As the story is told, Jamal Wali, 36, was allegedly brought to the US in 2014 after working as an interpreter for the US forces in Afghanistan. He was pulled over for a routine violation in Fairfax, Virginia.
The obviously unstable Mr Wali shouted profanities at the police, professed his hatred for the United States and regret for not supporting the Taliban, and then eventually ended up opening fire on the police officers present. The shooting happened earlier this month, and the Virginia police released the bodycam footage earlier today.
There is something profoundly wrong with our immigration system when this level of instability is intentionally brought to the USA from a war zone in Afghanistan. The two police officers were wounded, Mr Wali was killed in the exchange. Video below:

Unfortunately, these incidents follow an increasing trend as the cultural and sociological clash between foreign aliens and American values continues to unfold. Many people who travel to America come from places where tribalism, and tribal rules are the general way of life. As they encounter social rules and regulations that apply toward daily American life, they grow more and more frustrated over time.
There are a lot of people throughout the world who have no concept or reference point of EU, USA or even Western cultural civility. When I visited Russia last year this was often a topic of discussion about why the Russian Federation government controls immigration so severely.
As much as I did not like the sociology of Russia overall, there were some aspects to the strongly enforced rules protecting social cohesion that seemingly did make sense.

Just another reminder about the reality of policing the public. Thousands of vehicles are pulled over every day for a variety of legitimate reasons. Unfortunately, officers don’t know which ones are literally human IEDs. This one was. It takes an officer from a stress level of zero to a hundred in a nano second. No winners in this incident. Just glad to see the officers get home for dinner – the successful completion of the first rule of police work.

I spent plenty of time in Afghanistan and lost too many friends in that wasted effort. The Bush, Obama, and especially the Biden administration lied to both the American and Afghan people. We were all sold out, especially at the very end, leaving as we did to make way for the Ukrainian effort. Whether Afghan or American there are many war fighters who share a profound frustration.

I commend the officer for his handling of this obviously dangerous situation. They are lucky in this one that none of them were seriously injured.
The officer should have backed away after the first few words especially after the “I am armed” yelled immediately upon the stop.

This Afghan was persuaded to assist the US Army in its misguided attempt to make Afghanistan a less hospitable place to the likes of the Taliban. I don’t think you can have this conversation without first identifying why the individual chose, in Afghanistan, to become an interpreter for the US.
There are a wide variety of sufficient motives, from financial, to gaining an upper hand in a tribal or personal conflict, to finding eventual escape from Afghanistan to the US. Add to those the capability of the CIA to manipulate certain weak or compromised individuals, and you have a cornucopia of motivations–Western idealism being the least likely!
This individual may also have been being manipulated or brainwashed by the CIA using who knows what methods, while here in the states.
To the deep state and the interests it protects or promotes, human lives are less than insignificant.

Locally, in north AL, I am seeing many more Muslims and the women are wearing more covering and black. I think that is a more conservative group. There are some unbecoming comments on this threat on this horrendous incident. I am a little pissed off for many of these comments from conservative people regarding this matter. Most comments are heartless.
A man is dead and 4 children lost their father. The man worked for the USA for years and he was a dead man if he stayed in Afghanistan. We bring him here but his ability to earn a living in a modern economy for his family is zilch. He is broke and desperate and can’t go home to where he is from. He told us all that. He said we lied to him for years… isn’t that we all believe about our government too?

a few comments:
a. never engage anyone unless your LIFE IS IN IMMEDIATE DANGER (or your family), HAVE TACTICAL TRAINING, AND HAVE A LOADED WEAPON. Optional but important: a tactical vest protecting your vital areas.
b. Always have backup unless you cannot depend on it, or there is no time.
c. take defensive positions so that your adversary will be in a vulnerable position in such a way that you can deliver rounds on target, but you do not expose yourself unnecessarily. Cover your corners.
d. DO NOT TALK. FOCUS AND STAY CALM AND HAVE YOUR WEAPON READY TO FIRE.
e. If you can escape, and avoid engagement, do that. always do that whenever you can. Never engage unless absolutely necessary. defensive fire while in retreat is a good strategy. make sure the rounds you send are on or near target so the adversary has a reason to believe chasing you is a bad idea. never turn your back on your adversary in retreat. Walk backwards, slowly and carefully with your weapon fully trained on target.
never give up your weapon. ever.
these rules are not to be followed when dealing with law enforcement. you will lose that battle. and even if you win, you will lose the criminal case battle. Always comply with police orders…especially if you have a weapon and the police are tuned up about something you have done. Don’t give the police a reason to shoot you. Because when your dead, being right now longer matters.
