I’m becoming increasingly convinced that people on the ConInc side of the conversation also need to pretend not to know things.
There is an increased sentiment of frustration toward President Donald Trump being espoused, and obviously that will be amplified by those who want to use a narrative of “increased sentiment of frustration toward President Trump.”
The part that surprises me is the part where people seem to have forgotten the purpose of the U.S. Senate.
CONTEXT – Currently there is a Big Beautiful Bill (BBB) in the senate, the culmination of years of work by President Trump and his team together with politicians in congress. There is no smaller BBB, there is no modified BBB, there is only one big comprehensive package of initiatives and priorities for President Trump’s agenda. One Big Beautiful Bill.
That’s it. Just this one legislative priority that has all the stuff Donald Trump promised in the 2024 election. It’s all in one bill; all of it. As a consequence, President Trump needs this bill to pass congress; there is no fallback position; there is no alternative; there is no safer option. The BBB is an all or nothing swing for the fences.
GAINING VOTES – This BBB is the legislative package approach that President Trump accepted. As a consequence whatever it takes to get that BBB legislation passed, is exactly what we should expect to see done. Remember, this is a legislative construct that only targets REPUBLICAN VOTES. Republicans control every element of this BBB discussion.
People not happy about President Trump remarks about illegal-alien farm workers. Well, President Trump is buying gaining the votes of Big Ag state senators.
People not happy about President Trump support for Israel. Well, President Trump is buying gaining the votes of Big War senators.
People not happy about President Trump support for more Ukraine weapons against a peace initiative targeting Vladimir Putin. Again, President Trump is buying gaining the votes of the defense contractor senators.
These are just a few examples of stuff in the background. The passage of the BBB is a priority for President Trump and every Republican senator knows this. Every single republican senator is willing to blackmail President Trump to get support for their vote.
People not happy about (____fill in blank___) as a Trump compromise, need to understand there is no alternative to the BBB that contains all of the legislative priorities of Trump. If the bill fails, he fails. Whatever is needed for passage will be done.
If doing ‘whatever it takes‘ hurts our worldview, ideological preferences or even, wait for it, feelings, welcome to politics.
President Donald Trump – “Our Nation’s ICE Officers have shown incredible strength, determination, and courage as they facilitate a very important mission, the largest Mass Deportation Operation of Illegal Aliens in History. Every day, the Brave Men and Women of ICE are subjected to violence, harassment, and even threats from Radical Democrat Politicians, but nothing will stop us from executing our mission, and fulfilling our Mandate to the American People. ICE Officers are herewith ordered, by notice of this TRUTH, to do all in their power to achieve the very important goal of delivering the single largest Mass Deportation Program in History.”
“In order to achieve this, we must expand efforts to detain and deport Illegal Aliens in America’s largest Cities, such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where Millions upon Millions of Illegal Aliens reside. These, and other such Cities, are the core of the Democrat Power Center, where they use Illegal Aliens to expand their Voter Base, cheat in Elections, and grow the Welfare State, robbing good paying Jobs and Benefits from Hardworking American Citizens.
These Radical Left Democrats are sick of mind, hate our Country, and actually want to destroy our Inner Cities — And they are doing a good job of it! There is something wrong with them. That is why they believe in Open Borders, Transgender for Everybody, and Men playing in Women’s Sports — And that is why I want ICE, Border Patrol, and our Great and Patriotic Law Enforcement Officers, to FOCUS on our crime ridden and deadly Inner Cities, and those places where Sanctuary Cities play such a big role. You don’t hear about Sanctuary Cities in our Heartland!”
“I want our Brave ICE Officers to know that REAL Americans are cheering you on every day. The American People want our Cities, Schools, and Communities to be SAFE and FREE from Illegal Alien Crime, Conflict, and Chaos. That’s why I have directed my entire Administration to put every resource possible behind this effort, and reverse the tide of Mass Destruction Migration that has turned once Idyllic Towns into scenes of Third World Dystopia. Our Federal Government will continue to be focused on the REMIGRATION of Aliens to the places from where they came, and preventing the admission of ANYONE who undermines the domestic tranquility of the United States.
To ICE, FBI, DEA, ATF, the Patriots at Pentagon and the State Department, you have my unwavering support. Now go, GET THE JOB DONE!” DJT

We need every vote and everyone whining about what they don’t like about this bill needs to STFU.
If this bill fails, President Trump fails, which means MAGA fails, which means you fail.
Shut up with the whining.
Show the whiny Republicans that we support our president. This is what we voted for whether we agree with every detail or not is irrelevant. It’s an all or nothing.
Support BBB and tell senators you support BBB- starting with both jerks in Kentucky. You don’t have to live in that state to tell them that you will financially support any opposition against them if they don’t for BBB.
Rant over.
Problem is do many of “conservatives” don’t want DJT to succeed.
They’re not conservatives, despite what they claim. They’re really ‘closet’ globalists who think they’ve hidden that deception from most voters.
This has nothing to do with our whining. This is exactly what the Senate has become. It’s all extortion.
I was talking about the whiners in the comment section of late regarding this bill.
Though I’ll defer to Sundance, I’m pretty sure all points of view, respectfully offered, are welcomed here.
Or do I misunderstand?
My main whine is the complexity of the document and the difficulty in making out specifics. Perhaps that’s by design.
Did anyone ever explain the specifics of Biden’s Reduction of Inflaton bill, which the whole of Congress seemed to eagerly lap up?
Perfection is the enemy of good.
Except for PDJT #45’s term (2017-2020), we haven’t had ANY good president since Ronald Reagan left the WH in 1988.
President Trump #47 is measurably much better than “good”, but neither he nor anyone will ever be “perfect”.
So MaineCoon is correct. Stop the whiny nitpicking (yes, some ‘nits’ are not small) and support the less-than-perfect BBB.
We cannot fix the corrupt anti-MAGA Senate during #47’s term.
As long as there are K-Street lobbyists, a Chamber of Commerce, the Ukraine honey pot or the military industrial complex the Senate can’t be fixed. Trying to find Godly Senators with zeal willing to put God First, then America, who live off their Senate salary only and have contempt and distain for corruption, easy money or the Bible calls it “dishonest gain” !!! JMO
Exodus 18:21 “But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain —and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.22 Have them serve as judges for the people at all times,”
“trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain”
I cannot name a single senator who meets that criteria, but maybe I missed one.
As for living solely off their Senate salary, I am hard pressed to support that unequivocally, since there must be some ways to earn extra income that do not conflict with their oath of office nor their fiduciary responsibilities.
Below info is taken from this source: https://wisdomanswer.com/are-senators-allowed-to-receive-an-outside-income/
Are Senators allowed to receive an outside income?
The House and Senate rules follow the guidelines of the 1978 Ethics in Government Act when dealing with limits on outside income. Representatives and Senators are limited to earning 15% in excess of their yearly Congressional salary. No income from fiduciary relationships is allowed.
Can you be a senator and have another job?
Yes, subject to restrictions. No federal employees may serve as legislators, and no member of the state legislature may accept a position with the federal government.
Do senators have a fiduciary duty?
All members of the Senate community have a responsibility to uphold the law and avoid even the appearance of impropriety.
Also, from what I have read, both bodies of Congress have their respective Ethics Committees that allegedly investigate all questioned income & sources…. IOW, both are self-policing, that practice of which we have seen firsthand is neither effective nor objective and tends to be used mostly as a political weapon…..
i share your sentiments.
that’s why i don’t think the senate can be “reformed”, it needs to be mercilessly ridiculed into change.
the most expeditious way to explain a universal truth is to take one example of it and explain that.
our host’s essay is the finest, clearest, most resonant, and honest explanation of the U.S.senate that i have ever read –
really first rate and a must share.
we the people can’t match the expenditures made to purchase our august representatives (think big pharma and the like),
nor as a representative republic should that be how things work.
but now, when the senate marketplace is fully visible, and the quid pro quo of it’s members is so obvious, and they can no longer hide behind platitudes of “principle”, they are on defense.
we need to keep them there.
i assume that shame is not a factor with these people.
the threat of a new and improved IRS scrutinizing financials could certainly get action.
there are other avenues, too.
the point being that EXPOSURE is the first step.
onward!😁
I tried hard to name a true MAGA Senator and came up short. Maybe Tuberville? Maybe Bernie Moreno?
I looked at the Liberty Scores for Republican Senators, only to realize they do not at all reflect pro-MAGA voting. (I.e., MAGA does not equal “conservative” in this website) For gosh sakes, Rand Paul is 3rd highest, and he vehemently opposes several critical MAGA policies!
To see this, go to the URL below, select Senate, Republican, and sort on the Liberty Score column by clicking the little down arrow next to the column title
https://libertyscore.conservativereview.com
Rand Paul is a globalist masquerading as a libertarian.
Yes, exactly.
Dont forget the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Its been controlling U.S. policy, foreign AND domestic, since the 20’s.
Righteous anger is not whining; it is what fuels change and even revolution. So do you think the participants in the Boston Tea Party were peaceful and calm? I seriously doubt it…they were fueled by anger and acted on it. I do not disparage peoples feelings….it’s about time people stood up and spoke out.
Apples and oranges. Boston tea party was an opposition to the King of England. I’m referring to the whiners on this comment section of late regarding the BBB bill. People here pretend they support President Trump and yet when they see a little aspect of this, Bill, they don’t like, then the whining starts. He needs our support, not our whining.
Most definetely, the need tonpretend not to know things is NOT limited to the liberals.
I see all sorts of examples, all the time of people here, pretennding not to know things..
Every post where a commenter rhetorically asks “Where are Senate/Congressiobal REPUBLICANS, why are n’t they helping President Trump?”
Pretending not to know the Republicons are full fledged members of the UNIPARTY.
“Just this one legislative priority that has all the stuff Donald Trump promised in the 2024 election.”
I don’t recall candidate Trump promising a huge increase in the national debt.
BTW, my personal opinion is that Trump’s tax cuts on people with high incomes should be allowed to expire, in the interest of reducing the deficit.
However, he promised a Golden Age. If you had paid attention during his first term and the tax cuts, you would recall that receipts went UP after taxes were cut. In addition, we are taking in record tariff monies which will MORE than offset any increase in spending for things like BORDER SECURITY, NATIONAL DEFENSE etc.
As for high incomes and tax cuts, perhaps you have forgotten the SALT issue? They ended up paying more in taxes.
The tariffs are key. No one is supporting the tariffs because I guess they can’t get their mitts on them. They do not want individual Americans to succeed.
This article was badly needed. The whining in this comment section had reached grade school level.
BBB is for all of the marbles. If we don’t get this then we lose our country. Don’t be mad at PDJT.
Be mad at the RINOs and their backers who need to be purchased in order to vote for this.
The purists here for the last few days are willing to throw everything away over their pet peeve issue. Grow up. That is not how DC works and you know it.
I am still of the opinion that the BBB is really what is holding up what we need to see and want to see. He needs the budget, before the mass arrests can take place. He has to play nicey nice with the traitorous criminals till his agenda and budget is in hand. Then all the evidence of the Deep State will be released like Noah’s Flood. Most of Congress will resign or be arrested. Causing new elections to correct what is wrong in the BBB, and start passing his EO’s into law along with the DOGE fraud and he waste.
I agree, Ron. There was a laundry list of immediate actions this the 100s of EO’s ready to go in first 100. phase two was BBB and its positive impact to the Average CITIZEN along with downstream EO effect sets up MAGA candidates for mid-terms. BBB and EO set legal precedence to carry forward mandate and wins in midterms strengthens the MAGA voting in chambers (hopefully) and then he can unleash the justice that needs unleashing.
Still on plan in my mind and why we see the judicial coop crap and Iran/MIC/Ukraine etc crap.
I don’t think you completely understand my point. I personally believe, there HAVE to be elections before the midterms. If the midterms happen, the country is doomed. That means not only has the globalist Uniparty stalled and stopped all of Trump’s program, which WILL raise the discontent and division from the public, which is Trump’s power.
You see how they are fracturing us already. And it is the Uniparty elected officials who are purposely delaying his momentum. The reason there have to be special elections is the replacing the machine voting and fraud, if still in place for ‘ midterms ‘, they will make sure the House and Senate are filled with antiTrump, antiMaga globalists.
The only way to cleanse the Congress of these traitors, is after the BBB is in hand, he can drop and expose every incriminating evidence on all, for public transparency.
IMO, the citizen rage and demand for action has to turn up to boiling. That requires exposing every seditious and criminal act each has done. We then need to demand removal and new elections. I believe there is a contingency for continuity of government, a process that allows the executive to appoint temporary appointees to have the government function until the new elections are completed.
Ron I hope you’re comment becomes reality! My glass is always half full.
God, I hope you are right! fingers crossed!
If Trump doesn’t go to war with Iran, he won’t get BBB. That’s the deal. His entire foreign policy is now out of his control and Lindsay Graham is in the driver’s seat.
If Trump goes to war with Iran, MAGA dies. It will fracture along generational lines, with the the boomers going hard with Trump and the younger generations breaking away and opposing him fanatically.
If there is a split in MAGA over an Iranian war, Trump will likely lose badly enough in the midterms that he will be removed from office.
I’m not seeing a good outcome here.
Not necessarily. A very limited engagement using bunker busters to crush certain sites in Iran might satiate the warmongers, while assuring the dismantling of any short term future uranium enrichment.
“Optimal solutions”.
Yes, necessarily. Millenials and GenZ won’t tolerate it. They backed him on two things, and two things only. Mass deportations, and no more foreign wars.
He’s thrown them under the bus on both. He’s done so for votes on his BBB.
Iran isn’t and wasn’t pursuing nuclear arms. They now will, and unless they are absolutely destroyed (see: Gaza), they will get them.
I, in my flesh, agree with you. I have but one caveat. I have believed that Trump, though not perfect, has been the Lord’s instrument to deliver us through this set of circumstances.
My belief is different than what many believe. I have believed that the Lord has allowed this chaos and injustice, this time of darkness, as a test. The test being do we as a nation as a whole, desire righteousness and justice with truth at its core, or had we become so scared in our conscious to just reject truth and justice and love.
I believe that Trump has been HIS/our champion to expose and defeat much of the evil….for now. I believe this has been an international time of awakening and decision. IMO, this is leading to the last Great Awakening. When I look at the prophetic word and warning of the last days, everything is almost in place. Much of it is in technology, from the system to create the Mark of the Beast oppressive control with no more privacy, to AI, to all the nations lining up with coalitions. I believe Trump will get us through this current situation. But I have felt the reprieve or pause before the curtain is lifted on the last act leading to Armagedden, maybe less than 10-20 years.
I think there will be a world war first before the finale.
The 17th amendment might be the worse.
The most recent senator I looked up on opensecrets was Lindsey Graham. He is typical in that about 87% of his donations are from out of state. Like most, he’s more a senator from New York City, DC and LA than a representative of South Carolina. That and another finance loophole is that by far the biggest donors are “retired.” I’m sure that is legitimately a large donor block but I think it’s getting used to hide interests. Bringing election of senators back to state legislatures would give the people of most states a fighting chance.
State legislatures are filled with mini Lindsay’s.
Yes, but much easier to supplant.
The 16th amendment is far worse and both are bogus and created in 1913 same year the Fn evil US private bank took over printing money from the US treasury. All were intentionally done to steal from the taxpayers.
Thanks for writing this. I did not see this Truth Social post. I guess it was posted yesterday.
You mention farming; well so which Senators own Hotels and which own meat packing plants…I guess that goes with our large agribusiness farms owned by China.
So, now I can be angry with the Senate…sigh.
I “feel” better. Thanks again SD.
It’s not just hotels, but golf courses (No doubt Lindsay Graham’s concern; those greens won’t mow themselves), as well as theme parks, which may rely on illegals for cleaning and maintenance.
It’s the whole “leisure industry.”
“Whole sectors of our economy can not function without immigrant labor”.
*Not an endorsement*
Just the messenger.

Not true. Those are talking points. Welfare recipients, inmates, high school and college students can make up the bulk of this.
Who will make them come to work?
In all sincerity do you work crews of men in jobs that require physical labor?
How many days will you be willing to hire and manage 20 men to do a 5 man crew job because 75% of your crew misses multiple days per week.
The small business world didn’t create this problem but we have to deal with this nightmare daily while arm chair critics want us to hire meth addicted gamers
I thought green cards allowed Illegals to work here. Why can’t they just get a green card?
Here’s the main problem. Many Americans have lost the ability to work hard or show up for work on a consistent basis. Some of this is drug related, some safety net money availability and some the degradation of society. For a transformation to happen there will have to be a give and take. Benefits for people will have to be taken away to create an incentive to actually show up at a job. If you take every person who is here illegally over the past 30 years there will be a mass exodus of businesses that require someone to do any degree of manual labor. The best people you can hire are over 65 particularly for driving trucks. The worst person you can hire for manual labor is a younger white man (sorry to have to say this).
What will be the trade off? businesses shut down because it will take 10 hires to do every job that requires one man? I’m not sure what the answer is but LafnH20 is 100% correct
What is it? Four out of 10 children suffer from autism, AD, ADHD, anxiety and depression? Do we see these same numbers in Mexican children and Asian children?
President Trump will not lose my support.
He is/was the ONLY choice.
I bitch and complain upon occasion about- No war, No illegals, etc.
However, I have NEVER withdrawn my support. He does have to go along to get along because… POLITICS .
However, he can survive hearing his supporters voice their opinions.
This is America — land of free speech. 🇺🇲
We cannot spare this man, he fights for all of us.
You did better than me!👏
After the illegals- then Israel cluster-mess….
I was MAGA… 😖kick rocks 😡
Put me down as just- America First…
Still supported President Trump though👍
Didn’t last even 24 hours 🤣 then sanity prevailed.
Mitch McConnell and other GOP tried to
break up the Tea Party.
Not going to happen again.
Again…. I will say….
Israel-Iran issue piled on top of
US Illegals issue.
Both issues are💥💥💥💥🔥🔥
Almost like it was…..Intentional.😉
⌛️ ⏳ ⌛️ Timing is Everything!⌛️⏳
Should be an acronym 🤣 I
Israel-Iran
Illegals
Intentional
Free speech can also include saying nice things occasionally. That is the part that is missing. The Congress keeps their finger on the pulse of the people. If all they ever hear are complaints, the deep state will have won the battle. Loose lips sink ships.
As one of those who has expressed reservations about what has appeared to be POTUS’ stance towards events in Iran, I wish this post had come at the beginning of yesterday.
Personally, I needed this reminder.
That said….
“If the bill fails, he fails. Whatever is needed for passage will be done.”
-Sundance
The implications here are quite dire. I’ll say no more.
We’ve got it all on the line, not just President Trump, but “we.” If he fails, we fail.
What bothers me most is that amazing as he — an amazing band width and tolerance for stresses — I don’t want to add to his burden with an awareness of our whining.
It helps him to know we support his efforts and what he has to do to remain successful in a minefield of obstacles.I know that because he’s said so.
He’s our guy in the arena and we owe him all the support we can give, not just for him, but for ourselves and the people and country we love.
That is what is so damn frustrating. People mounting their high horses talking down to the peons. There are other options, why do you think the full court press is on for war by neocons. Until this bill is passed they feel like they have free reign. It needs to be passed by July so the President can reign in the likes of Lindsey Graham. I am tired of listening to snooty “sophisticated” commentators talking about how President Trump doesn’t understand politics and is naive.
I will say one thing once this bill passes that Neocons need to pay a huge &*^%#$ price.
The more people who get over their feelings and think logically and rationally about this, the better off this country will be. You are absolutely 💯 correct.
Sorry I disagree…more people need to get angry; the rational can come but first people need to have some emotion…I don’t think MAGAs problem is their feelinsgs..what do you think got Trump elected.
Emotions are how people get killed.
Indeed, Sundance. The day the bill went to the Senate I began to wonder who’s vote was going to have to be purchased, and what that price would be.
Now we know.
No doubt the ugly, immoral acts of legislating are in-play here, but how much of your core promises during the campaign are you gonna allow to be “bought off” by these whores in the senate? If Trump just has his fingers crossed as he placates these people, he’ll get away with that only once. Maybe he’s happy with just one victory, but I’m not.
So the BBB passes, great, then what? Trump made some pretty big promises during the campaign about many important issues that animated all of us and helped him outvote the massive systemic fraud. Trump and the GOP have until early December 2026 to pass laws on all of his top priority items.
Executive orders are meaningless on the big items and change nothing. Not one thing he has done so far lasts more than a week into the next administration and most of his stuff won’t even get that far as the federal courts were ready for him. The GOP was also ready for him. If Trump refuses to confront the corrupt GOP and tear them apart, then his 8 years in-office will have left us a singular legacy of exactly three names: Gorsuch, Kavanagh, and Barrett. Pretty ugly and definitely not winning!, winning!, winning!…..
Apparently you aren’t cognizant of how things would look if the idiot Obam wanted had been elected and the dems could go back to rule by autopen.
What we’ve got looks like winning to me.
If I’m understanding you, Sundance, you’re saying that getting all R’s to “yes”, including the likes of Paul, Johnson, and any other would-be dissenters, would be advancing legislation that ironically provides Trump with the very tools that renders vulnerable all the excess pork included to recruit their votes
If that’s correct, it explains how Trump gets Paul to nix absolute “no” on the debt ceiling aka project “early and under budget”
God bless and protect President Trump.
Yes I completely agree with what you are saying, Sundance. It has finally come to me, though I went through a lot of conflicting feelings about these issues, but I agree this is exactly what Trump needs to deliver on his promises.
I think it’s the whole issue that political support requires support from people with whom you may disagree on a lot of issues. There is no perfect MAGA supporter, there is no perfect conservative in Congress who will meet everyone’s test of what it means to be conservative. Everyone has to compromise to survive in politics, even if they pretend they are uncompromising.
It’s a matter of where you draw the line. I have come to see President Trump as having a vision that guides him in his effort to establish a new political and economic order, one in which the people of this country get their sovereignty back and the elites and people in the intel community lose enough of their power to end their dreams of controlling every single living thing on planet earth. That dream of extracting all the wealth from every country, extracting all the resources of every country, controlling the food everyone eats and forcing destructive vaccines into the foods and into people, that has to end or we will never be free again.
But along the way the President is going to have to make relationships with and compromise with some individuals that some of us would wish he wouldn’t.
He’s likely got people in his administration who we disagree with, but who he’s chosen because they can get certain jobs done.
It’s about his vision, and how he is establishing a new United States of America, with a Judeo-Christian system of morals and values, with profound respect for our military and for those who have sacrificed for our freedoms, with a new way of relating to the other countries of the world, along with an attempt to establish peace through strength instead of the CIA-destabilization-color revolution permanent war way.
It is because he is establishing a new paradigm for our country that those in power are enraged and desperate. That is why we have the destabilizing riots, that is why there is a judicial coup d’etat, that is why assassination of him was tried twice, and that is why the propaganda making him out to be the KKK, is being put out there, (character assassination) in the attempt to take away his supporters and potential supporters.
There certainly have been individuals that all of us wondered about, such as the tech brothers, but there, too, Trump was the pragmatist in his efforts to establish a new US for all of us.
Here’s an article I found helpful in understanding the brilliance of Trump’s efforts: https://theoptimisticconservative.wordpress.com/2025/06/11/establishment-for-a-better-future-the-historic-need-of-our-time/
It’s written by a retired naval officer, Jennifer Dyer.
Thanks Sundance for underlining the great goal that Trump is trying to achieve.
This is an excellent article. Now things begin to add up that Trump is doing.
Two more Senators who I bet can’t be bargained with nor bought are long entrenched Beaver state Senator Ron Wyden, I fully expect he’ll die in office, and Jeff Merkley, both Democrats.
Here’s an example from Wyden who, by the way is a ranking member on the Senate Finance Committee:
In 2025, Wyden reiterated his stance by opposing the Senate Republican budget resolution, which included reconciliation instructions targeting spending cuts, particularly within the Senate Finance Committee’s jurisdiction. Wyden expressed concerns over the resolution’s implications for social programs and its prioritization of tax cuts over public investment.

The vast, vast majority of geographic Oregon, including where I live, is deeply conservative and the state pushes out a surprising amount of agriculture from its minimal population.
To wit, I’m drinking an Umpqua Valley Tempranillo (wine) and eating some of Rogue Creamery’s renowned blue cheese. Both places these products come from are solid PDJT country, though Methford (that’s what I call it) has been trending to the dark side in recent years. Does that matter? Nope, Portland and Salem run the show.
We can definitely contact both Wyden and Merkley; however, I believe our biggest victory will come from wresting control of the state RNC from the Uniparty cabal.
Hope you’ve tried the Dancin’ Vineyard Pinot. Oregon wines have been high on my list for decades.
My favorite microbrewery (Troegs Independent Brewing Hershey, PA) purchases a sizeable percentage of their hops from growers in the Willamette Valley.
He better not have to cross the line of putting US troops on the ground against Iran.
I wish you were wrong and Trump could continue to go full blast and get the bill passed, but the votes must be whipped.
I said a while back that I don’t like the BBB, but I understand why Trump wants it. What I do not want is to be horse traded into Israel’s war with Iran. Not that what I want matters…
Well, Obama didn’t help sending pallets of denominations/money & gold to Iran in the middle of the night,
Valerie Jarrett was running Obama, Middle Easterner extrordinaire.
If Pakistan wants to nuke Israel (joining Turkey and Russia) who will not stop there, but then nuke India and on down the line, who will do our fighting when China gets a foothold on California and invades us from the west if we don’t use our soldiers? That is why people (men) join to do man things. This is how I look at it. Just because one man stands up and says, “No more war.” The rest of the world’s leaders say, ” Hold my beer!”
The Duties of the US Army (Militia) as noted in US Constitution, Article 1, Section 8:
Enforce Laws, Suppress Insurrection, and REPELL INVAISION..
Okay, so if we have to help Israel out with Iran, I’ll shut up about it now. Give me overwhelming reasons and I CAN be moved.
Thank You Sundance!
In addition to the reconciliation style, big beautiful bill that Congress passed over to the Senate,
there are
subsequent separate legislative ( law ) bills, called recission ( service / spending cuts )…
The first has passed Congress and is being sent to the Senate, $9.5 billion, in cuts.
https://www.govexec.com/management/2025/06/house-gop-clears-measure-claw-back-billions-foreign-assistance-and-public-media-programs/406038/
More recission ( reduce legislative law to reduce spending ) bills are getting into the docket per findings by DOGE etc.
Easier said, than done…
such that
there can be deficit reductions…
and a healthier nation for the future…
The Boss has spoken.
When was the statement by the President written?
Fine. Okay. Then stop endorsing these “republicans” in the future. If someone isn’t MAGA then say nothing.
He’s already endorsed Lindsey Graham…why?????
Because Graham won’t vote for impeachment.
They have to be electable (I guess that means blackmailable) to get an endorsement.
Thanks, SD, have been having the same thoughts regarding the horse trading. Necessary evil.
We have to get it passed then we can hopefully fix the awful waste, fraud and abuse. I’m all in.
Thank you, Sundance, for clarifying these issues that had me frustrated and concerned. Got it.
Off topic, can anyone point me to TCT Flynn article with evidence of Flynn foreign agent and turkey lobbying registration?
Try plugging ‘flynn fara’ into the search engine and review the results…
Here’s a sample:
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2019/07/09/doj-reverses-course-in-fara-case-calls-flynn-co-conspirator-doesnt-want-flynn-testimony-judge-sullivan-intervenes/
Unfortunately, just like my days of diving into the card catalog and wandering the stacks, if one wants to do research, it’s one’s own prerogative and responsibility.
How the Senate and the House truly operate!!! It would be funny if it wasn’t so true!!!!
Its called the Swamp
I don’t disagree with your assessment but in the case of the Big Ag Senators perhaps a more private form of vote buying might have been appropriate.
The President could have called them up and let them know of the change in policy in a less public way. He could have told them of how he has sent new directives to ICE. Doing this publicly makes it seem like the President will cave to violence, rioting, chaos and only embolden the left to do it again and again.
Further, for millions of MAGA voters the most important issue and the reason above all others that they have supported Trump over the years is …… the deportation of ALL illegal aliens…..
The UniParty system is corrupt. Both sides of the aisle are chock full of criminals, deviants and thugs. None of them represent “We The People.” Brick by brick, each and every one of them is deliberately tearing down our constitutional republic.
President Trump voluntarily dove head first into the UniParty Swamp ten years ago for the purpose of restoring our constitutional republic to its former greatness. The UniParty declared war against him and that war has raged unabated ever since.
President Trump is a great man but he isn’t perfect. No mortal man created by God is perfect. Our President is risking his “life, his fortune and his sacred honor” each and every day on behalf of we the people and the republic. He is waging this war within a thoroughly corrupt swamp.
President Trump has prioritized his goals for Term 2 and the BBB is essential to accomplishing his goals. It is easy for weak minded back biters to kvetch and whine about the deals President Trump has to make in order to accomplish his goals. It’s also shameful.
To anyone who feels “betrayed” by President Trump-grow up. He’s doing his best, and his best is a damn sight better than any other human being in America is doing. He’s not a savior-Jesus Christ is our Savior. President Trump is a warrior who is risking his life on our behalf.
Show some appreciation! God Bless President Trump!

“If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself.”

Violent Trump-hating anonymous X account is revealed to be high-ranking Naval JAG officer

I just watched the highlights of Tucker on Bannon. I need the argument made better for me about the BBB being worth everything. I need a real plan for addressing the masters at the C I A. And I need tremendous pressure put on these war mongering, agricultural, and defense contract senators to undercut their influence.
need
You may need to extend counting season to a year to get the democracy you want.

Sundance, thank you for your voice of reason and for this lesson and reminder on how it all works with the (insert adjectives) politicians in Washington.
I still can’t hate them enough. I’ve tried.
In my opinion, moving beyone the hate clarifies the mission. It’s far bigger than Senators and a big beautiful bill. It’s humans. That’s the mission. Returning the Republic to a moral and spiritual imperative. All the other stuff will fall into line.
Hmmm . . . I’ll try again . . .

I hate both of you.

Kidding. Don’t hate the players, hate the game.
Busted again: MN voter fraud scheme and the Trump ‘pit bull’ who’s digging up all the dirt
https://revolver.news/2025/06/busted-again-mn-voter-fraud-scheme-and-the-trump-pit-bull-whos-digging-up-all-the-dirt/
I’m so sick of hearing about the BBB. As long as they keep the tax cut, I’m good. Just get the damn thing passed so Trump can get things done.
I feel like Trump has no idea about the illegal immigrant situation in states like North Carolina. We have no really large cities like NY or LA. We have Charlotte. Our problem is everywhere and in particular like small towns and rural areas like that town in Ohio. I live in Western NC and the illegals have taken over the roofing business, the landscaping business, starting to move into construction, and small plants and factories. We are inundated with illegals…we could use some help.
They are taking away blue collar jobs…
Have the illegals moved into the areas destroyed by Helene?
If you’re just realizing this now, then you should move to Georgia.
That #@it has been going on for decades!
Small farmers are constantly fighting for the right to produce and sell good product!
Constant threats of Big Ag coming into rural counties and taking over; constant local fighting and so far the small farmers are winning!
This is an Appropriation Bill. This is NOT A BUDGET!
President Trump has been in Office since January 2025!
Give the Man a Break! He cannot fix all the problems overnight.
If we don’t get the BBB passed, you will be bitching and moaning about the 68% increase in your taxes, right along with a bunch of other folks here in this Treehouse!
At that time, the only person you should be complaining about and to is yourself, as you look in the mirror and say exactly what you are writing now.
Just my opinion, for what it is worth.
Politics is very nasty, nasty business.
I want that BBB passed because I DO NOT WANT A 68% INCREASE IN MY TAXES and I understand what a Reconciliation Bill is rather than a Budget.
You can thank Obama, Nan and Harry for the last REAL Federal Budget!
Blue Collar Jobs were gone at that time, also…you just didn’t notice it.
He has every idea about everything. Get weapons and pass the ammunition. Stock up on food and water and take care of your family. It is going to be a bumpy ride.
It’s the owners of the roofing companies gardening construction and factories who hire the ei illegals and even recruit them in Mexico and Central America. Blame the businesses that recruit and hire illegal foreigners..
Thank you, Sundance.
My mom and dad were huge fans of Rush. My dad would listen to his show, then give mom a condensed version. My dad died around Christmas 2017. She asked me one day, “What do I do now?” No one to listen to Rush then assure her that everything would be okay. I told her she might have to start listening to him herself. So, she did. I remember many times running errands and his show would be on. She would shush me, “Rush is talking.”
She said he always knew what to say or how to say it…. My mom said he eased her worried mind. She really misses him. What I enjoyed most on his show were the callers. They would say a little about themselves and how/when they first began listening. I miss him, too.
Sundance….I always feel better after reading your posts. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. Particularly today.
Thank you for this site, thank you for just being here.
The ability of the treehouse, it’s denizens and it’s leaders to pivot on a dime between principle and compromise is gloriously breathtaking. A glorious mania. Game on. Let’s go. ❤️
It that a good thing, or /s in your perspective?
I’m not one of those who never learned to pivot from principle to compromise.
There is no smaller BBB, there is no modified BBB, there is only one big comprehensive package of initiatives and priorities for President Trump’s agenda. One Big Beautiful Bill.
I don’t love it, but I support it 100%. We need those tax cuts extended ASAP. We can worry about the bad things in the bill next year.
https://townhall.com/columnists/ej-antoni/2025/06/16/trump-just-keeps-winning-on-inflation-n2658842
So far, Trump is winning on inflation. We need to keep this thing moving in the right direction, no pun intended.
Thank you for the much-needed reality check.
The Art of the Deal on steroids! It’s a masterpiece and no-one but Trump could paint it, frame it and sell it. Woe to the traitors and scumbags who try and destroy it.
With the evidence of multi-multi-multi hundreds of billions going out into democrat unions, money laundering of weapons deals, Hunter Biden type schemes and democrat relatives’ adjutant companies, I think the dems have crossed the Rubicon on the money thing.
Right on cue, I got a fund raising letter from Rand Paul in the mail yesterday. I am sick of these little hysteria fraught stunts that just keep conservatives splintered. Tucker now, Rand Paul last week, Elon before that. This is what makes me sick.
Any Senator that does not support/vote for this bill, is DONE! End of career. PERIOD. IMHO this is all just a long drawn out Dog & Pony Show!
They WILL PASS this BBB!
