Attorney Laura Powell looked into CHIRLA’s funding and made some startling findings. Yes, there’s government money going into the org; that’s not startling.
What is startling is the amount. According to a financial audit submitted to the State of California, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, CHIRLA took in $34 million from various government contracts, and 96 percent of the government funding was from the State of California.
That amount is nearly three times the prior year’s government contract total. CHIRLA’s total revenue for the year ending June 30, 2023, was $45 million, meaning that 75.5 percent of its revenue came from government contracts.
When ICE conducted raids Friday morning at multiple locations in downtown Los Angeles, violent protesters impeded their work at both the staging location at a Home Depot in Paramount and outside the targeted business in downtown.
Things might have stayed somewhat contained but for the involvement of two powerful and high-profile leftist community “leaders.”
One of those people, SEIU California President David Huerta, was arrested for interfering with federal officers after he got in the way of ICE officers.
After his arrest, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Rep. Gil Cisneros, and other Democrat elected officials decried the action.
Then Angelica Salas, Executive Director of the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) held a press conference calling for broad demonstrations against ICE, and tensions and violence escalated from there.

June 14th is nokings day. Their website is completely visible and their are links showing approximately 200 ngo’s who have signed up for protest. Before this event happens likely violence, property damage and injury, the DOJ should contact every ngo leader and advise them any non peaceful incident will leader to arrest and prosecution. Further everyone of these ngo’s should have their money trail stopped. We either have laws or we don’t. Do it now, stop the insanity and lawlessness.

Massive planning for 6/14 riots…..I mean protests…oops
The FEDERAL Money, cited a “paying for the riots”, is coming from the residual USAID money given to NGO’s (Directly and REPROGRAMMED) and other funds REPROGRAMMED by the state of CA, given to local NGO’s. This is the reason the AUTHORIZATION language in ANY TYPE of FEDERAL Spending Bill is CRITICAL.
Due the way the AUTHORIZATION language is written, good luck tracking and accounting for where any of the money came from.
The current money came from the Biden Auto-Pen …. BUT … if the same AUTHORIZATION language is in the Big Beautiful Bill and future Bills … the next installment of money comes from PRESIDENT TRUMP when he signs any NEW spending legislation passed by the current CONGRESS.
The conundrum is … if the arguments over spending BILLS can be made to last until September 2025 … it’s CR Time and then its like continuing BILLS signed by the Biden Auto-Pen as CR’s FREEZE Previously AUTHORIZED Spending and Budget Lines in place. This is where the Uni-Party is lilely heading.

The riots/peaceful protests are absolutely planned and funded by left wing sources. This is part of the fight against Trump and MAGA but also a distraction. Mark my words – all of this will be used to justify ushering in the upcoming AI surveillance state and may even result in martial law. The process is pretty straight forward … plan the battles in friendly run democrat terrain …. cadres organize locally and bus in the troops augment the numbers as well as provide the actual shock troops …. stage the weapons … then start as “peaceful protest”, then “agitators” escalate the violence.
It has been the tried and true formula since 2016.
This time around, Battleground RED States with large democrat run enclaves (i.e. Texas) are likely going to see LA Level’s of violence in those enclaves (i.e. Dallas, Houston, El Paso, etc.)
It’s ALL focused on impacting the mid-term elections.

Problem is there has been nothing but tough talk from this administration and that doesn’t work. Action and severe consequences works and we don’t have any of that . They are trying to bait Trump into doing something drastic so they can point the finger and say “Trump is Hitler”.
This is their play. They want Trump to arrest Newsom so they can say that Trump is locking up his political opponents, Trump is a threat to democracy, authoritarian dictator, yada yada yada.
This is obviously a trap, and I strongly doubt Trump takes the cheese.
Nobody cares what they say or think anymore , they will say that regardless. Trump needs to take the stance of not giving a damn what anybody says about him and his FBI needs to arrest Newsom , Bass and a whole lot of other people who are promoting this .
