Israel has active conflicts in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, disp. territory Palestine/West Bank, and now Iran. It’s hard to see Israel’s justification for all of the conflicts to be happening and especially as extended ventures and not ones that are solved through negotiations and agreements like many countries (ex. just recently India and Pakistan not blowing each other up, Thailand and Cambodia cooling border dispute tensions, Trump making progress with Putin on ending Ukraine war). You can say that any particular conflict is justified and difficult to reconcile through alternative means like trade partnership, foreign investment, negotiation, diplomacy- generally methods of bringing stability to a region- but having all five conflicts at once makes Israel look like it’s lacking in the right approach . More of a stretch than Israel’s justification is the US being sponsor of these wars through foreign aid or the US attacking the Houthis or rerouting Patriot missiles from one hawkish state (Ukraine) to another (Israel). And now Russia and China are getting involved publicly as well which to me is scary. Recent poll says 90% of Americans don’t want to be involved (see yesterday on this same blog). Israel justifying all of its contemporaneous wars is a stretch, but America’s complicit actions need to stop at least where they are. Americans have enough skin in the game for Israel as is (4 billion a year) and we don’t need to risk global conflict or have Trump’s capacity to make institutional change be threatened by getting involved more directly. I have so much respect and love for the the people of Israel but Israel as a state should still be able to be criticized when it is doing something wrong. Holding our governments accountable is the foundation of our democracy.

Plus, June 14, 1975 was a Saturday. July 4, 1976 was a Sunday, but that parade was on Saturday the 3rd.
Looking back, I am so glad I got to participate. I was thrilled when the President announced the big parade in DC. We used to have big military parades in this country.

About that last paragraph, what that results in BY NECESSITY is an EXPONENTIAL increase in debt.
The downward blip starting at 2007 and resulting in a curve slope reduction was the Global Financial Crisis where debt was eliminated (“extinguished”) via bankruptcies.
Eventually, the slope of the curve which indicates the need for additional debt will be so high that new debt can’t be created fast enough.
It is THAT which makes eventual collapse inevitable.

Israeli fighter pilots are the best in the World. They have roughly a 4-year experience jump over American fighter pilots. They start training when they are 18-years old.
Our military require a college degree prior to pilot training. This proficiency gap can be overcome, but not overnight.
Your post reminded me of the story of a trainee, lacking a degree, who showed up for Army flight training, they tested him and one check instructor commented that he could handle the stick and rudder better than any of the flight instructors on the field.
He later went on to work on the sound barrier program and fly chase for Chuck Yeager.
Even now, pilots and passengers in aircraft of all sorts benefit from an idea he forwarded for the invention of a part for aircraft. Those who fly probably know what it is.
His name was Bob Hoover, Army Air Corps veteran. He lived to the ripe old age of 94.
Gen. Yeager was not a college graduate. This is what prevented him from being selected for the candidate pool for the Mercury Project.

Israel has active conflicts in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, disp. territory Palestine/West Bank, and now Iran. It’s hard to see Israel’s justification for all of the conflicts to be happening and especially as extended ventures and not ones that are solved through negotiations and agreements like many countries (ex. just recently India and Pakistan not blowing each other up, Thailand and Cambodia cooling border dispute tensions, Trump making progress with Putin on ending Ukraine war). You can say that any particular conflict is justified and difficult to reconcile through alternative means like trade partnership, foreign investment, negotiation, diplomacy- generally methods of bringing stability to a region- but having all five conflicts at once makes Israel look like it’s lacking in the right approach . More of a stretch than Israel’s justification is the US being sponsor of these wars through foreign aid or the US attacking the Houthis or rerouting Patriot missiles from one hawkish state (Ukraine) to another (Israel). And now Russia and China are getting involved publicly as well which to me is scary. Recent poll says 90% of Americans don’t want to be involved (see yesterday on this same blog). Israel justifying all of its contemporaneous wars is a stretch, but America’s complicit actions need to stop at least where they are. Americans have enough skin in the game for Israel as is (4 billion a year) and we don’t need to risk global conflict or have Trump’s capacity to make institutional change be threatened by getting involved more directly. I have so much respect and love for the Jewish heritage and the people of Israel but Israel as a state should still be able to be criticized when it is doing something wrong. Holding our governments accountable is the foundation of our democracy.

Something I’m noticing watching the NoKings coverage, which they also cover, is a lot of U.S. flags showing up. Very different from past protests. They’re claiming the 1776 ground with PDJT as The Crown. Clever strategy. Transparent, but clever.
