That was perfect from start to finish!
And such a lovely reminder of America on a day when the communists thought their no-kings cosplay was going to move the needle in their favor. Losers.
The communists got totally upstaged today by the greatness of America! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸🇺🇸
In my humble locale behind enemy lines, a nothingburger. A few beach buggies, zero traffic otherwise and now I’m tortured by the barbecue next door. Heh.
I did notice the Communists trying to hijack the American flag and 1776 theme. Nice try.
Gave a good reason to check magazines and make sure ammo is good to go.
Roger that. Everything from clips, yes, real clips of 8mm for the K98 to drums for the Suomi.
Also, don’t forget the rest of the kit. I train to don ballistic helmet and body armor carrier in the dark in under a minute. That might seem slow but I’m old and my eyes are crap.
Quiet bothers me. It’s uneasy time.
Keep it up. I took my son through the paces last night. He’ll be an Army Officer in about a year.
Whatsa “clip”??? … Oh, sorry. Yeah, I got plenty too. Handy little suckers. Help me mark my favorite stories in my coffetable magazines … 🙂
Great parade too! Loved it. I was a Jarhead, but Dad, and Bro were career Soldiers. I’m sure they watched it with pride (In warrior Heaven). As I did on Earth. Imagine being sworn in by one of the greatest Commanders In Chief of all time! While the foriegn invaders howled and choked on their own bile.
May our God in Heaven bless us all … May God bless and keep President Donald J. Trump! Amen
You and hubby! He woke me up one night to tell me the electricity went off!
Quiet? Something’s wrong!
“I’m tortured by the barbecue next door. Heh.”
I hear you. 😋
My next door neighbor upwind of me must use his outdoor grill 5-10x a week. Two years ago he bought an outdoor wood fired pizza oven.
He does lots of cooking, about 8-10 years ago he had a kitchen exhaust fan installed in the wall that uses an 8″ duct. That is big for a home.
Naturally the kitchen is on the side of their house facing here.
It’s just bad, isn’t it?
Normally, it’s dark side of the moon here but beach buggy weekend with Father’s Day is reality and next door are some real beach bombers who know how to party. They’re eating now because, crap, the smell is gone. Smelled like pork ribs and tri-tip to me. Bastards 😀
It is really torture when your trying to do some fasting/ extended fasting!
Most likely I am not going to watch local news to find out about commie fest around Buffalo, NY.
Maybe I will check out a website or catch a snippet tomorrow.
Ha, I had prosciutto and salami from Italy and this delectable blue goat cheese wrapped in grape leaves from a local vendor in the Rogue River region of Oregon but that couldn’t compete with the smells I’d known so well from decades of barbecuing for customers or at the beach with friends.
I know the neighbors and they’ve blessed me with some boss salmon and ahi in the past so no worries, just some friendly ribbing and now waiting on some sounds of freedom, either gun fire or unmuffled engines. My guns are really noisy so I don’t like to burden the neighbors. Full caliber world war two weapons can sound like cannons.
Too quiet again. So quiet I hear the tinnitus. Mortality.
It’s my feeling that anyone within the reach of wafting aroma should be invited to partake.
When I lived in downtown Charleston when there was a party, since the houses are so close, I was invited to drop by.
anyone within the reach of wafting aroma should be invited
that’s a good credo
Tell Schumer the cheese goes on AFTER you flip.
It was esay to predict as much. It was a completely astroturfed corporate movement from communist groups against an issue that has a clear majority support from the country.
Here in FL, they outright canceled many of them due to low attendance….plus we’d shoot or run them over if they tried anything violent.
Every American with patriotic spirit got goosebumps watching!
It was just what the country needed.
President Trump really knows how to throw a bash! That was amazing! The fireworks went on for nearly half an hour! I didn’t expect much when I tuned in, but I was very pleasantly surprised and loved the entire thing. Great promotion for the Army, for sure.
But now the usual DC Fourth of July display will be anti-climatic. We spent our major wad on today’s event.
their no-kings cosplay
I LOL’d, as the kids say
I just finished watching the recording and it was very inspiring! Wonderful display of our army, present and past.
I.saw a short video on The Donald showing at the protests there were boxes of American flags and printed signs saying “I have friends everywhere”. Can you believe it? Trying to make the public think they’re popular to sway. The person recording was saying, “This is well funded.”
Beautiful presentation and show of Patriotism. Happy birthday U. S. Army.
🍻
Here’s to the US
Army defending the greatest Nation in the world for another 250 years.
My grandfather and father served, and I served. I wish that my future sons and grandsons will take that oath voluntarily and be all that they can be, and hold the line to any and all enemies that would besiege and undermine our Republic under God.
My grandson received a letter of intent from West Point, summer before his Junior year. They actually pay you to attend their academy. Unfortunately he’s not interested. I can’t blame him, with the woke regime still there.
I watched the whole parade. It was magnificent! When one has a knowledge of history they see things differently.
For some reason the WW II marchers, though from the 82nd, reminded me of the 28th Div. marching through a just liberated Paris on their way to the front in order to bolster De gualle’s Free French control of the city over the communist resistance elements which had designs of taking control of the city.
De gualle requested it!
jusr, wow!👏🏻♥️
I heard a story about deGaulle while traveling in France. It was said that de Gaulle at some point ordered all Americans be removed from France, to which someone (don’t recall who) said “Would that include the ones buried in our cemeteries?” Talk about touche! How does one come back from that?
SoS Dean Rusk.
A few years ago, the US had a dust up with France ( don’t remember about what) and France threatened to send all our buried military back to the states. That’s when the “American Fries” caught on. I still hate France….
I believe that was when the French refused to permit our bombers overflight permission on their way to the ME. They were forced to go around, do an extra aerial refueling and added time to the trip.
And I recall it being Freedom Fries! 🙂
And now the French President’s wife slaps him in full view. He is too weak to rebuff the millions of Muslims in his country. That’s why he and other European leaders condemned Israel for bombing Iran nuclear reactor.
Potus Gave us a gift for the Army’s Bday and his. It was a fabulous experience. Done w/such class. MONICA Crowley did a fabulous job.
Very proud🇺🇲🙏
Though I didn’t speak directly with that many people, just neighbors and the FedEx driver, none, zero, even knew about the 250th of the Army and the festivities today and the FedEx driver was an Iraqi war Army veteran.
First thing he asked me when I mentioned the parade was my MOS. I had to disappoint him as I definitely did not serve in Vietnam as my number was never called and I was college-bound and not interested in military service.
The media certainly did its job in not promoting it. Most news stations weren’t even broadcasting it, especially on TV.
Even the Chinese station on my air antenna carried the entire parade
Same with my brother! I was so little but I remember the stress my mom was under when they pulled birthdays!
John Fetterman did a great job narrating too
How refreshingly accurate, coming from a man I’d call a throwback to the Kennedy Democrats..
What an enigma this man is.
Everything’s surreal, day after day it’s cra-cra 24/7
He’s a man with no party.
I give credit where it’s due, that was good of him to say this, I appreciate his support in something so important to us.
Breaking ranks with the Democrats today is getting dangerous, and he did it, good for him.
It only matters how he votes, and so far, he is 100% dem (i.e. commie). We can hope, but I am doubtful.
Bless his heart – and I mean that.
If Fetterman watched it, I bet he’s a Republican now…
The guy could run, and likely win, for reelection as an ‘R’
That stroke really did a number on him….in a good way.
I had no idea!
This might sound silly, but besides riding in AMTRACKS, MIKE BOATS, FLYING 46’S & 51’S,
Ships etc… I was looking forward to see the GAMMA GOATS. Did some wild riding in those
vehicles back on the day 🙂
GREAT PARADE!
Semper Vivium
I was wondering if they were going to have a hovercraft like they used in Vietnam.
IDK if the Army or Marines had them, or both.
My late uncle was there for a year around 1970. He said the Viet Cong were terrified of them.
That would have been cool & Noisy, a HoverCraft hovering over the Parade 🙂
Windy….
This skim across the ground or water on a cushion of air, but they cannot get more that about a foot above the surface. They have flexible skirts to help contain the downward airflow.
They are incredibly loud, however. If there were any operational ones in a museum, most likely that is why they did not make an appearance.
Although they could have towed one on a trailer….
Those Hovercrafts are awesome.
Built with a little one a 4 foot diameter round hover
board once for a science project. Even the teacher
was riding it. Back then I had no cordless blower.
Quite easy peacy…
The M561 Gamma Goat has been gone a long time- since around 1990 or so.
It was my assigned vehicle for a while when in Germany from 76-78.
Had one of the intermediate wheels almost fall off while driving on the autobahn near Frankfurt one day…
My pride in our military is only tempered by my wish we didn’t need it. And if our military had been used properly at the end of WWII, and had been used to eradicate communism at it’s roots, we wouldn’t need it.
Sadly, $$ took precedence over the global freedom, and the evil of communism was allowed to survive in order to justify the military industrial complex and it’s burden on taxpayers.
God bless our troops, but may the executives of the MIC rot in hell forever.
We’ll never “not need” it. Man is greedy and self-serving. Power and money too important to many.
Yep, I wish we could all get along in peace but if wishes were horses we’d all be cowboys. Reality is what it is. History cannot be denied. Perhaps someday in the very distant future if we don’t destroy ourselves first.

That was just off-the-charts fantastic. I was choked up throughout.
M’while, a friend of 50+ years in CA was going to Atherton (LOLOL) today to “protest this oligarch’s crimes against humanity and violations of our basic civil rights.” In an ugly and disrespectful manner, she included me on the text.
She’s a Hispanic family lawyer and a total 1 percent’er. She’s hired illegals for years.
She was a dear friend, but needless to say, our friendship is ending.
Dumbbells like her must not realize
WHY
they are
FREE
to “protest” (peacefully).
-oxymoron$ 🙄
Ha, my realtor who sold my house out from under a trustee sale lived in Atherton. Quite a gal. I daresay pretty MAGA. She was totally on board with my war against the man. I’d never seen someone who’d drive for hours just to replace a faulty lockbox. Props. I checked out her house there, about 4 million on Zillow. No slouch.
We must uphold the elite’s right to slave labor !
If it’s already at the breaking point, ask her if she would like Mexico to rule Alta California, and if Shienbaum should be President, what Shienbaum stands for, and what your friend’s preferred government would look like. At least get in your parting advice?
You’d never get legit answers from these brainwashed libs. They’ll just spout the latest media talking point, and when pressed for more or questioned, they revert to insults and walk away.
Yuri Bezmenov already explained all this for us, unfortunately.

“The Pentagon has just confirmed to me that the Army soldier in this now viral video was discharged from the Texas national guard 5 years ago on June 5, 2020… “Protesting or demonstrating in uniform is strictly forbidden under Army uniform code”
If Trump administration is listening, arrest this woman and throw the book at her. Slamming the C-in-C, while in a military uniform while deceiving as to current status, should be actionable.
Let’s play the Democrat book on this: arrest now; find statute later.
Kind of like SCOTUS Justice Potter Stewart on obscenity: “I know it when I see it.”
Fascinating how fast the counter-narratives are being taken down, so they can’t get any traction on SM. The DS was aiming for ‘full spectrum dominance’, until the Trumpster arrived, and now they’re being challenged on every front and often found wanting.
All them young Soldiers stood mighty tall today. Really proud of all of them! America has a lot of muscle and the world saw it today! America is back!
“Once we have a war there is only one thing to do. It must be won. For defeat brings worse things than any that can ever happen in war.” – Ernest Hemmingway
Of everyone in the parade, the soldiers in the tank turrets seemed to be having the best time!

I suspect he had “help” from something like the Arkancide team (See eye Ay), and they had a backup plan if he got caught, full of false flags.
Why would that guy be targeting progressives when he was clearly on the democrat/liberal/progressive side?
Why
He was upset marxists lied to him.
He was upset black lives marxists lied to him.
He was upset trained blm marxists lied to him.
Too long to list.

This appears to actually be a backfire, IMO
Not a single peep outta anyone til a call came in for the second target
No doubt MH was a target the police would be very aware of, which is obviously WHY they rushed over to her home
I don’t think the shooter expected to be on the run…”No K8ngs” flyers and an enemy list smacks of cover-up, JUST LIKE THE FLOYD WHITEWASH
Projecting this disaster as domestic terrorism outta “Camp Opposition” right from the jump in yesterday’s press conference was brazen bravado looking to shape all their “findings”, the cherry on top was gum-smacking Avenatti-grade arrogance outta Mr Police Chief who wrapped it all in a “believe me or else” performance which is what you do when you already know you’re SCREWED so all-in-or-bust

With all the Army vehicles making a show, it was good that the Cavalry from
Ft. Sill, OK with their
high-steppin’ horses and the white mules pulling the covered wagon were honored as well.
The horses and mules were indispensable in the earlier war effort.
The vehicle operators though, looked like they were having fun waving at the cheering crowd.
Also liked how they saluted President Trump as they drove by.
The parade was outstanding and couldn’t have been better. I’m so proud we have a POTUS who stands to salute all the troops as they go by. We are truly Blessed to have President Trump. That it was his birthday along with the 250 Birthday of the Army and Flag Day was the icing on the cake. (lol, no pun intended!) LOVED all the vintage vehicles and planes also!!! It’s a great day to be an American!
The noise from the Communist gnats was inconsequential. Loved the videos of some of them getting what they deserved with pepper spray so that was a plus for the day also.
parade
There was a “pre-event” for the anniversary.
Golden Knights dropped in.
U.S. Army’s Twilight Tattoo Event. History through the eyes of American Soldier.
And, just like that, our president said ‘thank you’.
We’re not done yet, folks!
In my early years, I enjoyed going to and being in parades. Those days have passed, but watched today and was impressed.
In my opinion someone paid far too much attention to John Phillip Souza when the music for America was written. As an old trumpet player who suffered through Souza in Band, I think most of the music of foreign countries is far superior. However, having said that, the person who selected the music for the celebration today deserves a medal. They hit it out of the park!
The Stryker Fighting Vehicles, self-propelled mobile howitzers, Bradley Fighting Vehicles, and Abrams Tanks were impressive up close on the streets. The young boys in the crowds loved them.
The Re-enlistment ceremony was a nice touch, and it was great inspiration and provoking to those who might be contemplating such a career.
Trumps speech was short which was a nice touch keeping the focus on the Army.
The fireworks were interesting, not overdone, and quite enjoyable.
As a multi-generational Navy guy, I’m envious, but I would take this away from the Army for all the tea in the CCP.
Flawlessly executed, and a masterful performance!
Can’t say enough about the montage of patriotic music and imagery. Among the most original and uplifting ever presented.
Some lefties are gloating that the event was poorly attended. What’s the reality of attendance?
I heard over 200 thousand
Attendance is secondary, the message it sent was probably heard by several billion, certainly those to whom the message was directed towards got it. America is no longer lead by self-haters, adjust your affairs accordingly.
They’re manufacturing resistance all over the place because organic resistance has evaporated

As always, Melania was so elegant and beautiful.
As an Army veteran, I noticed that, as usual, Pres. Trump was correct, in that he knew that Americans needed to see this pride in our Army, our military, our veterans, and the patriotism of American citizens. A grand parade, ending with Pres. Trump administering the oath of enlistment to new soldiers, Lee Greenwood singing I’m Proud to be an American, excerpts from 1812 Overture with cannon, fireworks, the singing of America the Beautiful. It’s so clear that Pres. Trump loves this country and her people. The nation needed, and just received, a red, white, and blue transfusion of renewed patriotism. God Bless America and President Trump!
Watching the parade, I realized the army has been “out of sight, out of mind,” for a very long time. I believe it was important for the congress critters to actually see and hear how great the army is, and know that they have a responsibility to keep it that way.
And of course, it was a great opportunity for everyone in the US to learn something of our ignored history and traditions.
They Army spends over 1 billion a year for marketing and recruitment. Yesterday’s show did more for recruitment then thing else they have going, and at a fraction of the cost. All of a sudden it is cool to be ARMY.
I suspect when you add the DC crowd numbers to those watching on TV, the figures will be quite impressive.
BTW, made up numbers on road repair will not help your troll.
I thought it was great. Seeing so much hardware and so many troops on display makes you proud of your nation. A lot of the kids seemed pretty excited by some of those vehicles, too. If I was a younger man, I’d have to think about enlisting as long as Trump is the Commander-in-Chief. Some of those remote-controlled cameras they used were new to me. I suspect those were safer than having a dude running around the tanks with a camera on his shoulder. They got some good shots!
Meanwhile, I checked the loser brigade’s “no kings” rally in Atlanta yesterday. It seems that they met for 2 hours, before lunch. Took some photos with pre-printed signs, then called it a day. That was it. Sad!
What the hell are you talking about. You must not have watched the same parade I did. Maybe you ought to think of recruitment with this event and an honor to honor those who serve so you can make such ridiculous statements.
Where was the No Kings parade broadcasted from? I actually turned over to CNN to see if they were covering the Army parade and they were.
You’re certainly entitled to your opinion on this most wonderful site. My opinion is that your skirt flew up a bit.
I must confess that I was against this from the beginning as a big waste of taxpayer money, but after watching I think they did a superb job of presenting the US Army’s history and contributions and sacrifices to our country. It was much more entertaining and uplifting than I had imagined it would be and was actually money well spent on a great production.
My father, who was a WW2 Army veteran, would have been proud of this parade to honor his and his fellow vets’ service.
Most excellent event!
Go to hell
And take all your commie friends with you
Be tankful for the effort that people made to be at the parade.
There is no local crowds in DC to draw from for events like this. People have to come from afar and incur expense to attend.
We, the US taxpayers, are already funding the anti-American activity surrounding us.
I rather fund a patriotic event, like this parade, for once.
Anyone else find the irony of the left test Trump haters elevating him to King status?
After watching some of the NoKings protests yesterday, I posited that ‘king’ was part of the theme, with all the U.S. flags passed out and 1776 theme, which of course was the Founders going to war against the King, in that case king of England.
I’ve no problem with him being king. The left has too many queens.
Your trolling is hilarious. You’re a road contractor? I suspect that before it is over, billions will have watched the parade. “No Kings” is a lie. You dims only object to not having YOUR ‘king’. (RE: the fake “Joe Biden” administration.) POTUS is doing just fine, thank you. Enjoy your misery.
I’m all for military parades, airshows and 4th of July celebrations, especially those that have fireworks.
I looked a longtime for this article and the associated study it discusses.
Each exposure to the above events increases the likelihood of a person voting Republican.
Hopefully, with a strong conservative bent.

Bring on the parades and keep ’em coming!
THAT was phenomenal! We couldn’t be more proud of our beloved US Army.
I’m hoping to find a video of just the parade itself without talking heads…irritating!
God, continue to bless America!
It was the best military parade I have ever seen. I was overseas for the last one under President
H.W. Bush.

Just finished watching. Had the whole gang here for Fathers Day so watched recorded versions with Army veteran son in law. Wonderful! I think we all needed this!
I got to see the First Cavalry’s band. Didn’t want to miss them.
