Hasn’t been “One and Done” since Iran held our embassy personnel hostage for 444 days in 1979, followed closely by murdering 241 U. S. I remember dating an Iranian girl back in the late 90s whose dad had worked for the Shah. He had been put in prison by the ayatollah. He was eventually released and came to live with his family here in the US. I also recall they insisted on calling themselves Persians, not Iranians! Maybe the people can be free, finally — turns out we just needed a new President.
I dated a Persian, through high school that was here with his brother to get a degree in Architecture at Pepperdine University. Their father was the Architect for the Shah. They were Bahai in faith. When the Shah exiled to the US, the Ayatollah attacked the palace and his father and the rest of his family were killed. If anyone called him an Iranian he’d promptly correct them and say he was Persian not Iranian. It was a sad day when they learned of their family’s death.
I dated a beautiful Iranian woman while in college mid 70’s who was majoring in chemical/petroleum engineering, along with her 3 equally gorgeous friends, all paid for by the Shah government thru PhD. 4.0 straight A students at Georgia Tech. Their education was their primary focus, but the freedoms of Americans followed with a close second. They loved the American student free lifestyle. Then the Shah was deposed, and I never heard from them again.
We are not at war with the people, just their government. And yes, we will bomb that government into submission if we have to.

The geostrategic objectives in Iran are the oilfields which UK needs to recapitalize its failing banking system. Much like Syria. There are reasons why this is happening now.

I’m with Trump. He has consistently said he will not allow Iran to have a nuc. He has consistently done all he could to avoid acts of war. He went for it because based on the best intel available to him Iran had obtained or was about to obtain an A-bomb.
Now all the worlds leaders know that with Trump in charge the US will use the iron fist inside the velvet glove of diplomacy if the president determines he it is the only viable alternative.
And reports tonight that there have been very few Iranian missile launches at Israel as their launch sites are destroyed and their stockpiles are depleted.
What’s next? Nobody here knows. I suspect there is a very good chance the BDA will not show conclusive evidence that the objective of taking out Iran’s ability to build a bomb for some time to come And if that’s the case there will be a follow up strike or possibly strikes.
If in fact somehow it was a one and done, I have no idea what is going to happen.
PDJT said within two weeks. He said he could decide to strike at anytime, that no one knows his decisions but him. He never said he gave them two more weeks.

This happened for 1 reason and it’s not “the Jews” it happened because the US was attempting to establish negotiations through Turkey with Witkoff, Vance and their Iranian counterparts. The ayatollah went offline for 4 days and the back channels and meetings prospect went dark
I am concerned about possible retaliation by Iranian sleeper cells in the US. Intelligence suggests thousands or more admitted w/o vetting during Biden.
That may happen. I suspect that was in the cards whether we bombed Iran or not. What this does is takes the nuclear card off the table. I’m certain if Iran had a bomb, we would have seen it used. I believe they were close. Iran was never going to negotiate away their nuclear program.
President Trump isn’t doing the Bush regime change dance. He’s targeted their nuclear sites and if Iran tries to shut down the Strait of Hormuz, then he will use Tomahawk missiles and naval power to maintain the seaways. He isn’t playing the coalition card with 300k troops.
I would think PTrump knows all about that issue and took precautions when he decided to do this action. He would not be oblivious to danger within his own country unless he has been deceived.

Maybe Israel should now bomb Fordow? They only have no more than 5,000 pound bombs?, but now that Fordow has presumably got a big hole in it, even 5,000 pound bombs should take a further toll. Worse that could happen would be very little further effect.
