Alberta is a decent start, but the entirety of Canada must be the end goal.
The Arctic is very, very important; just Alberta and Saskatchewan will not gain us that. And there is some strategic importance to the east as well.
It’s a mistake to only think of geography when considering strategy (people can be just as important as mountains, for example), but it is an even worse mistake to not consider it.
In the end, if we should have to go to the trouble of annexing, then go big — we want all of it; Alberta is just a piece.
Big as in Yukon and Northwest Territories? With Alberta and Saskatchewan you have a solid land route to Alaska AND you cut off and isolate B.C. from the rest of Canada.
Look at the map of the entirety of Canada and how it factors into geopolitics both close to home as well as with countries across our “big oceans”.
