I’m going to go out on a limb and say this post was likely not written by RFK Jr., because 3 hackneyed pharma plays jump out:
1) A post full of absurd assertions opens with the accusation of others being absurd, a projection that’s always been beneath RFK Jr;
2) gaslighting with a shaming attempt that you’re wrong if you don’t agree with the absurdities in the post;
3) most importantly, something that RFK Jr would never in a million years do – Attempt to divide the MAHA people by calling half of MAHA bots.

I read of and listen to and watch snippets of all sides discussing the budget, tax cuts, trying to cut spending, while barely mentioning the enormous deficit. I am thoroughly convinced NOTHING will ever change it or improve the situation. It will result in a complete catastrophe, a total collapse of the dollar, the system, both US and global. No party, no President, no nations will tackle it. Nobody wants the music to stop. It truly is the Titanic sailing toward the iceberg.
And if you think our level of debt is bad, you may not know the WORST part. The use of derivatives by the banks and financial industries has magnified the danger 100 fold. Once things begin to unravel, the whole system will fall like the twin towers. If you’re not familiar with how banks, hedge funds and others use borrowed leverage to game the system do some research. It’s never a problem until it is, and then it happens fast.
I am trying to not be a doomer, but the ONLY way to delay this disaster is by stopping the momentum, cutting spending and reducing the deficit direction. It has to START HAPPENING, or it never will. While it may be nothing more than bailing water by hand from the sinking ship, it means our children MAYBE have more time to prepare, and our grandchildren can maintain some hope.
President Trump sends confusing signals…do we increase tax on the wealthy…do we not? Not a good idea for R’s to go there….but do it if you want to….while the CONgress fiddle farts and sidesteps the issues, forever aligned with their lobbyists and their constituents who care nothing about anything except their own backyard.
THIS is why it will never be fixed. The wagon must labor forward, creaking and shuddering, until it breaks apart and dumps everyone into the ditch.
I have no answer beyond trusting in God, being vigilant with my assets, living our best life.
I don’t think anyone should have a tax increase. I just think the loopholes should be closed so that they actually pay what we have to pay.

I sounded the alarm on two fronts, the debt itself and the inactivity and even intransigence in dealing with it (for example decrying billions in savings when more is needed, resulting in nothing being saved) and how recent changes in Social Security, the Social Security Fairness Act (approved by many Republicon congressmen (both Kansas Senators for example) will make that 2033 iceberg collision happen years sooner.
If these grifters ran their own house like they do the US Government, they’d be sitting with their belongings on the curb in front of their house. It’s unbelievable how the people’s money is spent as if it grows on trees. They all apparently think they’ll get along just fine, to hell with everyone else.

Sounds like the judicial appointments during this presidency will be much better than last time. I read elsewhere that the Administration isn’t taking recommendations from the Federalist Society this time and is not involving it in judicial appointments. I was very pleased to see that news. They recommend ivy league establishment lawyers like Roberts or ones they know will play ball, like Barrett.

Maine has become quite a political hotbed since Janet Mills came along to drive the state into the ditch.
There are plenty of patriots fighting it all, but it’s a big state with a pretty thin population- it ain’t easy.
I think these fights are easier in smaller states and cities. It certainly would be easier to do a forensic audit of an election. If post election surveys don’t match the results on election day there is either a large number of liars in that area or fraud.
Maybe start with a very innocuous question on the survey “Did you vote in the last election?” If the numbers don’t match the vote totals, something is going on.

Hate me all you want but here’s my truth. Since the VA has been Doged it looks to me like they are dumping patients at their most vulnerable senior moments and hastening their death and stressing their support system if they even have one. I am not OK with this and I am living it. The VA has always been a troubled organization and I’ve put up with decades of shoddy excuses. If you go to VA you will see more amputees than anywhere else. People think it’s because of the veterans service but no there’s a huge culture of trying to create a NEED for amputations when they weren’t necessary. For decades in order to get your full benefits you had to hire some self appointed shyster to help you get your benefits. You think it’s easier now? Nope. They hide medical records and they hide service records. Our entire medical system is corrupt and it’s a special kind of hell on earth to be sick and have to trust people that are openly lying to your face, and/or omitting information. But to dump sick dying people and hasten their death is simply disgusting. I’ve got a new view and I don’t know where I’m going with it but this is insanely wrong not winning on a individual level and how many individuals nationwide? Been Doged just took on a whole new meaning in this house.
In another topic I finally will have a chance to buy $3 eggs this week (special 1X sale) so it makes our President’s statement true for one week at least. Signing off for now

Reduced funding? Reduced staff from firings?
One factor may be that a usually hostile and belligerent staff might be even more belligerent at personnel cuts being made and the surviving staff being held to higher standards of care and productivity, greater workload, etc

I am extremely sorry for your experience. Don’t know your location or if that makes any difference, but my VA care has been simply outstanding. USAF vet, 24 years. Minor service connected disability. My clinic here in Lakeland, FL has been a positive experience on each visit with staff who seem to actually like their job.
Hoping you are able to find a way to get the care you need. Also hoping my good care is what the majority of our vets are getting. VA has definitely not been immune to fraud, waste and abuse. DOGE may be using a machete at times when a scalpel is needed.

Have a difficult time keeping up with news so I didn’t realize that VA had already been Doged. I don’t know details of doge but thought that updated computer systems would surely be part of it. I may be wrong about this I will admit and southern states where people spend their winters often people consider their northern state registration with VA sufficient leaving the southern state VA lacking verifiable proof of the necessity for increased funding to accommodate winter residents. (What I’ve been told). We’ve already been suffering long wait for repair of scooter and lift while the PCP dumped my spouse due to lack of current records. Hospice doesn’t provide specialists to patients. I couldn’t get him to an appointment cuz lift busted plus I also need scooter for navigating the huge distances in VA. So I’m supposed to get him down there and send him (a dementia patient) inside to ask for assistance for me? He has other problems that would necessitate me to pull over and find a discrete place to clean him up which means I have to pack ALOT of stuff and could also make us late which would make the whole effort a stressful waste of time. VA doctors and pharmacists (pretend?) cluelessness as to how hospice works. When I fought to get the scooter/lift issue fixed so I could attempt to address the us not traveling down there complaint from them the employees explained that they had NO RECORDS (again) of how long we had been waiting. My hospice nurse has stepped up after I notified her that I had filed complaint and IDK how she/they did it but we’re going to have a group call next week and resolve this hopefully but not everyone has a hospice like that able to clear an employee schedule for an entire day in order to navigate the VA with their knowledge of rules and laws outside the VA and how these systems should interface if that’s the correct term. We are being lucky right now I hope but how many aren’t? Our VA was already clearly in trouble before Doge is all I know for sure.
