If you have walked the deep political weeds with us, you will likely remember the warnings. Thomas Massie, Chip Roy, Rand Paul and other fellow republican travelers will join with Elon Musk and the alligator emoji network to oppose President Trump as soon as they can get back into the minority.
There is an intention behind this alignment of interests, which includes the Tech Bros (and Sea Island), that ends with a Vance-DeSantis promoted effort in 2028. The only thing standing in their way is MAGA. As a result, MAGA must be fractured.
The money center behind the strategy is working on a learning curve. Having failed with prior launches of similar approaches (ref. DeSantis ’23/’24), they are now doing much more proactive seeding.
Yeah, I know, I know; some will say I’m crazy. I’m not. I’ve watched this exact group’s constructs for over 14 years now. All the data indicates this approach; the only unknown variables are the names of the political representatives who will participate. Today, Thomas Massie is asking Elon Musk to fund primary challengers against the House republicans who support Donald Trump.
WASHINGTON DC – Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., said Elon Musk should fund primary challenges against almost every Republican who voted for President Donald Trump‘s “big, beautiful bill” last week. “I don’t primary my colleagues, but I feel pretty good about him doing it,” Massie told Fox News Digital on Wednesday.
“There’s a few others that should be spared,” when asked to clarify if he meant all 215 House Republicans who supported the legislation. “But people want term limits, right? Elon can bring term limits.”
Musk came out against the massive Trump agenda bill that House Republicans passed last week. “I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it,” Musk first posted.
It was followed by several posts on the national debt, and one that read, “In November next year, we fire all politicians who betrayed the American people.”
Massie said on Wednesday, “I just think he made one mistake when misstatement – he said take them out in November. I would take them out in primaries if I were Elon Musk.” (more)
Massie wants to give control of the House to Democrats. With Democrats in control President Trump is then isolated, ridiculed, marginalized and targeted again. This approach, the Massie strategists believe, diminishes President Trump, and weakens his endorsement power in the lead up to the ’28 contest.
Both Massie and Musk supported Ron DeSantis until Trump finished crushing him in 2024. This is simply a replay.
The Sea Island GOPe are nothing if not predictable.
Team Cruz in ’16, became Team DeSantis in ’24, will be Team Vance in ’28.
Watch.

Clowns
We’re going to have a great primary season in 2026.
I’m surprised Lindsey Graham’s out from under his rock, he’s up in 2026.
Lindsey has a challenger who might be a good choice to vote for.
SC has open primaries & Ms Grahamnesty is a demoncrap favorite.
Another Clyburn miracle for Lindsey.
Trump will endorse Graham no matter how much Graham works to undermine Trump’s agenda.
If Trump is unwilling to go full Ninja on the GOP, then his second term will end much like his first and his only lasting legacy will be Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barret. Pretty ugly if that’s how it plays out.
Trump deserves more time though to work on the GOP. If we are still f-ing around at Labor Day, he needs to start shredding some GOP butts. Burn the entire thing to the ground if needed. That’s what I voted for.
I don’t think Trump endorses Graham in 2026, I was just fixin to post every single person in that bottom picture has gone down except Linsey Graham, and he’s probably causing trouble because he knows he’s next.
It seems to be more like TDS; derangement leading to downfall, they can’t seem to help it.
Enjoy it, it’s funny.
Trump Revelation Syndrome.
They rage because he reveals them.
Miss Lindsey’s unveiling likely to be particularly ugly.
I hope you’re right!
Eye-Patch is still on the job– and getting wealthier by the second.
Porn Patch Possum.
Good take. Time is needed. Time to pray and hope. The enemies of MAGA have long held their deep power … so prayer, deep faith ➕, wise strategic planning and staying frosty are all essential to our well being and victory. Trump winning in 2016 was thru an impossible God-thing and that’s the only thing we can hope for again now IMHO.
When does this crap ever end?! 👹
Yes they are, but you don’t have to be. Abandon the cities, buy land, become as self sufficient as possible, and enjoy the freedom Trump gives you while it lasts. No one is coming to save us, ever! You either keep buying into their BS, or you opt out.
Property taxes are the plan to take that land and self-sufficiency from you at the will of those in power. They’ll mock us for having created their escape home for them.
And thus it begins.
I thought it would take a little longer, but always knew it would happen.
Liars and frauds are nothing if not predictable.
They say Elon is a genius, right? If so, then Elon must know that if the Communists get control in 2028, they will destroy him. Elon by supporting DOGE as become a traitor to these Communists.
Albert Einstein once got lost walking around in a ghetto in Philadelphia.
He was lucky he came out alive.
That was the ghettos before LBJ came along.
True story. Years ago, my parents best friends (who are white) were in New York and took the subway, but unknowingly missed intended stop and exited the train at the wrong stop. As they exited the stairs and started down the sidewalk, an older black couple stopped them and asked them if they were lost. Jim answered “Yes, we don’t know where the hell we are”! (That’s Jim… He still is that way!) The gentleman told them, “My friend, you have exited in Harlem. Walk with us and we will get you back to the train that will get you where you need to go”. They were certainly as grateful as Einstein at that time! LOL
Musk is Autistic Savant. Genius in tech but emotionally unstable.
His taste in women is horrible
Many men have that issue. Rich, poor, young, old, intelligent, stupid just doesn’t matter with that problem. A wise man once said they are all crazy, you just have to find one that you can deal with that variety of crazy.
True that and he has no Christly rudder. Dangerous man.
No. He is not a ‘savant’. He is a typical Asperger with typical meltdowns and obsessions and unstable family life due to lack of ability to see the other person’s point of view. Very high functioning in maths. I married one almost the same.
Elon is liberal who whops on whatever side of the fence benefits him.
They are users. Once Musk starts helping their side again, they will use him again and lay off the recent past criticisms/hatred.
That’s a good point. Plus the communists are at around 19% if the polls are to be believed. They’re not. But I don’t think their voters are real anyway. It’s super frustrating how a dem house goes kamikaze and a republican house goes snooze. There’s so much corruption everywhere it sometimes seems insurmountable.
Elon is angry because he did not get the tax deals he wanted for electric cars, etc.
He has/had an agenda beyond DOGE
I agree with SD.
Look at the prior affiliations of even those closest to the president. Anyone can smile and assume a role for a few years. What are their past connections?
Musk is not a genius he is what some call an artificial entrepreneur who wins—not through merit or creativity—but because Musk receives government favors—subsidies, protective regulations, tax breaks, or public contracts. Musk’s success is politically-engineered, not market-earned. He is the largest private contractor for government. Musk’s companies combine innovation with massive state subsidies and public contracts. In each case, the line between entrepreneurial success and government engineering becomes blurry.
Musk was not a founder of Tesla, that honor belongs to Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. Musk was hired by them as the 4th CEO. Per Tesla’s SEC filings they make their money selling government invented carbon credits to other companies, not selling cars, despite all the subsidies that have been poured on them and the EV market. In 2002 Musk launched Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) with the support of Michael Griffin, then president and chief operating officer of CIA investment firm, In-Q-Tel. But by 2008 Musk was flat broke. Despite considerable taxpayer funded investments, SpaceX was bankrupt.
Luckily for Musk, Griffin was by then the Administrator for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). In December 2008, NASA awarded Musk a $3 billion space station resupply contract. SpaceX hadn’t yet successfully launched a single rocket, but Griffin bailed it out anyway. (NASA is funded by US taxpayers.)
SpaceX is also indebted to the US Agency for International Development (USAID), as we know that pretends to be a charity. USAID is paying SpaceX handsomely to provide the Ukrainian military and Ukrainian citizens with access to SpaceX-launched Starlink, a satellite communication system. Safe to say, then, that Musk has had a very long working relationship with the US intelligence community—the CIA, in particular.
In an all stock deal Musk’s xAI acquired X creating XAI Holdings, which many are saying was done to have floundering X ride the AI financial wave, as supported by his Memphis data center, Colossus.
Investing in any one of Musk’s companies isn’t about a quick return on investment. It’s about buying into the mysticism around Musk and swallowing whole a narrative of success that outpaces the actual numbers. Some call it a grift, pointing to Musk’s history of overpromising and underdelivering. All of Elon’s companies today are basically one company, Elon, Inc.
The internet and many of the major “Big Tech” firms that dominate it wouldn’t exist in their current form were it not for the considerable development efforts and monies that have been invested in them by governments—most notably their intelligence agencies.
Musk isn’t going to do what Massie is asking because no matter who is in Congress the government deep state is his client not Congress. Look at what the House has put into Trump’s current bill:
Republicans in the House Energy and Commerce Committee quietly added the proposed amendment in Section 43201, Subsection C. I say it’s secret because it has received almost no media attention.
The amendment reads as follows:
No state regulation of AI for 10 years. This is giving away the farm to the likes of Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, Elon Musk, Sam Altman, Mark Zuckerberg, Saudi Prince Muhammed bin Salman and a host of other technocrats and billionaires investing in this world-changing technology. And a majority of states, both red and blue ones, are not going to take it sitting down.
Thanks for this explanation. It sounds like Musk is a Deep State Construct. The money always follows the Deep State favorite.
I support Trump most of the time, but the spending bill is a joke.
Musk stepped out there and took the political heat for DOGE and No meaningful cuts were implemented. I would also be mad.
Personally, I expect the debt train to proceed full speed ahead to the ultimate crash. Neither party will control spending until an economic catastrophe occurs. The grift of taxpayer funds is too good for the politicians, their friends and families.
Agree
Let me plant a seed on the national debt. The current debt is around $37T. The current value of all private retirements funds which includes 401Ks, IRAs, and private pensions is almost that same number.
I won’t say any more than that except to say think about the inevitable financial meltdown and how the uni-party might temporarily fix it and continue to loot.
Don’t think they would have enough bullets for what will follow if they tried that.
Unfortunately, they absolutely will go full speed over the financial cliff and to hell with any consequences. You cannot reason with sociopaths.
Yeah I know, they think it’s funny in Washington.
They sit around getting drunk in Georgetown and laugh at you.
They might… for now.
I promise nothing but the wishes of a man with little left to lose and only wanting to be left alone.
I have always dreamed of some Vet or Vets who might be dying of cancer who say to hell with it and he or they take out a few of these godless traitors we call politicians. If it did ever happen a lot of these Traitors like Graham would never come out of hiding. Oh well we can dream.
FDR had no problem robbing every citizen of their gold coins.
Somehow, I don’t think another round of that would have quite the same acquiescence as when FDR first did it.
Some people are going to be bit wiser about it. Well, at least some of them who possess a bit of knowledge of that history.
Can you say “Covid”? At least 80% of the citizenry complied without complaint. Yes, FDR could get away with it again today with the proper Marxist propaganda.
You represent like 15% of the population. Sit down, until you have more votes you’re the problem, splintering the party.
It has been challenging to gain understanding regarding the BBB. In searching for original source material, finding interviews with Russ Vought, Scott Bessent, Howard Lutnick and Steven Miller have been helpful in gaining clarity.
The White House Website (www. whitehouse.gov) is cranking out information regarding the One Big Beautiful Bill.
It has been helpful to further understand that the bill is a Reconciliation bill not an appropriations (budget) bill.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/2025/06/mythbuster-the-one-big-beautiful-bill-cuts-spending-deficit-and-thats-a-fact/
Great job. Thank you for posting.
There’s no way the Bill has that much pork in it or Elon Musk wouldn’t be off the Reservation.
And if he didn’t get it no-one else would have.
Elon is the pork that didn’t make the cut.
Hence his sadz.
I just have to ask: Doesn’t Mr. Elon know how big a ‘carbon footprint’
it takes to build electric cars? Much of that footprint comes from gathering the metals etc. & building large batteries using rare earth metals & such.
How about the labor force? What labor pool is used? Adding to the footprint is disposing of the batteries. Any strip mining involved?
Adding to the cost is the extra weight of the cars & the added impact of that weight on roads & bridges. Doesn’t the fine rubber from the weight on the tires that flies from the rolling tires add extra pollution?
SamFox
Listened to the Tucker interview with Senator Ron Johnson this morning, 2 trillion-dollar deficits every year. Spending up front and (imaginary – my words) cuts later! I have been to this rodeo; I keep looking for the DOGE inspired cuts
Hey “jim”. The DOGE cuts are coming is a separate bill.
OurLastStand is correct. Some crap rule Congress made at some time or other for whatever reason means the cuts need 60 votes. Those are not available yet.
SamFox
The spending is your taxes not going up. And the scoring doesn’t account for growth over 1.9%. It’s all fake. You don’t think Ron Johnson actually cares about spending do you? Been there how long now? Participated in all the spending that made this mess. Most of it anyways. Thes guys voted to raise the debt ceiling under Biden and made it so it expires soon under President Trump. They set it all up. Don’t fall for it.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
A good, informed post, Pimpernel.
You know, Elon and Massie both know all of this. But Elon is emotionally unstable, as has been mentioned, and has his eyes set on the AI-driven New Humanity project, a darling of the globalists. Having the U.S. solvent enough to finance the effort in this country was a priority, but the survival of the America First movement post-Trump is not in the cards if he and like minds have anything to say about it.
Massie is Gowdy – he talks a good game, as Lindsey once did, but don’t think for a moment that he is America First, not where the rubber meets the road. We need Thomas Massie in congress about as much as we need DeSantis in the White House.
And finally, it will be interesting to see Elon pour his wealth into Republican primary races. lol The President also has a war chest of hundreds of millions of dollars and if there is one thing Trump has proven, his personal brand tends to dampen the effect of opposition spending – just ask Hillary and Kamala.
J
Thank you, J
J. It’s always nice when you can see behind the curtain, especially when it comes to people pushing the narrative like Elon, Massie and Miss Lindsey…
There’s reality, and there’s what anti-Trump/anti-American politicos say.
Mr. Pimpernel, Over a 10 year span, would not spending ALSO have to be heavily cut to do any serious debt reduction? A decade seems a bit long. How will it look by the next POTUS election? Then the next?
Also, isn’t the 37 trillion $ debt going to grow a few more trillion while we wait for the forecasts to kick in (and IF) the forecasts are correct. Aren’t we adding a trillion every few months NOW?
Not being picky, just aghast & curious.
SamFox
The dodge cuts are coming. They are coming in separate recession bills.
President Trump’s team is also developing a budget for next year and it cuts as well.
Are you trying to obfuscate?
Are we supposed to pretend that those will happen. The GOP is stringing Trump along. Charlie Brown, Lucy, and a football come to mind.
It’s a limited bill that cannot address the other issues.
They will be attended to.
Of course they are trying to play him, mostly by trying to misinform us about how it is being pursued and encouraging rage and despair, meaning quite a number of voices here are seeking to play us.
I have to ask, Jbird, in a reconciliation bill which for reasons of legislative rules isn’t allowed to address the discretionary cuts mandated by DOGE’s investigations, how would you have proceeded differently, to avoid the analogy?
Up to now, “cuts in spending” has typically only meant cutting the rate of growth of discretionary spending – mandatory spending has been treated as holy ground, not subject to cutting on pain of political suicide. But the BBB not only touches mandatory spending, it locks in the lowest tax rates we’ve seen in decades, and it gives middle class tax relief. And yet, many of us are wringing our hands as if it’s going to destroy the country because the DOGE cuts have to wait on a rescission bill – “if we can’t have it all now, then let it all burn!”
That’s my biggest faulting of Musk and Massie, Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum. They’ve learned how to rhetorically play the MAGA base, which either of them would just as soon see go away, and like Charlie and Lucy, we fall for it every single time.
The President has been in office for just a handful of months. Let’s give him a little breathing space before declaring he doesn’t know what he’s doing and burning it all down. Promises made, promises kept, his record is good, he hasn’t failed us yet.
J
The spending is for military and mass deportations and tax cuts. That is it.
The spending they’re telling you about in the bill? That’s to keep your taxes at thier current level. Get it? If your taxes don’t go up that’s spending.
You have no foresight, blind to the propaganda. It passed with 1 vote, you try to do that, dreamer. You can type on the internet and whine like a school girl, but you cannot govern. It’s maddening.
Research a little further about why Musk is angry.
Tax credits for electric cars is one.
War Room outlined his list of wants that went unfulfilled. He is angry about it
Re the BBB: Musk has a point about spending, but this is not a budget bill. Could be he fears that the decline of the Climate Delusion will affect the prospects of his battery-car business. But Space-X should do fine in the Golden Dome era to come, so maybe he just doesn’t understand the difference between a Reconciliation Bill and the Budget Bills. Or is he just trying to help President Trump by convincing the anti-Musk Democrats to vote for the BBB? Who knows—he is a quixotic character.
Anyway, I think Rand Paul makes a good argument that we should be reducing spending to at least 2019 levels, and we should not be increasing the Debt Limit 6 trillion dollars. But if Scott Bessent says the BBB is OK, I’m inclined to agree with him.
Ask Rand Paul what he would cut and by how much – specifically. Then ask him how many votes he will have to get it passed.
And then ask him if he thinks his republican friends (house and senate) will lose to democrats in the next election cycle.
He is blowing hot air.

Gator Emojis are “upper deckers”. You can’t flush ‘em!!
GOP leadership needs to kick Massie out of the Conference.
Greedy Old Possums are not our friends.
The day PDJT announced he would stick with the GOP instead of founding a new party in his effort to regain the Presidency and save the country I said with a heavy heart:
Battered Conservatives gonna try to work it out, for the children.
POTUS can defeat them . Meanwhile, Democrats can defeat themselves.
Besides, there is the schadenfreude from taking something from them.
Good luck with that.
You going to bring in DeSantis to save Massie? LOL.
I despise Massie. I despise Graham.
Massie is the worst though, because people actually think he is some kind of principled conservative. He is a tool of the deep-state criminal of the highest order.
I think you nailed their strategy.
We have ALWAYS, ALWAYS known that the uniparty hates MAGA just as they hated the tea party.
I’m fed up with these whores who have prostituted themselves to the highest bidder and have stolen us blind.
If Trump is too scared of them and keeps the FBLIE AND DOJ BLONDIE from going after these criminals on RICO charges, then he deserves everything they have planned for him. They are no longer hiding their plans to destroy him and us. So, what the hell is he waiting for?
They have already tried to assassinate him twice.
Have you noticed President Trump is a little busy?
His priority has always been protecting the integrity of the country (the border and now his push with poorly managed visas) and the economy. And not his choice, he’s trying to stop the EU from getting us all into WWIII. He’s forging new pathways by implementing national security as economic security. Meanwhile he carries a heavy load doing all the routine work and fighting off legal lawfare
He’s been in office for not quite 5 months doing all this and yet you’re comfortable banging on what the DOJ isn’t doing? Who knows what he has in mind? Not you and not me. But I’m 100% sure he will handle it when he thinks the time is right.
Get a grip and figure out how you can support his efforts. Or otherwise admit you’re not MAGA. If you think that is harsh, I think you’re an uninformed kook for saying President Trump is afraid. He’s the least afraid person I’ve ever seen.
What Mswords sed
Trump isn’t scared of anyone.
Cranky, cranky….
Massie’s the next one to go down, he’s been to stupid to notice they’ve been falling like dominos before President Trump.
Bye Bye Massie.
Massie is in a KY congressional district about the size of an average Texas whorehouse (800K people). Getting rid of him won’t be that easy.
I agree with the people that don’t like him as he always seems to be so eager to torpedo Trump’s agenda, but is pretty useless otherwise. Rand Paul is the same way. A total roadapple that couldn’t change the aerator on a faucet, but complains about everything Trump does.
Yeah I know, that’s weird how is that good politics?
GOP leadership will kick him out of the Conference and make it very uncomfortable for him to run as a Republican. There are tools.
grok says Paul is a licensed eye surgeon, must have a bit of dexterity.
I hope to hell so!!! Massie’s been a pain in everybody’s ass for a long time. The photograph with the blonde bimbo Pushaw speaks volumes.
Trump needs to target the likes of Massie and Rand Paul. Rand Paul
Has been a huge disappointment. Texas is no different, we have the same a-holes here. Crenshaw, Chip Roy and Cornyn. I may as well toss Cruz in that mix.
Good news so far on Cornyn…
I don’t put anything in polls but the latest says Paxton is ahead of Cornyn by 22 points.
I think Texans, of which I am one, have had well enough of the Chamber of Commerce’s favourite immigration fanboy and gun grabber.
👍 👍
I do hope y’all can give Corrupticon Cornyn the permanent boot….. he’s been a royal PITA….

All to be undone by “Events, dear boy, events.”

History is replete with examples of massive egos brought low by them.
Isn’t DeSantis just a RINO Neocon? How does that align with Massie. I never understood why Massie endorsed DeSantis in the first place.

Massie always smiles like a cat 💩ing razor blades.
Imagine what this country would be if the GOP actually represented their constituents and supported the President.
This makes me sick.
Massie – McConnel’s boy.
Puppet of a demented old fool.
McConnell is history.
not til ’26. He’s still in charge of a few economic committees.
Trump needs to put the pedal to the metal.
I suspect that within the Maga Community talks of Elon’s Drug use and the resulting decline in his cognitive abilities will start in 3…2…1… Ketamine? I had a friend who dabbled in that for a while Connective tissues started to break down. She babbled incoherently when she was high. I had to cut her lose it was sad.
Look,, I like Elon,,but,,and you knew there was gonna be a but here. I stand with the Trumpster,,, always have,, always will!!
If Massie really wants term limits, introduce a bill that as soon as the bill is signed by Trump, current congressman/senator who have been in office more than 5 terms, must retire and not run for re-election for at least 2 election cycles.
Michelle–The best term limits are honest elections. That’s why we must dump the machines.
Lindell is in court working on that.
SamFox
There is no one in the GOPe that I like or trust. At best they are stern letter writers and drama queens if the camera is on. They all hate MAGA as much as we hate them.
That being said, I expected a better version of President Trump than we have gotten thus far.
I will support President Trump with everything I have, every day until January 2029, but he needs to improve his game. Maybe less time watching Fox News and more time destroying the deep state. Imagine talking to Putin and having to admit that you have no idea what is being done by the government which you lead. It was understandable term one, inexcusable term two. It boggles the mind.
You still believe that a President runs the US Gubmint…. That’s so cute.
Nobody believes you support Trump.
Burn it all down. I’m sick of it. It’s a Petri dish of leeches and parasites. BURN IT!
This makes sense when you accept that the deep state is both parties and neither will let it die.
They both hate Trump and have completely infiltrated his administration again .
I have a bad feeling about Vance as well. The fact that Palantir is now so heavily involved in getting Americans data and that is Peter Theil , basically Vance’s money man and handler is getting heavily involved. He is also someone who took a lot of money from Epstein supposedly and met with him many times.
It seems in every direction is an obstacle to save America. More and more it seems it may be up to us.
We will be the last resort, just didn’t think it would come so soon.
Hey Elon – in round numbers, how much of the USG’s accumulated debt ended up in your pocket? Follow up question, how many billions more do you plan to grab? Apparently Massie received a brain transfusion from China Mitch.
I read that the BBB ends EV vehicle subsidies.
That would be $7,500 per new car, $4,000 per used car and $1,000 per new charging station.
Considering Tesla sales have fallen off a cliff (despite heavy discounting by Musk), the ending of subsidies would cost him hundreds of millions of $’s.
Always follow the money.
Funny how the GOP decided to cut EV subsidies, but how much other pork and graft did they add? I’m not suggesting the EV subsidies are OK as they are not. If you want an electric anything, you should pay for it yourself. Musk got to be a katrillionaire on the backs of taxpayer subsidies, not just here, but other countries as well. A whole bunch of his money is really our money.
It does seem fishy to me the GOP would target his EV subsidies though. I personally think they (GOP) are 100% pissed-off at him and the DOGE stuff as it put a temporary wrench in their graft machine. The GOP was looting the taxpayer till and some of it was exposed. Much is still buried and needs to be found. The wickedness of these people knows no bounds.
So the GOP is lesser of two evils people say? Really? LOL
GOPe want to hurt Elon as much as anyone. Elon exposed the DC Grift which isn’t limited to Democrats. GOPe is quietly fuming that DOGE exposed the USAID grift as well as many other DC scams hiding behind NGOs.
The fraud is bipartisan……
I remember PDJT talking about getting rid of the EV subsidies, and that is one of the areas where he & Elon disagree. That was months ago. So, Elon has always known this was coming. PDJT is drill-drill-drill, bringing gas prices down, so no need to subsidize electric cars. Actually, we need more electricity for the AI plants, not to waste on charging up cars.
I think the NASA appointee that Elon wanted (but didn’t get) makes more sense as to why he all of the sudden got pissed. This could screw up his Mars plans. Look at how California is (was?) refusing to give him permits for rocket launches. An adversary in NASA could do much worse to Elon’s space industries.
Elon has said that his humanoid robot is going to be the biggest product ever. Not that the cars aren’t important – and he’s certainly spent a ton on all those factories. But, I feel like his other ventures will be more profitable than the cars ever were.
I used to feel that Elon was living off the govt subsidies. But, then I got to ‘know’ him, and I don’t think that anymore. There’s nothing wrong with investing in things that the government agrees with. In fact, it’s smart.
As I recall, Tesla had already sold more units than allowed for the incentives.
It’s comforting that the moron brigade, erupted early and ill timed.
I welcome the humongous effort expended by them to thwart President Trump.
What a bunch of idiots and they think not.
Right on time, like clockwork. All roads lead to Ukraine.
So there fine with us getting the biggest tax increase in history.! Clowns.
Muh Principle$.
If the choice is between mass deportations or fiscal responsibility, I’m going with mass deportations. What even is the point of fiscal responsibility if we’re going to keep giving the country away? If we’re going to give the country to foreigners, let them deal with the debt.
I think we have to draw a distinction between Trump supporter and a person who wants to continue a 6 trillion dollar budget and 2.5 trillion dollar-a-year deficit.
One can be a Trump supporter without mindset of “racking up the debt by 20 trillion in 10 years is good”.
Unless MAGA suddenly became synonymous to running unsustainable government deficits, in that case I stand corrected.
6 trillion budget was “emergency spending” only occurred under Joe Biden and Trumps bill continues it in “non emergency” times.
One consideration is, if things are sourced from a deficit, like the “no tax on tips” policy, then these policies are not sustainable over time anyway. Thus temporary. If you have to borrow money for structural spending, things are very wrong.
The running and racking up of the deficit and not producing a balanced budget, is “the abomination”.
In this perspective, Elon is right.
I am sure there are many good things and MAGA things in this bill, but the other side of the coin is it is an atrocious spending abomination attached to it. Keep the MAGA things, trim the pork spending, balance the budget. How hard can it be. (Might have to trim down on the global domination and war aspirations by trimming the number of US bases abroad, but is that a bad thing?)
Again, this is NOT the budget bill.
These talking heads are purposefully conflating the two in order to keep their followers clicking, watching, sharing and angry and afraid and worried and oh, my, whatever will we do!!!! mind-set. The mentacide continues.
Thanks Bessie
F Massey, we’ve got bugger fish to fry than counting beans and increasing taxes.
I’m confused.. so Vance is a bad guy?
Sundance has never been warm to Vance since the biggest money behind Vance is from tech promoter Peter Thiel, a notable A.I. advocate who founded and has invested $$$$$$$$ into PALANTIR – data / A.I. tech that will ultimately be used against Americans’ financial freedom and security. Sundance posted articles about this last year during the primary season, after the election, and also this year.

Vance wasn’t raised from bad seed from day one like Zero was, but he still has the hallmarks of being artificially raised to his current position by technocrats looking at the long game.

Pushaw is an actual demon. I don’t even need proof outside of LOOK AT HER!!! Her and the lefties are such obvious psychos. Add Kash into that group as well. They are effing insane and it’s written all over their faces.
Black Knight called out Elon from the beginning, never relenting.
Puppet shows can be quite entertaining, but they are still shows, and still puppets.
Quite right.
I wasn’t expecting much out of Elon past the point where his interests parted ways with that of President Trump.
Cannot say that I was disappointed.
WHERE? Is Black Knight? I keep looking for him.
He got sidelined without an explanation.
Many of us are praying we see him in the threads again.
A singular talent and an amazingly well studied patriot.
I haven’t liked Vance from the giddyup. Massie/Rand Paul are clowns. They could do so much good but their Kentucky Uniparty ways get the better of their judgements.
What can I say about ron! that hadn’t already been said?
If it wasn’t for Republican’ts and their machinations this Nation would be doing alright.
I may not be voting anymore if this is what they plan to serve up. And what makes us think we will even be around to cast votes for these jerkoffs at the rate we’re going now?
If we don’t get our sh!t wired tight quick it’s game over.
Massie needs the good ole Trump spotlight put on him! Turn it on to high lumens!
I hope you all had a happy 20th Anniversary of Killdozer why you contemplate Congressional spending and the political maneuvering over the country’s carcass.
The whole lot of them truly are despicable! I absolutely loathe them!
Darn it, I want to like Vance.
And I want to like Elon.
Massie has been in Congress for 13 years and he wants term limits. Does his rule not apply to him?
I’d never heard of hm until about a year ago.
He certainly wasn’t running around screeching “muh deficit” at this decibel level for all those years.
Naive old me will really like to believe Elon Musk will not be easily suckered into helping Massie attack MAGA and President Trump no matter how much he dislikes that BBB. I’m hoping Musk got too much of a bellyfull of democrats’ political games and massive Corruption when he was digging in the Swamp with Doge to now align himself with them to undermine We The People.
F* both of them…Musk has always been a very dark dork. Speaking of which – the media pushed nonsense about his hatred of the bill exposed…
Note – the discrepancy or “CBO big gimmick” is the CBO doesn’t use the fact that the current tax cuts that PDJT implemented in his first term are the baseline – but instead use a baseline of “the previous tax cuts don’t exist.”
They also don’t factor in any realistic growth in the economy.
Of course, nobody is including additional savings planned through recissions.
The people who say “I support Trump but…” are full of crap. They don’t support Trump.
Let’s hope PDJT is keeping most cards close until the primaries heat up. If he doesn’t have any cards or doesn’t play them then he never really had all the secrets we thought he may
Why do I feel like this is all a play?
I suppose none of it really matters anyway, because I’m not of this world and I belong to Jesus.
Still, I worry for all of the worldly……
Well, Sundance warned us. If we can’t all reunite, we are doomed .
Rs are united against Massie, Paul and DeSantis.
President Trump should just go ninja on them, attack them all, the BBB is terrible… blah, blah, blah. Do you expect one man to do Everything? How is President Trump going to get any bill passed after he goes nuclear? We all know Ms. Graham sucks but is a democrat going to be better? I am just grateful for whatever President Trump is able to accomplish. I know that NO ONE ELSE would have done HALF of what has been accomplished already.
They are such little girls. These “CONservatives” who weaponize “cost cutting” with zero idea how to grow yourself out of debt. Cost cutting sounds good but we have 4 additional votes in the house, will NEVER HAPPEN! So sick of these sanctimonious frauds.
Effff you see kay > Massie & Grahamnasty!
