In addition to celebrating the birthday of President Donald Trump, today marks the 250th anniversary of the Army. There will be a grand military parade down Constitution Avenue in Washington, DC and festivities to mark the celebration. The tanks are staged and ready to roll. Fencing and barriers are up. Protective metal plating has been laid out on Washington’s streets. And more than 7,000 troops are poised to march near the National Mall to honor the Army’s 250th anniversary on Saturday
President Donald J. Trump will join veterans, active-duty troops, wounded warriors, Gold Star Families, and Patriotic Americans from across the country to celebrate our heroes who have protected our country through strength and selflessness.
The anticipated start time for the parade is 6:30pm ET, with Livestream Links Below. RSBN will begin broadcasting at 4:30pm ET.

This would be the next best thing I could place besides all the pictures of my forefathers who served including my uncle killed in combat with the 101 St and my combat wounded father both Army.
My respect to all Veterans and their families, especially of my Treepers here.
My son has a John Basilone framed numbered print in his room. It has been there since he was 8 yrs old. He studied him and WWII and grew to admire him and his heroic service.
That is a great story and I know you are very proud of him. If you live in NJ or ever visit, they have a monument to him in his hometown in Raritan NJ. It’s near Duke’s estate which is also a cool place to visit. My combat wounded vet father greatly admired him and we took many rides to Raritan to see it. Ty for your post. My congratulations to you and your spouse and family for raising such a great young man. (I also am big admirer of Audie Murphy)
Ironically Raritan is not too far from PDJT’s Bedminster residence.
Thank you! You are so kind. I will tell him. He loves the WWII museum in NOLA.
John Basilone’s legacy endures.
I was there when USS John Basilone (DDG 122) was christened at Bath Iron Works, the second warship to bear his name. The ship will serve her crew well being Bath-built.
May his valor be remembered forever, and the crew of USS John Basilone serve with distinction in his memory in the years to come.
One of the roadways at Newark Liberty is named for him.
Awesome! My son and I just finished watching The Pacific yesterday. My uncle landed on Guadalcanal in August 1942. He was a Marine with 5th Marines. I was too 40 years later (with 5th Marines).
🙌

Colkitto, my dear friend, I’m glad you kicked us off on this thread.
This ex-Army E-5 Special Forces Intel Analyst salutes anyone who served in any Branch.
However, as this weekend is Father’s Day, this weekend belongs to my Army brothers and sisters.
Everyone gave some…some gave all.
I am honored and proud of you and everyone’s service. When I visited Portland & Seattle back in the early 90’s (before the Cali White nutty liberals destroyed it) I saw loads of Viet Nam vets homeless sleeping under bridges etc It really bothered me that our country would allow that to happen to them. Charity begins at home as my wise Grandma always said. I really appreciated PDJT taking care of our vets. Always great to see you here. I think you and others here will enjoy this.
The Bravest of the Brave
https://thenewamerican.com/us/culture/history/the-bravest-of-the-brave/
As a Vet, I talked to a lot of other Vets during Trump’s first term who had service-related medical dynamics, and each one said that the VA was different and better and more responsive.
My Uncle was in the US Airforce, WWII, he was captured in Germany and survived 2 years as a POW. It took a year of hospitalization in Europe to recover before they would release him home. He was one of the lucky ones. Unfortunately later in life he committed suicide. PTSD is real and back then it wasn’t recognized. I’m still proud and thankful for his service!
Ty for your heartfelt comment. That was indeed a special generation. My uncle was killed at Bastogne. My dad was in the Pacific.
We’re going out tonight but looking forward to seeing it later and all the uniforms through the years! Very cool!
Thank you for the links. I will forward.
Love Trump. But $45 million per for a parade is a waste of money when you’re trying to cut spending. Seriously could’ve done that next year when the Country turns 250 on the Fourth of July, the hypocrisy on both sides of the aisle is stunning for example just look at Minnesota today.
Could you remind me of how much money the government has given to leftist causes through USAID? And how many millions of dollars was spent at Biden’s DoD experimenting putting marbles up the butts of cats? Thanks in advance.
Simply enjoying the real Army members today is worth ignoring the naysayers….. I’ve got them on the PA right now… whether a quiet static shot or young military showing who they are, it is valued.
Good point. I’ve been watching some of the video. Reminds me of attending Armed Forces Day as a child. Great fun!
MAGA!
That is weird considering I’m sure Biden has had a lot weirder things than marbles up his and Hunters butts.
Their heads. But that not weird, that be normal.
Thanks for the laugh 🤣
The laugh, yes. The visual, not so much………….
Glad to be of… Service 😀
You’re absolutely right. Buck sounds like he would agree with Paul Ryan’s take on the parade.

Somehow, $45 million for a Parade to Celebrate our Military seems like a paltry sum when compared to:
The trillions of $$$ wasted by our federal “government” on the United Nations, NATO, fake “global warming”, foreign aid to people who hate our guts, free health care, free housing, free social security, free child care, free food stamps and other aid to the illegal invaders, and on, and on, and on…

That money spent on this splendid occasion will be an income to the people of the U.S. It will be spent in our supermarkets, clothing for families, vacations and barbecues – it will stay in the U.S. and contribute to a good economy.
We love our President Donald J. Trump and wish him the best of all things good as he celebrates his birthday today. May God bless him, his family members and his Administration.
To the Army and all Armed Forces, may you be safe. We appreciate all that you do!
Thank you, Sundance.
The Army deserved this honor. I’m sure it boosted their morale, being part of such a great event for this country and our President.
This is a recruiting event. They are going to enlist thousands of soldiers. This is not a sunk cost. There is ACTUAL value to this event.
Do your research.
I was thinking about benefits to small businesses such as restaurants, etc.
Cannot tell w/o looking at a detailed invoice.
Why? So we can go to war again?
“Speak softly and carry a big stick. “
We need a Robust Military. In Peace or War…
So we can deter those who might otherwise want to fight.
Now, get ROE straightened out and people will know yo don’t want our green suit guys to show up.
That’s the freaking purpose.
“To be prepared for war is one of the most effectual means of preserving peace.” — Gen. George Washington
wasn’t there like $100 million spent researching shrimp running on treadmills
our vets and active duty soldiers deserve this recognition, not only that, but watch enlistments skyrocket
happy birthday to the greatest president who’s ever served our country!
Best spent money ever.
I don’t think it’s just about a parade. I think President Trump is trying to build pride and patriotism in America. With all the negative coming from the Marxist left and media, we need some positive events to build on MAGA feeling and support.
And so much needed at this time of anti-American attacks from everywhere!
To think about the cost of this parade is like voting NO on the BBB because it doesn’t go deep enough cutting the waste, fraud, and abuse those same opponent voted previously for.
Poseurs!
Amen. We’ve become so conditioned to think love of country is something to be ashamed of. I love this country and I am forever grateful to the men & women in uniform who defend our rights.
“Lighten up, Francis.” – SGT Hulka
But!!!!
President Trump Won!!
America is winning with hus leadership!
The Army Needs You!!!
Looking at Minnesota, from 45 thousand feet, it appears the shooter was planning to attend the No Kings Circus later today. God only knows what the clowns will do with the Juneteenth day off.
I have spoken to three veterans today, two who both think the parade is about Trump- one of those two did not know it the 250th anniversary of the army.
The third was a twenty- two year veteran of the Navy, pro-Trump, retired during the auto-pen’s term and will watch the parade with his family.
How much will Juneteenth cost?
I served during the terms of Obamao the first through the third.
The all too brief time under President Trump’s first term was a bright spot in an otherwise joyless drudgery under progressively worse Uniparty schemes.
The morale gain from this parade for the US Army’s history is nigh incalculable. It is money well spent that will boost recruitment and retention for the foreseeable future.
Juneteenth spending at the Federal level on the other hand is mostly worthless waste except to those virtue signaling types. Any amount will be too much.
The paid day off has to cost more than this parade.
Thank you for your service!
What?! I thought it was for the birthday of Boy George!
Who doesn’t love a parade? I remember many wonderful parades honoring our military and our country when my husband and I were kids. We grew up in different states but it was the same feeling of pride whether you lived in cities or small towns. We sat in lawn chairs along the parade route and it was so magical. So happy this celebration of our country is alive and well.
Agree; really glad this parade is happening; grew up in a small town, parades always great and it’s way past time that we returned to honoring our soldiers!
BAH HUMBUG.
The 45m figure is very misleading. The vast majority of the costs are fixed, so would be spent regardless.
Ya know what, Buck, our government spends about $16.5 billion dollars each and every single day–me thunks we can afford to spend $45 Million for a parade celebrating Flag day and honoring the history of our Armed Services.
How do you get ANY upvotes on this site 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️! I am a proud member of the DAR and every generation of my family has served this GREAT NATION up to this very day. Consider that $45 million as a paltry payment against the debt we owe to all the patriots who ever served the United States of America. Happy Birthday President Trump and Happy Birthday to the U.S. Army!
Cannot believe there are 10 up votes for this statement! Waste of money….…you’ve got to be joking after all the DOGE reports.
In Trump fashion, he has corporate sponsors for the parade. Guess you missed that major item.
Major donations were made to sponsor this event:
https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/big-tech-sponsors-military-parade/2025/06/13/id/1214917/
I don’t like the relationship with big tech. The technology they will install may be great under the Trump admistration but when the left is back in charge, we’re all in trouble!
Guidelines for Throwing Wet Towels
…4. Before releasing said towel, swing your torso in the direction of your throwing arm.
This will allow it to travel further & faster.
The US Army’s recruiting advertising budget last year was $1.1 Billion. This parade is money well spent. They can’t buy this kind of publicity.
The military pays to do events at football games, crazy that people are complaining about this parade.
Um, I believe Trump personally funded this.
I could be wrong.
Not true.
The thing I got out of it w/the tanks and roads, it showed what bad shape the roads in DC are in and if the tanks tore them up to where they needed to be repaved and repaired it would be a good thing. The Ave. looked like crap.
Now I’m wondering if they drove over the sections with all the woke nonsense painted on it.
I’m sure the left destroyed way more than 45million in federal property in LA alone, not to mention over the past 4years!
That amount is actually spare change of the overall Armed Forces Recruiting budget.
Thank you for hosting.
I had the pleasure of meeting a war veteran today, ironically delivering a wine shipment that I am currently enjoying to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Army. Iraqi War, Army/Navy brat, now a FedEx driver asking for my ‘adult’ signature.
Honors!
I have had the honor of knowing a green beret…a ranger…a seal team 7 member….(this guy had his ‘trident’ with him in the OR while getting open heart surgery)….
A brotherhood most of us will never comprehend….
“Leaving her his last request….put silver wings on my son’s chest…”
They mean what they say. One can see it in their eyes. I was blessed to see it today. A gift from God.
Yes!
this song is so hard, dearest brother joined in ’67. won his beret and then earned his ranger tab in ’69. Co C 7th SF Gp (Abn) 1st SF lots of experiences implied but rarely shared. inherited his bug out bag!!
yikes!
Watching RSBN getting ready for the parade. Very excited! Thank you 2nd Continental Congress for our Army. God bless General Washington.
Happy Birthday, Army!
Thank you all U.S. military past, present and their families.
Well played!
The Nazorean, jewish, Jesus, was sarcastically (miss) labeled on a cross by roman guards as
a dig towards the jew leader(s) at the time,
‘King of the Jews’
but, was not a king
( more reverently respected as
Father, Son of God’s kingdom, and Holy Spirit )
A couple thousand years later, Whom has learned?
I emphatically disagree: He is the King of all kings!
From John 18: “Jesus answered, ‘My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would certainly strive that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now my kingdom is not from hence.'” Jesus is, and was, a King.
Yes, not king of this world… (politics etc.)
(but, of the spiritual world – which potentially encompasses all of us….even the one’s currently in denial along their faith life journey)
p.s.
There is no greater love,
than the love of God to give his son
(so that we could experience the father, son and holy spirit)
p.s.
A deep love is experienced when love is given away – to someone else…
Song: Give it away
p.s.
a father walking a daughter along an aisle to become married is a good example, of giving love away,
yet, still not the greatest of love that God gave to all of us…
Amen!
I wish i could have seen a whole day of the celebrations but RSBN ws in and out, and the other networks same and w protestors, but i did see a couple hrs this morning, Such a wonderful display i did see, and waiting for the Parade. Happy Birthday to the Army , DJT and its Flag Day.
RAV is showing the entire parade without interruptions.
this channel is live now, with the presentation of Colors and the National Anthem about to happen:
I voted for him three times. They cheated once and they installed a demented puppet. Absolutely nothing was about the steal or J6! The District of corruption was all complicit.
6 times including primaries.
About 60 protesters demonstrating against military parade arrested outside U.S. Capitol

Good!
UPDATE: Just announced on Fox that the start has been moved up 30 minutes to 6pm EDT, in a effort to outfox Mother Nature.
White House channel up shortly:
It has begun
TOLD YOU SO with 100% ACCURACY
Trump said IRAN can’t have a nuke = 100%
Time for those scum mullahs to watch the cranes with the hanging hooks rolling into the town square for them.
Sounds a “bit” over the top.
Don’t know about that video because I didn’t watch it, but Israel reports it now has air superiority over western and central Iran where Tehran is located and can now strike any target desired at will. They say they will now be going after leadership.
Very reasonable. Not over the top.
War sucks. This one should be over quickly but the results on the people will be long lasting. I hope for their freedom from the ruling mullahs is complete and that a new, more free govt. takes their place. God watch over the innocents who will be casualties.
go to moonofalabama.org for current update…..
Awesome!!!
The “No Kings” motto is perfect for the Democrats and the insurrectionists. After all, they have no kings, they have all the queens. IYKYK.
That was THE BEST STAR SPANGLED BANNER I EVER HEARD SUNG.
When she started I thought..oh no, she’s never going to make the high notes later…but, she did, with ease. beautiful!
Well, this is a Navy/USMC/USMM family but this is the Army’s day…so that said…Go Army.
We’re all in it together. Honors!
True that!
One of my grandfathers was in the Army; the other was a Marine. My Dad and FIL were Army and then went Air Force. My hubby and I were Air Force. I never feel quite as ‘at home’ as I do when surrounded by our military!! What a grand parade!!
Beat Navy.
We are mostly Navy too, but have a second cousin who is an Army Sergeant Major!
So with you Aggiegirl, Go Army, as I honor ALL who serve 😘
The major networks are not broadcasting the parade as of 1820 hours……….twits!
Those humans are being who they really are. It’s wonderful information!
Our Continental Army overcame many obstacles.
CSpan ftw
Did you honestly think they would?
They’ll watch if the Army marches in Ukraine.
at time of the capitulation ????
I’ve heard umpteen times this week about how the Metro is going cave in due to the tanks.
I’d be stunned if DC wasn’t reinforced for this type of traffic.
They installed turning pads made up of steel plates for the tanks. The tracked vehicles all have rubber pads installed to protect the pavement. In general, one would be surprised how low the ground impact is per square foot from tracked vehicles compared to tired vehicles. This is elemental to the tractive effort of bulldozers, and tanks.
I saw the details through a reporter I follow in D.C. who videos all this stuff, PenguinSix.
Special Sponsor, Lockheed Martin….
…stock up about 17 dollars at the close yesterday…
Nice Israeli F35 contract, and training/support.
It’s hard to have it both ways, minimal military/defense contractors and peace through strength. I expect national defense, and sales to allies, will always be with us. I’d prefer the funds go to improving domestic tranquility and QOL but life is what it is.
Figures.
Just for the record, MSNBC at this moment is interviewing Al Franken, and CNN is showing some dumb parade in LA about some mythical king. Both of these networks should be on the WH press secretary’s “don’t call on list” for at least several months.
Who is that guy sitting behind President Trump? He refused to shake hands or clap when Pete approached and then did the same to President Trump. Everybody else shook hands and clapped but he didn’t. He is obviously NOT MAGA. He looks vaguely familiar but I can’t place him.
SS maybe?
No, not ss. He’s either a member of the cabinet or a senator. But thank you.
Dan Driscoll?
He so obviously did not acknowledge our Sec of Defence or our President. He kept his hands clasped tightly in front of him to avoid shaking hands.
Not Driscoll. (I looked him up) But thank you for answering.
Just saw that too… not Driscoll. Driscoll had a big smile on his face. He’s sitting directly behind Trump… and the guy to the right of him is a sour puss too.
LE and SS are not usually smiling.
Hi Dixie,
So my question to him would be “Why-are you even attending?”
Saw the exact same thing and thought it very weird. Red tie behind Trump)$ left shoulder.
Yes. I finally got the man’s face steady behind Trump’s right shoulder but then I didn’t know how to isolate it after I got it. LOL. 😎
He looks like a young Mike Pompeo
LE doesnt shake hands when on duty not with ANYONE. thats the gun hand usually and if not is a distraction.
The 82nd Band…and the theme to Band of Brothers?
Yeah, I found that weird, but maybe I am missing something.
Fought in 3 wars…..
My heart ❤️ full of pride and patriotism. Everlasting love and dedication to President Trump, Our Movement and CTH 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
We were fortunate to have had a very good veteran friend in our lives who belonged to The 101St Airborne. We still have the beautiful American flag he gifted us, it has a beautiful Eagle on top of the post.
God Bless all our troops everywhere.
Happy Birthday President Trump.
Nice history lesson about the evolution of US military hardware.
Can’t beat the dictators’ military parades, though.
Wouldn’t the Dimocrats scream about something like these:
Russia’s Victory Day parade 2024
https://www.youtube.com/live/a28IQLva9yQ?feature=shared&t=764
N. Korea’s latest ICBMs and drones at massive military parade
China celebrates 70th anniversary with biggest ever military parade
Doble BOOOOOOO.
They certainly do know how to do a parade.
I simply don’t understand how goose stepping can be done for any extended period of time.
I have never understand how the Russians can do what I call the knee dance.
Booooooo.
Amazing how all the people in those videos look identical in size. I have never liked the “blouse” look for our military. It makes even the thin fit ones look porky and shapeless.
dont you know there are physical requirements for military? prob. stricter in China/Russia. Lots of reasons – mostly to make sure fit for purpose but it makes sizing uniforms easier. Ha!
Wondering if they will mention the Jungle Survival School…
They are doing a good job on this parade of Army thru history.. I have to give
the White House props this is very good as well as the video series from the
White House of American History they are putting out for the 250th..
Whoever put it all together has done a wonderful job. The histories given are an awesome reminder of what those who fight for us…go thru…in a way, puts many faces to the force.
A little Aggie info…then I gotta go….
Texas A&M University has historically been a significant source of reserve officers for the U.S. Army. The university’s Corps of Cadets and its Army ROTC program have produced a large number of officers, with the Corps consistently commissioning more ROTC officers than any other institution in the country.(Brave).
Saw a quick moment of live TV showing Marco Rubio on the very front row, except that he again had that strange sleepy or hypnotized gaze while YAWNING… Not a good look. He travels very much but still, not cool. He didn’t seem to care how he was presenting himself to the Nation.
I wouldn’t hold it against him. I doubt any of them have had much sleep over the last few days. Something about Iran….. 😉
Words cannot express how grateful I am that Trump is president for our 250th. I do more than cringe to think what it would have been like under the Kackler.
This is so lovely but I’m dying to know who the asshat is beside Hegseth who refused to clap for him and Trump. Get that guy out of here!
Could it be SS? Possibly?
Secretary of the Army?
Maybe… pretty creepy
That is Daniel Driscoll, Sect of Army.
Me too JWoo. I’m trying to isolate his face but it seems impossible. One thing for certain. He ain’t MAGA. Send the guy home.
He is doing a job. Can you all get over it.
He is OBVIOUSLY LE/SS. get over it.
Army family here… hooah! Nice to see soldiers here and not fairies in skirts.
Barracuda!
Edited to add I don’t care that they come from Communist Seattle, one would recognize Nancy Wilson’s guitar riffs anywhere and joint base Lewis-Mcchord is right there. I’m glad the organizers included those riffs and music.
That’s OK – I’ll still always think of Sarah Palin as “Sarah-cuda!”
very interesting and very glad Rubio didn’t actually fall asheep.
LMAO they are playing War Pigs at the parade.
Black Sabbath
This is the only country where one would ever hear hard rock at a military parade! Hahahahaha.
Seriously? Was it during the parade of Vietnam era hardware? “Fortunate Son” and “We Gotta’ Get Out of This Place,” would have also been appropriate.
💥🇺🇸💥🇺🇸💥 GO ARMY!!! THANK YOU FOR 250 YEARS OF DEDICATION AND SERVICE TO OUR GREAT NATION!!! 💥🇺🇸💥🇺🇸💥
AMEN!
That was a B52 Stratofortess that buzzed my house under 2kft, yesterday..
Hope theh plag Heavy Metal for that flyover.
I remember when the B52’s at Mather (Air Force base in California) would buzz the track in the pattern back in the 70’s and 80’s. They looked like they were going to fall out of the sky. We stopped racing (drag racing) and watched them. Respect.
They’ve been flying low over my area too… a few miles from the end of the Cherry Point runway.
I enjoyed my time at Ft B.
The retired marines loved the area around Cherry Point Marine Air Base so much many of them settled in this area after retirement. I came back to this area to try to find one of them. LOL! Seriously though, this is a great area.
Speaking of your Fort Bragg, I know you’re glad they changed the name back to Fort Bragg. It was like trying to change history.
Joni Ernst doesn’t look thrilled. She should have stayed home.
Agreed! Can’t stand that woman.
If the marchers can hear that background music as they must, how in the heck are they remaining in step? (been there, done that) From what I can see, they aren’t. More like a slightly coordinated route step. Someone needs to be shouting cadence, but I don’t see that.
Nobody thought of that or just didn’t have the balls to speak up?
Command will have a debrief on that I expect. Wouldn’t want to be them tomorrow.
Thunder!
Note the large Palantir sign.
And Oracle… waiting for Pfizer to show up
Good job on the instrumental rock songs most people are familiar with. Sec Def was jamming to AC/DC Thunderstruck 😄
I was hoping Treepers would school me on the more modern stuff. Angus Young riffs are like breathing.
If you were being marched off to your own execution and “Thunderstruck” was playing you just know you’d have to stop and play air guitar!
“Special thanks to sponsor Palantir!”
LOL!
NOT new, just enhanced with another tool to abuse.

I’m sitting here watching this from the beginning and can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of refreshing patriotism after the non-stop TDS from earlier in the day. Admittedly, when this was first announced, I wasn’t certain of the benefits of it. And now I realize the brilliance of President Trump in conceiving and bringing it to pass. So many positive takeaways, including recruitment of young Americans to serve their country and be a part of something larger than themselves. Well done, Mr. President. Well done.
The young men in the tanks were certainly enthusiastic. I love it.! Except for that guy behind President Trump and beside Hegseth.
It is also a history lesson celebrating our 250th and the Army 250th..
We are about fifteen minutes behind in the broadcast and THIS IS the country I know and love
This has been awesome. I’m extremely patriotic and stuff like this pulls at my heart strings. My Dad was Army; my BIL, AF and missing in action in WWII.
It IS a brilliant recruitment ad. As it is, numbers are way up and ahead with President Trump as CIC and Pete Hegseth as Sec of Defense. I imagine the numbers will go through the roof after this. It’s a new day for the military… But PT often has multiple layers to his strategies, and I’m thinking that another reason for this impressive parade is because we are currently dealing with big guns like Iran, Russia, and China.
Those are countries that respect strength, and they also love having their own military parades and shows of force. This may be a way of putting our own power on display, as a prelude to further negotiations. There’s nothing weak or soft about today’s event. After four year of Biden’s “trans” army, with ranking men in skirts and pumps, and DEI policy reigning, it gives the Trump administration a little more gravitas in telling Iran what we want “or else…”
Love the parade!
Army!
Make young men jealous.
Join. ❤️
I wish that we could just have the parade without all the stupid talking over the event. So annoying… all the channels have to talk over even c-span. The event already has a host explaining the event…
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
RSBN…. No talking during the event.
they are so worthy of honor! thank you, president trump; thank you, sundance! (the smiles from our men and women while waving to the crowd warmed my heart…so proud!)
It’s nice seeing the President every now and then standing up and saluting the soldiers as they pass by the grandstand.
Commentators said he was standing and saluting every unit going by.
