Do you really think Google, Apple, Meta could be hacked in a normal situation?
The only danger is if we lose.
They had it all ever since you were born.
This is one of President Trump’s blind spots. But Trump is Trump and he is all we have.
Frankly, I can’t figure Massie out.
Is he his own man?
Does he vote according to his principles?
Is he a Republican (yep, that covers a range from very liberal to very conservative)?
Or is he an Independent posing as a Republican?
I find myself saying he’s right on some of his votes. But on others, I ask myself, what is that knucklehead doing?
From AI: “Thomas Massie’s core principles center around limited government, fiscal responsibility, and individual liberties, often aligning with libertarian ideals. He emphasizes a strict interpretation of the Constitution and believes the federal government’s power should be severely limited. He has been described as a “constitutional conservative” and a “libertarian Republican”.
Like Rand Paul he’s McConnell’s man, he’s the club for growth’s man. Like all libertarians he preaches one thing but all his actions guarantee the opposite outcome.
Add Brian Fitzpatrick of Pa to this effort. Worst “Republican” representative in Congress.
Rand Paul’s divergent from what appears as the MAGA path are always based on Fiscal or Constitutional issues. I believe he has the countries best interests in mind, and doesn’t follow the crowd.
Trump started a war for no reason!
We were not attacked. It was all done for Israel, who pressured him into doing.
Just like they pressured Bush into starting the Iraq War.
Now Putin is saying that Russia will be assisting Iran, and other reports say they will be providing them with nuclear warheads.
Welcome to WWIII.
And say goodbye to MAGA.
Because you cannot have “America’s Next Golden Age” if you’re in the middle of fighting WWIII.
President Trump’s Chief of Staff is a Bushite, and she’s limiting all access and information to the president to Bushite perspectives and goals.
Suzie Wiles was a terrible choice; at whose recommendation????
And now you are back again. Get over yourself and exit, stage left.
As great as Trump is, it’s a sad shame. He can’t just let some things go without personally taking it as a kick in the teeth. Not every single Congress person is going to agree with everything you do. But he takes it personally.
So do I.
For a learned cool-headed analysis of the Iranian nuclear facility bombings, go to American Greatness and read Victor Davis Hanson’s Ten Questions article.
Massie isn’t as strong as his supporters and simps think he is. His online cheering section do not live in Kentucky let alone his district. Checking Massie’s primary elections he has lost votes in every election since he first got elected. Bob Good the head of the freedom caucus lost his primary because he couldn’t get north of 35K votes. In 2024 a very active primary cycle Massie pulled in less than 40K which is almost 30K less than what he got 4 years earlier. The guy is ripe to get taken down, it will depend on who they run against him. You can swipe most of the guys issues and paint him as nothing more than a clown.
As someone who lives in Massie’s district, I would love to see him gone. He represents himself, not the people of Kentucky. He rarely sets foot in my area of the district and never asks his constituents their opinion on anything. He never communicates with any of us that he’s supposed to represent.
Sundance, President Trump’s attempt to unseat Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie may ‘backfire’, but it will not be because Trump’s criticism is untrue. Massie may be smart, but he is not wise. And he certainly is neither loyal nor helpful. He is not helping our country.
I wonder at his wife’s fast demise.
No backfire here. I knew this guy was a rat from day one.
He sure thinks he is something special. Quite the ego.
VERY disappointed in DJT’s words tregarding Massie ! Why doesn’t he do that to the RINOs ???!!!!!
We will find out who is right and who is wrong when the government shuts down. Other than the tax increase I would be all for that.
Sometimes you have to take one for the team. The loss could end up be a lot bigger than your personal win. Massey’s problem is he has zero support in Congress. Massive loses no matter what happens. That’s politics.
Shame on Trump. We need reps like Massie to hold the line in spending & the constitution! The Freedom Caucus certainly isn’t! Make the RINOs work harder in making the BBB better and at least a little beautiful. Repeal and get rid of the green scam/inflation reduction act. Get rid of the wasteful depts. How much longer before we are like Venezuela was and more and more people are really suffering.
